Model of the moment Kendall made sure all eyes were on her as she displayed her svelte figure in a sheer dress emblazoned with an elaborate snake design and delicate fishtail hem. Daring to bare her pert posterior at the prestigious film festival she protected her modesty with nude and black underwear.
The movie stars La Vie En Rose star Marion Cotillard as a passionate woman in a loveless marriage. Meanwhile, actress Susan Sarandon has slammed Woody Allen at Cannes, where allegations of sexual assault have been renewed against the director. Sarandon said of Allen: “I think he sexually assaulted a child and I don’t think that’s right.”

Here are some photos from this weekend?s multiple red carpet premieres at the Cannes Film Festival. I?m trying to keep up with the actual premiere photos and I have been mostly ignoring the party photos. Cannes has become such a cottage industry that there are all of these exclusive parties where only one photo agency is allowed to photograph the event, and as such, we don?t always get access to certain party photos. But everybody gets to shoot the premieres. So here?s Kendall Jenner in Roberto Cavalli. We haven?t seen a ton of Cavalli at this year?s Cannes, but it seems like Cavalli is really trying to get his gowns on the younger ladies, like Kendall and Bella Hadid. Is it wrong that I sort of like this on Kendall? It?s not the best thing ? the best thing was perhaps her Calvin Klein at the Met Gala ? but it?s a solid, interesting look for her.
Marion Cotillard in Dior. At first, I didn?t realize that there was that weird black fabric block on the collar. What is that? Why is that part of the design? Anyway, this is pretty great on Marion and she looks beautiful. I just would have made some minor edits to the gown and it would have been perfect.
Aishwarya Rai in Rami Kadi May, with lavender lips. As I?ve said, I will always defend her beauty, but her style is another story. I actually went through a phase in college when I did silver-lavender lips too. Looking back, I don?t know what I was thinking. I looked like a corpse. Aish might want to rethink this.
Sonam Kapoor in a customized Ralph & Russo gown, with a built-in cape. I think this would have been more interesting in another color. With the white, the whole thing just reads as too bridal.
Vanessa Paradis in Elie Saab Fall 2016. This is awful.
Riley Keough in Gucci Cruise 2016. This is worse than Paradis? Elie Saab. Why would you wear this bile-colored fug dress?! EVER?

Is the Cannes Film Festival ?over? already? That?s the question I?m sure some people will be asking, considering the Jenners have already arrived. Here are some photos of Kendall Jenner and Kris Jenner at last night?s Magnum Double party. Before everyone starts yelling about the state of celebrity and all of that? I?m absolutely positive that Kendall (and possibly Kris) was paid to attend this Cannes party. For years (decades?), the South of France has attracted shady characters, famewhores and thirsty C-listers desperate for some camera time. Which makes me believe that Kendall and Kris actually belong there. Anyway, Kendall wore this absolutely terrible Versace gown to the event. That?s what offends me ? this is basically a pair of lace shorts with a cheesy sarong. The hair is unfortunate too.
And here are some photos from a Thursday-night event for Chopard. Kirsten Dunst in a gorgeous Schiaparelli Couture column dress. Kiki is killing it in Cannes!!
Juliette Binoche in Versace. I love seeing Binoche (always), but this is not the look for her.
Julianne Moore in Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2016. I love Julianne so much, but when it comes time for Julianne to be a Fashion Girl, she always messes it up somehow. This gown is made of NOOOOooo.
Cheryl Cole (or whatever she?s calling herself these days) in a Zuhair Murad jumpsuit. She looks like a circus performer!
Bonus Mads Mikkelsen! He?s on the Cannes jury this year, and he seems to be having fun and going to all of the events.

In short: Kendall and the president are basically best friends now.

Why did Kendall Jenner attend the MTV Movie Awards this weekend? I?m not entirely sure. Technically, she was invited to be a presenter, and I kind of think MTV just invited some of the most high-profile young models to make up for the fact that most of the nominated movie stars (Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio) chose not to attend. MTV wanted youth and glamour, thus Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne and Gigi Hadid got invited.
Kendall tried to steal the show in this asymmetrical Kristian Aadnevik mullet dress. The dress would have been boring (on a boring woman) if not for the Dsquared2 shoes that were so complicated, Kendall needed help putting them on and she had to keep adjusting them while she was on the carpet. So, I dislike the dress but I enjoy the fact that she was trying to bring some shoe drama. Also: Harry Styles was in LA this weekend and Harry and Kendall were seen out in public together ? go here to see. So, maybe Kendall and Harry are back on? Maybe they were never even over? Or maybe they?re just friends that hang out sometimes.
Cara Delevingne wore black velvet Balmain to the show. As I?ve said, I?ve come to associate Balmain with the Kardashians, for better or for worse. So? yeah, I kind of hate this on her. I don?t get the design of ?high waisted velvet jumpsuit? combined with ?sheer bodice paneling.? It is, to me, just bad design. Plus, it makes Cara look super-flat-chested. She also looks crazy-slim, like this is the skinniest she?s ever looked to me. PS? people liked her tiny little side-braid.
