Always a spectacular evening, the stars gathered together to attend the 10th annual Avon Foundation For Women Gala in New York City on Tuesday night (October 26).
Held at Cipriani 42nd Street, the charitable soiree was spearheaded by Honorary Chair of the Avon Foundation for Women Reese Witherspoon, with Avon Spokesperson Patrick Dempsey also turning up with his lovely wife Jillian.
Also making appearances at the festive affair were Avon Spokesperson Christy Turlington, Avon Global Creative Color Director Jillian Dempsey, CEO of Avon Products Andrea Jung, as well as singer-songwriter and breast cancer survivor Melissa Etheridge.
As for the cause, The Avon Foundation's about us declaration tells that "[Avon] has been improving and saving women?s lives since it was founded in 1955, and we are proud to be the largest corporate philanthropy dedicated to women?s causes globally. Today our mission is focused on breast cancer and domestic violence, as well as emergency and disaster relief, touching lives across the country and around the world. Through 2010, Avon global philanthropy has raised and donated more than $800 million worldwide."

Having flown out east the previous day, Reese Witherspoon enjoyed an afternoon of sightseeing in New York City on Tuesday (October 26).
Clad in a floral print blouse, dark jeans and knee high boots, the "Four Christmases" cutie was all smiles as she ventured into The Guggenheim Museum to check out the modern and contemporary international art offerings.
The trip to the Big Apple comes just as reports claim that Reese's ex, Jake Gyllenhaal, has been gallivanting around NYC with country superstar Taylor Swift.
After hitting up the "Saturday Night Live" taping together over the weekend, an Us magazine source tells that Jake and Taylor also visited Fishkill Farms for an apple-picking festival.
A local tells, "They were walking through the trees, having fun together. They looked happy."
Another witness added, "Some of the customers tried to take a photo of them, but they were hiding from them in the trees. They drove through the orchard and bought the apples on the way out."

The ?Sweet Home Alabama? babe looked snazzy in an all-black ensemble as she made her exit from the popular Manhattan eatery to find shutterbugs waiting for her.
Reese?s Big Apple outing comes after rumors that her boyfriend of 10 months, Jim Toth, is gearing up to pop the question.
A source told press, ?Jim is ready. He?s even designing the ring. He wants it to come from him and for it to be completely unique. He plans to make it private. He will probably take her away or go to her farm in Ojai, California.?
On the other side of the coin, insiders claim that the report is a bit premature, and that Toth isn?t readying for anything just yet.

They've been getting closer and closer over the months, and it appears as if Reese Witherspoon may have found the perfect match in boyfriend Jim Toth.
Coming as no surprise, the "Legally Blonde" actress and her agent beau have become the subject of engagement and wedding rumors after being spotted on family outings with Ree's two children more and more often.
Denying any such fast-paced commitment, a rep for Miss Witherspoon told People magazine of Reese and Jim's status, saying, "They are not engaged."
A source for People adds, "Jim knows Reese is the one for him. It's what he's been waiting for. [Getting engaged] is a natural step for them but they're not in a rush. There's no deadline, no timetable. But it's something in the future."

Uniting for the weekend, Reese Witherspoon and her boyfriend Jim Toth took Deacon Phillippe out for lunch at Lula Cocina Mexicana in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday afternoon (October 9).
Continuing to help out as her young son deals with his first serious injury, the "Legally Blonde" beauty kindly aided Deacon with his crutches as he got into the car following the midday meal.
The family time comes as Reese is currently on break from shooting her new movie "This Means War" in Vancouver, Canada.
The blonde beauty is co-starring in the McG directed picture alongside Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and Chelsea Handler.

Continuing work on their new film ?This Means War,? Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine were spotted in Vancouver, Canada last night (October 7).
The ?Sweet Home Alabama? babe and the ?Star Trek? stud looked focused as they filmed scenes outside the Barcelona nightclub.
Reese has been spotted all over the British Columbian town as of late, giving the locals quite a show at times.
Earlier this week, Ms. Witherspoon let loose and rocked out on her iPhone with headphones during a break in filming.

The typically serious actress let loose and boogied down to some music on her headphones in between the day's workload.
Directed by McG, the action/comedy film co-stars Chris Pine and Tom Hardy with an expected release date in 2011.
