It’s rare to find mock turtlenecks, gold sequins and and a turban outside a nursing home bridge club, but that didn’t stop Victoria’s Secret model Karolina Kurkova from wearing wearing this dress to the Met?s Costume Institute Gala last night. Victoria’s Secret model Karolina Kurkova is so incredibly beautiful that you could almost forget she doesn’t have a belly button. Almost. There are two logical conclusions to draw regarding her mysterious lack of navel: 1) that her beauty was self-sustaining in utero, negating a need for a placenta and umbilical cord-assisted gestation; or 2) she was grown in a lab by an evil scientist who wants to take over the world by creating an army of supermodel assassins just like her. Yeah, my money’s on the second one, too.

Getting all prettied up before her fashionable work duties, Karolina Kurkova was busy undergoing makeup and fitting sessions backstage at Espace Ephemere Tuileries in Paris, France on Wednesday (October 6).
Once everything was just as desired, the blonde beauty made her way to the catwalk as she showed off the latest looks during the Elie Saab Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 show.
Aside from her Paris Fashion Week visit, Miss Kurkova can be seen on an all-new "America's Next Top Model" - which airs tonight at 8PM on The CW.
Asked by ET Online what made her want to talk to the show's contestants about healthy eating, Karolina replied, "I think it is important to teach a lot of these girls -- who maybe come from small towns who don't understand or have no idea how to really take care of themselves -- how to eat properly."
The 26-year-old Czech model continued, "Maybe they have misconceptions that if they eat just lettuce or drink a lot of water, they will get skinny and will look great and be more successful, which is really not the truth. It is so important to eat and eat well. You need the energy. I know myself. If I don't eat properly ? I can't just live on lettuce and water. I think people have this misunderstanding that to be a successful model and to be a size 0, that perfect size, you have to not eat or you have to eat plain and boring, which is not true."
Miss Kurkova finished by telling, "Something that I am about is I eat very organic and I am into natural fruits, healthy eating and exercise and really taking of yourself from within, more than all kinds of creams, especially when the girls showed me what they were eating and making fried Oreos every day and then wondering why their skin is so bad. Simple things like that that can make a difference. If you feel good, it is going to show."

Working her magic on the runway, Karolina Kurkova was spotted at the Gottex Spring 2011 fashion show yesterday (September 15) in New York City.
The Victoria?s Secret Angel looked absolutely fabulous as she showed off her modeling skills as part of the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week festivities.
In a recent interview, Karolina revealed the secret to her catwalk poise- she makes believe she?s an actress!
?Some designers, like John Galliano, like to gather the girls and give them a boost before they get on the runway. Like, ?Think you?re on the beach, think you are on the Riviera and there is this man that you love.? Some designers do that, and some designers keep it really cool and relaxed. It's good to have direction, if that?s the idea they have. I think of myself as an actress when I?m on the runway, I?m not just a body walking up and down.?

Always a proper choice for catwalk duties, Karolina Kurkova was hard at work at Palais de Chaillot in Paris, France on Wednesday (July 7).
Decked out in a gorgeous red gown, the Victoria's Secret bombshell happened to be strutting her stuff for the Elie Saab show as part of the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011.
Along with her Paris Fashion Week appearance, Miss Kurkova appears in the upcoming issue of V Magazine alongside Miranda Kerr and Jacquelyn Jablonski.
Looking picture perfect, Karolina was styled up for the magazine shoot by Olivier Rizzo while photos were taken by the well regarded Willy Vanderperre.

The Victoria?s Secret hottie looked to be in good spirits as she made her way through the terminal, sporting a grey scarf, black top, and jeans.
Ms. Kurkova also attended Karl Lagerfeld?s Film Presentation Party in Saint Tropez, France where she mingled with fellow celebrities.
Karolina even tried her hand at some lawn bowling, laughing with her fellow players as she struggled to master the sport.

Celebrating her special day, Karolina Kurkova hit the bowling alley for a fun-filled party at Bowlmor Lanes in New York City on Sunday evening (February 28).
The Victoria’s Secret Angel happened to be ringing in her 26th birthday, with husband Archie Drury putting together the surprise bash.
According to sources on hand, Miss Kurkova spent the night with a close group of friends as she gave her best effort to knock down the pins.
Making the night even more memorable, the sexy supermodel got a little assistance blowing out her birthday candles from her four month old son, Tobin.
