These are the first new photos we?ve had access to of LeAnn Rimes since just before her 30th birthday, which was also the same week that she went into rehab for Twitter. LeAnn was out and about with Eddie Cibrian and Eddie?s two sons, Jake and Mason, at the ?Batman Live? event last night in LA. LeAnn also tweeted this photo of herself, in which she?s showing off her ?inner Catwoman?.
I?ve been enjoying the LeAnn-free gossip days, haven?t you? Not that she hasn?t been making news in smaller ways ?LeAnn left her ?treatment center? one week ago, and the tabloids declared her ?post-rehab?. The whole ?treatment center? thing seems especially sketchy to me, because even when she was supposedly seeking treatment, she got to leave whenever she wanted, like for weekend concerts. I?m not trying to start a pro- or anti-LeAnn flame war, but I?m seriously questioning whether or not LeAnn was truly in some kind of ?mental health facility?. It just seems weird to me that she got to leave whenever she wanted, and that she was only ?in treatment? for? what, two weeks? Which makes me think she?s probably just chilling out in a spa. It might have been a spa with on-site therapists, thus, ?mental health facility?.
As for all of those stories about her alleged eating disorder? she looks the same to me in these photos. She might have even put on a couple of pounds?

I feel like an Old Person, but I remember when LeAnn Rimes had a cute figure. She was somewhat athletic, but she looked like she ate real meals and didn?t follow any kind of crazy dieting trends. But then she started bangin? Eddie Cibrian, and that all changed. Pretty much as soon as they got together, LeAnn began to lose weight, not counting the extra heft of her bolt-ons, done by the same plastic surgeon that did Brandi Glanville?s, apparently. Anyway, with LeAnn now in some kind of rehab/mental health facility/spa (does anyone know for sure?), Star Magazine is asking if LeAnn is perhaps seeking treatment for an eating disorder rather than? “rehab for Twitter”, or whatever. Star Mag actually isn?t asking so much as their claiming that LeAnn is anorexic and bulimic and that Eddie is to blame for a big part of it:
LeAnn Rimes claims she checked into a rehab center last month to deal with ?anxiety and stress.? But those close to her tell Star that the Grammy winner?s eating disorder is becoming a medical emergency ? and that?s the real reason she?s seeking help.
?LeAnn?s friends are convinced it could kill her,? a source says. ?She?s abusing laxatives and constantly forcing herself to throw up after eating.?
Though Eddie Cibrian has expressed his support for her decision to get treatment, he may deserve some of the blame for what?s happening: 30-year-old LeAnn?s weight obsession reportedly began when she got together with him.
The insider notes: ?She says that Eddie loves skinny women and would never be with a woman who wasn?t tiny.?
A waitress at Hugo?s restaurant in Agoura Hills, CA who served LeAnn recently agrees that LeAnn has a problem: ?She ordered nothing but steamed peas for dinner.? And yet, in the ladies? room later, LeAnn purged even the veggies from her system.
?I heard her throw up,? says the waitress. ?She came out and cried, explaining she had to do it ? otherwise she couldn?t eat dessert with Eddie and still stay skinny.?

Ugh, that Eddie stuff made me particularly ill. I think many men have a physical ?type? that they look for in women ? some men always go for brunettes, some men always go for blondes, some men always go for big boobs, and on and on. (By the way, I?ve known men who always go for the same personality types too ? some men love crazy, some men love type-A, some men love Little Lost Girls.) I?ve known men who always go for very slender, very petite, boyish-looking women too. But that?s my point ? they look for their type and go for it. They don?t find a woman who isn?t really their type and try to body-shame her into having an eating disorder so she can ?become? his type. Of course, it?s not like LeAnn gave him much of a choice ? she was determined to have Eddie, and she ?won? him. And so this is the life she?s carved for herself. If any of this is true, which? I mean, yeah. ALLEGEDLY. All of this is very ?alleged?.

Isn?t LeAnn Rimes supposed to be on lockdown in some mental health facility right now? Why is she giving yet another interview to People Magazine? Don?t answer that. I already know why. So, as I?m sure you?ve heard/discussed/obsessed over, LeAnn is seeking treatment for her mental health issues, which so far as anyone can determine basically boils down to ?LeAnn is addicted to Twitter? and ?LeAnn has issues with the First Amendment.? But LeAnn tells People Mag that it goes deeper than that. LeAnn thinks that her mental health issues are because she?s so selfless and she doesn?t spend enough time taking care of herself. OMG.
After just a week in treatment for anxiety and stress, LeAnn Rimes is making strides in tackling her emotional issues.
“She’s already feeling better, stronger,” a friend of the country star tells PEOPLE in its new issue.
Rimes voluntarily entered an undisclosed facility the day after her 30th birthday “to learn and develop coping mechanisms,” her rep confirmed last week.
“I’m happy and healthy. I just want to be happier and healthier more consistently,” Rimes told PEOPLE before she checked into treatment. “I don’t want to wake up and not truly be enjoying my life and these amazing things around me.”
Rimes ? who is married to actor Eddie Cibrian and has been gearing up for the release of her latest studio album Spitfire ? is expected to temporarily leave treatment for a trio of long-planned Midwest concert dates this weekend before returning to the 30-day program.
Since she launched her career as a child, “I’ve been built up and torn down, built up and torn down,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s been difficult to tune people out, especially in the last few years.?
“Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I see a child then I look and see a woman who should be turning 60,” she said. “I’ve always taken care of anyone else, and I think I’ve buried some issues for a long time.”
She says that “Now, I’m starting to care more about me and not what anyone else thinks.”

LeAnn Rimes checked into a ?treatment facility? after a cheating secret threatened to destroy her marriage! The 30-year-old country singer sought treatment for stress and anxiety when she learned that her husband Eddie Cibrian was still in touch with a former lover, sources say.
Cibrian cheated on his first wife, ?Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? star Brandi Glanville, with bit-part actress Scheana Marie ? and the two women had an ugly confrontation on the Bravo series. While the 39-year-old actor has cooled things with Scheana, 27, the former ?CSI: Miami? star never lost contact with her, sources say.
?Their affair is definitely over, but Eddie still has feelings for Scheana, and she?s tight with his good friends,? revealed an insider. ?Eddie is very careful when he communicates with her. He uses a member of their inner circle as an intermediary, or texts and calls from friends? phones. But someone told LeAnn, and she freaked out.?
Another close source told The ENQUIRER: ?I think LeAnn feels very threatened by this girl. She went so far as to block Scheana on Twitter.?
The Grammy winner fell for Cibrian when they were both still married, and pals believe she?s suspected him of cheating for awhile.
?LeAnn called a friend a few weeks ago sobbing hysterically about Eddie going out,? divulged the insider. ?She was home for the weekend and he didn?t stay in with her. She was crying, saying that she was so worried about what he was doing. I think Eddie feels trapped. He probably just married LeAnn for the money, and there are only so many vacations you can take before you get bored with someone.?
Eddie?s cheating ruined his first marriage to Brandi, and she had a chance to confront one of her rivals, Scheana, while at the West Hollywood restaurant SUR with her ?Housewives? co-stars.
?Brandi recognized Scheana ? who was working there as a waitress ? and straight out said to her, ?You used to sleep with my ex-husband!?? recalled a pal of Brandi. ?Amazingly, Scheana didn?t even deny it. Later on, Brandi told her friends, ?I really do feel sorry for LeAnn. Eddie will never change ? once a cheater, always a cheater.??
Meanwhile, LeAnn?s official story about going into the ?treatment facility? is that she sought help after being ?cyber-bullied? by two women on Twitter.
?She?s even filed an invasion of privacy lawsuit against them, claiming they illegally recorded a phone conversation with her and posted snippets online,? said the source.
?While LeAnn may have been upset over the Twitter postings, the truth is that she had a meltdown when she found out Eddie was still talking to his former mistress.?

We covered the Scheana Marie situation back when it began to unravel, in 2009. Scheana gave interviews (which I believed) claiming to be Eddie?s mistress when he was still married to Brandi Glanville, and then she reappeared in the tabloids, seeming to claim that she and Eddie were still fooling around when Eddie and Brandi were over and he was seeing LeAnn. You can read out archives here ? she used to date John Mayer too, so I hope that tells you something. Would Eddie be dumb enough to still be in contact with his (alleged!) ex-mistress? Er. Mm. Huh.

After merely a week in treatment for anxiety and stress, LeAnn Rimes is already making progress.
A friend of the 30-year-old country crooner tells PEOPLE, "She's already feeling better, stronger."
Hopefully, those feelings persist through a planned break in treatment to perform at several Midwest concerts.
Afterwards, LeAnn will return to the 30-day program which she voluntarily entered to "learn and develop coping mechanisms," according to her representative.
Prior to checking in, she told PEOPLE, "I'm happy and healthy. I just want to be happier and healthier more consistently. I don't want to wake up and not truly be enjoying my life and these amazing things around me."
Hinting at her struggles, she revealed, "I've been built up and torn down, built up and torn down. It's been difficult to tune people out, especially in the last few years."

I was just thinking this morning that I was surprised by the lack of LeAnn Rimes drama over the holiday weekend. I actually thought, ?Wow, I can?t believe no one involved in the whole LeAnn drama chose to make Labor Day their own personal Stunt Queen Day.? I was wrong! First, let?s recap the epic-ness of everything that went down last week: LeAnn went into a facility for her emotional problems, LeAnn is filing a lawsuit against her ?Twitter hater? Kim Smiley, and LeAnn facing down reports that she?s been worried about Eddie Cibrian?s wandering dong. That about sums it up for me ? LeAnn went to a 30-day treatment center (minus weekends, which just makes it sound like a spa) because of Twitter, and because in her mind, she?s being cyberbullied.
Anyway, this new story is about the Kim Smiley lawsuit – Radar reports that a process server tried to serve Kim Smiley, but the server ended up at the wrong address. The whole thing was made worse by the fact that *SOMEONE* called the photographers.
A process server working for LeAnn Rimes? team committed an embarrassing public gaffe on Monday when he attempted to serve the wrong woman with legal papers, RadarOnine.com has learned exclusively.
Rimes, who is in a 30-day treatment center for ?anxiety,? filed an invasion of privacy lawsuit against high school teacher Kim Smiley last week. The lawsuit alleges that Smiley recorded a phone conversation after Rimes called her following more than a year of clashes between pro- and anti-LeAnn forces. Smiley, a mother of six, has vowed to fight back.
On Labor Day events took an even more bizarre turn. A process server, allegedly accompanied by members of the media, showed up to serve Kim Smiley with legal documents late in the day. The only problem: they were at the home of Kim Smiley, the sister-in-law to the Kim Smiley named in the lawsuit!
?My sister-in -aw told them they had the wrong Kim and they wouldn?t believe her,? the correct Kim Smiley told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. ?They wouldn?t leave her alone. I heard the process server was banging on the door and looking over the fence. They were having a party and my sister-in-law was so upset she took her kids and ran to the clubhouse (in the development where they live).?
?My brother was playing golf. He came back and he was angry. He told them not to show up ever again. My sister-in-law had told them it was the wrong Kim but they wouldn?t believe her.?
And another source told RadarOnline.com that the process server demanded the correct Kim Smiley?s address, which is more than an hour away from where LeAnn?s legal rep descended.
Now one major question is, did someone on LeAnn?s team tip off the media that Kim Smiley was going to be served? One person on LeAnn?s team denied knowledge of the entire situation.
But Kim told Radar: ?The media called my sister-in-law?s house in advance, saying they were going to show up. That?s what I was told. When my sister-in-law told them they had the wrong Kim they just kept going. They thought she was lying. They didn?t believe her.?
Another source close to the situation told Radar: ?If this was a public relations stunt, it was a bad one. And it sure went wrong for LeAnn.?

Eh. While I think there?s an element of stunt-queen-theatrics to this ? especially the part about the photographers ? I also think that there are some process servers out there who act like damn bounty hunters. Obviously, many servers only get paid for serving the correct papers to the correct people, but there?s really no excuse for the actions of this guy. My point? You can?t blame all of it on LeAnn. The process server seems douchey, for sure, but that?s on him. As for the photographers waiting for the photo op ? well of course it?s not like LeAnn Rimes has a history of calling the paparazzi for photo ops and accidentally giving them the wrong time or address, right?
Meanwhile, Kim Smiley told Radar that she?s planning to countersue LeAnn, saying: ?I plan to take my own action against her. This could impact my family and business. Somebody needs to stand up or LeAnn will continue doing this for the rest of her life. I have a right to my opinion. I have never bullied her. She blocked me on Twitter and then I took my account private, so how can I bully her if I?m blocked AND have a private account? It makes no sense. LeAnn Rimes is fighting back against two women who released a phone conversation that Rimes allegedly participated in.
A lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday (August 30), alleges that two women "conspired to spitefully ensure that out-of-context excerpts of that recording would be disseminated to the public."
California law prohibits the taping of a phone call without both parties consent; regarding the lawsuit, Rimes's attorney said, "There has been this cyber-bullying that has been going on for a considerable period of time. These women have been merciless ? vitriolic in their attacks ? Rimes didn't like it, but she hoped things would get better."
The 30 year-old country singer had voluntarily entered a treatment facility "cope with anxiety and stress" on Wednesday (August 29), leading at least one individual close to Miss Rimes to tell People Magazine, "The events described in the lawsuit are a part of, but certainly not the only reason LeAnn has sought treatment."

Let?s discuss all of this LeAnn Rimes stuff in one post, if that?s okay. There?s no need ? in my mind ? to draw it out and have a million posts devoted to this unfolding controversy. To recap, LeAnn Rimes announced yesterday morning that she was seeking treatment for anxiety and stress. Later Thursday, Team LeAnn began the steady stream of leaks to explain WHY she was so anxious and stressed – she was being cyberbullied? And then everything started pouring out to TMZ. First, TMZ published a story that came straight from LeAnn’s lawyer, in which LeAnn was ?gearing up to sue the scumbags behind the illegal activity.? The illegal activity is the recording of LeAnn’s phone call to Kimberly Smiley – a call which LeAnn’s lawyer admits LeAnn initiated. TMZ and LeAnn’s lawyer claimed that LeAnn had been ?victimized by a gang of cyber-bullies who have been terrorizing her on Twitter ever since she hooked up with Eddie Cibrian. Stein says LeAnn recently spoke to one of the bullies on the phone … but unbeknownst to her, the bully recorded the convo … and spread bits and pieces of the recording around the Internet.?
Then, just a few hours later, TMZ had the documents from the civil suit that LeAnn filed – you can see them here. LeAnn filed suit for invasion of privacy against Kimberly Smiley and Lexi Smiley claiming that they are “supporters of Brandi Glanville” who “illegally taped a conversation with her and then spread it across the Internet.” It’s interesting that this site, Celebitchy, is named in the suit too. The relevant portion:
“Shortly thereafter, blogs such as Celebitchy.com and CrazyDaysandnights.net began posting and linking to the portions of the Unauthorized Recording… Stories accompanying posts quoted some misleading out-of-context excerpts of the Unauthorized Recording and otherwise misdescribed what occurred in the conversation. They also painted Ms. Rimes in an extremely false and negative light, saying, for example, that Ms. Rimes is “crazy and delusional” and that Ms. Rimes called Ms. Smiley to “defend herself” rather than attempt to amicably end Kimberly Smiley’s harassment of her. Defendants and others commented on these stories about the Unauthorized Recording, adding even more false and harassing statements about Ms. Rimes.”
The suit further claims that LeAnn only called Smiley “in an attempt to stop the negative Internet activity…LeAnn says she attempted to be kind and said she wanted peace.” As for the specific shout-out to Celebitchy… I?m not sure what to say. I?ve always maintained that the trolling of LeAnn Rimes by some of you (not all, but some) makes me uncomfortable. There?s a difference between laughing at this from the sidelines and actively engaging her in an attempt to make her look worse.
Here are some other LeAnn stories, in no particular order:
*Radar reports that LeAnn might be in the midst of some kind of breakdown because she suspected that Eddie was fooling around on her. A source told Radar, ?LeAnn called a friend of hers a few weeks ago sobbing hysterically about Eddie going out. She was home for the weekend and he didn?t stay in with her and she was crying saying that she was so worried about what he was doing when he wasn?t with her. LeAnn is beyond stressed about the cracks in her relationship with Eddie and she has been really scared that he is cheating on her.”
*For what it?s worth, Gossip Cop tries to deny the Radar story about Eddie?s wandering dong. Eddie?s rep said, ?There is absolutely no truth to that story whatsoever.? And an unnamed source told Gossip Cop that LeAnn seriously just went to get treatment for her anxiety.
*LeAnn?s people went to TMZ to reiterate the story that she actually is seeking help for mental health issues, and she?s definitely not in a rehab facility to deal with a drug or alcohol addiction, or an eating disorder. TMZ?s sources say that LeAnn is getting help with ?a severe inability to cope with anxiety and stress.? TMZ also plays the poor-LeAnn card, saying that LeAnn has been in ?meltdown mode? over ?a war she’s been having with a group of people who are upset about her relationship with Eddie Cibrian. The group has gone after her in a big way on Twitter, and LeAnn — rather than ignoring them — has fought back. We’re told the stress has been unbearable for her and she wanted help.?
*In this facility, LeAnn will be going home on weekends, and she?s allowed to make phone calls. She will be ?going home? this weekend. I hope Eddie packs up his girls by then!
*A source tells Us Weekly that LeAnn ?has a lot of mental anguish over how she is perceived? [She has] this constant feeling of being punished for something. She feels like society has never forgiven her. She has this overwhelming need to be loved and respected.” As her music career failed, “she became focused on being a celebrity. She’s incredibly hard on herself, but she doesn?t realize the decisions she has made.” So, she acts neurotic because she’s so worried that people are calling her crazy.
*Brandi Glanville has issued a statement about LeAnn entering a treatment facility. Brandi?s statement: “I totally support LeAnn’s decision to enter rehab — my top priority is my children, and at the end of the day we are a family. LeAnn is their stepmom, and they love her. I am wishing her all the best and I hope she will find what she is looking for while in rehab.” Classy.
*Radar reports that Eddie wanted LeAnn off of Twitter. He hoped that she would eventually wean herself off ?over-sharing about Eddie’s kids, posting countless bikini pics, interacting with fans on the site, and even gets into fights with followers.? A source told Radar, ?Eddie hates Twitter and doesn?t want LeAnn to be on there and writing so much. He would ask her to not meet people through Twitter and wanted her to get off of there. He thought she was out of control and not able to handle what she was doing.?

LeAnn Rimes made sure to let the media know that she had just checked herself into rehab to deal with the “anxiety and stress” issues in her life. Somewhere, Amy Winehouse just rolled her eyes and snorted with disgust. People Magazine says:
“LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress,” her rep Marcel Parisea [said].
“While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”
Though Rimes has been the victim of body bullying in the past, her rep confirms she is not seeking treatment for an eating disorder or substance abuse.
“This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be,” LeAnn said.
Well, I’m glad to see she’s finally taking a little time for herself. Who KNOWS how long it’s been since she’s done that. Between all the vacations and tweeting and having her likeness made in fondant, life can really get overwhelming sometimes.

Okay, maybe not necessarily rehab but a 30 day in-patient treatment facility that will help her deal with anxiety and stress. Her rep told PEOPLE,”While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”
LeAnn checked in a day after the 30th birthday.”This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be.”
Supposedly this has nothing to do with an alleged eating disorder or substance abuse. She’s just… stressed. That’s why she’s checking into a 30-day program. Which makes complete sense and isn’t weird at all.
