I don?t know if LeAnn Rimes is a sociopath. I don?t know if LeAnn has a ?severe eating disorder? and she pops laxatives like candy. But I do know that Brandi Glanville believes those things, and I know that Brandi is feeling particularly scorched-earth these days. Brandi is no longer paying lip service to the happy, well-managed blended family that no one ever believed was real anyway. First Brandi gave an interview to HuffPo calling LeAnn a sociopath and claiming LeAnn ?endangered? Brandi?s sons Mason and Jake. Then Brandi followed that up with a balls-out exclusive interview with Us Weekly in which she called out LeAnn on many, many different topics.
So, what has the response been so far? Denials. Hysterical, nonsensical denials. LeAnn?s rep issued a statement to E! News that made me roll my eyes until they nearly fell out:
“Her whole show is based on controversy, drama and publicity,” Rimes’ rep Marcel Periseau said in a statement to E! News of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills player. “She is the only one to gain by spewing forth inaccuracies, rants and half-truths. It’s time for people to see it for what this really is…What better way to keep herself relevant?”
Glanville, meanwhile, tells E! News that the story she gave to Us Weekly regarding her concerns about Rimes’ parenting skills?including the laxative claim?is “all true.”
“Why is all the name calling just coming from one side?” Periseau continued. “Brandi keeps using threatening and mean-spirited statements like ‘I think she is a sociopath,’ ‘I don’t hate her I feel sorry for her but if she hurts my kids I will cut a b–ch or probably something worse,’ ‘I wanted to kill her,’ etc. and all LeAnn says is ‘my boys,’ ‘my family’ etc. Are LeAnn’s words threatening or mean-spirited? I beg to differ. LeAnn and Eddie have the boys 50 percent of the time, so they are a family and LeAnn is a great and caring co-parent. As Brandi stated ‘my boys love her’ and LeAnn loves them.?
“Brandi keeps grasping at straws to make LeAnn seem like an unfit person. Brandi’s story changes daily, one day it’s an eating disorder, one day it’s Twitter, one day the boys aren’t safe, etc. She says she hasn’t seen or spoken to LeAnn in months but yet knows everything that is going on. None of Brandi’s allegations are true. People need to see it for what it is?PUBLICITY! It’s time for Brandi to move on,” he concluded. “LeAnn has!”

That was the most unprofessional-sounding denial I think I?ve ever read from a PR professional. Right? PR mistakes: don?t substantively restate your opponent?s case; don?t overestimate your client?s popularity or celebrity, or mistake ?infamy? for celebrity; don?t fail to make a rudimentary attempt at a logical explanation. I mean, when the dude is listing all of the ?name-calling? he acts like all of those things could not be true at one time. They could be true at one time. And they probably are all true right now. Meanwhile, Eddie Cibrian has publicly released an email he sent to Brandi Glanville, so we?ll know that Brandi was totes lying when she said that she doesn?t communicate with her ex-husband. This is so ridiculous and funny.
Wowsa! There’s no doubt whose side Eddie Cibrian is firmly on! After a brief period of relative peace, the actor’s ex and current wife are embroiled in a bitter war of words once again, with name calling and accusations flying thick and fast ? but Cibrian is not afraid to step straight into the war zone, and make it clear who he is backing ? sharing with RadarOnline.com exclusively a scathing email he fired off to Brandi Glanville.
Brandi claimed that the only way she can get any kind of response from Cibrian is to post a rant on Twitter, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively obtained email evidence to the contrary? Eddie is calling bull on Brandi’s claim, passing on to Radar the email he sent to his ex-wife on December 2, in its entirety.
“I know your life exists solely for the purpose of living and creating drama,” Eddie wrote. “It’s a sad way to live. It’s so obvious that you have to constantly mention my wife so people will care what comes out of your mouth. One day when wine and narcissism are not consuming you, you will realize how fortunate the kids are to have LeAnn in their life. She is amazing with them, as the kids will 100 percent attest to. You should be so lucky to one day find someone who will love and respect Mason and Jake as she does. Although, I really don’t know how anyone can put up with your constant bullsh-t. No wonder you have lost so many ‘close’ friends.

Much like ?Eddie?s statement? to Us Weekly yesterday, I feel LeAnn?s presence in this email. She might not have typed it up herself, but she was definitely in the room while it was being written. I feel her energy. Incidentally, is anyone else seriously perturbed by the repeated statements that Brandi should consider herself ?lucky? that LeAnn is there for Mason and Jake, and that the boys are ?lucky? to have LeAnn as a ?bonus mom?? That really bugs me. First of all, it feels like a threat, like, ?Well, LeAnn is here IN CASE SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU. Aren?t we lucky?? And secondly, it?s just further evidence of how LeAnn?s narcissism permeates every single thing ever. It can?t be about the boys, it?s about how the boys are LUCKY to have LeAnn. It can?t be about Brandi?s (legit, IMO) concerns about how her sons are being co-parented, it?s about how Brandi should feel LUCKY that someone so amazing (LeAnn) is now married to Brandi?s ex-husband. It?s all about The LeAnn Show.
Also: ?I know your life exists solely for the purpose of living and creating drama? ? people who live in glass Twitter palaces shouldn?t throw drama stones.

I could analyze this photo for days! LeAnn posted this lovey-dovey (?) pic on her Twitter, of course, yesterday for Thanksgiving. I give thinks to LeAnn all the time. She brings me so much joy and frustration and she?s such a huge cautionary tale. She posted this photo with the caption, ?Happy Thanksgiving from the Cibrian’s.? Shouldn?t it be ?Cibrians? with no apostrophe? And isn?t LeAnn a ?Rimes-Cibrian?? Whatever. There?s so much other stuff to nitpick!
Why is her hair so dark now? Is she aiming for Brandi Glanville?s shade of honey-brunette with lighter highlights? Why does Eddie have that mustache? Is it something about Movember? Or is it ? along with Eddie?s lack of a normal shaving schedule ? evidence that Eddie no longer cares about grooming? And finally, why did LeAnn position herself so much higher than Eddie? Is this like some kind of animal kingdom stuff? LeAnn is like, ?I?m the Alpha, I am literally the Top Dog.? Last questions: did LeAnn post this ?happy couple? photo as a way to reject or deny that Radar/Star Magazine story from a few days ago? Is LeAnn still checking all of the media outlets on an hourly basis for any stories about herself?
Also: I don?t know if LeAnn and Eddie had the kids for the holiday, but I?m assuming they didn?t because if Mason and Jake were spending the holiday with their dad and ?bonus mom,? I?m sure their bonus mom would have tweeted a bunch of photos of them. I?m just sayin?.

I was hoping that LeAnn Rimes would be at last night’s CMA Awards, but… she wasn’t? I can’t find any photos of her, and no one is mentioning LeAnn in their coverage of the CMAs, so I guess she wasn’t there. Too bad! So enjoy these photos of LeAnn from a week ago in NYC that I never got around to publishing.
The only thing shocking about this Star Magazine story about LeAnn is that someone should have written it a month ago, and there should have been some kind of significant follow-up from some legit entertainment outlets. In September, LeAnn announced that she was entering a ?mental health treatment facility? to deal with her ?stress and anxiety issues?. Fair enough ? I don?t think anyone is really going to argue with the idea that LeAnn does NOT have some mental health issues, although we can quibble about the exact nature. The problem was that LeAnn claimed that she was seeking a 30-day treatment? but that she would be taking the weekends ?off? from treatment to fulfill some tour dates. And then she kept giving all of these woe-is-me interviews to People and other outlets while she was supposedly seeking treatment, and then BAM, she was out of the ?mental health facility? a few weeks earlier than scheduled. So what was it all about?
Alcohol? Drugs? An eating disorder? LeAnn Rimes didn?t cite any of the usual Hollywood reasons for why she entered a 30-day treatment facility. That has lit up the rumor mill on the Internet, with some suggesting that the singer invented the entire thing as a twisted publicity stunt to garner public sympathy. While her reps strongly deny that?s the case, there is little evidence she ever went anywhere.
LeAnn has endured years of bad press, thanks to her affair with then married Eddie Cibrian, followed by a very public feud with his ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, and frequent tirades against Twitter users. And her career hasn?t? fared much better.
?She barely gets invited to anything anymore ? not even the CMAs!? says an industry insider. ?The country world disowned her, then her label dropped her.?
Instead of writing new songs, some are whispering LeAnn chose rehab as the easiest way to revive her career, believing that people would take her side out of pity.
?She says she?s a victim, but a victim of what?? snipes the source. Still, LeAnn maintains that her issues are real.

When Katie Couric interviewed LeAnn, it became clear that Couric had no real desire to try to pin LeAnn down on the details of this alleged mental health treatment, but I would have loved to see someone ? ANYONE ? ask LeAnn the direct questions: ?Which mental health facility did you enter? Why did you say you were going for 30 days, yet you were done in less than 3 weeks, with weekends off? What kind of treatment did you receive?? And before you say that it?s none of my business? yeah, LeAnn has made it pretty clear that it is our business. She?s been on a ?post-treatment? publicity binge and openly discussing her epic mental health problems because she wants us all to see her a victim. But she’s not providing any details because they don’t seem to back up her story.

LeAnn Rimes was ?Sandy? from Grease, just like Gwen Stefani. I don?t really get why everyone is like ?Hey, that frankenstorm was named Sandy, like Sandy from Grease! That?s a good Halloween costume idea!? I can?t tell if they?re being topical and/or insensitive (I mean, people literally died during Hurricane Sandy) or if it?s just dumb and quite dated (I mean, Grease? Really?).
Anyway, Eddie Cibrian dressed up as Danny from Grease of course and LeAnn went old-school and tweeted a punch of photos of herself. It feels like old times! LeAnn even tweeted photos of ?her boys? ? the boys were dressed up as Indiana Jones and a Navy Seal. I have to admit, that Indiana Jones costume is the bomb.
I like that LeAnn hung a sign that said ?Insane Asylum? on her front door. Because that?s not insensitive to her own significant mental health issues, right? People must have looked at that and gone, ?Oh? ha? ha? a joke??? LeAnn tweeted a bunch of pics of her BFF Lizzy too. Is Lizzy the one that some of you think is fooling around with Eddie? Lizzy does look like his type.

Stepping out into the brisk fall air, LeAnn Rimes was spotted leaving her New York City hotel this afternoon (October 26).
The 30-year-old country crooner rocked a pair of tight jeans with a red leather jacket as she headed to her Big Apple lunch.
Once she arrived at her destination, the blonde cutie shared, "My favorite Italian restaurant Babbo is open for lunch. This I did not know til now :)"
Miss Rimes is already getting into the holiday spirit and is beginning to make plans for Halloween.
This afternoon, the ?Coyote Ugly? star tweeted, ?I'm so ready for Halloween & Trick-or-Treating!?

In this post, I?m including some older photos of LeAnn (like, a month old), plus her two most recent Twitter self-portraits, one of which was taken over the weekend. LeAnn tweeted the photo of her blown-out hair just before she was interviewed by Katie Couric. Yes, you heard me. Katie Couric is LeAnn?s latest enabler. LeAnn first tweeted: ?Picking out my outfit for my interview with Katie Couric tonight. So sweet of her to come to LA because I couldn’t make NYC this week.? Because LeAnn was ?sick?. Of course. Wearing super skinny red jeans, no make-up and with her hair messily pulled into a pony tail, LeAnn Rimes checked into the Four Seasons at Beverly Hills for her one-on-one with Katie Couric on Saturday.
The singer had a lot to talk about with the talk show host. Her recent stint in a treatment center where she sought help for “stress anxiety” is probably tops on the list, along with her weight, her near-obsession with Twitter, the state of her marriage and her feud with her husband’s ex-wife.
As RadarOnline.com reported, LeAnn had convinced herself Eddie was cheating this summer before she checked into treatment. And Twitter is at the heart of a lawsuit the singer’s filed against a school teacher who Rimes claimed defamed her on the social networking site.
It’s something that has reportedly always caused a strain in her relationship with Cibrian, who was recently spotted without his wedding ring.
While his rep told us Eddie left his ring behind because he’d gone to the gym to box — and “who wears their ring at the gym?” — he and LeAnn haven’t been photographed together in almost four weeks.

Yes, the last time LeAnn and Eddie were photographed together, it was September 27th. That?s not conclusive proof or anything ? after all, LeAnn is still tweeting constantly about her marriage and about Eddie. The Mail?s sources also say that part of LeAnn?s ?issues? are about Eddie too: ?LeAnn has had major insecurity issues since she first got together with Eddie. She’s been stressed about always being called a home-wrecker and also worried that Eddie is cheating on her. She’s been on a downward spiral.?
You know what I think is interesting? LeAnn basically went to ?rehab? (?a spa?) for Twitter, AND she now has a paid-access-only website for her truly dedicated fans? so why is she still tweeting so much? Maybe Brandi Glanville is right (!) ? Grabbing some Halloween goodies, LeAnn Rimes was spotted prepping for the spooky holiday by shopping at Maddy's Market in Malibu, CA on Tuesday (October 9.)
Getting into the fall spirit, the chic country star sported a red sweater, black mini-skirt and oxford boots as she exited the store.
Due to an infection, Rimes had rescheduled a performance set for Friday night.
Nevertheless, despite her recent visit to the ER early Sunday morning, she was in good spirits today during her trip to pick up treats.

Celebrating the culture and history of the American West, LeAnn Rimes attended the Autry National Center "Kick It Off & Kick It Up" 25th Anniversary Gala and V.I.P. reception at The Autry National Center in Los Angeles on Saturday (October 6).
The country crooner looked fresh-faced in a cream-colored, sleeveless dress and matching platform heels, smiling for photographers before performing with the L.A. Children's Chorus.
Her polished appearance left no indication that she was in anything but tip-top health, but just the day before she had to reschedule a concert in Wendover, Nevada.
On Saturday, she tweeted, "Worst way ever to kick off a tour... under anesthesia and a massive infection. Well, onward and upward. It can only get better from here!!!?

These are the first new photos we?ve had access to of LeAnn Rimes since just before her 30th birthday, which was also the same week that she went into rehab for Twitter. LeAnn was out and about with Eddie Cibrian and Eddie?s two sons, Jake and Mason, at the ?Batman Live? event last night in LA. LeAnn also tweeted this photo of herself, in which she?s showing off her ?inner Catwoman?.
I?ve been enjoying the LeAnn-free gossip days, haven?t you? Not that she hasn?t been making news in smaller ways ?LeAnn left her ?treatment center? one week ago, and the tabloids declared her ?post-rehab?. The whole ?treatment center? thing seems especially sketchy to me, because even when she was supposedly seeking treatment, she got to leave whenever she wanted, like for weekend concerts. I?m not trying to start a pro- or anti-LeAnn flame war, but I?m seriously questioning whether or not LeAnn was truly in some kind of ?mental health facility?. It just seems weird to me that she got to leave whenever she wanted, and that she was only ?in treatment? for? what, two weeks? Which makes me think she?s probably just chilling out in a spa. It might have been a spa with on-site therapists, thus, ?mental health facility?.
As for all of those stories about her alleged eating disorder? she looks the same to me in these photos. She might have even put on a couple of pounds?

I feel like an Old Person, but I remember when LeAnn Rimes had a cute figure. She was somewhat athletic, but she looked like she ate real meals and didn?t follow any kind of crazy dieting trends. But then she started bangin? Eddie Cibrian, and that all changed. Pretty much as soon as they got together, LeAnn began to lose weight, not counting the extra heft of her bolt-ons, done by the same plastic surgeon that did Brandi Glanville?s, apparently. Anyway, with LeAnn now in some kind of rehab/mental health facility/spa (does anyone know for sure?), Star Magazine is asking if LeAnn is perhaps seeking treatment for an eating disorder rather than? “rehab for Twitter”, or whatever. Star Mag actually isn?t asking so much as their claiming that LeAnn is anorexic and bulimic and that Eddie is to blame for a big part of it:
LeAnn Rimes claims she checked into a rehab center last month to deal with ?anxiety and stress.? But those close to her tell Star that the Grammy winner?s eating disorder is becoming a medical emergency ? and that?s the real reason she?s seeking help.
?LeAnn?s friends are convinced it could kill her,? a source says. ?She?s abusing laxatives and constantly forcing herself to throw up after eating.?
Though Eddie Cibrian has expressed his support for her decision to get treatment, he may deserve some of the blame for what?s happening: 30-year-old LeAnn?s weight obsession reportedly began when she got together with him.
The insider notes: ?She says that Eddie loves skinny women and would never be with a woman who wasn?t tiny.?
A waitress at Hugo?s restaurant in Agoura Hills, CA who served LeAnn recently agrees that LeAnn has a problem: ?She ordered nothing but steamed peas for dinner.? And yet, in the ladies? room later, LeAnn purged even the veggies from her system.
?I heard her throw up,? says the waitress. ?She came out and cried, explaining she had to do it ? otherwise she couldn?t eat dessert with Eddie and still stay skinny.?

Ugh, that Eddie stuff made me particularly ill. I think many men have a physical ?type? that they look for in women ? some men always go for brunettes, some men always go for blondes, some men always go for big boobs, and on and on. (By the way, I?ve known men who always go for the same personality types too ? some men love crazy, some men love type-A, some men love Little Lost Girls.) I?ve known men who always go for very slender, very petite, boyish-looking women too. But that?s my point ? they look for their type and go for it. They don?t find a woman who isn?t really their type and try to body-shame her into having an eating disorder so she can ?become? his type. Of course, it?s not like LeAnn gave him much of a choice ? she was determined to have Eddie, and she ?won? him. And so this is the life she?s carved for herself. If any of this is true, which? I mean, yeah. ALLEGEDLY. All of this is very ?alleged?.
