She has a rock star boyfriend, a hit movie on the way and plenty of sex appeal, so it?s no wonder Cameron Diaz is sizzling on the cover of Esquire magazine?s August 2014 issue.
In her interview, the ?There?s Something About Mary? stunner discusses why she went against the grain and decided not to have kids.
"It's so much more work to have children. To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for ? I didn't take that on. That did make things easier for me. A baby ? that's all day, every day for eighteen years. Not having a baby might really make things easier, but that doesn't make it an easy decision. I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother. I have it much easier than any of them. That's just what it is. Doesn't mean life isn't sometimes hard. I'm just what I am. I work on what I am. Right now, I think, things are good for me. I've done a lot. And I don't care anymore."
And unlike many of her Tinseltown peers, Cameron isn?t freaked out about being in her forties. "I like being forty-one. I love it. So much sh*t just falls away. Fear, mostly. It's the best age. That's when a woman knows how to work things, or she doesn't care about that anymore. You just stop being afraid. You don't worry about what men think. You just don't worry that time registers anything awful."
Diaz decided to go nude for her forthcoming film ?Sex Tape? with Jason Segel and she doesn?t regret it. "It's a first for me. But Jason [Segel] gets naked, too. It's just a part of the role. So I did it. I mean you see everything."
Furthermore, Cameron understands how blessed she is- "It's a weird job, right? [For Sex Tape] I found myself in a room in the middle of nowhere Massachusetts at 11:00 at night doing a childbirth scene, and everybody's screaming at one another-Jason, the cameramen, the director. And me acting like I'm trying to push a basketball out of my vajoon. Crazy sh*t, right? And the thing is, I always take a moment to say, 'We're lucky. This is a great job. A fun job.'?

Showing some love for their Spanish fans, Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel attended a photocall for their new film ?Sex Tap? in Barcelona on Wednesday (June 18).
Also joined by Rob Lowe, the ?Forgetting Sarah Marshall? hunk and the ?Vanilla Sky? vixen were in good spirits as they posed for photos ahead of the big premiere.
?Sex Tape? also stars Rob Corddry, Jack Black and Ellie Kemper and is slated to land Stateside on July 18th.
Per the synopsis, ?A married couple wakes up to discover that the sex tape they made the evening before has gone missing, leading to a frantic search for its whereabouts.?

These are some photos of Cameron Diaz and Jason Segal at the Barcelona film festival premiere of S*x Tape. Don’t ask me why a raunchy sex comedy is premiering at an actual festival. The movie’s premise (green band trailer here) is that Cami and Jason’s characters get busy and record it, but they accidentally upload the footage to iCloud. Leave it to Hollywood to decide they’re the first ones to hear of the internet, right? Jason recently gave an interview about how his mom cried when she saw his nude scene in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Mom probably shouldn’t watch this movie either.
Jason is looking good. He’s put on a few pounds and looks much healthier than he did last year. Cameron is wearing a Roland Mouret cocktail dress. The white color is a bit blah, but it looks nice against the red carpet background. The asymmetrical shoulder and bodice area add a little bit of flair. Her body is slammin.’
Cameron’s love life is heating up too. She and Benji Madden have started dating and smooching in public. Last week’s issue of Star said Cameron already wanted a baby, but that story was so fake. This week’s edition of Life & Style says Cami and Benji have pretty much moved in together already. An insider says, “They’re moving really fast!” and “He seems right at home” in Cam’s NYC apartment. This seems believable. Poor Benji. He’s gonna get dumped pretty hard, isn’t he?

This story seems like a case of fan fiction from Star magazine on a slow news week. It has all of the ingredients of a classic Jennifer Aniston story except it never talks about hair. The gist of the tale is that Cameron Diaz must have suddenly realized she’s nearing the end of her childbearing years. She has been so “unlucky in love” and has a new boyfriend, so she must want children, right? I dislike it so much when the tabloids write stories like this.
Cameron has always voiced her opinions strongly. She may be annoying when she starts ranting about deodorant or monogamy, but I’ve never gotten the impression that she was being less than truthful. She’s never raved about wanting babies, but now that Cameron has a nice boyfriend (Benji Madden) and they kiss in public, things must be different, right?
After just two months of dating, Cameron Diaz is ready to have a baby with Benji Madden, Star can reveal. “She’s falling hard,” admits a close friend. “She think she’s The One.” Cameron’s lust for motherhood is the result of her long-standing friendship with Benji’s sister-in-law, Nicole Richie, who introduced the new couple. Cam sees how much joy Nicole gets from her kids,” continues the source. “She’s always wanted to be a mom and doesn’t want to wait until it’s too late.” The 41-year-old, who debuted her tomance with the Good Charlotte guitarist, 35, with a hand-in-hand stroll in New York City on June 3, is already looking into her options. “If it turns out that she can’t conceive,” says the friend, “She’s open to adoption or surrogacy. She’s made up her midn that it’s going to happen within the next two years — whether Benji wants to be involved or not.” Talk about jumping in headfirst!

I have never imagined for a moment that Cameron’s been dying to have a child. She’s never played that game with the press either. It seems very unlikely that Cameron has changed her mind about kids since her recent press tour. She told the Telegraph, “If I wanted kids, at any point in life, I would have them. It’s not like I’m the spinster who didn’t have a child. I just didn?t do that in life, and I?m OK with that. I know the choices I made. I know why I made them.” Cameron also said that she had tons of children in her life already, and if she ever wanted to “borrow” a kid, her friends would be thrilled. She’s perfectly happy being Auntie Cam.
Not all women want to have kids, but that doesn’t sell tabloids. Baby watch does.

These are photos of Cameron Diaz not-so-subtly flipping the bird outside her gym last weekend. She veers so often between gregarious and rude with paps, but she was probably makeup free and didn’t want her photo taken. I covered a story a few weeks ago about how Cameron was probably dating Benji Madden. He’s Joel’s twin brother, and they’re both members of Good Charlotte. They also just formed a new band called the Madden Brothers. Joel is married to Nicole Richie, and Cam’s tight with Nic. It makes sense that Cam and Benji would eventually hookup.
Now E! has photo proof of the two new lovers holding hands on a coffee date. A source says, “They seemed relaxed and looked like a happy new couple. You can see the pictures here. What do you think? The bitchy part of me thinks Cameron’s face is like, “He’ll do for now.” That’s a shame because Benji has a reputation of being a super nice guy. He did dodge questions of his new new romance during a Ryan Seacrest interview. I think he’s a keeper even though, physically, I still can’t tell him apart from Joel. Star magazine (via Radar) has a photo of Cameron locking lips with Benji:
It’s true — Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are dating, or at least locking lips.
Reports that the two were an item surfaced in recent weeks when they were photographed together at a Los Angeles gym and Madden stayed mum on the romance when asked by an Australian radio show, but Star Magazine confirmed the pair is together with exclusive photos of the duo smooching over the weekend.
“Throughout the entire meal, Cameron and Benji couldn?t keep their hands off each other,” an eyewitness who spotted the A-list actress and Good Charlotte rocker having breakfast at Manhattan?s ABC Kitchen on Sunday. “They were whispering to each other and laughing, just having the best time together.”
According to Star, Diaz, 41, and Madden, 35, were with a group of six people but appeared to be in their own world together.
“Everyone else at the table was talking and catching up, but Benji and Cameron were completely removed from the conversation. They were totally consumed with each other,” the source said. “Benji kept his arm around her, and she?d just rest her head on his shoulder and stare at him, grinning. It was obvious that she?s crazy about him.”
Madden?s brother, Joel, is married to Nicole Richie who is said to have set him up with Diaz. “I wouldn?t be surprised is they are together for a very, very long time,” the source added.

I don’t know. This story paints a picture of Cameron being completely into Benji, but my instincts are that Cameron is gonna break Benji’s heart. Then Nicole will get mad at Cameron, and there will be all sorts of girl drama in the tabloids.

You only thought Cameron Diaz’s tour for The Other Woman was finished. The movie came out last weekend, so Cami should be resting on a Hawaiian beach somewhere, right? Wrong. She’s still talking! Cameron is always entertaining and opinionated, but it would be fine if she took a little vacation. Let’s hang on a bit longer for her latest soundbite.
The funny thing about Cameron’s talking points is that when she says “everyone” does something, she really means that she does it. Cameron hands out advice like Goop does … but without the monetary requirement. The distinction is important because Cam is more amusing than insufferable. Cam’s all about sweeping statements on down-there hair, cheating, and monogamy. Cam is a big philospher on relationships, and this new interview reaches back to the moment when she said “all women have been attracted to another woman.” Cam has a new interview with Andy Cohen, and she finally admits that she has gotten busy with another woman. Ahem:
Is Cameron Diaz a lady in the streets and a freak in the sheets?
In Glamour U.K.’s May 2014 issue, the single star said she believes that “all women have been sexually attracted to another woman at some point.” When the actress and her Other Woman co-star Leslie Mann appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live Monday, she was asked if she had ever acted on that attraction. “Have you, yourself, ever swam in the lady pond?” host Andy Cohen wondered.
“Interesting!” Diaz said, laughing. “What is the lady pond?”
“Have you ever been with a lady?” Cohen asked.
“Yes, I have been with a lady. Yeah,” Diaz said. The TV host then asked, “More than once?”
“You didn’t ask explicitly how I was with a lady,” Diaz told Cohen, “but I have been with a lady.”
The actress–who dated New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez from 2010 to 201–was also asked about the “best and worst thing about dating a baseball player.” The 41-year-old blond laughed and said, “I think schedule and schedule!”
For her third and final question in the Plead the Fifth segment, Diaz was asked to name one movie she regrets starring in. “I don’t think I have any regrets,” the movie star replied. “Is that an answer?”

I still think Cameron is wrong when she says every woman in the universe has thought of heading to the other side. At least she’s finally listing herself as source material. A sociologist could perform one heck of a study based upon Cameron’s interviews to promote this movie. She’s run the gamut, and it will be interesting to see if she has anything left in the tank for her next press tour.

Cameron is still promoting The Other Woman, which means she’s still talking about cheating. I’m starting to wonder if she accepted this role simply for the press tour. It might feel good to make us all wonder who cheated on her in the past: Justin Timberlake, Matt Dillon, Jared Leto, or A-Rod? Maybe a combination thereof.
Cam’s having fun with the cheating topic, and I can applaud that spirit. Cameron told E! Online, “You know what? I feel like I’ve missed my opportunity [for revenge]. I really wish I had the stomach for it, and I’m not planning on going out with anyone who cheats on me again.” I think this tour is Cameron’s revenge. Also on the agenda? Convincing people to stop using antiperspirant:

“I don’t believe in antiperspirant,” the actress told me at last night’s premiere of her new comedy, The Other Woman (in theaters on Friday). “It’s really bad for you. I haven’t used it for almost 20 years.”

“You’re stinky, because you use antiperspirant,” Diaz said. “It keeps all the stink in.”
Even men should go without? Yup!
“Let it go and just trim your armpit hair so it doesn’t hold onto the scent,” Diaz said.

Are people really “stinky” as a result of antiperspirant? I never thought of it that way. I won’t assume that Cameron is a stinker because she might use a deodorant that isn’t coupled with antiperspirant. She’s probably not going full Shailene Woodley. There’s also something to this mini-rant from Cameron. Many people consider antiperspirants toxic because they contain aluminum and could pose a breast cancer risk. The American Cancer Society says these claims are untrue, but you never know. I still use antiperspirant because I don’t want to offend my fellow gym-goers! They probably don’t even notice. So much for polite manners.
Cameron also appeared on Jimmy Fallon last night. Cam was actually Jimmy’s first guest when he took over Late Night from Conan O’Brien in 2009. Here’s a video of Cameron talking about Drew Barrymore’s new daughter. She also admitted pranking Jimmy’s first baby.
Cam also played roller golf with Fallon. This portion of his show is always ridic.
