This is like something from a Saturday Night Live skit. The thing is, when I first read the headline ?Kylie Jenner throws a Handmaid?s Tale-themed party,? I truly normalized it to the point where I was like ?there?s some justification here, like the proceeds to the party go towards Planned Parenthood or something.? But no. This was not a fundraiser party to draw awareness to how reproductive rights are under attack. This was a birthday party in which a handful of vapid, illiterate rich girls thought it would be funny to dress up as fictional ?handmaids? and put the whole thing on social media. I told you, it?s like an SNL skit.
Kylie Jenner is receiving harsh criticism after she and Sofia Richie dressed up in costumes from The Handmaids Tale for a themed party over the weekend. Jenner, 21, took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday to share a snap of herself and Richie (who is dating her sister, Kourtney Kardashians ex, Scott Disick) wearing red outfits for a bash at her Calabasas, California, home.
The event was in honor of Jenners pal, Anastasia Stassie Karanikolaous, birthday; the reality star decked out her abode to look like Gilead, the fictional setting of the popular Hulu series, and served cocktails with names like praise be vodka, and under his eyes tequila.
However, not everyone was impressed by the pals appearing to glamorize a show which highlights serious issues like womens rights violations. I honestly believe Kylie Jenner did NOT understand The Handmaids Tale if shes throwing a themed party about it, wrote one Twitter user. But why is Kylie Jenner having a Handmaids Tale party she does realize it?s about rape & oppression right? questioned another.

I found this video (below) where Kylie tells a friend that they?re going to watch the first episode, which? maybe Kylie and her friends are truly watching A Handmaid?s Tale and this themed birthday party coincided with the premiere of Season 3? I mean, anything is possible. But I genuinely think that Kylie and her friends were like ?cool handmaid?s tale cloaks, great theme for a cocktail party!? Wrong moment, chicas.

Kylie Jenner only admitted to doing lip injections years after the fact. She also recently admitted to getting fillers, although she couched that admission with this: ?People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false. I?m terrified! I would never. They don?t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do.? Yeah? I still don?t believe that. I mean, I believe a lot of the changes in Kylie?s whole look was the product of temporary fillers and lip injections and such. But she?s also had a lot of plastic surgery too, especially on her body. People don?t talk about how she grew a Khloe-style Pinocchio Butt overnight, but that really happened. My point is that if Kylie?s face and body have been constructed by professionals. So what do you make of this?
Kylie Jenner opened up about how she got her ?body back? just over a year after welcoming daughter Stormi Webster. While filming an Instagram Live video on Tuesday, a fan asked the 21-year-old makeup mogul, who has been flaunting a taut tummy on social media, for weight loss tips.
?It?s all about diet for me,? Kylie said in the video. ?I?m naturally just a really skinny person. But not like [sister] Kendall. She?s naturally, like, model status. But yeah, I?ve always had a really flat stomach but I never felt like it went back to what it was before Stormi until recently, and I feel like it has a lot to do with diet.?
The ?Keeping Up With the Kardashians? star said she had to give up her beloved carbs and dairy products to really see results.
?I really eat very crazy usually. Like whatever I want,? she explained. ?Pizza, pasta, a lot of dairy, and I just kind of cut all of that out and have just been eating better. And I feel like that?s the trick for me, personally.?
However, it wasn?t overnight. Kylie insisted that her transformation took time.
?And I also think, after a child, it really does take just as long to get your body back as it did to create the child,? she said.

I mean? okay. I?ll buy that she was watching what she ate, and don?t ever discount ?being 21 and having a 21-year-old?s metabolism? for being able to snap back and lose weight in general. The thing is, I believe she was naturally skinny before all of the other stuff happened, the implants and the ass of lies and all that. I don?t really have a point here, I guess I?m just grumbling about how Kylie is plastic but I kind of believe she lost the baby weight naturally. I don?t know.

Last week, Travis Scott postponed a concert in upstate New York. The official reason was that he was ill. The real reason, as it turns out, was that Kylie and Travis got into a huge fight and he wanted to stay in LA to deal with it. TMZ claimed that Kylie had found ?evidence? of Travis?s infidelity and she called him out on it. Their relationship was supposedly on the brink. I suggested that Kylie might be having some big trust issues in general, especially given her best friend Jordyn Woods? recent shunning by the family. Well, TMZ has an update:
Kylie Jenner isnt going to make any drastic decisions to blow up her family at least not yet and shes willing to try and work things out with Travis Scott sources tell TMZ. TMZ broke the story the couple got into a massive fight Wednesday after Travis flew home to surprise his baby mama and Stormi. Were told at some point during the visit, Kylie went through Travis phone and discovered evidence he had been unfaithful.
Travis reps tell us the rapper insists he did not cheat.
Our sources say Travis stayed at Kylies home Wednesday and Thursday, and the couple tried working things out. Were told Kylie was extremely pissed at him, but shes trying to keep her emotions in check in no small part for the sake of their daughter. Sources close to Travis say he plans to take the stage in NYC at Madison Square Garden Saturday night. Youll recall Scott canceled his show Thursday in Buffalo, claiming he was ill but were told the fight with Kylie was the real reason for pulling the plug.

Travis did delete his Instagram, and I am so out-of-touch with the kidz that I spent several minutes trying to figure out the significance of that before I realized what had probably happened: the evidence Kylie found was likely messages from women. He was either contacting or being contacted by other women on the ?gram. That was also an issue with Tristan Thompson last year several of the women he was sleeping with were women he met on Instagram. Is that what was going on in Travis?s case? I don?t know. I honestly don?t have a handle on Travis yet. If he was cheating on Kylie, it seems like he was being pretty discreet about it. Which I always assumed was part of his deal with Kylie live and let live, just be discreet. Maybe their deal was something different though.

For what it?s worth, before today, I always appreciated the fact that Kylie Jenner wasn?t drowning in romantic drama with Travis Scott. If we believe Kylie?s timeline, she and Tyga were done and Kylie quickly met and fell in love with Travis. She got pregnant just weeks or months into their relationship, and she didn?t really change anything she didn?t want to marry Travis, and I never even believed that they lived together. Travis does his thing, tours, records, whatever, and he spends whatever time he can with Kylie and Stormi. It?s all very loose and no-pressure on their relationship. I always imagined that Kylie was just sort of ?live and let live? about Travis and the potential for infidelity. But I guess not:
Travis Scott says he postponed his AstroWorld concert in Buffalo Thursday night because of illness, but were told its more complicated than that because Kylie accused him of cheating and hes staying in L.A. to deal with it.
First of all, Travis reps say the rapper absolutely denies he cheated on Kylie. But, were told on Wednesday he flew back from the East Coast to surprise Kylie and Stormi. They were at her home in the evening, when she claimed to discover evidence he cheated on her. A major argument erupted and continued into Thursday.

People Magazine notes that ?a rep for Scott is strongly denying to PEOPLE that he was unfaithful and that he and Jenner had a fight about cheating.? Coming on the heels of the Renunciation of Jordyn Woods, some of us are wondering if all of this is connected. Kylie has been going through a hard time once she learned that her best friend, and Stormi?s ?auntie,? was basically sleeping with every guy Khloe?s dated in the past five years. Kylie is definitely having some trust issues. So is she projecting those trust issues onto her relationship with Travis? Or? was Jordyn Woods just sleeping with everybody? Or maybe it?s something else entirely. I?m just trying to imagine what kind of ?evidence? Kylie thinks she found.

I don?t judge most peoples weird food/eating habits because I also have some weird habits. The only thing I consistently judge is people who refuse to have some kind of ?treat? on their birthdays. But otherwise? let your food-freak flag fly. All of which to say, I don?t judge Kylie Jenner because I think I?m in the same exact boat with her. Ever since I was a little kid, I?ve had such a strong aversion to most dairy products (I?ve always wondered if it was genetic too, because Asian people are, historically, not big on dairy). My biggest aversions are especially for plain milk and cheese. I?ve never been able to drink a whole glass of plain milk. I?ve never put milk in my cereal. Kylie Jenner was similar until recently, she had only ever eaten cereal without milk.
last night i had cereal with milk for the first time. life changing.
