Though she?s attained a rare level of success in Hollywood, Cameron Diaz isn?t looking to have kids and pass her legacy on.
The ?Charlie?s Angels? actress confessed to InStyle magazine for their July 2010 issue that she?d rather stay childless as she loves her life the way it is.
Cameron explained, "Having children changes your life drastically, and I really love my life. Children aren't the only things that bring you gratification and happiness, and it's easier to give life than to give love, so I don't know. That kind of change would have to be either very well thought out, or a total mistake ? a real oops!"
"I can be a pretty good aunt, but whether I'm a good aunt or a crappy aunt is really not remotely the same question as me being a good parent or a crappy parent. It doesn't quite have the same impact."

She?s always up for a good time, and last night (June 6) Cameron Diaz was in the house for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.
The ?Charlie?s Angels? babe looked to be in good spirits as she posed for the paparazzi at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
During the show, Cameron teamed up with her ?Knight and Day? costar Tom Cruise to present the Best Movie trophy to the cast of ?The Twilight Saga: New Moon.?
Ms. Diaz will be dominating the silver screen once again when ?Knight and Day? hits theaters on June 25th.

Fresh off of a long cross country flight, Cameron Diaz arrived back at the Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California on Saturday night (June 5).
Looking a little tired as she strolled through the terminal exit, the "Charlie's Angels" actress was dressed casually in blue jeans, a white blazer jacket, white scarf and sandals as she toted her travel bag in-hand.
Meanwhile, Miss Diaz's most recently released film, "Shrek Forever After," remained on top of the box office for a third-straight weekend with $25.3 million.
The weekend take raises the DreamWorks animated movie's three-week domestic total to $183 million.
Anne Globe, head of marketing for DreamWorks Animation, tells of the big numbers, "It appears that the family audience is dominating the box office right now, and families clearly want to see `Shrek.'"

She certainly radiates a youthful style, and Cameron Diaz recently dished on what she does to stay that way.
Opening up to British Vogue for its July issue, ?The Box? actress tells, "The fountain of youth [for me], let's see...I guess it's exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter, lots of sex -- yes, sex, we need that as human beings. It's healthy, it's natural, it's what we are here to do!"
On the topic of plastic surgery, Diaz says she hasn?t gone there yet, "But we'll see. So far, so good. But I'll never say never to anything."
Choosing to stay mum about rumored beau, Alex Rodriguez, Cameron responded to the love question with: "You know what? Yes I am. I'm in love with life."

Looking after her sexy form, Cameron Diaz was spotted on her way to the gym in New York City yesterday afternoon (June 1).
Before she arrived at the fitness center, the ?Charlie?s Angels? babe hit up an athletic clothing store called Lululemon for some new duds.
After her shopping stint, Cameron showed her distaste for the prying paparazzi by taking a swipe at one shutterbug with her purse.
It seems Ms. Diaz isn?t a fan of the extra attention she?s been getting as of late due to her romance with Alex Rodriguez.

Here are some okay-quality scans for Cameron Diaz?s appearance as the cover girl for Vogue UK. I?m not in love with the cover shot or the photo shoot - I think Camy looks airbrushed into oblivion, but that?s probably because I know Camy?s skin looks nothing like that. Don?t get me wrong, I think she?s a pretty girl - but on red carpets and in candid photos, you can tell she has skin problems, and it does irritate me that they airbrush her face to look flawless every time. The interview isn?t online yet, but I?ve pulled a few quotes from the scans that I thought were interesting:
Cameron on aging naturally: ?Yeah, well, hey, I?m not doing anything right now. But we?ll see. So far, so good. But I?ll never say never to anything.?
On her role in ?Bad Teacher?: ?The women I play, I usually like to take care of them? make sure they are moral people, even if they?re not doing their best. But this one? I don?t feel any responsibility for her. She doesn?t give a sh-t about anyone by herself. I?m sure we?ll offend everyone with it, which is great - because if you offend everyone, you don?t have to apologize to anyone, right??
On working with Justin Timberlake on ?Bad Teacher?: ?He plays the substitute teacher I, er, set my sights on.?
Is she in love right now? ?Oh, y?know? these are questions I can either play yes or no, and you know what? Yes, I am, I?m in love with life.?
On her father?s death in 2008: ?There was this period of terrible numbness, and it?s impossible for anyone to know what it?s like until it happens to you? No one can ever underestimate how devastating it is. But at the same time, what I?ve learnt about losing someone so close is that my life is full of his presence. I?m not kidding, I really am in love with life at the moment.?
On being child-free: ?Look, here?s what it is. You know how you have those moments of feeling dissatisfied and you think, ?What would make my life better?? Well, I?ve yet to go, ?Aha, that?s it: a child!? I?m not saying I don?t want them, but right now I see how torn up parents get when they?re away from their kids, how guilty they feel, and I don?t want that! I don?t want to feel like I ought to be missing someone, I don?t want to not do a film at a moment?s notice? But don?t get me wrong, I?m 100 percent committed when I commit to somebody or something. I?m a full-on nurturer - that?s all I do.?
On aging: ?You?ve got to be realistic. I mean, I don?t want to look 25 again. I might as well enjoy it while I?ve still got something.?
On how she stays in shape: ?No? fountain of youth? I guess it?s just exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter, lots of sex - yes, sex, we need that as human beings. It?s healthy it?s natural, it?s what we are here to do! I?m 37, I don?t need to go out and party anymore. Those years are over for me. There are nights, sure, when you order more bottles of wine than you realize and then the bill comes and you go whoa! But I don?t like waking up feeling gross. I don?t like to lose my day.?

I generally like Cameron in print interviews, she comes across pretty well. Like she?s a lot smarter than her ditzy persona, and she?s professional and focused too. Is she really as much fun as the interviewer seems to think she is? Eh. Personally, I find all of that ?live in the moment? and ?I have to be having fun all the time? stuff tedious. It?s easy to ?live in the moment? when you?ve got millions of dollars and few obligations. To her credit, though, Cameron isn?t putting herself out there as the Everywoman. She seems to know she?s got a blessed life, and that her enjoyment comes out of being a shrewd businesswoman.

Cameron Diaz has a new interview with Parade Magazine and I really like the way she says she approaches relationships: with honesty, trust and commitment. Cameron told Ellen DeGeneres in 2006, when she was dating Justin Timberlake, that she was a “commitment phobe” and didn’t want to get married. Now that she’s been dating Alex Rodriguez for a couple of months she’s all about commitment and says she’s not afraid of it. 38 year-old Diaz can even see herself getting married. Whether she’ll marry a womanizing divorced sports star with kids remains to be seen.
“I believe in happily ever after. I didn’t get it from a book; a princess didn’t act it out for me. But I definitely have a happily ever after. Somebody asked me, ‘How come you’re always so smiley?’ I’m like, ‘Duh, because I’m grateful for everything that I have.’ I’m in love with life. It puts a smile on my face and in my heart,” Diaz says.
Cameron Diaz got a kick out of making Fiona even more feisty in Shrek Forever After, which marks the conclusion of the hugely successful animated fairy tale. The green ogress, who’s raising a family with her giant hubby, is facing a struggle to keep her marriage together, but she hasn’t lost her own identity. For Diaz, that’s what is important in life.
Cameron says, “Fiona has always been about ‘this is who I am, and I’m not going to change’ ever since becoming her true Ogre self. I connected with that spirit from the very beginning because I think that’s the way to live. I’ve definitely always been strong-willed. You have to believe in yourself.”
When it comes to the opposite sex.
“I think that the rules in relationships are: no tricks, honesty, communication, treat people the way you want to be treated, unconditional love. Those are the things that I think are important. But, you know, rules are made to be broken.”
Not worried about finding long-term love.
“I am a romantic. I love romance. I’m not afraid of commitment. I commit to everything I’m doing and I am hopelessly loyal. But I hate predicting the future, I really do, because you just don’t know. I can’t even make up my mind what I’m going to do this weekend.”
Parade.com’s Jeanne Wolf found out what Diaz has in mind if she does take a walk down the aisle.
How about just eloping?
“The mystique and the romance of a big wedding are lost on me. I don’t think that I could ever do something that extravagant. I am not much of a planner. I would probably make the phone call twenty minutes before the bus leaves for the chapel and ask if anyone is available to come. That’s probably how my wedding is going to end up.”
[From Parade]
I’m not a huge Cameron Diaz fan, but I like the way she explains herself. Does A-Rod have everything to do with her change of heart or is it more down to the fact that four years have passed? A lot can change in that time. Cam has spoken openly about how she’s indifferent to whether or not she has a child, so she’s probably not clamoring to get pregnant before it’s too late. Maybe she’s really into Alex and thinks he’s the one. I’m sure Kate Hudson felt the same way.
Here’s Cameron at the Shrek Forever After premiere Sunday. She’s rocking a tight red dress and looks gorgeous.

Currently involved with Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, Cameron Diaz isn't one to hold back when it comes to relationships.
Talking to Parade, the "Shrek" sweetie said, "I am a romantic. I love romance. I'm not afraid of commitment. I commit to everything I'm doing and I am hopelessly loyal."
Continuing on about her position when it comes to weddings, Cameron dished, "The mystique and the romance of a big wedding are lost on me. I don't think that I could ever do something that extravagant. I am not much of a planner. I would probably make the phone call 20 minutes before the bus leaves for the chapel and ask if anyone is available to come. That's probably how my wedding is going to end up."
As for her take on making coupledom work, Miss Diaz insightfully told, "I think that the rules in relationships are: no tricks, honesty, communication, treat people the way you want to be treated, unconditional love. Those are the things that I think are important. But, you know, rules are made to be broken."
