French news magazine Le Point reports that Salma Hayek and her baby’s daddy, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault and owner of Le Point, were wed in central Paris on Saturday. People points out that they called off their engagement last July but, as it often does, two trips to Paris helped rekindle the romance.
Aww. Fairy tales do come true. It must have been tough for these two to overcome their differences. What with Salma being a millionaire and Francois being a billionaire. One eats with a golden spoon and the other has someone else feed them with a golden spoon. They’re from two different worlds really.

The Times is reporting that Salma Hayek allegedly married on Saturday in Paris:
Mexican-born actress Salma Hayek has married French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, reports the online edition of the weekly Le Point reported.
According to the report, the 42-year old Hayek, who is a naturalised US citizen, and Pinault, 46, were married on Valentines Day in the city hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in central Paris.
The news, if confirmed, comes as something of a surprise, because the star of the films Frida and Bandidas and Pinault had announced the end of their engagement in July last year.
On September 21, 2007, while engaged to Pinault, Hayek gave birth to her first child, Valentina Paloma Pinault, in Los Angeles.
Pinault is CEO of the luxury giant PPR and the son of one of France?s richest men, Francois Pinault, whose fortune has been estimated at $16.9 billion by the 2008 Forbes List of Billionaires. He also owns the publication Le Point, which broke the story
I’d love to get video footage of those two fighting. You’d have Salma shrieking away in Spanish, possibly throwing bric-a-brac at Pinault’s follicly-challenged head, and him cursing at her in French, hand on hip and gesticulating into the air with the other hand.
Now, if love can’t conquer all the turmoil their relationship has been through, then there’s two things that has been proven time and time again to do the trick: a fabulous rack and big bucks! Viva la romance!

Salma Hayek and the father of her baby, billionaire Franois-Henri Pinault, announced last summer that they were ending their engagement. They’ve been seen out together since, but Pinault was also photographed making out with another woman late last summer and it was thought that they were remaining friendly for the sake of their daughter, Valentina Paloma, one and a half.
Salma told David Letterman during an appearance on the Late Show in mid January that she didn’t know when she would marry Pinault, and was pretty vague about it. When asked “Is there going to be a wedding?” she answered “I don?t know, maybe, but then again, maybe not.?
After a whirlwind on-again romance, Pinault and Hayek have unexpectedly tied the knot. The two were married on Valentine’s Day in Paris.

Hayek, 42, and Pinault, 46, were married on Saturday ? St. Valentine’s Day ? in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in central Paris, according to the publication, which is owned by the Pinault family.
Sixth Arrondissement Mayor Jean-Pierre Lecoq subsequently confirmed the report to the French news agency Agence France-Presse.
There had been recent reports that the couple ? whose daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault, was born in Los Angeles in September 2007 ? had reunited after they had called off their marital engagement in July 2008.
The two had originally announced their engagement in March 2007.
Friends of the couple tell PEOPLE that a Paris trip in September (when Hayek attended the Balenciaga fashion show) and another in November helped rekindle the pair’s relationship. Adds a source, they were “very evidently in love with each other, very affectionate in public” together at the Dubai Film Festival in December.
Only last week, Hayek, who’s been appearing on NBC’s 30 Rock, told TV host Rachael Ray that when she kisses Alec Baldwin on the show, “I keep telling Francois, ‘I imagine I was kissing you.’ ”
Pinault is CEO of the luxury giant PPR and the son of one of France’s richest men, Francois Pinault, whose fortune last year was estimated to be $16.9 billion by Forbes magazine.

She’s always been a very generous lady, and earlier today Salma Hayek went way above the call of duty when she met a starving baby in Sierra Leone.
The “From Dusk til Dawn” babe was touring a hospital when she discovered a mother who could no longer feed her baby boy.

Salma Hayek has spoken about her daughter on Rachel Ray’s TV show, saying that she is convinced she has a sixth sense and sees ghosts.
The actress also has her hands full with Valentina, her daughter with (Francois-Henri) Pinault. At 16 months, the girl already is trilingual ? she speaks English, Spanish and French ? and seems to have developed a sixth sense.
“Last night she saw a ghost. I’m convinced,” says Hayek, “Last night she woke up and her eyes were open. And she’s looking at one specific point and she’s going, ‘No no no no, au revoir,’ which means goodbye in French … And she’s looking at someone, but there’s no one there.
I was so scared, and I’m like, ‘Yes, au revoir, whoever you are, get out!’ And then she started saying it in English: ‘Bye bye, bye bye!’ I guess she was trying in different languages to see what nationality this ghost was to go away. It was terrifying!”

I can’t believe little Valentina is trilingual, and can say ‘goodbye’, ‘au revoir’ and ‘no’. I have a child exactly the same age as Valentina, and she says ‘juice’. That’s it. She also doesn’t say it with meaning, anything can be juice.
This story reminded me that when I was a child I used to have dreams about things that were about to happen. For example, I once had a dream about a fire at the end of my street, then a few days later the shops at the end of the street did burn down. And no, I didn’t light the fire! Various people I know claim to have had similar experiences when they were small, but not as adults - are children just more open to this? Psychics often suggest that only people that have open minds about ghosts and fairies will actually see these things.
So, while some of you might think Salma is crazy, perhaps Valentina did see a ghost. Obviously her language skills aren’t up to explaining to Salma what she did see - unless she was trying to tell her mother to go away.

On a recent UNICEF fact-finding trip to Sierra Leone, Salma Hayek nursed a starving baby back to health with her own breast milk. God damn. Sierra Leone always gets the good stuff.
Appearing on Thursday’s (05Feb09) Today show in America, Hayek simply nodded as host Kathie Lee Gifford asked, “You found a child that was starving to death, the mother had no milk - and you nursed that baby?” And then said, “It’s about women sticking together and we really need to help the children in any way we can.”
When asked for comment, the mother said, “That wasn’t a baby. That was a hairless Sierra Leone sewer rat!” And so began “Scary Stories 5: Celebrity Edition”.

Actress Salma Hayek gave not only of her time and her money on a recent mission trip to Afrcia — she also gave of her breasts. Yep, you read that right. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. According to USA Today
“[There was this] baby [that] was perfectly healthy, but the mother didn’t have milk. He was very hungry. I was weaning Valentina, but I still had a lot of milk that I was pumping, so I breast-fed the baby. You should have seen his eyes. When he felt the nourishment, he immediately stopped crying.”
That little trick doesn’t just work with babies, you know. It works with men, too. Whenever they start whinin’ and bitchin’ about something ridiculous, just pop a titty1 out and shove it in their stupid face until they stop making noise. It usually takes about two or three minutes, depending on their lung capacity, and it helps to have already taped his hands to the couch. And you also have to make sure your areola is covering both the nostrils and the mouth hole, or it won’t work. You know you’re golden when the feet stop twitching. Presto! Now the bastard will never bother you again. We could all learn a lesson in kindness from Salma Hayek.

Salma Hayek and Colin Farrell were seen kissing backstage at the Golden Globes, and Star Magazine reports that it looked like more than just a friendly kiss. The two were linked in 2004 when they were shooting scenes as lovers for the film Ask The Dust.
Salma Hayek… and Colin Farrell won most attention-grabbing couple honors at the Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 11! “While they were both backstage, he held her face and kissed her several times,” a source tells Star. “It was very intimate, not like they were pals.”…
[They] hooked up while shooting Ask The Dust in 2004! “Colin was in love with her but was too screwed up on booze and drugs to make a good boyfriend to her,” reveals another source. “Now that he’s sober, their chances are so much better.”

Colin denied the rumors that he was with Salma while they were working on Ask The Dust, but he did admit to doing a sexy little naked dance for her on set to help her feel more comfortable before a love scene. He admitted he didn’t have to be naked, and said that since she had to strip down, he was doing it out of solidarity. Colin also gave Salma a rare first edition of the novel the film was based on as a gift after their scenes wrapped.
Colin had just nabbed an unexpected best actor Globe the night he and Salma were supposedly spotted kissing backstage. This news is in Star Magazine, and if it did happen he could have just been overwhelmed and sharing his joy with a (sexy) former co-star. You could tell how emotional he was in his cute flowery speech - he even told the director he loved him.
Salma is rumored to be back with her ex fiance and the father of her baby, billionaire Franois-Henri Pinault. That could have to do with the fact that they’ve maintained a friendly relationship for the sake of their daughter, Valentina Paloma, 16 months, but it sounds like more than that. Salma and Franois-Henri were spotted out at Tao restaurant in New York recently, with the latest issue of US reporting that they shared “three bottles of wine and sake” after which Salma was spotted dancing on her table. On an appearance on The Late Show two weeks ago, Salma was pretty vague about potential wedding plans when Letterman pressed her about it. He asked “Is there going to be a wedding?” and Salma responded “I don?t know, maybe, but then again, maybe not.”
Colin was last known to be dating British novelist Emma Forrest, but he keeps his personal life quiet and it’s hard to tell if they’re still together. I would love to see Colin settle down and have more kids, but it’s doubtful that he’ll be blending his family with Salma’s any time soon.

Retuning back home to Los Angeles following a trip to New York City for The National Board of Review Awards, Salma Hayek was spotted landing with daughter Valentina at LAX Airport on Tuesday (January 19).
The “Frida” beauty toted her little girl in her arms as she passed through the terminal and loaded her up into an awaiting SUV, proceeding to play a game of peek-a-boo to her daughter’s liking.
