Getting an early jump on the day, LeAnn Rimes was spotted leaving her hotel in Washington DC this morning (October 21).
Ms. Rimes elected to skip the makeup as she hopped on her tour bus, sporting a green jacket, grey leggings and grey sneakers.
Last night, LeAnn took the stage for a very special performance to raise money for Stand Up For Kids, a charity that aims to help homeless youth.
She tweeted, "So happy to be in DC and raise money for Stand Up For Kids. Pizza party with some of the kids before the show. My heart melts cause (sic) I'm very passionate about this cause. All kids deserve a chance at a future. These are the nights I Love what I do. It's truly from the heart and so gratifying to use my gift to help others."

Last week, Brandi Glanville gave an exclusive interview to In Touch Weekly. Magically, this week, LeAnn Rimes gave an exclusive interview to Star Magazine, the trashiest of the trashy tabloids, IMO. Single White Female-ing, or is it just to ?promote her album?? Who can say at this point? It doesn?t really matter, because all LeAnn talks about is her body and how much she loves her bony, emaciated frame. Here are some highlights:
LeAnn on her body: ?I understand the public is used to seeing me with baby fat, but you have got to understand that I?m not a baby anymore? everyone has seen my every five-or10-pound weight loss or gain since I was 13. Now I?ve grown into a woman, and my body has changed.?
Her divorce did affect her weight: ?When I went through a divorce and didn?t want to get out of bed for almost a year and a half, I gained 10 lbs.?
Since marrying Eddie: ?I?m the happiest I?ve been. I?m healthy and taking great care of my body again.?
Her new workout: ?It?s made my body] longer, leaner and less bulky.? She now exercises three or four times a week by doing Pilates, dancing or circuit training with light weights. ?I also love boxing to get rid of stress and tone my entire body? but lately, I mainly work out when I can. Mostly that?s consisted of walking miles through airports and performing high-energy 90-minute shows every night while on tour!?
Her diet: ?I start off my day with [nutritionist Kimberly Snyder?s] smoothies, and then I?m mostly vegetarian until dinner, when I eat fish, chicken or steak with salad and veggies. There?s nothing I deprive myself of, not even sugar. I eat everything I want in moderation.?
She mentions pregnancy: ?My body will continually change with stress, contentment or whether I?m busy or not. Hopefully also one day when I?m pregnant!?

My favorite part is where she completely rewrites her own famewhoring, Eddie-stalking history - ?When I went through a divorce and didn?t want to get out of bed for almost a year and a half, I gained 10 lbs.? A year and a half? I?m assuming she means the year and a half that passed right after everyone found out that she was screwing Eddie? And after we found out, she started calling the paps on herself constantly while she was running errands and flaunting her body and stalking Eddie incessantly? But poor LeAnn, she didn?t want to get out of bed! Poor baby. NO! SHE?S NOT A BABY ANYMORE.

They?re always on the go, and yesterday (October 16) LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were spotted arriving at LAX International Airport.
The ?Can?t Fight the Moonlight? songstress and her ?Playboy Club? hubby looked very much in love as they held hands while exiting the terminal.
During her flight, LeAnn made the most of her time, tweeting, ?Just finished half of my Christmas shopping online. Thank God for wifi on planes!?
Rimes also shared, ?We almost missed our flight. We were laughing and talking and looked up & realized we weren?t on the plane but everyone else was. :)?

At this point I wouldn’t put much past LeAnn Rimes. She seems like she’s getting desperate (or she has been for some time and we’re just noticing how severe it is) with the amount of interviews, tweeting, and photo ops she’s staging. So this week’s In Touch has a story complete with what I believe are exclusive new bikini photos, although I could be wrong. (It’s not one of the bikinis she was wearing a month ago to celebrate her birthday by looking insane at a beach photo shoot, nor is it any of the numerous other bikinis she’s sported over the past few months.) The article is about how LeAnn’s “friends” aka her staff, are concerned about her and are worried that she is anorexic. They even have a guy who has supposedly known LeAnn since she was 11, some DJ, who spoke on the record about how skinny she is and how she’s looking ill.
A former mentor of the singer confides exclusively to In Touch that her longtime friends are anxious about her weight loss, too. “Everyone who knows LeAnn thinks that her appearance is alarming and that she looks like she may be anorexic,” laments Bill Back, a legendary DJ who met LeAnn when she was just 11. “She’s still an attractive girl, of course, but there’s been a rapid and obvious change in a very short amount of time, and I’m worried about her.
LeAnn’s friends agree, and they may take drastic action. “It’s gotten to the point where some of us are really worried about her,” a friend tells In Touch. “A group of her friends are even planning to stage an intervention to confront her about her weight.”

Well LeAnn of course could not let that slide, and she brought up her weight again in a recent interview with the Associated Press. She also claimed that when she was going through a divorce she “couldn’t get out of bed.” She couldn’t get out of bed because she was sleeping with a married man in it.
AP: Celebrity and fame has changed since you first became famous as a teenager. Now you’re followed by paparazzi and the press focuses on your marriage.
Rimes: It’s interesting. I was told when I was little I couldn’t have an opinion because you want everyone to buy your record and like you. I’m not gonna apologize for who I am and what I’ve gone through. We all are human. I’ve learned you just don’t know what another person has gone through. … People don’t see that. You know, I went through all I’ve gone through in the last few years and I was going through a divorce and I couldn’t get out of bed, and so I gained 10 pounds and then I lose 10 pounds because now I’m moving around and I’m working and you know, I don’t stop and no one sees that (weight loss) actually can happen like naturally. It’s a natural progression of life. It has to be some big deal and some issue so I’m glad there are people out there that are smarter than that and they don’t buy into it.
AP: How do you deal with all the tabloid attention?
LeAnn: You go through different emotions every day, because the unfortunate thing is the things that people write about and use the word allegedly in front of and say that you do or have done mold people’s opinions about you as a person, and I think it’s completely unfair. … They don’t know the half of it. And so I find it interesting. I’ve never really had to experience that until the last few years. … It definitely can be life-changing, in a good and bad way.

Notice that the interviewer didn’t bring up LeAnn’s weight, she did. This is all she has to talk about: her weight and her marriage. Sometimes she adds Brandi’s kids in there. It was last Monday, September 26, (the same day that Brandi premiered on RHOBH) that LeAnn wrote a whole blog entry about how she didn’t like the word “stepmom” and how she was a great mom and they were just family or something. Then, maybe-not-so-coincidentally, In Touch printed a story a little later that week about how LeAnn was a bad stepmom, but it sounded kind of mild. It was all about how she didn’t give the boys sugar and how she got their hair cut without Brandi’s permission. It worked right into LeAnn’s story defending herself, which she wrote before the article came out and presumably before she could have gotten wind of it. So I’m thinking these negative articles play right into her plan of having something to deny and keep us talking about her. That’s why it looks like she’s planting them. Cue dramatic hamster again.

Another day, another “LeAnn Rimes: pay attention to me” story. That’s basically what they all boil down to. When something actually notable and maybe legitimate happens in LeAnn’s tailored for public consumption life, she jumps on it like a small mangy dog humping your leg, a dog that would hump your leg even if you were wearing sandpaper pants. So a drunk driver crashed through the gate on LeAnn’s property, and no one was hurt since they were either away or safely ensconced in their home, which was probably a full country lane down from the accident, but of course LeAnn had to tweet all about it. She predictably got sanctimonious about it too, and was so happy to lecture us on the dangers of drunk driving.
On Monday morning, a car — driven by a suspected drunk driver — plowed into the fence of the home shared by LeAnn Rimes, husband Eddie Cibrian and his two sons.
Police confirmed to E! News that a 20-year-old driver with a suspended license knocked over a stop sign before smacking into a light pole and fence of the singer and actor’s gated community home. The unidentified driver is believed to have been under the influence, but toxicology reports are pending.
Rimes, 30, flew out of town on Monday night to North Carolina, but talked about the incident via Twitter.
“To address the accident that happened in front of our home this morning, everyone is ok and safe. However, if drunk driving was involved it is terribly sad,” she wrote.
“My family could have been seriously injured and any situation where someone is drinking and driving should not be taken lightly. Needless to say, it was a very unsettling call to receive this morning. Thank goodness the young driver and everyone at home are ok.”
She replied to a tweet with, “Yes, we are ok. I’m sure it will hit me when I go home tonight and see our fence. The pics are terrifying.”

This happened to LeAnn’s house, maybe-not-so-coincidentally, on the exact same day that her nemesis, her husband Eddie’s ex wife Brandi Glanville, made her debut on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Cue dramatic hamster. Brandi has a DUI in her past, and suddenly, on the day of the night that Brandi premieres on television, a drunk driver plows into LeAnn’s fence. It all works too conveniently in LeAnn’s favor for my taste. I wouldn’t put it past her to have paid some dude to do this, although this is a stunt that seems way too hard to stage given that law enforcement is involved. E! got confirmation from the police department and everything.
E! has a recap of Brandi’s appearance on RHOBH. I’m not going to watch it, sorry. I can’t stand those shows now, and you guys know why.

Earlier in the day, a 20-year-old driver with a suspended license collided with Rimes? Hidden Hills, California home.
LeAnn explained, ?To address the accident that happened in front of our home this morning, everyone is ok and safe. However, if drunk driving was involved it is terribly sad. My family could have been seriously injured and any situation where someone is drinking and driving should not be taken lightly.?

LeAnn Rimes is still talking. That?s a given, but it?s been LeAnn Overkill ever since she began promoting her new album. I?m assuming that these ?candid? photos - of LeAnn shopping in Malibu yesterday - are to promote her album too. Because why wouldn?t you want to buy an album from someone who looks so? healthy? I can?t even. Her legs really bother me. This outfit bothers me. Of course, her face bothers me too, so I?m totally not LeAnn?s target audience. Anyway, LeAnn has yet another new interview, this time with some country radio station. The topic is Twitter, and whether or not LeAnn is ?addicted? to Twitter. Just some background - LeAnn briefly quit Twitter (or she made her account private), but she hated the lack of Twit-attention so much, she came back with a vengence, and still tweets incessantly, all day, every day.
LeAnn Rimes tweets a lot. On Wednesday alone, she tweeted well over fifty times before most people had even finished their lunch. Still, the ?Blue? hitmaker insists she?s not addicted to Twitter, she just likes being in touch with her fans. A lot.
?You know, it?s not that I?m addicted to Twitter, it?s that I have so much dang time on my hands!? Rimes tells 98 Country. ?If you saw how much time I sit on a plane or in a bus or whatever it may be, once I get all of my stuff done for the day, with this wonderful iPhone that we now have it?s so easy to just talk to people. I definitely do tweet a lot, I definitely won?t deny it, but I think a lot of it is answering people back and saying hello and thank you. I see how much they [the fans] appreciate it ? it?s instant gratification.?
There?s no arguing that Rimes has a knack for getting in touch with the people who buy her albums through the social media site. In between tweets about burgers and the 2004 comedy ?Mean Girls,? the country singer connects with her followers in a way that most artists don?t: by replying to their messages.
?Because of Twitter I think my fans and I have had this kind of ? I?ve been able to reach my fans in a completely different way,? Rimes explains. ?Whatever strikes my fancy, whatever I feel like people can relate to, the blog was a suggestion of a fan and I thought, ?What a great idea,? because people really get to know me as a human instead of this tabloid staple that?s just a face.?
The singer, who married ?The Playboy Club? star Eddie Cibrian earlier this year, talks about everyday things with her fans ? rather than her albums and star-status ? because she thinks that people relate more to the little things. When asked whether she?d survive without Twitter, Rimes had no doubt. She said, ?If I had to step away for two days, I definitely would not be like pining for it.?
At the time of publication, the blonde songstress was still tweeting away.

She can?t even convincingly feign interest in her fans or anything other than herself - it?s not about communicating with other people, it?s about LeAnn having an outlet for her monologues, so it?s about the cacophony of self-absorbed delusion.
As for LeAnn having ?so much dang time on her hands? - I still don?t understand that. She tweets so much, I really don?t see how she has time to do other things. Oh, and if she “had” to step away for two days, she would be climbing the walls.

Now that I?ve covered Adele this morning, the rest of the day is going to be a total bust. I can?t even work up the energy to care about this new LeAnn Rimes interview. LeAnn is still promoting her new album (which is nothing like Adele?s), and she?s still full of delusion and narcissism (unlike Adele), and it?s boring (unlike Adele). LeAnn tells Country Weekly Magazine that she?s thinking about babies - surprisingly, however, she makes it sound like getting knocked up is still far away.
LeAnn Rimes dropped the bombshell news that even though she?s ?enjoying every minute? of being a stepmom she wants to have a baby of her own with her husband Eddie Cibrian!
?They are awesome,? she said about her two stepsons. ?And it does make me want to have a child eventually. I enjoy being a stepmom and I?d really love to have a child of our own, but we?ll see,? the singer/actress told Country Weekly magazine.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, LeAnn took to her blog recently to say that she doesn?t consider herself a stepmom but just a mom.
?In our house, in our family, we remove the ’step.’ We really are all… simply family,” the 29-year-old songbird wrote. ?Eddie?s sons, I treat as if they are my own.
?Step. Stepmother, Stepfather, Stepchildren — the word ’step’ can take on such a connotation to so many in our society,” she said. “A family is a family. In my eyes. There’s no ’step’ about it.”
In the Country Weekly interview, LeAnn described her family dynamic. ?We have two right now that are 100 percent taking plenty of time up and it?s definitely a learning experience for me, never having been around kids and having kids. They are our number-one priority and that?s been a totally new thing for me. It?s good, but a totally new experience for me. I?m enjoying every minute of it. I didn?t realize how much I would enjoy it.?
So maybe we should be on the watch for a LeAnn Rimes baby bump!

I wonder? why is LeAnn not all about having Eddie?s babies? I?m not saying every woman has to be all about babies, etc, caveat, etc. I?m saying that it?s odd to me that LeAnn is super-loved-up with the man that she finally ?won? and you would think that she would want to mark her territory further by having Eddie?s baby immediately. Plus, she would want to Single White Female Brandi some more - Brandi had two of Eddie?s babies, after all. LeAnn must copy or outdo her. Also, if LeAnn got knocked up, wouldn?t she be more sympathetic as a person? I think so. People love babies.
So why isn?t LeAnn all over it? Is a body image thing? She just got her perfect bony body and she doesn?t want to gain the weight? Is it about her career? Because she doesn?t have much a career at this point. Or is it because she worries that Eddie will dump her if she focuses on something else for a change? Poor LeAnn? it?s hard to imagine what it?s like in the center of that crazy.

Heading out for a night with the girls, LeAnn Rimes was spotted out to dinner at Nobu restaurant in Malibu, CA on Wednesday (September 28).
The ?Northern Lights? lady looked super cute in flare jeans, a see through top with tank and designer bag as she made her way inside the swanky eatery.
In recent news, LeAnn has been criticized for her slim figure and has had to deal with haters calling her bulimic and anorexic as of late.
Attempting to set the record straight, however, Rimes fired back during a recent visit to the Ellen DeGeneres show, saying, "Calling a lot of people fat or anorexic or bulimic or whatever it may be, it just seems like bullying now, instead of really taking these diseases seriously that a lot of people are going through."

It never ceases to amaze me how many photos LeAnn Rimes takes of herself.
