Using her celebrity for a great cause, Carrie Underwood has launched the Temporary Home fund to help with Nashville, Tennessee flood victims.
The ?Jesus, Take the Wheel? songstress has teamed up with ACM Lifting Lives to house thousands of displaced people after the recent disaster.
Underwood is set to donate the money she won from her Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year prize to the cause.
In addition, Carrie has recorded a public service announcement to run during the ?Brooks & Dunn- The Last Rodeo? program on CBS this Sunday.

Dishing on her upcoming nuptials, Carrie Underwood shared some new details with Ellen Degeneres on Wednesday (April 21).
The ?Cowboy Casanova? singer revealed that she and fiance, Mike Fisher, have set a wedding date, but "not one that we're openly talking about."
"We're trying to keep it as small as possible, but he has so many family members and all my friends are people that I work with and I love to death so we're trying to keep it as small as possible,? the country singer told Ellen.
But, unlike most girls who dream of their wedding day, Ms Underwood admitted, she has "no idea" what is happening in the preparations for her wedding to her hockey player beau because tying the not has never been a big deal for her.

She?s one of the hottest singers in the music industry, and last night (April 18) Carrie Underwood made history at the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.
The ?Jesus, Take the Wheel? songstress is the first woman to win the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy twice, and it?s not for a lack of competition.
During last night?s awards show, Carrie was up against big names like Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, the Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Toby Keith.
Upon being named, Underwood proclaimed, "I think I just got makeup all over Brad Paisley. Thank you, God, praise the Lord."

One of the evening's top nominees, Carrie Underwood was all smiles at the 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday night (April 18).
The "Before He Cheats" babe looked darling as she posing for pictures before heading inside for the swanky ceremony.
Held at the MGM Grand, the country music extravaganza is being hosted by Reba McEntire for the 12th time.
As for the nominees, Carrie , the Zac Brown Band and Miranda Lambert are up for six awards while Taylor Swift nabbed five nominations.
With both Miss Underwood and Miss Swift up for the top prize of Entertainer of the Year, the ladies will face off against fellow nominees including Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Keith Urban and the Zac Brown Band.

With wedding bells up ahead, Carrie Underwood wants to be ?just one of the wives? while watching her fianc, hockey player Mike Fisher, play for the Ottawa Senators.
The country singer says, ?I?m one lucky lady in many aspects of my life. The more I go to games, the more people are used to seeing me around and hopefully I?ll just be one of the wives.?
Meanwhile, Underwood has been busy preparing for the wedding, but hasn?t dished too many details. ?I consider myself a very traditional person. More than anything, we?re going to get married, that?s the important part. And we want everyone to have a good time, so we?re doing some things like that, that are a little bit different.?
And between each of their busy schedules, it's hard to make time for planning. ?There?s a lot going on,? the "Cowboy Casanova" songstress says. ?They are still in the season. They actually only have a few more season games left. I?m touring until the end of June, and have a few shows in July, so we?re working on it here and there. We have a few things coming along.?
