I’ve been a fan of Anna Kendrick ever since her Oscar nominated performance for Up in the Air. She’s incredibly talented and has done all sorts of movies. Even those ridiculous Twilight films. There’s also a strong undercurrent of men who adore Anna. They really, really dig her. She’s so pretty yet accessible, and her Twitter account reveals the most wicked sense of humor. Oddly enough, Anna appeared in Elle for the July issue and said no one hits on her. Ever. She says no one has flirted with her in five whole years.
Someone must have hit on her. Someone named Alfie Allen. He’s best known for his role in HBO’s Game of Thrones (and being Lily Allen’s brother). Alfie broke up with Jamie Winstone in July. Anna’s been officially single since she and Edgar Wright broke up last year (after a 4-year relationship). A new report that originated from the New York Post says that Anna and Alfie had drinks together in Vegas. I actually can’t locate the original article, which may make this report suspect. Actress Anna Kendrick has sparked rumours of a new romance with Game Of Thrones star Alfie Allen after they were spotted on a date in Las Vegas.
The pair reportedly requested “a dark table” at Sin City’s SushiSamba hotspot this week (begs04Aug14), when Kendrick and Allen were seen enjoying drinks together, according to the New York Post.
The Pitch Perfect beauty has been single since splitting from her boyfriend of four years, director Edgar Wright, in early 2013.
Allen, the younger brother of British pop star Lily Allen, ended his on/off relationship with actress Jaime Winstone last month (Jul14). He is best known for portraying Theon Greyjoy on the hit fantasy series.

What do you think? Anna and Alfie would make a cute couple. She’s got such a sharp wit and ascerbic sense of humor. And Alfie? He called out Lily for lying about being offered a GoT role. That was pretty funny. I don’t know how serious I want Anna and Alfie to get. A fling might be nice. If Anna ever married him, then she’d be sisters-in-law with Lily, who is a total pill. Alfie is cute though, in a very dashing British way. Go for it, girl.

Anna Kendrick really is one of those fabled “triple threats.” She can act, she can sing, and she’s attractive. Anna was so good in Up In the Air (she got an Oscar nom for that role), and I watched her in Drinking Buddies last weekend. That was a weird movie where they didn’t have a script. The actors just made up their lines every day. Anna just filmed another scriptless movie, Happy Christmas. She has six movies coming out this year and is currently working on Pitch Perfect 2.
Anna seems very aware of her place in Hollywood. She has a legion of devoted fans but will never be a big marquee name. She’s also an underrated beauty who doesn’t grab too much attention from the Maxim crowd, and she likes it that way. Anna says she’s very happy about not living with the pressure to make the “most beautiful” and “hot” lists. Glamour talked with her in a breezy little featurette:
On juggling her various projects: “It?s really fun. It?s like eating Cheerios every morning and then switching to Froot Loops. It?s exciting to eat Froot Loops!”
On Pitch Perfect 2: “We didn?t get the finale music till last night, so we?re all a little panicked. But—it?ll be great, right?”
Not relying on her looks: “The thing is, my appearance–that?s never been my moneymaker. I?m fine being small. I?m fine being all the things I am. And I?m happy I?m not supposed to be on the 50 Most Beautiful list all the time, because that would be super f–king stressful.”
The difficulty of fame: “Sometimes I just want to wear the same outfit for three days in a row. And I kind of can?t.”
Dressing for her body type: “Well, in sample sizes, the dresses can be hemmed, but I can?t wear pants. Every time a stylist tries to put me in, like, a chic pantsuit, I?m like, ‘This isn?t gonna work. It?s going to look like a diaper. I know you think that you can do it; I promise you, you can?t.’ So I appreciate stores that have petites sections.”

Anna has a healthy attitude towards beauty standards. She’s very pretty but far more “cute” than Maxim babe. Let’s get real though — if Anna wasn’t attractive at all, she wouldn’t have captured her zillion roles. I have a feeling that she knows this already. Anna’s talent will always keep her afloat, but being really cute didn’t hurt her career prospects at all.

If you follow some of the blogs written by dudes, you?ve probably noticed the rise of two women: Anna Kendrick and Alison Brie. I like both women a lot and I think both are incredibly talented. But they?re sort of like the female versions of some of the not-yet-movie-star dudes that we obsess about here. And I have had moments of thinking, ?Really, fan-boys? You?re getting that crazy over Alison Brie?? To be fair, Anna Kendrick already has one Oscar nomination under her belt and she?s an old-school double-threat as an actress and singer. Plus, she?s good at social media and she?s not full of herself. Anna covers the new issue of ELLE ? you can see the excerpts online here. Some highlights:
Her divorced parents: “I hate when people think you’re broken because your parents are divorced. And I really reject the idea of staying together for the kids. If they’re growing up in a house that’s not healthy, it’s better to know that’s not the model of what marriage should be.” ?
Her approachable sex appeal: “I?ve never felt like I?ve exactly traded on my looks. When I was a teenager, I was an ultra-late bloomer, and my mom would say it was a blessing, because it means you never have to wonder if guys are only interested in you because you?ve got boobs. I would have been thrilled if guys were interested in me because of my boobs!”
Late-bloomer: “Similarly, I think I?m lucky that I?ve never had a crisis about whether the only reason I?m successful is because I?m crazy hot. It?s not something that crosses my mind.?

The July issue hits stands on June 11th. Just FYI, for all the fan-boys. And Anna wears a bikini ? like the most vintage-y, modest bikini ever. Anna sounds like a very cool girl, someone relatively ?normal? in Hollywood, someone who has a sense of realism about her place in the world. It?s refreshing! Plus, she actually is very talented. She?s heartbreaking in 50/50 (which is just an amazing movie overall).

The ?Twilight Saga: New Moon? hottie is joined by Lena Dunham, Joe Swanberg and Melanie Lynskey and this looks to be quite the charming dramedy.
Per the synopsis, ?Irresponsible 20-something Jenny arrives in Chicago to live with her older brother Jeff, a young film-maker living a happy existence with his novelist wife Kelly and their two-year-old son. Jenny's arrival shakes up their quiet domesticity as she and her friend Carson instigate an evolution in Kelly's life and career. Meanwhile, Jenny strikes up a rocky relationship with the family's baby sitter-cum-pot dealer.?
?Happy Christmas? is slated to hit theaters on June 26th so check out the trailer below and get excited!

In a wide-ranging interview with Fast Company, Anna Kendrick was named the magazine?s No. 8 on their list of the 100 Most Creative People in Business. She also graces the cover of the issue, and is easily the highest-ranked entertainer (Jerry Seinfeld is the next closest at No. 26).
She tweeted: Ugh – NEVER going to a Ryan Gosling movie in a theater again. Apparently masturbating in the back row is still considered “inappropriate”

Taking a break from the set of "Pitch Perfect 2," Anna Kendrick headed over to the 2014 Met Gala in New York City on Monday (May 5).
The "Drinking Buddies" dame rocked a stunning black-and-white gown and rocked a few poses on the red carpet inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
With a guest list that includes the biggest names in fashion and entertainment, there?s no telling what to expect from the 2014 Met Gala.
Designer Zac Posen previously told E!, "I think people are going to look spectacular! I think we are going to see lots of major, major gowns and very strong iconic moments. You know, it's a very cut down list so I think everyone that's going is expected to shine."

Taking care of some career duties, Anna Kendrick headed over to a local studio in Hollywood for a private photo shoot on Thursday afternoon (March 27).
Always a looker, the ?Up in the Air? starlet donned a light cardigan with plum skinny jeans as she exited the building and scurried to her car.
Coming up on April 5th, Anna will serve as the host of ?Saturday Night Live? for the first time with special musical guest Pharrell Williams.
Meanwhile, she?ll also star in ?Into the Woods? and ?The Last Five Years? before getting to work on the sequel to her hit flick ?Pitch Perfect.?

Making her comedic debut on everyone's favorite sketch show, Anna Kendrick is slated to host "Saturday Night Live" on April 5th!
Not only will she be hitting up hosting duties alongside singer-songwriter, Pharrell Williams, Oscar nominee Anna has also signed on for "Pitch Perfect II."
Excited about the chance to take to the "SNL" stage, Anna tweeted, "@nbcsnl @Pharrell I'm gonna get the chance to confront Pharrell about his "big hat" outshining my "cleavage window" dress. #GrammysRegrets."
Louis C.K. will make his second "SNL" appearance on March 29th, and Ed Sheeran will make an appearance alongside Seth Rogen on April 12th!
