Jennifer Lawrence was With Her. Jennifer?s boyfriend Darren Aronofsky even used Jennifer as a way to bribe college students into voting ? if the students promised to vote, he let them Facetime with J-Law on his phone. So, obvious, J-Law is really depressed this week just like every sane, sentient, inclusionist, woke ally. What did Jennifer decide to do with her depression, revulsion, sadness and shock? She wrote an essay about what?s next.
Is this the stark reality? It doesn’t matter how hard you work or how qualified you are, at the end of the day, you’re not a man? Is that what we just learned? This country was founded on immigration and today the only people that feel safe, that their rights are recognized and respected are white men.
I want to be positive; I want to support our democracy, but what can we take away from this? It’s a genuine question that we all need to ask ourselves. We shouldn’t blame anyone, we shouldn’t riot in the streets. We should think strongly and clearly about what to do next because we cannot change the past.
If you’re worried about the health of our planet, find out everything you can about how to protect it. If you’re worried about racial violence love your neighbor more than you’ve ever tried to before?no matter what they believe or who they voted for. If you’re afraid of a wall putting us all into another recession then organize and stand against it.
If you’re a woman and you’re worried that no matter how hard you work or how much you learn, there will always be a glass ceiling, then I don’t really know what to say. I don’t know what I would tell my daughter if I were you. Except to have hope. To work for the future.
We’re all allowed to be sad that the present isn’t what we thought it was. But we mustn’t be defeated. We will keep educating ourselves and working twice as hard as the man next to us because we know now that it is not fair. It is not fair in the workplace, so you make it impossible to fail. And like Hillary, it might not work.
But like Hillary, you can still be an inspiration and get important things done. Do not let this defeat you?let this enrage you! Let it motivate you! Let this be the fire you didn’t have before. If you are an immigrant, if you are a person of color, if you are LGBTQ+, if you are a woman?don’t be afraid, be loud!

I was so sad, but it didn?t feel like our side had been defeated. It didn?t feel like we were out in the cold? even though we are, and I said yesterday that it?s a good thing, because now the GOP is forced to reckon with itself and choke on their own bad ideas, their own recklessness, insanity, bigotry and hatred. I don?t feel defeated. I feel angry. I am pissed off.

I do enjoy it when my belief in low-tier tabloid reports pay off. Months ago, In Touch Weekly reported that Jennifer Lawrence was spending a lot of time with her director Darren Aronofsky. People were like ?Don?t believe it!? Then this week, The Sun reported something similar, that Aronofsky and J-Law have been keeping their sh-t on the downlow but yes, they?ve been quietly dating for a while now. Folks were still like ?I?m going to need to see some receipts.? Well now even People Magazine is confirming the news: 26-year-old J-Law is banging 47-year-old Darren Aronofsky!
Jennifer Lawrence has a new man in her life. The Hunger Games actress is dating director Darren Aronofsky, a source close to Lawrence tells PEOPLE.
?They?ve been hanging out and are casually dating,? says the Lawrence pal.
Over the summer, Lawrence, 26, and Aronofsky, 47, collaborated on a still-untitled project together starring the Oscar-winning actress, Ed Harris and Javier Bardem. They were also photographed together in August enjoying lunch at a cafe.
Currently in post-production, the movie is directed and written by Aronofsky and focuses on a couple whose relationship is disrupted when unwanted guests enter their lives.

My question is: how long has this been going on? The tabloids have been murmuring about it since March, which was before Darren and Jennifer even started working together on the film (but she was cast in the film at that point, it?s just that the film was in preproduction). Did they start up during filming? Before filming? After filming? And seriously? this pairing is so random. She really does not have a type, does she? To go from Nicholas Hoult to Chris Martin to Darren Aronofsky??? Who will she date next, Elon Musk?
Also: someone creeped on Jennifer and Darren two months ago and got this photo. So I?m pretty sure that this has been happening since this summer.

Dior?s show at Paris Fashion Week is one the hottest tickets of any fashion week in any city. Models, fashionistas and celebrities rearrange their schedules just to be available for the Dior show, and all of the faces of Dior are likely contractually obligated to show up at a few shows a year. Which is how Jennifer Lawrence ? who has been undercover for MONTHS ? deigned to appear at the Dior show on Friday. And when I say ?deigned,? I mean? she looks completely over this. She didn?t want to be in Paris for the Dior show at all. I can see it on her face. And I don?t know if Dior chose Jennifer?s outfit or what, but Dior?s golden girl definitely got the worst ensemble. That might be why she?s so glum-looking too. ?Oh, jean capris? Really? Okay, I guess? since I?m contractually obligated.?
And to think, I actually had high hopes for Dior?s new creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, who took over from Raf Simons this year. Simons was doing terrible things with the label. But judging from these clothes? um, Chiuri isn?t doing much better.
More photos from the show? Rihanna has a gift for making the stupidest clothes look amazing. This is one of those times. This dress would look like an absurd, ill-fitting costume on nearly anyone else. On Rihanna, it looks chic.
I?ve seen so many fashion sites acting like Marion Cotillard?s white sweater/dress is the second coming of Jesus. Really? It?s a pretty unflattering design. Granted, she?s pregnant and I bet this is really comfortable.
Karlie Kloss in one of the best skirts to come out of Dior in a long time.
Kate Moss is doing something different, right? I think she?s going for a more beachy blonde, whereas before she was more of a ?bronde.? The jean jacket is? eh.
Diane Kruger looks like she just came from Lollapalooza. In 1995.
And finally, Natalie Portman was there too. Like Marion, she?s knocked up. Something in the water over there at Dior, maybe.

A few months back, LaineyGossip referred to Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence as the Prom King and Prom Queen of Hollywood. It?s true ? they are the two most successful young actors, and it seems pretty obvious that producers and studios would look to put them in a project together. That project ended up being? Passengers, a sci-fi love story. They filmed the project last year and the first trailer was released today:
I understand how this looked good on paper. Sci-fi, everybody loves something sleek and cool and futuristic. Everybody loves romance between two attractive people. Everybody loves action-drama too. But is it just me or does it seem? kind of blandly uninspired? Don?t get me wrong, I?m sort of curious to learn why their characters ?woke up,? but is that enough to see the film? No. But I?m sure people will go see it, considering it stars the Prom King and Prom Queen.

Jennifer Lawrence is still Hollywood?s Golden Girl. I get it. She?s racked up four Oscar nominations already and she?s only 25 years old. She?s funny, she gives great interviews, and her persona is ?the real girl.? She also had a Midas touch when it comes to box office ? even her smaller, artsy outings are financially successful (for the most part). So of course J-Law sees #AllTheScripts. She?s sent every script and offered every role for a character between the ages of 16 and 40, regardless of whether J-Law could realistically play the role, regardless of the fact that she still has a baby-face and she can never look older than ?early 20s.? So how do you feel about Jennifer Lawrence, Our Lady of Dorito Farts, being cast as 32-year-old Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes?
Jennifer Lawrence is attaching herself to Adam McKay?s drama about medical company Theranos and its 32-year-old founder Elizabeth Holmes. Theranos is the blood-testing startup that once had Silicon Valley investors salivating over its commercial potential with a $9 billion valuation as recently as two years ago. Gary Sanchez Productions is producing with Sanchez producer Kevin Messick planning to approach buyers next week.
Founded in 2003 by Holmes, Theranos claimed to have revolutionized blood testing by being able to use only a pinprick of blood, rather than traditional methods of drawing blood by injection. The company however is now under investigation over claims of inaccurate test results and Holmes? own worth ? at one point valued at $4.5 billion by Forbes thanks to her 50% stake in the company ? has plummeted to a fraction of that. What?s more, Theranos may even be banned from practicing for two years for failing to resolve significant problems at its main California lab, according to a report from federal health regulator The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

I think it?s an interesting story ? more on that in a moment ? but this seems like a role for an actress who is just a tad older. While I think J-Law IS a wonderful actress, I?m not sure her strength is super-serious corporate/medical dramas? She?s good at melodrama, action, comedy, etc. But this seems like something more for Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Kirsten Dunst or Rachel McAdams. You can see photos of Holmes here ? while J-Law certainly looks a bit like Holmes, Rachel McAdams looks so much like her, they could be sisters.
As for the story of Theranos and what really went wrong? I don?t know. Vanity Fair has had some great stories about the drama though ? go here and here to read some of the latest developments.

Here is Jennifer Lawrence revealing a little more than she bargained for when she posed for photos at the Sony presentation at CinemaCon 2016 in Las Vegas.
Wearing a dress consisting of flimsy black material at the top, the Joy star was likely regretting not wearing a bra as the harsh lighting revealed the garment to be semi-sheer.
During the night she teamed up with her Passengers co-star Chris Pratt as the duo talked enthusiastically about the sci-fi adventure flick which is set for release in December.
The excerpts from ?Passengers? shown to movie exhibitors reveal Pratt and Lawrence as two unlikely space travelers, who have volunteered to make a 120-year journey to the Homestead Colony, a mission only possible because their bodies are suspended timelessly in ?hibernation pods.? The journey goes awry when Pratt?s and then Lawrence?s pods open prematurely and they are stranded on the spaceship Avalon, still 90 years from their destination.

Jennifer Lawrence is, for better or for worse, the biggest thing in Hollywood right now. She?s already wrapped the Hunger Games franchise and most people believe X-Men: Apocalypse will be her last outing with the X-Men franchise. So Jennifer is packing her schedule with interesting non-franchise projects, and at this point, I believe she?s basically seeing every script first. If there?s a role for a woman aged 17-40, J-Law has been sent the script. Back in January, J-Law became attached to play Ilona Marita Lorenz, the controversial and scandalous woman who seduced her way through powerful men like Fidel Castro and a Venezuelan dictator. Now Page Six says that J-Law is the leading contender to play another controversial woman ? the famous WWII spy Betty Pack.
?A? Blonde Bond? ? that?s what Time magazine called WWII secret agent Betty Pack in her obituary. She used the bedroom, the magazine wrote, as Bond ?uses a Beretta.?
?The Last Goodnight,? Howard Blum?s nonfiction account of Pack?s life ? a tale of clandestine missions, suspense and amorous adventures ? will be published Tuesday by HarperCollins with a first printing of 100,000. Pack was the spy who, according to her bosses, ?changed the entire course of the war.?
Sony?s Columbia TriStar Pictures has bought the film rights for a hefty six-figure sum and Mark Gordon (?Saving Private Ryan,? ?Steve Jobs? and the TV series ?Ray Donovan?) will be producing. Sony is already busily deciding who will star as Pack, and while many actresses are pursuing the role, the early studio favorite is Jennifer Lawrence.
The book?s title comes from a bit of wisdom the CIA passes on to its new agents: ?The last person to whom you say good night is the most dangerous.? And Betty Pack, femme fatale, personified the risks of intimacy.

For a second, I was like ?isn?t there already a movie about a female spy called The Last Goodnight?? I was thinking of The Long Kiss Goodnight, the Geena Davis film. Anyway, I looked up Betty Pack, and in 1941 (the start of the war for America), Pack would have been 31 years old. J-Law is currently 25 years old, but it will take a year or more for the script to be adapted and for the film to get financing and everything, so J-Law will be pretty close to the real age. So I don?t have a problem with that. I looked at some old photos of Pack, and I could sort of see J-Law in the role too. I could also see Jessica Chastain, I think. In any case, I?m sure Jennifer will be offered this part and she probably is everyone?s first choice. Could she pull it off?
