Showing off her barely there baby bump, Reese Witherspoon was spotted leaving a friend's house in Brentwood, California on Wednesday (March 28).
Looking a little annoyed by the paparazzi, the "Legally Blonde" actress covered up her pregnant belly with a black dress and cardigan, complimenting the look with a bright yellow purse, ballet flats and sunglasses.
Reese is said to be knocked up with her third child and a source tells Us Weekly that her two children, Deacon, 8 and Ava Phillippe, 12, "will love having a baby brother or sister."
One person that had to warm up to the idea of another family member was the 35-year-old's current husband, Jim Toth. "Before Jim met Reese, he wasn't sure about having kids," the source tells Us. "Being around her kids has really shown him what it's all about." Adding Toth is "super-close with the kids".
As for Reese's career, and insider reveals, "She wants to have this child and take time off".

Brace yourself for the most exciting news you’re guaranteed to hear all day: Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon is pregnant! People Magazine says:
After weeks of speculation ? whipped up after the actress sported a series of loose, bump-concealing frocks ? several Witherspoon pals confirm that yes, the Oscar winner and her husband of almost one year are expecting their first child together.
“Jim and Reese are looking forward to having a bigger family at this point in life,” says the friend. “They can take the time to enjoy the next stage and make sure the transition for all is easy and joyful.”
Reese and Jim’s equally exciting future plans include things like sound financial investing, routine colonoscopies and lots and lots of flossing!

These are photos of Reese Witherspoon yesterday, in LA, showing off her little 3-month baby bump. She got pap?d shortly after Us Weekly released this week’s cover story, all about her pregnancy. It was later confirmed by People Magazine, who only got a confirmation from a ?friend? not Reese?s rep. It still means that Reese is pregnant, but it also means that she?s playing some kind of PR game. And now that I?ve gotten a chance to read Us Weekly?s full cover story, I think I know what that game is. It?s along the lines of ?My movies are bombing so I?m going to take some ?time off? and pretend that the time off is my choice, not that I?m doing crappy movies (and no one wants me for good movies), and after the baby I?ll have a big career COMEBACK!? Something like that:
A friend tells Us Weekly, ?Reese and Jim were trying to get pregnant. This wasn?t a surprise? her kids are at an age where they are busy with friends and lives of their own? it will be nice for her to be able to do it all over again with her new husband.?
Jim Toth ?really wanted a baby,? the friend says. ?Before Jim met Reese, he wasn?t sure about having kids. Being around her kids has really shown him what it?s all about.?
A source calls Reese and Jim refreshingly normal: ?They?re not a ?movie star? couple? Reese makes Jim and the kids a priority. They?re together a lot? Reese doesn?t like to travel for too long and be away.?
As for Reese?s relationship with Ryan Phillippe, a source says the three adults avoid drama. ?They?re amicable,? says a Witherspoon pal. ?Reese and Ryan have a great system. One week the kids stay with Reese and Jim; the next, they?re with Ryan.?
Reese has slowly started to spread her baby news to her inner circle, but for the most part, mum?s the word. ?She not telling a lot of people, just close friends and family,? says a source. ?She wants to have this child and take some time off.?
The time is right to take a break, considering her last three films – This Means Way, Water for Elephants, and How Do You Know – were box-office disappointments.
?She?s not getting great offers?she wants to relaunch her career completely and have Jim handle it.?

That?s very interesting, isn?t it? That Us Weekly story was epic, by the way. I only culled the most interesting quotes. First, ?She not telling a lot of people, just close friends and family?AND US WEEKLY.? Because after reading that story, I know for sure that Reese and her team had a hand in it, which means that Reese and her team sold the story to Us Weekly under the auspices of ?Make Reese look like such a down-home mother!? Also, I?m fascinated that Reese wants her husband to manage her post-baby career. That could either be the best thing that happens to her, or it will destroy their marriage (and her career). It all depends on whether Jim treats Reese like his wife, his equal partner, or if he treats like a temperamental actress in need of coddling. How do you separate those two issues if you?re Jim Toth?
PS? I?m in love with her boots. I want to have a relationship with those boots.

According to Us, a weekly that doesn’t usually splash half-truths on the cover of their magazine, Reese Witherspoon is pregnant. Seriously, stop with the babies, people.
Us squeals with delight that Reese turns 36 this Thursday and is 12 weeks pregnant with her third child. Her first with new husband Jim Toth who she married last March.
The baby-to-be will join older siblings Ava, 12, and Deacon, 8, Witherspoon’s kids with first husband Ryan Phillippe, from whom she split in 2006 after 7 years of marriage. Pals of Witherspoon and high-powered CAA agent Toth, 41, aren’t shocked by the happy news. “Reese and Jim have been trying to get pregnant,” one pal says.
“The timing is right,” one source says. “She’s so happy!” Us
Of course the timing is right. Have you ever heard someone say, “The timing is terrible. I… I just can’t get pregnant right now.” I mean, besides your mom while she was sobbing over ten used pregnancy tests.

Her profile has just gone up thanks to pregnancy reports, and Reese Witherspoon couldn?t seem to avoid shutterbugs while out in Brentwood today (March 21).
The ?Cruel Intentions? cutie was spotted heading back to her car after visiting a friend?s house, sporting a loose-fitting sweater with a skirt and sunglasses.
According to a close pal, Reese is expecting her first child with husband Jim Toth- she also has two children with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
Back in January, Reese told press, ?I would love to have more kids. My children are the best part of my day.?
Of the impending arrival, an insider leaked, "Jim and Reese are looking forward to having a bigger family at this point in life. They can take the time to enjoy the next stage and make sure the transition for all is easy and joyful."

Not to be rude, but we always have photos of Reese Witherspoon looking ?baby bumpy?. I think she gains weight in her stomach, and whenever we declare that we see a ?baby bump,? we?re wrong. As is everyone else who calls it, of course. So I?m including photos of Reese from March 4th and the 16th, just to show you that she does have a noticeable baby bump, but we had a good reason for not calling it. Us Weekly must have gotten the wink and the nod from Reese?s people though, because they?re putting Reese and her womb on this week?s cover. There?s no confirmation from Reese or her rep, though. Interesting?
When Reese Witherspoon turns 36 this Thursday March 22, she’ll definitely have something extra to celebrate: A baby on the way! As multiple sources confirm exclusively in the new Us Weekly, out now, the Oscar-winning actress is pregnant with her third child, and her first with second husband Jim Toth, who she wed last March at her $7 million ranch in Ojai, Calif. after over a year of dating.
“Reese is right around 12 weeks,” one source explains, adding that the This Means War star is “not planning to announce it.”

I think it?s probably on. Us Weekly would have run with this cover unless they got a confirmation from someone very close to Reese. I mean? yeah, Us Weekly isn?t People Magazine, but they?re also not OK! Mag. I believe Reese is knocked up this time. She and Jim Toth have been married a year, and I think the time is right for her. She?s also talked about having another baby with Jim, and how good he is to her, so? I don?t know. It makes sense to me. I think Jim is a keeper, and he’s a good step-dad to her kids with Ryan. I think Reese and Jim are going to be together for a long, long time.

Last week, I was feeling bad for Reese Witherspoon. It seemed like her latest film, This Means War, had bombed – so far, it?s made about $35 million in two weeks. But that was before Jennifer Aniston?s new film really bombed over the weekend – now Reese is looking like the much better contender for ?America?s Sweetheart,? isn?t she? My problem with Reese the actress is that when I?m watching her in a rom-com, I?m thinking, ?I wish she would do more dramas.? And when I?m watching her in a drama, I?m thinking, ?I wish she would do more comedies.? Maybe it?s the lack of worthy material in Hollywood. Maybe it?s that Reese has bad taste in projects. Maybe she needs to be less concerned with her paycheck and more concerned with simply making good films.
Anyway, that was a long way to go to say this – for the most part, I like Reese as a person. I still want her to do well. I want her to stop pretending to be a ditz, because she shouldn?t be ashamed of being an anal-retentive, hyper-organized, intelligent woman. I want her to end her friendship with Chelsea Handler – it?s doing her no favors. And mostly, I want Reese to fully embrace being a role model to young women. Because she?s smart, she?s talented, and her instincts are good. Here?s an article about Reese discussing domestic violence and what she tells her kids about the Chris Brown situation:
As the Global Ambassador for the Avon Foundation, Reese Witherspoon knows that in the U.S. and worldwide, one in three woman will experience domestic violence in their lifetimes. As a mother, she wants her kids to know that, too.
“We talk about domestic violence and what that means,” Witherspoon, 35, told PEOPLE Tuesday at the 2nd World Conference of Women’s Shelters in Washington, D.C., about educating her own family. “Although the concept is somewhat foreign to them, they’re starting to understand that this happens to families in our country and all throughout the world.”
Witherspoon’s two children ? daughter Ava, 12, and son Deacon, 8 ? have also talked with their mother about a recent public case: the felony assault by Chris Brown on then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009, after which he pleaded guilty.
“My daughter knows what happened. My son knows as well,” says the Oscar winner. “We talk about what is abuse. I think it’s important to talk to our daughters ? and our sons ? in order to educate them at an early age about what’s appropriate and what is absolutely not acceptable.”
Luckily for Witherspoon, she’s found herself in a happy relationship and marriage with husband Jim Toth. The couple’s first wedding anniversary is next month.
“I don’t know what we’re doing, but I’m very excited!” she says. “It happened so fast ? it all went so quickly.”

Always willing to lend her celebrity for a good cause, and Reese Witherspoon stepped out for 2nd World Conference of Women?s Shelters in Washington DC on Tuesday (February 28).
The ?This Means War? beauty looked fabulous in a short black belted three-quarter length v-neck dress and heels as she posed for pictures ahead of the 2012 Avon Communications Awards: Speaking Out About Violence Against Women ceremony.
As an ambassador for Avon, Witherspoon is there to present the Breaking Silence award, which is given to an organization that puts out a message encouraging members of its community to speak out against violence toward women.
In other news, during a recent ?This Means War? press junket, Witherspoon was asked if she ever juggled two relationships at once like her character in the movie does.
The adorable actress quipped, "I have never dated two people at the same time. I wouldn't know how to keep up with two - I can barely keep up with one!?

Taking care of some international promotional duties, Reese Witherspoon was spotted at the premiere of her new flick ?This Means War? in Seoul, South Korea today (February 23).
The ?Sweet Home Alabama? babe was joined by director McG at Yeongdeungpo CGV, sporting a hot Pink dress with black trousers as she smiled for the press.
Earlier in the day, Reese attended a ?This Means War? press conference at Lotte Cinema, speaking with reporters and posing for pictures.
As for her own life, Ms. Witherspoon says she?s learned some important lessons about relationships from her past divorce. "You have to be ready for a relationship so once you are finally in the right situation, I think you have to be willing to compromise and negotiate. I don't think it's war, but I do think it's a negotiation."

Last year, Duchess Kate and Prince William stopped in California for a few days to do some glitzy events. One of those events involved a Beverly Hills reception (during the day) in which Reese Witherspoon, arguably one of America?s Sweethearts, got to come face-to-face with a real-life ?princess?. Which I guess Kate is, although her working title is only ?The Duchess of Cambridge?. I?m including some of the photos from last year?s event, in which Reese can be seen looking at Kate with AWE.
Anyway, Reese is on today?s Ellen show, and Ellen asked her about meeting Kate. Reese was cute about it:
Reese: Somebody called me and said we?re having a really small fundraiser would you want to come over and meet the Prince and Princess? I was like, Yes. My husband just thought I was so dorky. He was like, why are you so excited? I must of tried on like six outfits. I?m meeting a princess. You don?t understand. You have to be wearing the right outfit and the whole thing. I don?t know maybe we can be friends. So we went and it?s always funny. Whenever I am super excited about things, my husband calls it the double barrel. That?s when I smile so big I look like a child.
Ellen: You really do look happy (shows photo) You?re just beaming.
Reese: I was so excited to meet her. Y?all, she?s a princess.
Ellen: Was she nice? Do you think y?all will hang out?
Reese: I mean, I would like to hang out. I?m not sure she wants to hang out with me. I could see that happening.
Ellen: Was she down to earth?
Reese: She was really nice. She was lovely. She?s so composed. She seems like such a lady and I think it?s so nice now days to see someone with such nice composure and carries herself so beautifully.

I understand what Reese is saying about how it?s nice to see a young woman in the public sphere who isn?t flashing her bits and pieces, who handles herself with grace, who has ?composure.? Reese thinks of herself as a champion for that kind of woman, and? yeah, she probably is. I think Reese is a good role model for young women too – I would argue that Reese is an even better role model than Kate, actually. Reese has a job AND she does charity work AND she?s raising a family. That?s more admirable than, you know, waiting around for a guy for ten years, going on vacation all of the time, and having the bar set so low that you get credit for being ?composed.?
Speaking of what in the world Kate does with all of her free time, while Kate was visiting a Liverpool hospital earlier this week, she talked with some kids about their favorite TV shows, and she admitted that she?s a fan of a British reality show called The Only Way Is Essex. I?ve never seen it, but from what I understand, it?s sort of comparable to a Real Housewife show, I think. The show follows B-list and C-list celebrity types who live in Essex, basically. Apparently, Kate ?never misses an episode.? Kate has also talked about being a big fan of Downton Abbey too. So? we know what she does all day. She watches TV. Not just TV – she watches reality shows. That would be like finding out Michelle Obama is obsessed with Days of Our Lives. Disappointing, right?
