Hot on the promotional trail, Salma Hayek was accompanied by her daughter, Valentina, while making her way around New York City on Tuesday evening (June 22).
Though the Mexican beauty tried to cover her little angel's face from camera view, Valentina had other ideas - as she proudly smiled it up for awaiting photographers.
Miss Hayek is in the Big Apple as she gears up for the June 25th release of her new movie "Grown Ups," which stars Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, Kevin James and Rob Schneider.
Talking about the flick, Salma recently told press, "I love this film because I think the audience is going to be able to add themselves to our experience and bond with us because being a parent is one of the most common, shared experiences, and is something that is so important. Every single character in this movie really cares about their family, and they?re all so different. I think that the audience is really going to identify with everyone."
The 43-year-old continues, "Adam has done a large variety of films, but I think women are going to love this one because they?re going to identify with us and our conflicts in our own marriages, and our relationships with our children. I really think that it was important that we all had a similar experience, as actors, because we bring that to the table."

While most celebrities prefer the finer things when it comes to cuisine, Salma Hayek is happy to dine on insects.
During her interview on ?The Late Show with David Letterman,? the ?From Dusk Til Dawn? babe confessed her love for munching on bugs. While discussing her penchant for grasshoppers, Salma exclaimed, "Look, I'm salivating. They're delicious."
She added, "These little ants fried are amazing ? with a little guacamole. And the worms ? there are many different recipes for those.
The little grasshoppers have a smoky flavor to them. It's the way they cook them, and it's really good."

Stepping out to fulfill a promotional duty, Salma Hayek was spotted heading to the ?Late Show With David Letterman? in New York City earlier today (June 21).
Looking cute in jeans, heels, a white top and blazer, the Mexican-born actress smiled politely for the snapping photogs just before entering the Ed Sullivan Theatre.
Ms Hayek is paying a visit to Mr Letterman to promote her latest flick, ?Grown Ups? which will be hitting US theaters on June 25.
In the film, Salma plays a character named Roxanne Chase-Feder and involves five good friends and former teammates who reunite for a Fourth of July holiday weekend after their former basketball coach passes away.

She?s managed to juggle her career and motherhood nicely so far, but Salma Hayek admits the trying schedule is finally taking its toll.
The ?Bandidas? babe tells, ?I don?t have a lot of time anymore so I know my friends have suffered from trying to juggle everything, like your social life suffers a little bit, definitely. Every parent will tell you that.?
Salma ? who raises daughter Valentina with her French billionaire husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, adds, ?I was at one point in my life very involved with social causes and as passionate as I am about it I remember I almost had to be?I?m still involved but it?s almost like a choice, now I have a family and it?s important to me. I have to do this for myself but of course there?s just so much you can do sometimes.?
The beautiful actress also recently revealed that she took Valentina to work everyday while she filmed her new movie ?Grown Ups? alongside Adam Sandler.
?We all brought our children to the set,? she said. ?Adam Sandler makes it the dream environment to bring children. They are so highly entertained that you?re nervous when you get back home. How are you going to entertain your child??

Salma Hayek is at the Cannes Film Festival, living it up and partying, showing up to various red carpets decked out in gowns and jewels and wearing her favorite accessory, her billionaire husband Francois-Henri Pinault. There?s even buzz about Salma making some kind of career-comeback, but we?ll see. Meanwhile, Salma is the June cover girl for InStyle Magazine, and in the interview she spoke about how her daughter Valentina asked her to change her name to Pinault, and how Valentina is the reason Salma won?t be going into space anytime soon:
The Mexican beauty welcomed a daughter, Valentina, with Francois-Henri Pinault in September 2007, and married the French fashion executive 17 months later. But the tot was becoming curious as to why her parents didn’t share the same last name - and the innocent question convinced her mum to make the switch.
The actress tells U.S. magazine InStyle, “It was Valentina’s request. I didn’t think about it until she brought it up. We were shooting a film, and she saw my chair with my name on it. She says, ‘What does it say there?’ And I said, ‘Salma Hayek.’ And she said, ‘What about Pinault? Why not Pinault?’ Because people here (in France) say ‘Madame Pinault.’”
And Hayek is thrilled to show her solidarity with her family as she continues her new life in France.
She explains, “I said to myself, ‘This is who I am now. I’m starting a whole new life. I’ve never been happier. Why shouldn’t I share it with the people who have been supporting me my whole career, who have been with me since the beginning?’
“I’m a private person, but I should let them in on the fact that I’m a different person, and a better person. It’s a new life.”
The actress insists she’s “not much” of a risk-taker since she welcomed daughter Valentina in September 2007, with her husband, French fashion executive Francois-Henri Pinault. And she’s given up many dangerous thrill-seeking adventures - including a once-in-a-lifetime chance to orbit the planet with the Virgin boss’ spaceliner, due to launch next year.
She tells U.S. magazine InStyle, “I love scuba diving and used to dive where the sharks were, and now? No more sharks. Everything became about the baby. You are in second position, or third… My dream was to go into space. I reserved my place with the Virgin (Galactic) expedition. And then I got pregnant. And now I’m a mother. So I’m not going to go.”

CB generally thinks Salma is full of sh-t and full of herself, but I?ve always had a haphazard love for Salma. Yes, she?s full of herself, but she seems like a throwback to the movie stars of the 1940s and 1950s, the goddesses who had reason to be full of themselves. Personally, I don?t buy that Valentina - at the age of 2 years old, if that - would be all ?Mommy, why didn?t you take your husband?s last name?? Like she?s a little Miss Manners or something. I think Salma took the Pinault name because she married a f-cking billionaire and why the f-ck not?

Kicking off the first day of the Cannes Film Festival with the ?Robin Hood? premiere, Salma Hayek was spotted walking the red carpet earlier today (May 12).
The beautiful Mexican actress looked elegant in the very first couture gown from Gucci Premiere collection designed by Creative Director Friday Giannini.
The dazzling gown features deep red crystal embroidery at the shoulder and waist, and to complete the look, Ms Hayek chose a Gucci black satin peep toe heel and black satin clutch.
The ?Robin Hood? premiere is the first of many over the course of the annual 12-day festival in Nice, France.
