I?ve been ignoring Lindsay Lohan for a few weeks. I needed a break and she wasn?t doing anything important/noteworthy anyway. But today is a new day! And Lindsay has provided me with what I consider to be the funniest gossip story of the day. Apparently, Lindsay waded into a political election on her social media yesterday. She posted her endorsement of a Brazilian presidential candidate named Aecio Neves on her Twitter and her Facebook. Don?t go looking for it now, she?s already pulled those posts, although you can see the screencaps here at Buzzfeed. So, why did Lindsay decide to wade into Brazilian presidential politics? She knows a guy who knows a guy. And cocaine. Seriously.
Lindsay Lohan says she has a good reason for supporting a presidential candidate in Brazil … she says her “Brazilian contacts” like the guy — a guy whose company owned a chopper filled with tons of coke.
Lindsay tweeted, “I support @aecioNeves, for presidential candidature. His platform brings positive changes in Brazil.”
Lindsay took a beating for getting involved in anyone’s politics for obvious reasons. But a source connected with LiLo tells TMZ, she’s supporting the guy because “she has plenty of contacts there and has several business trips to the country.” The source also says she has a “good contact” in Brazil who likes Neves a lot.
Here’s what Lindsay’s 8.5 million followers need to know. Neves owns a company that owns a helicopter that was seized by the federal police … seized because it was carrying 4.5 TONS of cocaine. It’s unclear if Lindsay supports Neves because he’s a good guy or just throws a good party.

RIGHT?! This is so completely Lohan. You will never find a more perfect Lohan story ever. Of course she has shady Brazilian contacts. Of course she would end up endorsing a guy who is most widely known for being involved with 4.5 tons of cocaine. Of course she would endorse the guy on her social media only to pull those endorsements like they never even happened, then try to explain it to TMZ like a crackhead.
Here?s another funny/sad LL story: yesterday, Lindsay posted this photo on her Instagram with the hashtag #RIPOscar, for Oscar de la Renta?s passing. The problem? The dress she?s wearing in the photo is Theia, not de la Renta. Besides, that dress was just a loaner and LL destroyed it by cutting it up. Classic.

Looking to blow off some steam, Lindsay Lohan headed over to the National Liberal Club in London to celebrate her press night performance of ?Speed The Plow? last night (October 2).
Joined by costars Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay, the ?Parent Trap? hottie was all smiles as she paraded around in her shimmery dress and posed for photos.
Unfortunately, LiLo and her play didn?t score very high with the critics, as Mark Shenton of The Stage really tore into the whole production.
He wrote, ?This is the most indefensibly opportunistic production of a play about some of life's opportunists: beyond satire, a truly cynical event. It has been staged primarily as a vehicle for @LindsayLohan, cruelly out of her league & embarrassing onstage, still calling for prompts. The Lindsay we should be talking about is Nigel Lindsay [who played the lead], not Lindsay Lohan; he's outstanding, full of sweaty anxiety for the right reasons. The producers of Speed-the-Plow have inadvertently satirized themselves by putting the show on; here's living proof of a rush to the bottom.?

Here is Lindsay Lohan celebrating her first two nights in the West End’s Speed-The-Plow with a trip to London hotspot Chiltern Firehouse on Thursday, where she shocked onlookers with her fake tan disaster.
The star chose a rather unusual outfit for her evening out, showing off her trim and toned physique in a pair of skintight shiny black leggings.

Here are some photos of Lindsay Lohan leaving the Playhouse Theatre last night after her second preview performance of Speed-the-Plow. I?m assuming she?s still wearing some of her stage makeup because YIKES. After the terrible reviews and outright laughter from the audience, you?d think that Lindsay would realize that she needs to buckle down and actually study her lines and do some extra work so her performance isn?t a total catastrophe. Not so much. Fame/Flynet notes that Lindsay went straight from the theater to the Chiltern Firehouse. Where I?m sure she partied into the wee hours. But maybe we should give her a pass, because she?s apparently looking for her next gig: wife/girlfriend to an old, rich man.
Forget sight-seeing of taking a few much-needed etiquette lessons. Lindsay Lohan is using her free time to hunt down a posh English sugar-daddy!

If I was a British dude, I would be sort of insulted by the sheer number of cracked-out American messes who think it?s so easy to land a wealthy British aristocrat. Courtney Love thinks the same thing ? Love has said in the past that she?s hunted for some rich British guy to marry. And now Love?s heir, the Cracken, is doing the same thing. Except I doubt Lindsay cares about titles. The men just need money. And she probably does want guys who are pretty old. Anna Nicole, indeed.

“On the first night of previews, a work-in-progress feel is to be expected. But halfway through the second act of Speed-the-Plow, the audience was openly laughing at Lohan’s struggle to grasp Mamet’s sharp, trademark dialogue,” Nico Hines writes, but also added later that “Lohan remained charming throughout.”

Lindsay Lohan covers the newest issue of Wonderland Magazine. This is an absolutely terrible cover, right? I mean, the cover image is okay (for a Cracken), but the text ruins it. This is ?The Mean Girls Issue,? and it features more interesting people than Lohan, but I guess the editors couldn?t resist putting an original Mean Girl on the cover. You know why she got the cover, right? It?s because she doesn?t want to be famous, you guys!!! She doesn?t want any attention, seriously! No, she?s on the cover because she?s promoting her stupid play. How in the world does she manage to get a magazine cover for a PLAY?
Since we don?t have any quotes from the Wonderland piece (sad-face), I thought I would mention this story from last week (I just never got around to writing about it) ? Lindsay is being sued. Again. This time because she crack-heisted someone?s idea for an app. You can read more about it here.

You know how Lindsay Lohan doesn?t want to be famous? You know how she doesn?t want to be photographed all the time? You know how she doesn?t want a reputation as a party girl, famous for being a cracked-out mess? You know how she?s supposed to be in rehearsals for Speed-the-Plow and really working hard right now? Yeah. These are photos of Lindsay leaving last night?s AnOther Magazine party during London Fashion Week. She can barely walk and she?s wearing some kind of ?lace? sunglasses or something. Because she?s working so hard, you guys. Because she doesn?t want to be famous. Because she has her nose to the grindstone, but only if the grindstone is made of cocaine.
As for LL?s recent Telegraph interview, where she claimed she ?rolled a body bag for Whitney Houston,? TMZ spoke to the LA Coroner?s Office and guess what? Crack lies.
Lindsay Lohan is lying when she says she had to roll Whitney Houston’s body bag at the L.A. County Morgue … because Whitney was never in a body bag. An official from the Coroner’s Office tells TMZ … Whitney was NEVER in a body bag and no one in the probation program came in contact with Whitney’s body.
Lindsay — who was ordered by a judge to spend time at the morgue to teach her a lesson about drinking and driving — claimed in an interview she was singled out to roll Whitney’s body bag.
Whitney died on Saturday, Feb 11, 2012. The autopsy was performed the next day and her body was gone by morning. No one from any court-ordered probation program came in contact with the body … according to the Coroner’s official.
The official says Whitney was wrapped in plastic with a sheet cover the entire time she was at the morgue. In fact, she was taken out in plastic — not a body bag — from the hotel where she died.

I mean, of course Lindsay is a crack liar and everything that comes out of her mouth is utter nonsense. But if your efforts to refute Lindsay Lohan involve some kind semantic argument about what constitutes a ?body bag? versus a plastic sheet, you need to come up with a better argument. That being said, LL is always full of it. I have no idea what the Speed-the-Plow producers are thinking.

Is it just me or are these photos of Lindsay Lohan at Tuesday night?s GQ Awards still really funny? She made sure the photographers got her looking cracked-out at every angle, and you can just see on her face that she?s beyond thrilled to be on the red carpet. Why, London? Why are you inviting the Cracken to actual A-listy events? And why are you interviewing her like she?s someone important and not someone who can?t even keep her crack-lies straight? Lindsay spoke to The Daily Mail and this conversation was? tragic.
Speaking to MailOnline at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards at London’s Royal Opera House on Tuesday night, Lindsay Lohan said: ‘Being here in London is all about me this time. Yeah English guys are cute, but it’s not about the boys. It’s about getting away from New York and Los Angeles and starting afresh, which is all very exciting for me. I love London and lived here for eight months once before, so it feels like home.’
Lindsay dazzled on the red carpet at the star-studded awards ceremony in a striking thigh-split gown, before transforming into a semi-sheer metallic mini-dress later in the evening. And although the Mean Girls star had her party dress on, she insisted she was calling it a night after presenting the Chef award to Tom Kerridge.
She added to MailOnline: ‘I’m not partying tonight, I’m going home as I need to be at work tomorrow. This is what it’s all about. I had a great night, but I was so, so nervous.’
After having made a concerted effort to ditch her party-girl reputation, Lindsay admitted she is still nervous about making her stage debut, as it’s so far removed from her big screen ‘comfort zone’.
Lindsay added: ‘I’m working hard, and yesterday was my first day of reading lines on stage. It was hard work and very scary, but that was what I came prepared for. I’ve been acting since I was a child, but this is something completely different and out of my comfort zone.’

Methinks Lindsay is genuinely ?nervous? about her debut on the London stage. I?m being serious! She?s really nervous. She?s nervous because she knows she?s going to be a cracked-out trainwreck. I honestly wouldn?t be surprised if Lindsay and her crack team of crackies are trying to lower expectations down to the sub-basement level so that if she manages to say some of her lines while standing upright, many will consider it a success.
And how much do you love this? ?Being here in London is all about me this time.? Honey, it?s always all about you. You are one of the most self-centered and selfish people I?ve ever seen. And obviously, she didn?t need to party after the show ? because she pre-partied #AlltheDrugs before she even stepped on the carpet.
