She?s been super busy with media appearances this week, and last night (June 21) Cameron Diaz stopped in to see Jimmy Fallon on ?Late Night.?
The ?Gangs of New York? actress looked to be in good spirits as she hammed it up with Fallon at Rockefeller Center and talked about her new movie ?Bad Teacher,? due in theaters June 24th.
And though the film is thought to be a little over-the-top with profanity, Cameron claims she thinks it?s just fine.
?I don?t consider this raunchy. I think that raunchy insinuates that you are trying to shock people. I feel this is a story line ? there?s a lot to it. We just don?t have big blasts of like, we?re trying to shock you.?
?Everything is connected because they?re telling the story. Even if there is a big laugh, it?s filled with a lot of small laughs and hidden laughs that are just flavored with it. I don?t consider it raunchy. My personal opinion.?

Apparently, there will be no shortage of minidresses for Cameron Diaz to wear on this Bad Teacher promotional tour, and she’s currently running amuck in New York City while showing off her gorgeous legs at The Ziegfeld Theater. Apparently, Cami’s had enough of jumpsuits for awhile, yet she certainly thinks nothing of continuing to wear the weight of said jumpsuit in blusher and eyeliner. That makeup job is far too harsh and does nothing to accentuate Cameron’s face in a positive way.
Naturally, Justin Timberlake was also front and present on the premiere red carpet, and he showed up in all black and looking like a total hipster dork.
Earlier in the day, Cameron appeared on the “Late Show With David Letterman” in yet another thigh-skimming dress, but this time she went with a cornflower blue. Although I love the color of the dress, which compliments Cameron’s eye color perfectly, I find the cut to be a bit strange, and that black zipper-looking thing needs to go. Of course, it’s one of Cameron’s typical miniskirt looks, but I think the dress would actually come off a lot better if she’d swept her hair into a loose updo. Instead, Cameron’s hair simply hangs in an unkempt manner and distracts from what could otherwise be a fairly smart-looking outfit.

With their new movie due in theaters this Friday (June 24), Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake were side-by-side for the New York City premiere of "Bad Teacher" on Monday night (June 20).
Taking place at the Ziegfeld Theatre, the former couple and current co-stars were joined by director Jake Kasdan and actors Lucy Punch and Phyllis Smith for the Big Apple screening.
As for their new film, "Bad Teacher" is "a comedy centered around a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague -- a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher."
With plenty of steamy scenes included in the picture, Diaz interestingly told that shooting them with her ex-beau made it more comfortable than it would have been with some other actor.
She told the L.A> Times, "That would have been kind of weird to do with someone I didn't know and trust. With somebody else I may not have known where it stood, but we know where it stands."

I?ve been staring at these Cameron Diaz photos for too long, trying to figure out exactly what?s going on with Camy?s supposed Akris ?jumpsuit?. At first glance, I liked it, although it seemed too heavy and too formal for the German premiere of Bad Teacher. Maybe it?s colder in Berlin now (CB should tell us)?? Bad Teacher is being sold a raunchy summer comedy, and this look doesn?t say that. Anyway, beyond the seasonal issue, I was trying to figure out if this was a true jumpsuit or if it was a separate halter and high-waisted pants. I still can?t really tell, but my guess is that it?s all one piece. Sure. It looks nice on her, and to give her credit, at least she?s not in booty shorts.
Camy has several new interviews out this weekend, and I thought this big one with the Los Angeles Times was pretty good. You can read the whole thing here, and here are some highlights.
Not wanting to sign on to Bad Teacher: “I’m trained as an actor to look for a character to be someone at the end who people like. Reading this script, I was thinking, there’s no way out of this for this girl. She does so many things that are so selfish and narcissistic and closed off. How can she be redeemed? Her disdain for life is one that I relished playing,” Diaz says. “I’m such a cheerleader, it’s kind of fun to play a character who thinks everything sucks.”
The difference between There?s Something About Mary and Bad Teacher: “Mary, the character, the movie, was sort of innocent,” Diaz said. “But Elizabeth is definitely a different kind of woman than existed in the ’90s. She’s driven in a different way. Comedy is always a reflection of what we can laugh at about ourselves. Humor is really just people telling the truth. It just depends what truth needs to be told at that time.”
Camy took a paycut to get the movie made: “Bad Teacher” was made for less than $20 million from a script by writers of NBC’s “The Office,” Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg ? a sum that would only have covered Diaz’s salary on “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” according to Forbes magazine. The actress took a drastic pay cut to get “Bad Teacher” greenlighted. The supporting cast includes Jason Segel of “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” as a gym teacher more suited to Diaz’s character than the rich guys she’s chasing; Lucy Punch of “Hot Fuzz” as Elizabeth’s goodie-goodie nemesis; and Phyllis Smith of “The Office” as a complaisant friend in awe of Elizabeth’s reckless bravado.
On the sex scene with Justin Timberlake: In what may be the year’s most awkward sex scene, Diaz and Timberlake share a fully clothed tryst in a hotel room. “The faces he made are so brave,” Diaz said of Timberlake. “What guy would ever make those faces? The noises. He was like, ‘I’m creeping myself out.’ I was like, ‘I don’t even know if I want to know what’s going on back there.’” That Timberlake and Diaz are exes in real life, the actress said, only eased the shooting process. “That would have been kind of weird to do with someone I didn’t know and trust,” she said. “With somebody else I may not have known where it stood, but we know where it stands.”
No formulaic rom-coms: “When I see romantic comedies where at the end you tie it up with the happily ever after, it makes my skin crawl because I feel like you never come to a happy ending in life,” Diaz said. “It’s always just the next progression. That’s what I liked about Elizabeth. I liked the fact that this was only one stop at the station. She didn’t make it all the way. Her growth was this increment. She got that one little inch.”

I didn?t know she took a paycut for this film. Smart girl - and if she?s as smart as I think she is (about business), she?s probably going to get a back-end percentage of the profits. But I like when big stars show enough intelligence and loyalty to a project to take crop their overblown asking price.
Meanwhile, while Camy was in Germany, she also appeared on a TV show, Wetten Dass. Those photos are below - where she?s wearing a romper, because the bitch loves her rompers and onesies. I don?t get it either, but meh. I think it was during her German press that Camy opened up about therapy, confessing that she?s been seeing a therapist for 15 years: “I’ve been doing it for 15 years and I thank God. My life would not be half as fulfilled as it is without therapy.” Okay. I didn?t know that.

Continuing along the promotional trail, Cameron Diaz was spotted at the German premiere of ?Bad Teacher? in Berlin, Germany on Friday (June 17).
The ?Sweetest Thing? actress looked ravaging in a black pant-suit with a plunging neckline as she posed for picture and greeted fans before heading inside CineStar SonyCenter movie theater.
During a recent press junket, Diaz explained a little about her life growin up. "My father wanted boys, so from a young age sports were always a big part of our lives.?
"My parents were big on common sense and they always told my sister and I that we were capable of anything and there was nothing that we couldn't do if we really wanted to. I always felt confident that I could tackle the world."

Making the most of her time in Western Europe, Cameron Diaz was spotted doing some press duties in Berlin, Germany today (June 17).
The ?Sweetest Thing? actress posed for a photo call on the roof terrace of the Adlon Hotel to promote her new film ?Bad Teacher.?
Cameron told press that she absolutely loved the idea for her character in the flick, who has a potty mouth and money-grubbing tendencies.
?I?m willing to have fun with a character. It was 1,000 per cent appealing to me. I got to play a character who was completely uncensored and she doesn?t apologize for it! She says it with no charisma and drops a stone on your head.?
She also noted that she?s been approached by women whose husbands want to have sex with her. ?I?ve been told by women I?m on their husband?s list and they wish their husband was there so they could? they say, ?He?s really handsome, you?d love him.? It?s like, ?Really? You?d want to pawn him off on me? Awesome!??

Continuing her promotional tour, Cameron Diaz was spotted at a photo call for ?Bad Teacher? in London, England today (June 16).
The ?Charlie?s Angels? chick smiled for the cameras in a black top, white trousers, black heels, and some vintage bangle bracelets.
In sharp contrast to her character in the film, Cameron told press she doesn?t consider a gig?s paycheck when deciding which movies to do.
?I have a strict rule to do everything for money only. No. I actually never have. It?s a rule of mine. Money does not motivate me at all. I?ve been really lucky to make a lot of money but I think it?s also because I really don?t care about it.?
Diaz also commented on filming the sexy carwash scene in the movie. ?It was so fun because of the absurdity of it. I didn?t want it to be like I was seriously trying to be sexy, as Cameron. I also didn?t want it to be so comedic that it was not sexy, because Elizabeth showed up to seduce fathers. There had to be seduction but in a humorous way. By the way, sliding around on a wet car is very dangerous. Do not try it.?

Taking care of some overseas promotions, Cameron Diaz was spotted plugging her new film ?Bad Teacher? in Moscow, Russia today (June 15).
The ?There?s Something About Mary? babe looked to be in good spirits as she posed for a photo call on the roof of the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
Diaz?s ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake also stars in the flick, and he told Playboy magazine that working with Cameron was drama-free.
"It sounds complicated to everybody else, but it wasn't to us. ... We don't talk to each other all the time, but we respect each other, and on some level we'll always love each other--but in our new capacity as friends. I think the world of her."

Here are some new photos of Cameron Diaz promoting Bad Teacher in Moscow, Russia today (or tomorrow? time difference?). I like the idea of this outfit more than the execution. I believe the jacket is Chanel - and it?s very cute. But paired with too-light skinny jeans and those neon pumps? it just looks so trailer park, IMO. And then there?s her face. The last promotional photo call Camy did, I thought her face was looking better, but now it?s back to looking kind of rough. Maybe it?s just bad lighting.
Does anyone else think it?s weird that Cameron has been doing an international promotional tour for Bad Teacher while there still hasn?t been an American premiere? Or any premiere? They?re really trying to build hype for the film, but they?re doing it in a weird, nontraditional way. Eh on that too.
Meanwhile, Camy?s Bad Teacher costar (and ex-boyfriend) Justin Timberlake had some nice things to say about her in his Playboy interview:
PLAYBOY: Your other big summer movie, Bad Teacher, co-stars your ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz. What were the feelings there?
TIMBERLAKE: It sounds complicated to everybody else, but it wasn?t to us. Honestly, the only thing I was worried about before I said yes to that movie was being asked that question. I knew at some point we?d have to promote the film and people would say, ?Oh my God, that?s so weird that you two dated for four years.? I don?t know what else to say except the truth, which is that we?re friends. We don?t talk to each other all the time, but we respect each other, and on some level we?ll always love each other?but in our new capacity as friends . I think the world of her. We did have one very funny scene in Bad Teacher. If you haven?t seen it, I won?t say too much about it. I?ll go out on a limb and say it is the most unique dry humping you?ll ever see in a film.

Even though the tabloids made a lot of it when Cameron and JT were actually filming Bad Teacher, I?ve been surprised how little controversy there is about the two exes during promotion. Maybe that?s because the promotional tour is so odd?
