These are photos of Katie Holmes attending the Dizzy Feet Foundation’s Inaugural Celebration of Dance at The Kodak Theater in Hollywood last night. Katie wore a really cute outfit to the event. ?Cute? being relative, of course, but the look still surprises me. A short dress paired with a cute motorcycle jacket. Her color is great, she?s smiling and animated in almost every picture. There is no hint of zombie. There is also no hint of Tom Cruise. Katie went to the even solo, which I?m sure will be the main point of several tabloid stories this week.
Katie?s been involved with the Dizzy Feet Foundation since this summer, when she danced on So You Think You Can Dance? The Dizzy Feet Foundation is a nonprofit that ?provides assistance to talented underprivileged youth.? It?s a nice cause for Katie to be involved with, and you can tell she really cares about it. She cares so much she left her film in New York to fly to Hollywood for a night, just for a charity event. Of course, Katie is also a producer on her film, so she probably got people to work around her.
Katie Holmes has been hanging out with her dancing pals in Hollywood. She hit the red carpet outside of the legendary Kodak Theatre ahead of a special dance gala for the Dizzy Feet Foundation, an organisation the actress has helped found alongside So You Think You Can Dance judge Nigel Lythgoe, director Adam Shankman and Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba.
“It’s so good for kids to have this outlet and to have this opportunity,” Katie told local news channel ABC 7. “There are so many deserving kids out there that need the help, and it’s really rewarding to be a part of something that can give it to them.”
Nigel explained how they’d already awarded scholarships to underprivileged students to attend the Juilliard School, the American Ballet Theatre and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy.
“It means so much to all of us, today is going to produce scholarships for at least 10 new dancers next season, plus we’ll be able to back the nine dancers we’ve given scholarships to this season,” he said. “We’re just growing and this is our first show, it’s just so exciting at the moment.”
A host of famous dancing names came out to either their lend support or perform, including Dancing With the Stars’ Lance Bass, Lacey Schwimmer, Dmitry Chaplin, Cheryl Burke, Derek Hough and Mark Ballas. So You Think You Can Dance’s Cat Deeley was also there to give her backing, along with Nigel’s fellow dancing panel friend Mary Murphy.
DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba said she and her fellow co-founders have some clear goals they’re determined to achieve.
“Dizzy Feet is all about giving that opportunity back to future generations… We’re going to create more and more baby dancers!”

I?m sure people will criticize Katie for her solo appearance, and for wearing such a low-key outfit to the event (Entertainmentwise is already calling her ?disheveled?) but I think she looks cute as hell. She looks her age for once! I hate when she works that older, zombie-trophy-wife look. By putting on a miniskirt (sort of) and a cute jacket, she seems to be telling us ?Xenu who?? Epic.

Stepping out for a good cause, Katie Holmes was spotted arriving at the Dizzy Feet Foundation’s Inaugural Celebration of Dance in Hollywood, California on Sunday (November 29).
Working the red carpet at The Kodak Theater in a stylish ensemble, the “Dawson’s Creek” cutie happens to be a founding member of the charity along with Nigel Lythgoe, Adam Shankman and Carrie Ann Inaba.
As for the Dizzy Feet Foundation, the organization aims “to help underprivileged young people realize their dream of becoming professional dancers.”
Meanwhile, Katie’s hubby Tom Cruise continues his work overseas - as he’s been filming “Knight and Day” in Europe with Cameron Diaz.

These photos and this story make me love Katie Holmes. The photos are from the weekend, when Katie and her ?girls? went out to eat in Manhattan, and Katie had several glasses of wine. Her ?girls? are her mom, her daughter Suri, and her stepdaughter Isabella. Ten bucks says that Isabella had a few glasses of wine too. Either that, or Bella promptly called her dad after dinner to narc on her step mom. Anyhoodle, I love when Katie looks animated. Anything to get her out of her morose, robotic Xenu stupor. Now, for this story - apparently, Katie and two girlfriends went to an actual movie theater to see New Moon. And then they talked through the whole thing! Hahaha! I bet the Twihards were about to kill Katie.
She may seem shy and reserved next to larger-than-life husband Tom Cruise, but it turns out Katie Holmes doesn?t know how to keep quiet when it counts.
Eyewitnesses tell Fox411 that Katie and a group of her girlfriends stopped by a movie theater near her Manhattan apartment Saturday to catch the latest installment of the ?Twilight? series ?New Moon? where they proceeded to ruin the film for moviegoers.
?Katie came into the movie theater with two of her girlfriends in a great mood,? sources tell Fox411. ?They bought tickets in advance to see ?New Moon? like all the rest of the Twihards. They checked out the snacks and then they took their seats and kept talking.?
All that would have seemed rather normal, except for the fact that they kept on gabbing throughout the entire film!
?Katie talked through all of ?New Moon.? It was unbelievable ? they talked nonstop about the movie and everything else. Some people wanted to tell them to be quiet, but when they realized who it was, they stayed silent. No one wanted to shush Katie.?
After the chatty escapade, Katie spent the rest of the weekend with her step-daughter Isabella and daughter Suri (once again spotted in cold weather with no coat). The three girls were spotted shopping Saturday, where Katie seemed completely unaware that she ruined ?New Moon? for a few die-hard ?Twilight? fans.

Honestly, though, I hate when people talk in a theatre. It pisses me off to no end. That being said, if I went to see New Moon in the theatre, I would probably talk through it too. I would be yelling ?Sparkles!? and ?Oh, for the love of God, just do him!? So I give Katie a pass on this one. It?s good to see signs of life in her, isn?t it?

Doing her best to navigate around the set, Katie Holmes was busy working on the Long Island set of “The Romantics” on Monday (November 23).
Having a bit of a rough go of it, the “Mad Money” actress almost took a tumble as she was walking back to her trailer in her high heels - showing off a long ladder in her tights.
Meanwhile, Katie was able to fit in plenty of family time with daughters Suri and Isabella over the weekend - as the Cruise gals checked out a Broadway show and went shopping among the course of the past few days.
The balancing of work and parental duties for Miss Holmes comes as hubby Tom Cruise is overseas in Austria, filming a new movie called “Knight and Day” with Cameron Diaz.

Getting in some all-important girl time, Katie Holmes was spotted out and about in New York City with her daughter Suri and stepdaughter Isabella yesterday (November 22).
The “Mad Money” mommy looked to be enjoying the company of her girls as they headed to SoHo to shop at the Madewell store.
Looking to satisfy their appetites, all three ladies also hit up Balthazar restaurant as well as Serendipity 3 for some of their famous frozen hot chocolate.
During a recent trip to Boston, Suri reportedly saw a mink coat she wanted, and threw a tantrum when Katie wouldn’t buy it. Holmes told a pal, “She’s got a fake fur coat and she’ll have to be content with that.”

In Star Magazine?s cover story last week, we learned all about how Katie Holmes might be (and probably not) writing a tell-all book about Tom Cruise now that her ?marriage contract? is up. According to the magazine, as Katie and Tom celebrated their third wedding anniversary, Katie was growing sick with Tom?s controlling, hypocritical and crazy ways. The gem in the article was the alleged Xenumobile, the sort-of Batmobile of the Church of Scientology, in which Tom Cruise has some kind of tricked-out ride where he?s able to ?keep in touch with Scientologists all over the world. It?s padded on the inside, so that no one can hear anything on the outside. Not too many people get to see the inside of this thing.? Yeah. Here?s another funny story: Tom has a secret sweet tooth, and he hides candy in his night stand. He pretends the treats are for Suri, but they?re not.
Anyway, a little side note to the cover story was that Tom and Katie are constantly fighting about Suri and whether she?s spoiled. Er? is that really a question? Any kid who makes this face over ice cream might tend to get over stimulated. Just saying.
While sources say Tom and Katie frequently fight because he?s pressuring her to have another child, Katie is concerned that their 3-year-old daughter is getting too spoiled.
?Tom dotes on Suri,? the insider says. ?He lets her do anything she wants, from eating cupcakes for breakfast to drawing on the walls. He never says no to her.?
?Katie is worried that Suri will turn into a spoiled brat no one will want to be around,? the source continues. ?Some days, Suri won?t even let Katie touch her hair.? And the staff are too frightened of losing their jobs to stand in Suri?s way.
?If Suri wants to draw pictures on Tom mahogany paneling, she does. Tom?s already had to replace the paneling twice in six months!?

To go along with the whole ?Suri is a spoiled little demon? story, Showbiz Spy is claiming that Suri threw a tantrum because she wanted a mink coat. Now - Showbiz Spy claims this story originated in the Enquirer, but I can?t find it. I think it?s probably some vague story that probably has very little truth, but we believe it because we don?t have any problems believing Suri is a little diva:

It was recently claimed that Cruise and Holmes have so far splashed out over $3m on clothes for Suri.
?Katie and Tom really splurge on Suri, and as they?re so famous, they always get the top fashion designers to custom-make her clothes,? a source said in September this year.
?Suri may only be three, but she?s very vocal when it comes to her outfits and she?s rarely seen in anything twice.?

Allegedly, Tom and Katie have spent millions on Suri?s wardrobe, and it?s true that she rarely wears the same clothes twice, although I do think Katie?s trying to change that. When Katie and Suri are solo, it does seem like Suri is messier, more child-like, and less like a perfect little doll. Something about Tom?s influence turns Suri into a princess. Although, I have to say, it?s that way with a lot of fathers and daughters, so Tom?s not crazy just because he lets Suri get away with anything. He?s crazy because of the XenuMobile. Keeping up her daily routine, Katie Holmes was spotted picking up a caffeinated beverage from Starbucks on her way to work today (November 19).
The “Dawson’s Creek” darling looked a bit sleepy as she strolled past the paparazzi on her way to the Long Island, NY set of “The Romantics.”
Meanwhile, Katie’s husband Tom Cruise was seen across the world arriving at Salzburg Airport in Salzburg, Austria on a private jet.
Cruise is in the Western European city to continue filming his new movie “Knight and Day,” formerly set in Boston, Massachusetts.
