What in God?s name is happening with Vogue?s November cover?!? This is the most hellish, budget, ugly messes I?ve ever seen. The cover story is all about the women of Nine, which will likely be one of the biggest movies of the awards season. Nine stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Judi Dench, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Stacey ?Fergie? Ferguson, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz and Sophia Loren, amongst others. For such a major film, it?s no surprise Vogue decided to put some of the more prominent leading ladies on the cover. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no way that Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson were all at the same location at the same time for the cover shoot.
It looks like they just cut-and-pasted Nicole Kidman on the end, and what?s with the totally weird lighting on every single woman? Marion looks like she has a spotlight on her, while Penelope looks half-shadowed. Meanwhile, Kate looks like she smelled something. Yikes. Ten bucks says this shot is by Annie Leibovitz, and twenty says she is not happy with it. Plus, Nine takes place in Rome - why not do a fashion shoot in Rome? Why do these women have to be looking pissy at the beach?
Anyway, Vogue hasn?t put up the cover story online yet, but they do have an interesting feature - nine great looks from each of the cover ladies. I tend to think that would have been a better cover - just put older images from these ladies, and jam them together on the cover. Or, better yet, just put the immortal Daniel Day-Lewis on the cover and call it a day. Out of the whole cast, I?d say Daniel has the best shot at winning an Oscar for Nine. Sigh. And now I?m looking forward to Daniel?s press.

Nicole Kidman made a red carpet appearance last night as the face (or wrist) of Omega. Nicole donned a figure-hugging, long-sleeve, mandarin-collar black dress with a sexy front slit. I actually love the dress - Nicole wears a lot of black, but she usually tries different silhouettes with it, which is cool. What I didn?t like? Whatever is going on with Nicole?s face. Do you think we?re the only ones to notice how? tight her face looks? Although Nicole has always said she?s all-natural, most people claim (and have claimed for awhile) that she is doing something really hardcore with her face. Like, constant Botoxing or really unnatural-looking plastic surgery. The Daily Mail has a theory for last night?s tight, waxy appearance too - they think Nicole?s hair may just be really, really tight:
She continues to deny claims she uses Botox, but Nicole Kidman opted for another trick for ironing out unwanted wrinkles last night - the Croydon Facelift.
The pencil-thin Oscar-winning actress modelled the infamous hairstyle at a party held at the Omega flagship store in New York.
Her ginger mane was tied back so tightly back [sic] that the features on her face were pulled even more tautly than usual.
The term Croydon Facelift was coined several years ago - around the time ‘chavs’ began to emerge - and Little Britain’s Vicky Pollard and Catherine Tate’s teen Lauren are both fans. However, the look is also occasionally popular among the A-list, with Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Victoria Beckham all parading the distinctive ponytail in recent times.
Nicole has always maintained that her remarkably youthful appearance is ‘completely natural’.
The 42-year-old mother of Sunday Rose has said: ‘I have nothing in my face or anything.’
But many beg to differ, including Dr Martin Braun, who runs the biggest Botox clinic in Canada. He famously told a told a conference of medical experts in 2008 that Nicole was so ‘over-Botoxed’ she was giving the industry a bad name.

Well, I do think Nicole?s penchant for really tight hairstyles can be partially blamed for her ?severe? look at times. But! I?m pretty sure (like 99% positive) that Nicole is Botoxing the hell out of her face. In the pictures where she?s smiling, her face looks so tight she?s about to wince in pain. Her forehead is like marble. It?s such a shame too - I loved Nicole back in the day, she was so gorgeous. Oh well. At least she?s back to red hair - that blonde style she had for too long was bumming me out.

Venturing out for promotional duties, Nicole Kidman looked stunning as she dropped by the Omega flagship boutique in New York City on Wednesday evening (October 7).
The “Eyes Wide Shut” actress was clad in a stylish black dress as she joined Omega CEO Stephen Urquhart for a press op at the high-end watch shop.
Aside from earning cash from her Omega ambassador role, Miss Kidman is gearing up to star in the Tomas Alfredson directed film, “The Danish Girl”.
Due out in 2011, a synopsis of the film via IMDB tells: “Inspired by the true story of Danish painter Einar Wegener and his California-born wife, this tender portrait of a marriage asks: What do you do when someone you love wants to change? It starts with a question, a simple favor asked of a husband by his wife on an afternoon chilled by the Baltic wind while both are painting in their studio. Her portrait model has canceled, and would he mind slipping into a pair of women’s shoes and stockings for a few moments so she can finish the painting on time. ‘Of course,’ he answers. ‘Anything at all.’ With that, one of the most passionate and unusual love stories of the twentieth century begins.”

Ever the stylish couple, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were spotted stepping out of their apartment in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (September 8).
The “Australia” actress and her “Once in a Lifetime” singing hubby sweetly held hands as they made their way to an awaiting car before being driven away.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Nicole and Keith spent the previous day attending the Roger Federer vs Tommy Robredo match held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, where the loved-up pair laughed and canoodled in the stands as they watched Federer win the match in straight sets.
Prior to showing up in NYC, Keith and Nicole had been enjoying some relaxing family time at their home in Nashville, Tennessee.

Earlier in the month, the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress and her country singing hubby were spotted out with their growing baby girl, Sunday Rose Urban, taking a stroll through the park and photogs snapped up shots.

Enjoying a beautiful summer afternoon, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were spotted out and about in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday (August 30).
The “Moulin Rouge” actress and her “Days Go By” hubby looked like the picture of marital bliss as they made their way around town on their usual daily routine.
Nicole and Keith grabbed a pick-me-up at a local coffeehouse before they headed off to their gym for some daily exercise.
Unlike many of their colleagues in the film and music industry, Nicole and Keith would much rather live the simple life free of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

Nicole Kidman?s 1-year-old daughter Sunday Rose isn?t one of those celebrity babies who?s always up for a candid photo-op. Nicole has only been photographed with Sunday a handful of times since giving birth to her in July of 2008, and for the most part, Sanday has been pretty covered up. I was hoping Sunday would take after her mom - that we would see a little pale, carrot-top style-icon-in-training. It turns out that Nicole and husband Keith Urban are pretty happy raising Sunday away from the spotlight of New York and Los Angeles, setting up their home base in Nashville.
It was in Nashville that Nicole, Keith and Sunday were photographed chilling out. Keith stopped by their Nashville home base between tour dates - and I would assume that Nicole?s been in Nashville for most of the summer. These are the best pictures I?ve seen of Sunday, and I can see now that she definitely takes after her dad. She?s a cute little brunette, and I don?t see much of Nicole in her sweet little face. She?s still adorable, but I had my heart set on a ginger. Oh, well.
The only thing I?ve heard about or seen of Nicole in the past few months has been her brief appearance on Project Runway?s ?All-Star Challenge?. The news of Nicole?s appearance leaked a few days before the premiere, and I had my heart set on something really cool. Unfortunately, Nicole only appeared on the show via some kind of pre-taped thing, where she basically read off a prepared speech to the designers. It sucked. There?s some talk that Nicole would wear the winning ?red carpet look? to one of the premieres of Nine, which comes out in November. The winner of the challenge turned out to be Season 2?s runner-up, Daniel Vosovic. I like Daniel, but Korto Momolu?s line was so much prettier - and Nicole would have looked gorgeous in any of her fantastic, more sophisticated dresses. I seriously doubt Nicole will end up wearing the black-and-white cocktail dress Daniel designed. Daniel later told the Los Angeles Times, ?I thought it would be phenomenal on Nicole Kidman. We’ll see if we can get her in it!? Good luck with that.

Reuniting for some much-deserved family time, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were spotted out in Nashville with baby Sunday Rose earlier this week (August 18).
The happy family strolled past awaiting paparazzi as Keith took time in between tour dates to dote on his two lovely ladies.
The family outing comes just after it was announced that Nicole will be appearing on “Project Runway”.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress will be seen on the “Project Runway: All-Star Challenge” episode – which is set to hit airwaves before the sixth season premiere of the show on August 20.

Well-known for her stylish ways, Nicole Kidman is ready to hit the catwalk for “Project Runway”.
According to Access Hollywood, a rep for Lifetime has confirmed that the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress will appear on the reality spearheaded by supermodel Heidi Klum.
The report adds that Miss Kidman can be seen during the “Project Runway: All-Star Challenge” episode – which is set to hit airwaves before the sixth season premiere of the show on August 20.
Others making appearances on the TV special include designers Santino Rice and Jeffrey Sebelia.

Keeping her head down low, Nicole Kidman looked sporty as she left her apartment for a workout in New York City on Thursday (July 9).
With husband Keith Urban stepping out separately, the pair have been calling the Big Apple home as Nicole works on her new project, “Rabbit Hole”.
Meanwhile, it sounds as if Miss Kidman is making changes to her staff, as she’s reportedly let go of her senior publicist, Catherine Olim, after 15-years working together.
Of the situation, a source tells press, “Now that the bloom is off Kidman’s career, Olim got thrown to the ground. Hollywood is a tough business.”
