These are some new photos of Salma Hayek and her billionaire husband Franois-Henri Pinault out and about in LA over the weekend. According to Fame Pictures, they played tennis with some friends, then did some shopping at Whole Foods. While I don?t find Pinault to be unattractive, I just don?t think Salma and Pinault go together aesthetically, and it?s pretty obvious that ?Oh yeah, I bet he?s rich. Really rich.? Also: Salma plays tennis?!?! With those boobs?? Dear God. THAT is how she landed a billionaire husband.
You know how else she landed a billionaire? By being very forgiving, and looking the other way when it suits her. Like, Salma has been photographed solo several times over the past month, but this is (I think) the first time Salma and Francois-Henri have made a public appearance together since the Linda Evangelista thing blew up all over the place. A few months ago, it was revealed that Linda?s four-year-old son Augie was actually fathered by Pinault. The revelation came about because Linda has taken the whole mess to the French courts, where she?s trying to get Pinault to pay child support for little Augie. Unfortunately, bitch is kind of crazy, and she?s asking for $46,000 a month from Pinault. I still think that?s a crazy amount, but most of you were like, ?Well, that?s what Valentina is getting.? Still, be reasonable, please. Anyway, there?s a totally random and probably untrue report about how Salma is really pissed off about this Linda situation:
Two of the world?s most beautiful women are at each other?s throats in a Hollywood love triangle turned nasty. An Oscar-nominated movie star with an adorable young daughter and a billionaire husband, Salma Hayek thought she was living the dream. That is, until five weeks ago, when her marriage to fashion mogul Francois-Henri Pinault was turned upside down by the revelation he had fathered a love child with supermodel Linda Evangelista.
Friends say Salma, 44, was initially devastated by the news. But now that Linda, 46, has turned such a private matter into a public scandal by taking the Frenchman to court, demanding a staggering $46,000 a month in child support, the Mexican beauty is incandescent with rage.
A close friend says, ?Salma is absolutely livid. The money Linda is asking for is absolutely crazy ? it is clearly just Linda?s way of sticking the knife in because Francois-Henri chose Salma over her. Salma is so angry, she wants to scratch Linda?s eyes out!?
Linda claims she needs almost $600,000 a year to pay for 24-hour nannies, armed chauffeurs and other staff she and her four-year-old son Augustin cannot do without. If Linda, who?s worth more than $8 million, is successful, it will be one of the world?s most expensive child-support settlements ? and Francois-Henri, who is worth an estimated $11.5 billion, is fighting the pay-out to the end.

So Salma went from shock that her husband fathered a child around the same time that he was romancing her (Salma), and she just blames Linda? Doubtful. Of course, I tend to think that Salma has known about Linda for a while, so I don?t think there was much ?shock? to the paternity going public.

It?s no secret that Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault had some tough times at the outset of their relationship, but now it has been discovered that Pinault fathered a child during a break from Hayek.
According to a report, the French businessman knocked up supermodel Linda Evangelista back in 2006 and she now has a 4-year-old son.
This could spell d-r-a-m-a for Salma and Francois-Henri, though they?ve been solid since getting hitched in 2009 after several previous breakups.
Hayek and Pinault have an adorable daughter named Valentina Paloma Pinault, who was born in September of 2007. Pinault also has two other children from a previous marriage.

Getting all dressed up for an exquisite evening overseas, Salma Hayek joined Francois-Henri Pinault in attending the "Il Mondo Vi Appartiene" Exhibition Opening in Venice, Italy on Wednesday (June 1).
Held as part of the 54th International Art Biennale at Palazzo Grassi, the "Puss in Boots" beauty and her business mogul beau turned up with daughter Valentina in tow while joining Joana Vasconcelos at the artsy ceremony.
Once finished up, Miss Hayek passed her growing girl over to nannies while tossing on a sexier frock for a late dinner party following the exhibition opening.
The festivities were organized by Caroline Bourgeois, with the function put together to put the spotlight on the works of 39 artists from spanning generations in a comparative focused effort.

Bringing her effortless Hollywood glamor center stage, Salma Hayek arrived to the Opening Ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival alongside husband Francois-Henri Pinault earlier today (May 11).
The Mexican-born actress modeled her famously-fabulous figure for the cameras, wearing a showstopping, flowing, silver strapless gown while also joined by Antonio Banderas and his lady, Melanie Griffith.
Salma and Antonio took the event by storm earlier in the morning, arriving at a photocall for their upcoming animated picture "Puss in Boots" by water in a giant pair of floating black boots.
Hayek, who voices Kitty Softpaws in the "Shrek" spin-off, revealed the reason for taking the role while chatting with ET, telling, "I have a child now, so I was very tickled by the idea of me being in one of those movies that she watches thousands of times. ? It's very exciting to get rid of your body and just work with your voice."

It?s one of the most beloved events in the movie industry, and earlier today the 64th Cannes International Film Festival got underway.
The Opening Ceremony was nothing short of fabulous, with stars from all over the globe converging on the Palais des Festivals.
?Cape Fear? actor/Cannes juror Robert De Niro looked dapper in a black tuxedo as he chatted with fellow attendees.
Also in the house were jurors Uma Thurman and Jude Law, as well as super hot model Karolina Kurkova.

These are some new photos of Antonio Banderas and Salma ?Carmen Miranda Ain?t Got Nothing On Me? Hayek doing a photo call thing at the Cannes Film Festival today. Both Antonio and Salma are doing voice work for the new Shrek spinoff animated film, Puss in Boots. Can I just say? I?m THRILLED that Puss got a spinoff. He?s hilarious and wonderful, and Antonio?s voice work for the character is lovely. Anyway, Salma and Antonio sat down from some wonderful interviews to promote the film - which is out in November. Here?s a good one:
Getting older in Hollywood and being Hispanic, they are no longer the limitations they once were, say Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek. After all, they wonder, when have Hispanic actors ever landed such big feline roles as the leads in the animated adventure ?Puss in Boots??
?When I started out, Hispanic roles were very limited,? Hayek said Wednesday at the Cannes Film Festival, where she and Banderas joined DreamWorks Animation overseers to show off footage of ?Puss in Boots,? a ?Shrek? spinoff coming this November. ?Roles were very limited. There were one or two kinds of characters you used to do. Now we get to play the cats! It?s OK to be a Hispanic, even if you are a cat.?
?Cats were British, normally,? Banderas added at a question-and-answer session alongside Hayek after the footage screened.
?I feel very proud, actually,? Banderas said of his role in expanding the types of parts open to Hispanic performers. ?I never pretended when I first went to Hollywood to be a guy from Oklahoma. I am what I am. And fortunately, the Spanish community in the United States has grown in the last 22 years that I have been there. There has been an explosion in Hollywood, which is a reflection of the society in which we live.?
After the footage showed, Banderas and Hayek headed to a pier along the Mediterranean beach, where they posed for photos on a giant pair of boots bearing the movie?s title. Banderas reprises his voice role from the last three ?Shrek? films, providing the voice of Puss in Boots, the tiny cat with the big heart, big ideas and bigger ego.
A prequel chronicling Puss? adventures before meeting ogre Shrek, the movie has the cat as an outlaw, looking to pull off a big score. But his scheme is interrupted by another calculating cat, Kitty Softpaws (voiced by Hayek), who is in league with Puss? pal-turned-foe Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis), as they try to swipe the magic beans of the ?Jack and the Beanstalk? fairy tale from beastly bandits Jack and Jill (Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris).
Age is another Hollywood barrier Banderas and Hayek feel they have skirted.
Banderas proudly called out his age, 50, while Hayek, 44, said this is the best time in her career, with four movies in the works this year and the work more enjoyable than ever.
?What makes you feel old is when you are not excited about life. You are not excited anymore about what you do, and you cannot do it as well,? Hayek said. ?I do feel my body beginning to ? like, I need glasses now when I read my scripts. I wear them, but I?m happy to wear them and happy that I still get to read my scripts. So it?s not been so bad. They scared me. They told me, ?Forget it. At 30, it?s over for you.? And it has not been the case. It feels great to age in Hollywood.?

When I?m voicing my mother?s cats? personalities (you know how you do, don?t judge me), they always talk like snobbish little kids.
