Uniting on the set for a long day of filming, Christina Aguilera and Cher started shooting scenes on a busy Hollywood street for their latest movie “Burlesque” on Thursday (January 7).
The two lovely ladies were spotted turning the heads of male crew members while they walked passed them - with Aguilera rocking some fierce heels while Cher kept it retro in her bell bottom jeans and platinum black hair.
Seemingly getting along quite well, the pair of singing sensations were also seen chatting and laughing together in between takes - talking to staff workers while walking back and forth across the blocked off street.
Due out November 24, 2010, a synopsis of the Steve Antin directed film “Burlesque” tells: “A small-town girl ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer.”

Singer takes electronic approach with a slew of collaborations on new LP.By James Dinh

Between working with legendary hip-hop producer DJ Premier or making a song that's a throwback to the 1940s, Christina Aguilera has never been afraid to experiment with her music. And on her new album, Bionic, due in March, the singer is looking ahead: In next month's issue of Marie Claire, the songstress said that the album "is about the future," crediting her son Max as one of her musical inspirations who's "motivating me to want to play and have fun."
Although she's always been known for her soaring vocals, she's brought in a softer style of singing on this album. She admitted to the magazine that easing up is something "that maybe I've been afraid to do in the past, to allow myself to go to a place of 'less singing,' " she said. "I'm more vulnerable and more strong at the same time."
According to the magazine, the album's tentative first single is a Tricky Stewart-produced track called "Glam," described as "a poppy, hip-hop inflected throwback to Madonna's 'Vogue.' " Other tracks include "the addictive electronic title track" and an ode to her son titled "Lullaby," which is the result of Aguilera's studio sessions with Australian singer Sia.
Last fall, Tricky Stewart talked about the album, calling it "one of her best bodies of work." "I know that there's a lot of other cool features, like I know that she has Santigold and Flo Rida on there," he told Rap-Up.com. "She's mixing it up again. She's singing R&B again, she's doing pop. She's doing it all, but she's found a way to make it all meet in the middle because she's so many different things."
Over the summer, Aguilera mentioned a couple of other artists
she's been working with, although it was unclear at press time whether those collaborations will appear on the LP. "I got a chance to sort of write with Santigold, M.I.A., Ladytron — artists that I really love." she told fans during a broadcast for her A.P.E. radio station in August. Other collaborators include Dr. Luke, Bravery frontman Sam Endicott (who worked with Shakira on "She Wolf"), Switch and Goldfrapp.
And while she puts the finishing touches on Bionic, Aguilera is also busy shooting her on-screen debut in the movie musical, "Burlesque,"which hits theaters in November.

Christina Aguilera’s fourth studio album, which is planned to arrive in the market this March, is called “Bionic”. Christina Aguilera’s new year’s resolution isn’t new at all.“To continue having the best life ever” is her resolution for 2010, she said while hosting a New Year’s party at Tao Las Vegas Thursday. “I paved the way for the work this year [2009].”Her 2010 is shaping up to be extremely active, with a new album on the way and her movie (”Burlesque”), costarring Cher, set to be released. The two of them will also be presenters at the Golden Globes on January 17.“The album is done, the movie I’m [still] filming,” she said. “Doing film is a whole different animal. … The schedule is grueling, but it’s been really amazing and an incredible learning experience.”Of all the moments in 2009, the one that most sticks out, she noted, was seeing son Max, who turns 2 January 12, celebrate Christmas — which she considers the highlight of the year.“That was the best memory, his face and seeing his everything come to life with Santa,” she says. “It was really amazing.”

Spending the evening with the family, Christina Aguilera joined hubby Jason Bratman and son Max for a Beverly Hills outing on Wednesday (December 30).
The “Beautiful” singer and her two main men kicked off the night’s rounds with a shopping stop at Barney’s New York department store.
After finishing up with the retail romp, the happy trio proceeded to make their way over to Santa Monica for dinner at Houston’s restaurant.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Christina is currently gearing up for a trip to Las Vegas - as she’s lined up to host a New Year’s Eve party at Sin City hot spot Tao on Thursday night (December 31).

Taking a much-needed afternoon break from her mommy duties, Christina Aguilera was spotted shopping it up in Los Angeles on Tuesday (December 29).
The “Genie In a Bottle” babe first turned up at the popular Fred Segal boutiue, where show perused the racks for a new pair of shoes to add to her collection.
Not finished yet, Miss Aguilera then rolled over to the Neiman Marcus department store with her retail companion to search for a new ensemble.
Chances are, Christina was gearing up for her trip to Las Vegas - as she’s lined up to host a New Year’s Eve party at Sin City hot spot Tao on Thursday night (December 31).

Joining in on the last-minute shopping rush, Christina Aguilera was spotted out picking up a few purchases in Beverly Hills on Thursday (December 24).
Readying for the family’s first Christmas with her son, the “Beautiful” singer toted young Max in her arms as she ecited Petco while hubby Jordan Bratman followed behind.
The family shopping trip comes shortly after Miss Aguilera was involved in a minor fender bender during which time her Range Rover hit another Range Rover while making a left turn near Santa Monica Blvd.
Fortunately enough, the accident was “very, very minor” and “all is fine,” Aguilera’s rep told press shortly after the incident.
