I don’t get Mischa Barton. She’s certainly not fat, but she’s not very well toned and she picks out the world’s most unflattering outfits. She’s got great bone structure, but her hair’s a damn mess and she spackles her eyes like she’s a blind crack whore. I just don’t get it. Out promoting her upcoming TV show, Mischa Barton attended the CW Network celebration of its new series “The Beautiful Life” in New York City on Saturday (September 12).
Looking lovely in a colorful magenta dress, the former “OC” starlet posed for pictures before joining a guest list including the likes of Ashley Greene and AnnaLynne McCord.
Premiering on Wednesday, September 16th at 9PM on the CW, “The Beautiful Life” is a “show that revolves around a group of models living together in a co-ed residence in New York.”
Earlier in the day, Miss Barton made sue to get her fill of fashion week, as she attended the star-studded Lacoste show at the Bryant Park tents.

Taking part in the fashionable festivities, Mischa Barton was spotted out in the West Village after attending a party for New York Fashion Week on Thursday (September 10).
Currently in the Big Apple working on her new show, “The Beautiful Life,” Miss Barton also chatted with “The View” about her recent meltdown which led to a brief hospitalization.
Calling the whole fiasco “silly,” Miss Barton tells, “I mean, really it was blown out of proportion, so it’s kind of silly now to be talking about it because I’m so fine now, but it was really just a bad time for me,. It was sort of one of those things that was like a perfect storm. Everything happened at once.
Continuing on, Mischa adds, “Right, I mean, it was just ... I was overwhelmed. I had too much work going on. I had a surgery for my wisdom teeth that went really badly. I had been in the hospital. I had two surgeries on my wisdom teeth. I had four taken out and they had gotten it really badly wrong. They had to drill into my jaw and I was just in really excruciating pain.”
“I had an infection and a dry socket and I woke up on a Sunday morning and there was no doctor available. I was trying to take the minimum amount of pain killers and get through it because I had to go to work soon and I was getting ready to go do this show, The Beautiful Life, and meanwhile I still had a schedule to travel. I was going to Europe. I was going to London. I had things to do and I was prepping to do photo shoots and I was just overwhelmed. I had so much work to do and the surgery had gone so badly for me. And I think that I was just starting to feel completely overwhelmed. It was just too much to have this surgery go so wrong.”

Taking a break from her daily shooting schedule, Mischa Barton was spotted chilling out in New York City yesterday afternoon (August 31).
The “Oh in Ohio” actress looked to be having a lovely time as she chatted with some friends at Sant Ambroeus while her pooch pals relaxed beneath the outdoor table.
Following her meal, Miss Barton did some good old fashioned people watching from her vantage point on the patio while smoking a cigarette.
And when she returned to her swanky Manhattan hotel, Mischa looked very displeased to find a slew of shutterbugs awaiting her arrival.

Finishing up another work week, Mischa Barton was spotted taking a cigarette break on the set of “The Beautiful Life” today (August 28).
The “O.C.” actress enlisted the help of an umbrella to keep herself dry while her hair was in curlers as she headed to the hair and makeup trailer.
In a recent interview, Miss Barton spoke out about what led to her hospitalization last July. She just had her wisdom teeth out while abroad, and it was tough to recover. “I had to get through it without proper painkillers because I couldn’t take those during work. So it’s been a nightmare.”
“I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once.”
“The funny thing is, if all this happened in New York, no one would care. New York lets you be who you are, and people aren’t as judgmental. I’m so glad to be back here.”
