It?s official! Reese Witherspoon gave birth to her third child on Thursday (September 27).
The 36-year-old's rep told People, ?Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today,? adding, ?Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled.?
Tennessee is the "Legally Blonde" star's first child with new hubby Jim, whom she married back in March of 2011.
Miss Witherspoon was reportedly ready to have another child after the wedding, as a source told People, ?Right after the wedding, Reese expressed a desire to have a baby with Jim. Reese has been very open with her kids about her plans to expand the family.?

Yay! I had a feeling that Reese Witherspoon would be giving birth this week. Thank God my Pregnancy Betting Pool wasn’t completely off. People Mag and Us Weekly have confirmed that Reese welcomed her third child today, Thursday. It’s a boy! This is the first child for Reese’s husband Jim Toth, and it’s Reese’s second son. We even have a name! Tennessee James Toth.
Reese Witherspoon is a mom again! The 36-year-old actress welcomed a baby boy, named Tennessee James, in a Los Angeles on Thursday Sept. 27, her tells confirms to Us Weekly:
“Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today. Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled.”
This is Witherspoon’s third child, and her first with second husband Toth; Us broke news of the Oscar-winner’s pregnancy back in March 2012.
Witherspoon shares custody of daughter Ava, 12, and son Deacon, 8, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, 37, from whom she split in 2006 after 7 years of marriage.
Toth, 41, a high-powered CAA agent, and the Water for Elephants star in March 2011 at the actress’ $10 million ranch in Ojai, Calif. (which Witherspoon recently put back on the market) after over a year of dating.

I guess the name is for Reese – she was raised in Tennessee, and she identifies herself as a Tennessee girl. It could also be an homage to Tennessee Williams too, I suppose, although Williams’ real name was Thomas. I kind of like the name… historically, I don’t have a problem with “location” names and stuff, although I still hate that Alicia Keys named her son Egypt.
Anyway, congrats to Reese, Jim and the whole family!

Reese Witherspoon has been having such a cute pregnancy this time around. I know that seems like a really vapid and superficial statement, but it?s still true. Reese has looked adorable during this, her third pregnancy. I remember her second pregnancy ? she was still really cute, but I have strong memories of her looking rather miserable. I think she?s enjoying it more this time around, in her 30s, with a husband she trusts. Anyway, these are some cute bump photos of Reese yesterday in Brentwood. I don?t know when she?s due exactly, but I?m pretty sure it?s soon. Maybe not a Virgo baby, but a Libra baby is looking pretty good. We?ll see! Every morning the past few weeks, I come into work (?stumble to my computer?) expecting to see a story about Reese?s new baby, so who knows?
Meanwhile, there?s some weird news ? Reese is selling her beloved Ojai ranch. This is the same ranch where she keeps farm animals and a chicken coop. The same ranch where she married her second husband. The same ranch where Robert Pattinson hid out after Kristen Stewart Mini-Cooper?d her married director.

Witherspoon’s ranch, which is selling for $10 million, is also full of happy memories ? for Witherspoon. It’s where the actress tied the knot with her husband Jim Toth in front of family and friends, including Robert Downey Jr., Sean Penn, Rene Zellweger and Scarlett Johansson.
The house sits on 7 acres of land and includes 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a pool, stables, an organic garden and a carriage house, according to the real estate listing on Zillow.com.
The home was featured in a recent issue of Elle Decor, where Witherspoon said, “[Libbey Ranch] reminds me of growing up in Tennessee, where we spent all day outside. I wanted my children to have that experience, to get muddy and hang out with the animals.”
And Witherspoon isn’t the only famous person to have owned the home. According to Zillow, Ghostbusters actor and director Harold Ramis also owned the home previously, as did designer and model Kathy Ireland.

I really don?t get why she?s selling it? Is she poor? No, she?s not. She can afford to keep both places. Maybe she just doesn?t have the time to enjoy her second home anymore. Maybe she?s keen on a beach pad in Malibu rather than a country ranch. Or maybe Robert Pattinson smells kind of funky and she can?t get the Sparkle-stench out of her pillows.

Getting closer and closer to the due date for her third child, Reese Witherspoon showed no signs of slowing down as she was spotted out and about in Brentwood, CA on Monday afternoon (September 17).
The "Water For Elephants" actress was a casual beauty in a blue shirt dress, fedora, and aviator sunglasses while happily making her way out of a friend's house after a quick visit.
The week-beginning outing comes amidst just-released reports telling that Reese decided to put her Ojai, CA ranch on the market - with the move coming not long after she lent the pad to "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson following the revelation of then-girlfriend Kristen Stewart's unfaithfulness.
According to a report by E! News, the 36-year-old actress' realtor, Billy Rose, says the nine-bedroom, seven-bath home (which is listed for a pricey $10 million and about 45 minutes outside of Los Angeles) is "unbelievably magical."
"It just teleports you to another time and another era," said Rose. "It's got this grand but elegant presence."

Expecting her third child very shortly, Reese Witherspoon was out and about in Brentwood, California today (September 11).
The "Legally Blonde" star chatted on her cell phone as she made her way to her vehicle in a red patterned maternity dress, black flats, and a black rimmed hat.
Though her pregnancy may soon be over, the 36-year-old actress has reportedly still been having unusual cravings.
A source told the Daily Mail, "Reese has been waking up at 3am and craving seaweed smoothies, pickles and peanut butter all together, plus chicken wings smothered in barbecue sauce."

Coming amidst recent rumors of pregnancy woes, Reese Witherspoon was joined by husband Jim Toth for a baby checkup at a hospital in Santa Monica, CA on Tuesday (August 28).
Adorned in a red and white bum-hugging top and cuffed jeans, the "Sweet Home Alabama" actress looked bubbly and beautiful as she and her hubby made their way out of the medical center hand- in-hand following the midday appointment.
As for the rumors which started swirling last week, the tabloids alleged that Reese had been rushed to the hospital on two separate occasions after a Radar Online article claimed the 36-year-old may have been having her little one sooner than expected.
However, a source close Witherspoon stepped up to clear the false information, telling E! News, "The visit is a normal thing for a lot of pregnant women and there is no drama. All parties involved are healthy and fine."

Reese Witherspoon was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night with unknown complications from her pregnancy. Reports have Reese going to the hospital Tuesday night, coming back home and then being rushed to the hospital again Wednesday, where she remains now. Reese is due in September, and Radar quotes a source who says that “At this point it looks like she might have the baby. Reese and Jim are a little worried about having the baby so early, but it’s close enough to her due date that they’re confident the baby will be just fine.” That was reassuring, but in a follow-up story they quote a source that makes it sound more serious: “Doctors have sedated Reese and they’re keen on keeping her from going into an early labor so the baby’s development will go to full term.” Reese’s husband Jim is said to be very worried, but Reese is a trooper and is “trying to keep him calm.” That’s so funny to me, I’m not trying to make light of the situation but my husband was in a similar state when I went into labor. Radar’s source has Reese remaining in the hospital for some time.
All of these stories make me worry a little for Reese and her baby, but E! has a source probably on Reese’s team who says that “everything is fine.” Phew:
Everything is fine and there’s nothing to report, a source assured E! News in response to, well, a report that the Oscar winner was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital last night and again today because she was experiencing complications.
“The visit is a normal thing for a lot of pregnant women and there is no drama,” the insider added. “All parties involved are healthy and fine.” Reese was also photographed out yesterday going to lunch before she went to the hospital.
Sure enough, Witherspoon looked picture-perfect yesterday at the Brentwood restaurant Tavern. The New Orleans native was the quintessential California girl, sporting shades and a form-hugging black wrap dress that showed off her tan lines.
Her third child?and first with agent hubby Jim Toth?is due early next month. So, while the little Totherspoon could arrive any day…
There’s no cause for alarm in the meantime.

I don’t really get the denial. So Reese is fine and her hospital visit was routine, but is she still in the hospital now? It’s understandable that her rep doesn’t want to reveal those details, but I tend to believe Radar’s story that she’s still in the hospital being monitored. Whatever is going on, I hope that Reese and her baby are happy and healthy. I’m excited for her and hope it all goes smoothly!

Looking breezy and content, Reese Witherspoon headed to the Art Institute in North Hollywood for a meeting on Friday (August 10).
The "Legally Blonde" star wore a pretty purple sleeveless dress covering her bulging baby bump, sandals, and an off-white handbag.
We've seen a lot of the 36-year-old star lately as she's been spotted all over town taking care of business. From grocery shopping, to filming scenes for "The Devil's Knot," to even working out at the gym, the pregnant powerhouse isn't slowing down.
And now, the busy mother of two has signed up to produce and star in the comedy "The Beard," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Though no plot details have been released, the title refers to the nickname for a woman who dates a man to hide his sexual orientation.

Stepping out for an afternoon of errands, Reese Witherspoon paid a visit to a Whole Foods grocery store in Santa Monica yesterday (August 8).
The pregnant "Water For Elephants" actress looked beautiful in a knee length red dress that accented her growing belly as she grabbed some healthy items while chatting on the phone. From there, Reese made a stop at a local medical building for a regular checkup.
Meanwhile, it looks like Ms. Witherspoon has picked up yet another movie gig- according to a report, Reese will take part in the new romantic comedy, "The Beard," and not just as a starring role, but also as a a producer.
Apparently the title has nothing to do with facial hair, but instead refers to a woman who is acting the part of a date for a gay person to give the assumption that the person is not gay. At this time no other details of the film have yet to be released.
