Doing a little holiday shopping, Salma Hayek was spotted at the Dolls Frimousses De Createurs 2010 Auction yesterday in Paris, France.
Joined by her husband Francois-Henri Pinault and their daughter Valentina, the ?Desperado? actress looked lovely as she mingled at the UNICEF benefit event at Drouot Montaigne.
In a recent interview, Salma confessed that prior to her massive success as an actress she spent some time in the USA illegally.
?I was an illegal immigrant in the United States. It was for a small period of time, but I still did it. I had to endure the worst time of all in terms of racial discrimination in Hollywood when I first started out. It was inconceivable to American directors and producers that a Mexican woman could have a lead role.?
?Hollywood has definitely grown, in embracing the inclusion of Latinos in the world because, for some time, we didn't exist. We were not part of any stories.?

Set to begin a new project, Salma Hayek is bringing the telenovela back to ABC.
The ?Bandidas? babe and producer, Jose Tamez, are in talks to develop a US version of the Argentinian limited drama series, ?Los Roldan.?
Ms Hayek will be working with ?Ugly Betty? writer Veronica Becker along with Sarah Kucserka, who will work as a writer and producer of the project.
?Los Roldan? is about a working-class man who saves the life of a woman, who then hires him to run her company- much the digression of her family, according to Variety.

In career news, Salma will be starring alongside the ?Bad Man of Bollywood? Gulshan Grover in the upcoming flick ?Driver.?
In addition, stars like Will Smith, Whoopi Goldberg, Janet Jackson, and Queen Latifah will make cameo appearances in the film.

Getting in as much fashion as possible, the couple, who married in February 2009, attended the Balenciaga Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 show at the end of last week.
Just yesterday, the two were spotted at the Stella McCartney Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show along with fellow guests such as Liv Tyler.

She?s always been a lover of fashion, and Salma Hayek was spotted leaving the Balenciaga Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 show in Paris, France on Thursday (September 30).
The ?Bandidas? babe was looking sharp as she walked out of the show hand-in-hand with hubby, Francois-Henri Pinault.
The previous day, Salma and daughter Valentina met up with good friend Halle Berry and her new beau, Olivier Martinez, as the attractive group strolled along the Chateau de la Mormaire, just west of Versailles.
Later in the night, the good friends enjoyed some pre-dinner fun at Hayek?s apartment in the City of Lights before heading off for a fancy feast at Restaurant Thoumieux.

The ?Desperado? dame looked to be in good spirits as she led her little girl to the Los Angeles school, sporting a white top, dark trousers, sunglasses, and a light fedora.
When it comes to raising Valentina, Salma says she tries to make sure there is plenty of discipline in her house.
