Sharing an evening on the red carpet, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen turned up at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 3).
The "Jumper" co-star couple ventured over to the MET Gala after spending time at the Carlyle Restaurant at the Rosewood Hotel.
The fancy fete outing comes after Rachel has been busy tending to her new job duties as the face of Sunglass Hut.
The former "OC" star took on the role of eyewear ambassador for the company - attending the grand opening of their flagship store just last week.

Tending to the day's agenda, Rachel Bilson was spotted out and about in New York City on Thursday (April 29).
The former "OC" star looked adorable as she braved the windy weather while strolling out to an awaiting car.
The previous evening, Rachel attended the flagship opening celebration at Sunglass Hut on Fifth Avenue after recently being named the eyewear brand's style director.
Of the job, Rachel told WWD, ?I was very flattered when Sunglass Hut approached me to do this. I can?t say what makes me a good style adviser for them, but I am a huge sunglasses addict. I don?t leave the house without [a pair].?

Looking beautiful in blue, the "Jumper" cutie posed for pictures while mingling with Sunglass Hut CEO Fabio d'Angelantonio and General Manager Mark Weikel.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Bilson was recently named as the eyewear brand's style director.

While she's lightened up her filming obligations, Rachel Bilson continues to land money-making gigs - the latest being with Sunglass Hut.
On Wednesday (April 28), the former "OC" star will be hitting Fifth Avenue to celebrate the opening of Sunglass Hut?s new Manhattan flagship store as their first eyewear ambassador.
Of the job opportunity, Rachel told WWD via e-mail, ?I was very flattered when Sunglass Hut approached me to do this. I can?t say what makes me a good style adviser for them, but I am a huge sunglasses addict. I don?t leave the house without [a pair].?
Included in her duties, Miss Bilson will be starting her very own trend blog on the company Web site beginning in June 2010.
As "style director," the brunette beauty will also be doing Q&A video podcasts with key industry figures - with her first such guest being Tory Burch.
?I love talking about fashion, so I can?t wait to talk to professionals who share the same passion,? tells Bilson.
She adds that Karl Lagerfeld would be her prime subject, gushing, ?He?s an icon and he wears sunglasses at all times.?

Living it up at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Rachel Bilson was spotted at the Lacoste Pool Party on Saturday (April 17).
The ?Last Kiss? cutie looked lovely as she mingled with fellow party guests, sporting a black and blue top with denim shorts and sandals.
Looking to beat the heat, Rachel armed herself with a bottle of icy cold water and a portable handheld fan.
Among the other celebrity guests were Paul Walker, Emile Hirsch, Alexa Chung, Jesse Metcalfe, and Lake Bell.

I?ll admit, I rarely think about Rachel Bilson one way or the other. Her style and talent seem hit-or-miss, but on the plus side, she seems like a nice girl with a decent head on her shoulders. Thus, most people aren?t paying attention to her, I think. She?s not a hot mess and she?s not some bombshell. She?s just cute and there. Anyway, Rachel has a new movie called Waiting for Forever, and the premiere was last night in New York. This white Preen dress was what she wore - what do you think? It?s weird, right? Like it could have been really special and cute and amazing, but the designer f-cked it up with those strange boob cups and the rib cage cut-out. If the stuff from the waist up was changed only slightly, she would have looked amazing. Eh.
Love it or hate it?
Rachel Bilson showed off her petite figure in a bizarre bra cut-out Preen frock at the premiere of her new flick, Waiting for Forever, in NYC Thursday. (The actress, 28, also donned nude Brian Atwood pumps.)
The back of the cream colored gown featured a bright yellow neon stripe of fabric.
Bilson — who has been engaged to her Jumper costar Hayden Christensen, 28, since February 2009 — recently admitted to Cleo magazine that she’s obsessed with shopping.
“I’m not a shopaholic in the sense that I spend lots of money; I definitely love vintage and I love finding deals just like anyone else. But I do like to shop!” she said.

Checking out the screening of her new movie "Waiting for Forever," the 28-year-old actress strutted her stuff in a sexy white frock.
During the swanky affair, Miss Bilson was joined by co-stars Tom Sturridge and Blythe Danner, as well as director James Keach.
As for "Waiting for Forever," the movie is "a Hollywood-set romantic tale of a guy who is content to live his life without a job yet with the love of his life, a young actress."
