The actress, who recently showed off her amazing belly-dancing skills for a video art piece, wore a floor-length Pink Gucci gown with red accents and accessories to the red carpet of the event honoring artist James Turrell and Mexican director Alejandro Gonzlez Irritu. The actress and producer brought her husband along for the ride, but we almost missed him as we were enthralled by her stunning outfit, fresh and natural makeup, and curly hair.

Everyone loves a cuddly furry friend, and Salma Hayek experience a cuteness overload while hanging out with Jimmy Fallon on ?The Tonight Show? last night (August 6).
The ?From Dusk til Dawn? actress was in the house to promote her new film ?The Prophet,? also starring Liam Neeson and John Krasinski, but before long she found herself beneath a littler of adorable golden retriever puppies.
Hayek and Fallon engaged in a few intense rounds of ?Pup Quiz,? during which the winner won an actual puppy. And in the end, Salma emerged from the Final Pupardy round victorious!

Salma Hayek has been doing the press rounds for a few weeks because she?s promoting her new animated film adaptation of Kahlil Gibran?s The Prophet. Salma produced it and voices one of the major characters. During the promotion, Salma has touched on some political stuff (she doesn?t care for Donald Trump) and some personal stuff (like how her husband called her ?lazy? after she gave birth to Valentina). Salma sat down this week with the Associated Press and she ended up saying something really judgy about childfree women. I think? Here are some assorted quotes:

I?m trying to figure out why Salma Hayek looks weird/bad in these photos? I think it?s the combination of terrible makeup and flat hair. Salma has great hair, so I don?t know why she chose the same hairstyle that I use to wash my face at night. I also don?t get the red/pink eye makeup ? it makes everyone look sickly. Anyway, these are some photos of Salma on the red carpet for the LA premiere of The Prophet. Salma has been doing the press rounds and she has a lot of thoughts about Donald Trump and racism. Some highlights:
On Donald Trump?s comments about Mexicans: ?I’m aware that he would say anything to attract attention and create the publicity around him. If something generates publicity, I would never be surprised about anything he does.”
She won?t say his name: Hayek refuses to “say his name” because she doesn’t want to give the presidential hopeful any “extra publicity?I’d be surprised if he did something courageous and meaningful that nobody found out about. This was not courageous and meaningful.”
Racism in America, Sandra Bland?s death: “We have a big problem. I think that this is the big elephant in the room. Because there were many years where people were saying, ‘Oh, racism is over in America.’ And, ‘America is very inclusive.’ And I think in the last couple of years, more and more, we’re realizing that that is a lie and that this is a very big problem that we need to deal with.”

I think it?s a decent stand to take to refuse to say Trump?s name, although the argument I make when I?m covering him is that we need to shine a very bright light on just how crazy, stupid and horrible he is. I think both arguments are valid though ? if Salma doesn?t want to say his name, so be it. As for Salma?s remarks about racism? I think she?s right. I think the ?post-racial America? thing was always a pipe dream. My only real complaint is that I don?t believe America is the only country struggling with deep racial divides, although that?s the way the international press covers it.

Some of you believe that Salma Hayek has had some work done. The theories about Salma?s alleged plastic surgery seem to center around a possible nose job done when she was quite young ? go here to see a side-by-side ? and possibly undergoing some kind of breast augmentation. As I?m looking through the photos, I believe the nose job theory more than the bolt-on story. Sometimes women gain and lose weight in their breasts and sometimes a woman goes up in size ? without pregnancy/nursing ? in her 20s for no reason (that happened to me). I bring up the plastic surgery rumors because I wanted to ask you guys something: does Salma get lipo? Because she claims she doesn?t exercise at all, and now I really wonder if she?s getting lipo.
There are those who have the motivation to hit the gym before dawn, and then there are those who are BFFs with their snooze buttons. Salma Hayek falls into the latter camp.
?Some people have the discipline to exercise in the morning, and I didn?t develop that,? the 48-year-old actress admits in this week?s issue of PEOPLE.
In fact, because her schedule is so hectic ? she usually works at least 16 hours a day ? Hayek rarely squeezes in a gym session. ?I don?t have time to exercise. I am working,? she says. ?I?ve had some 20-hour days.?
So how does she manage to stay in such great shape?
?I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long,? Hayek confesses. ?So even when you brush your teeth, you?re working the muscles.?
But walking around with activated muscles 24/7 sounds exhausting! ?It?s restorative yoga,? she explains. ?She taught me to tone [my muscles] without clenching them. You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never with tension. If you?re aware of your body, you?d be surprised by the effect it can have.?

Well, ?I know how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long? is a more original excuse than ?I just drink lots of water.? The super-rich really aren?t like us at all. It?s not even about surgery, exercise, good diet or anything like that. Salma is so rich she can maintain her crazy hourglass figure just by thinking about her body and holding her body in a certain way. So, yeah, I am thinking she?s getting lipo on the reg.

Here are some assorted photos from Cannes? Day 2 ? I covered the Mad Max: Fury Road premiere photos in two other posts. These photos are just the stragglers at other events. Salma Hayek was the queen of everything at the late premiere of Tale of Tales, the bizarre-sounding fairy tale movie by an Italian director. Yesterday, I covered the photocall pics ? go here to see. Salma wore Alexander McQueen for both the photocall and the premiere, although I liked her pretty little floral dress at the photocall a lot better than the premiere gown. This McQueen is being called ?flamenco inspired? which I can see. I just don?t think it?s a great dress overall though.
Here?s Salma?s costar Vincent Cassel (that man is The Sex) and Salma?s husband Francois, both at the Tale of Tales premiere.
Miranda Kerr in a David Koma ensemble for a photocall for Magnum Ice Cream. Seriously. Miranda gets paid to go to Cannes and promote ice cream. Sure. This ensemble is cute enough, but the shoes kind of ruin it.
Then Miranda attended an evening red carpet/party, also for Magnun Ice Cream. This Pink Ungaro is pretty, I guess, but Miranda?s bolt-ons were falling out all over the place.

Eva Longoria ? a Cannes regular because of her contract with L?Oreal ? wore this silver Georges Hobeika gown to the Global Gift gala. I kind of like the gown, but Eva is looking? different? Is it Botox? Or just too much makeup?
