Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Salma Hayek was spotted at the Bid to Save the Earth green auction at Christie?s in New York City last night (April 22).
Joined by her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, the ?Desperado? actress looked fantastic in a simple black dress as she posed for the press.
And it sounds like the Christie?s auction went a long way in raising awareness and funds for various environmental causes.
According to a report, the evening raised over $2 million, and the silent auction may raise an additional million dollars when it closes in May.

Meanwhile, Miss Hayek is looking forward to the June 25 release of her new movie "Grown Ups," which co-stars Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Steve Buscemi.
The comedy flick is about five good friends and former teammates who reunite for a Fourth of July holiday weekend after their ex-coach passes away.

The “Frida” beauty toted her little angel in her arms as they visited a medical building in Beverly Hills for a doctor checkup.
Over the weekend, Miss Hayek was among the plethora of stars taking part in the Oscar festivities.
On Sunday night (March 7), the brunette beauty hit up the 18th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party at the Pacific Design Center before paying a visit to the 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Graydon Carter over at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

Out for some celebratory fun, Salma Hayek attended the “Dora The Explorer” 10th Anniversary Celebration at Nickelodeon Animation Studio on Tuesday (March 2).
The “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” babe looked gorgeous in a navy dress as she posed for pictures, made a speech and even read a “Dora” book aloud to the audience.
On the career front, the Spanish actress is staying quite busy - she has a new film called the “Grown Ups” coming out this June, followed by another flick called “Puss in Boots” hitting theaters sometime in 2011.
Furthermore, Ms Hayek is not slowing down one bit. According to imdb’s website, she is in talks for several other films as well called “La banda,” “Diego Ascending,” “Bones Family,” and “Wild Roses, Tender Roses.”
