The ?Everybody?s Changing? babe donned a demure Pink coat with leopard print heels as she strolled inside and greeted fans who gathered to see her.
Lily has been plugging her comeback single ?Hard Out Here,? her first new recording after a long four-year hiatus.
And it sounds like she?s also planning a high-profile performance- Lily told Nick Grimshaw, ?I?m playing Glastonbury on Sunday night. It?s official, it?s my second home.?

These are photos of Lily Allen out in London on Friday evening. In her own way Lily has become the queen of controversy with her new music video, and she did it all without getting naked. In this day and age, that’s quite an accomplishment in pop music.
People are calling out Lily’s video as racist, and Lily tried to defend herself against these accusations on Twitter: “If anyone thinks for a second that I requested specific ethnicities for the video, they?re wrong.” Lily also stated how she herself would have twerked along with her backup dancers, but she tried to perfect the move for two weeks and could not master it. She also mentioned her “chronic cellulite” as another reason that her dancers were dancing lustily, but she was not. Hmm.
I find those words interesting, and while I do like Lily as a pop icon, I’ll confess to never buying any of her music. Nothing against her at all, but her voice just isn’t my bag. I appreciate that she’s trying to say things that women are told they shouldn’t say, and now Lily is speaking out in a Guardian interview. The article begins with an anecdote about how (after having her first child) postpartum Lily went for a consultation at a plastic surgeon’s office a year ago. She was all scheduled for liposuction, and then four days before the procedure, she learned she was pregnant again. Naturally she did not have the surgery — she wrote a song instead. That song just happens to be “Hard Out Here.” Let’s do this:
She loves the word “bitch”: “Dolly Parton is a bitch. Adele’s a bitch. Angela Merkel is a bitch…” She’s sitting in the make-up chair listing bitches, of which she proudly counts herself one. “Rihanna’s an inspiring bitch, my mum, Miley’s a bitch, rising. She’s my hero. Kate Middleton is NOT a bitch.”
On her rep: “I’ve always been called ‘mouthy,’ when, in fact, I’m just talking. In the music industry, women have always been controlled by male execs, told to do the Kate Moss thing. Keep your mouth shut, or people will laugh at you. They’ve been talking about us like this for years, basically.”
She lives in the country with her family: “It’s nice, but it’s weird. I’m totally out of touch. When I first started, in terms of girls it was just me and Amy [Winehouse]. Now, ‘reentering the marketplace,’ it’s all girls.”
Things are so different now: “Nobody says anything real today. Most of those girls have their songs written by other people. It annoys me, because ‘eh oh eh oh ahh’ is not a chorus — that’s not a point where I feel ‘we’re connecting’, you know? I need a narrative.”
She’s changed too: “I want to sing about different things now,” she smokes. “Before I was married, my songs were directed at significant others. Now I couldn’t be happier, so it’s opened me up to write about more general stuff. There are a couple of songs to Sam, including one sexy one, about coming to terms with becoming sexual again after just being a baby-making vessel. But mainly they’re funnier and happier — less lethargic, less teenage.”
Her new music: “I’m not moaning at the world any more. Before, I was struggling. Coming out of adolescence and not knowing where I was in the world — now it’s about ownership and empowerment.” And objectification. “I’d like to think that my children’s generation won’t feel like this. Like I do. I want them to realise that not everyone can be f—ing ‘hot.’ Rather than attractiveness being the end prize, it should be as rewarding to be clever or funny, or, you know, have your, your ‘thing’.” She takes a sip of champagne through a straw before taking her place on a mirrored dance floor. It’s 11am.
Getting older is scary: “I don’t think I’m going to suit being old. That thing of ? I always used to be the youngest bitch. Little Lily. Now I’m not. That scares me a bit. But that’s a product of today’s media, isn’t it? The world makes you feel like your life is over.”
The dark side of the internet: “I read it. I read it all, and they’re 90% horrible. Is that because everybody hates me? Or is it just an easy way for them to make themselves feel good, by saying something bad about someone else? And sometimes it can be really hurtful. Like when I lost my baby.”
The gossip cycle: Minutes after she gave birth to her first child, before she had told her mum, she says, the Daily Mail was on the phone. “The placenta was still IN me. The Mail Online is like carbs — you know you shouldn’t but you do. Probably two or three times a day. I hate them — it’s an atrocity, really. But I still go on it. It’s my homepage. These lyrics are a message to them, in part. We keep going back,” she takes a long pull on her cigarette, “we keep going back, because they’ve made us feel so sh-t that we have to compare ourselves, to say ‘haha she’s fat too’, in order to feel better.”
What if she’d gone through the surgery? “Now I know what the female body is capable of I have a lot more respect for it. My wide hips are for squeezing babies out of.”
[From The Guardian]
That last part confuses me. Lily rails against “objectification” (the word even appears in “Hard Out Here”), but she almost went under the knife a year ago for cosmetic reasons. As stated above, Lily said she would have dressed scantily in her video if she could dance the right way and didn’t have “cellulite.” Maybe I should just appreciate that she recognizes her own contradictions. Lily is at least trying to make a point instead of just being “hot,” right?

Taking some time away from Mother England, Lily Allen showed up in Lake Como, Italy for a relaxing vacation on Saturday (September 21).
Joined by her daughters Marnie and Ethel, the ?Smile? songstress enjoyed her posh surroundings at the Villa d?Este hotel while husband Sam Cooper tended to some errands.
Ms. Allen is slated to release her new much-anticipated album in 2014, and she told press there?s a definite dose of girl power in her songs.
?It's not an earnest ?I'm a mum? kind of record. It's empowering. There's some feminist vibes going on. It's the same old me with a bit of swearing going on. Good choruses, key changes here and there - that's it!?

I forgot that Lily Allen got knocked up just a few months after giving birth to her daughter Ethel Mary! But it?s true. Lily gave birth to Ethel Mary Cooper in November 2011, and now she?s given birth to a second daughter. Lily and her husband Sam Cooper named their baby girl Marnie Rose!
Lily Allen has a new reason to “Smile” — just-born daughter Marnie Rose Cooper! The 27-year-old British singer and husband Sam Cooper became second-time parents when Allen recently gave birth to a baby girl in London, her rep confirms to Us Weekly. Allen then acknowledged the good news herself on Twitter on Thursday Jan. 10, writing, “Quite overwhelmed by all the well wishing going on. THANKYOU everybody x x x”
The new mom hinted earlier this month on the social media site that she was due to give birth any day now. “Thought I was in labor but I just need to fart,” she joked on New Year’s Day. The next afternoon, Jan. 2, she added: “My husband is currently making me a Pantera mix CD to take to the birthing suite. #cute”
Two days later, however, she still hadn’t popped. “3rd curry this week,” she tweeted. (Spicy food is sometimes suggested to help induce labor naturally.) “Nothing. #cozywomb”
Allen and her husband of two years welcomed their first child, daughter Ethel Mary, on November 25, 2011. Less than a year later, the singer was pregnant again.
“It was a surprise but Lily and Sam are thrilled,” a source told the Daily Mirror, which first broke the news of the star’s second pregnancy. “The pair of them have loved every minute of parenthood so far and wanted to expand their brood quickly. So it’s great timing.”
[From Us Weekly]
I?m not sure how much of a ?surprise? it was ? I think Lily just had a bad run for a few years with some really tragic miscarriages, and once she was finally able to carry to term, she just didn?t want to stop. I?m glad she was able to carry two healthy babies to term, and congrats to Lily and Sam. I?m also glad she?s got two little girls ? she seems like the kind of girl who loves having daughters.

Last year, Lily Allen was finally able to carry a pregnancy to term and she and her husband Sam Cooper welcomed a daughter they named Ethel Mary Cooper. Lily became pregnant with Ethel after she had a devastating miscarriage when she was six months the year before. Ethel was also born just five months after Lily wed Sam in a lively country wedding. Which means that Ethel is? about seven and a half months old right now. And that Lily and Sam have been married for a little more than a year. Anyway, British gossips are now saying that Lily is pregnant again. Lily and Sam haven?t confirmed it yet, although they seem to be operating in some sort of weird half-private/half-public hybrid in which any outlet talking about them could be publicly slammed, so God knows:
Thrilled Lily Allen is expecting her second baby ? months after giving birth to daughter Ethel Mary. Lily, 25, had her three-month scan this week and was told all was well.
The star and husband Sam Cooper are said to be ?over the moon? at having another child on the way. The birth is due in December ? a year since she and artist Sam, 34, welcomed Ethel into the world.
A friend said: ?Lily has started telling her friends and everybody in her close circle is so excited for her. It was a surprise but Lily and Sam are thrilled. The pair of them have loved every minute of parenthood so far and wanted to expand their brood quickly. So it?s great timing.?
The news comes just two years after the singer ? who has had hits with Smile, LDN and The Fear ? tragically lost her baby boy when she was six months pregnant.
Lily also had a miscarriage in 2008 when she was dating Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.
She has told friends she is surprised nobody has guessed she was expecting due to the size of her bump, especially after her appearance with Professor Green in front of thousands of fans at Manchester?s Heaton Park last weekend.
A pal confided: ?Lily was sure people were going to cotton on to the fact she had a pregnancy bump but she seemed to get away with it thanks to wearing very baggy clothing. Her bump has popped out very early ? far earlier than the last pregnancy. She?s been joking she feels six months pregnant already.?
Lily is carrying on with plans to make a new album of original music ? her first since stepping away from the industry two years ago to start a family. She aims to have it ready for release in spring, months after the birth.
Lily recently finished working on the score for the Bridget Jones?s Diary West End musical. She will spend the rest of the summer working on her album, then rest before the birth.
?Lily?s got lots on her plate right now,? her friend said. ?She?s been working on a handful of songs already and has lots more ideas of what she wants to do.
?Bridget Jones was an amazing and different project for her but everything that has happened to her over the past two years has been incredibly inspiring. So it?s time for her to start recording and getting the record together.
?But like everything in her life, work comes second to Sam, Ethel and now their bump. She?s just so excited.?
[From The Daily Mirror]
If she?s already three months along right now, that means Lily got pregnant only about four or five months after giving birth. I mean, I understand that she loves being a mom and she wants another baby. But I?m also growing more and more concerned about the state of her poor body. This is the third pregnancy for Lily in two years? time. After this baby, I hope she takes a break and gives her poor body a rest. I know that sounds concern-troll-y, but I swear it?s genuine concern. My heart broke for her when she miscarried and I do wonder if her system can handle another pregnancy so quickly. I hope for everybody?s sake that everything goes well.

Lily Allen stumbled out drunk from The Box in London yesterday. She was a little wobbly so her hot friend had to help her to her car. That never happens to me. Whenever I get drunk and ask a hot girl to help me to my car in that dark alley behind the club, all I get is a can of mace.

This is good news! Lily Allen gave birth to a baby girl on Friday! Huzzah! It?s always good news when a lady has a healthy pregnancy and gives birth to a healthy baby, but even more so in Lily?s case. In 2008, she suffered a miscarriage when she was with her then-boyfriend, and one year ago, Lily had a painful stillbirth when she was only six months pregnant. Lily married Sam Cooper several months ago, and she was already pregnant when she and Sam got hitched.
Lily Allen has a new reason to smile.
The pop star and her husband, Sam Cooper, welcomed their first child, a girl, on Friday, according to various reports. And the well-wishers are already chiming in.
Her friend Sam Chew Tweeted this message: “sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper…… YES.”
Another pal, Charlie Condou, Tweeted to his followers that the singer had a little girl.
Allen, 26, wed Cooper, a painter and decorator, in Gloucestershire, England, last June, when she revealed she was expecting her bundle of joy. She has also since taken his last name.
Her U.K. rep had no comment on the birth of their daughter.
The birth comes after several hardships for the singer. She lost a baby boy in November 2010, after contracting a viral infection six months into her pregnancy. She also miscarried her first pregnancy in January 2008, while she was dating British musician Ed Simons.

Oh, wait? She?s Lily Cooper now? Noted. Well, even though I?ve had my issues with Lily in the past, I?m very, very happy for her now. She really wanted to be a mom, and I?m so glad that it finally happened for her, and that she and baby seem like they?re doing well. I hope Sam sticks around too – he seems like a decent guy, and who knows? Maybe Sam and Lily will last forever.

| Lily Allen's Elle UK pictorial: gorgeous or budget, Katy Perry-esque' | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some of the photos from Lily Allen?s August cover pictorial for Elle UK. Yes, she?s ?retired? but she?s still doing endless promotion - I think this interview is to promote her clothing line/shop, Lucy in Disguise, that she does with her sister. The interview - and the pictorial - were done before Lily married her longtime boyfriend Sam Cooper, and before she announced her current pregnancy. She doesn?t look pregnant in the photos, unless we?re talking about her bigger boobs. I actually think these photos of Lily are rather gorgeous, and I so rarely think that of Lily. She?s cute, sure, but gorgeous? What a difference a good haircut and sophisticated styling does for a girl. Does anyone else think she looks a bit like Katy Perry? And by that I mean Dita Von Teese.
Here are some excerpts from Lily?s Elle interview:
Lily Allen has revealed that her local church helped her get through her darkest days after losing her unborn baby last year. The Smile star, 26, explained that because of the kindness of the village vicar and the local community, she was inspired to actually wed in the chapel, something she’d not considered previously. She said it was a way of expressing how important the community of Cranham, Gloucestershire, had become to her and now husband Sam Cooper as they struggled to cope with their loss.
Talking to Elle magazine, she said: ‘People wouldn?t have thought I?d have a church wedding, but since I had the really traumatic experience last year, our local community all pitched in. We hadn?t been there long, but after the news got out we received flowers and really heartfelt, beautifully written cards. Our vicar said a similar thing had happened to his family, so he would come over and sit with me. It feels really nice. We feel protected.?
Lily tied the knot with building boss Sam at the Anglican St James the Great church on June 11. The pair had bought a 3million house there after deciding to quit London for good in September while Lily was pregnant and soon felt at home. However, the singer suffered a viral infection and lost the baby at six months.
But the star said despite her heartbreak, she hadn’t reverted back to her wild partying ways - and credited Sam with helping her change. She explained: ?I wasn?t eating then, you know, [I was] going out at night. I guess when you?re not eating you have to distract yourself with other things. Come three o?clock it was like, ?Oh I suppose it?s acceptable to have a glass of wine.? And then by four o?clock I would have had four glasses. It?s not the way to be. But then I met Sam and he noticed that behaviour. I think it came to a point for him where he was thinking, “Can I be with this girl if this is what her life is like? I want to make this work, but I can’t live in this world.” I just needed someone to tell me.’
Lily added becoming healthier has made her see models and pop stars for what they are too.
She said: ?I hang out with models, the biggest pop stars and, you know, really and honestly, I hate saying this, but none of them are achieving those body shapes by being healthy. They?re not just going to the gym two hours a day. They?re not eating or they?re taking speed not to eat. In America everyone abuses that Adderall stuff and people aren?t normal.?
Her raw interview doesn?t name any names but she is clearly referring to people that she has spent a lot of time with and monitored their eating habits. However, despite her growing confidence now she is Mrs Cooper, Lily says she doesn’t like wearing certain clothes if she feels like there is too much on display. But despite her own insecurities she says Sam makes her feel brilliant and loves every piece of her body.
On their wedding day, it was also revealed that the couple are pregnant and her tiny bump was slightly visible underneath her gorgeous dress. Even before Lily and Sam became husband and wife, she had personalized Louis Vuitton luggage made with her married initials LRC (Lily Rose Cooper) printed, which she says freaked her husband out.
?He was really freaked out when he saw it. I practised my signature within an hour of him proposing?, she said.
[From The Mail]
Sigh? remember when Lily used to get wasted at award shows and slag off Kate Moss and Elton John? That drunk bitch got sober! Good for her, sure, but it?s kind of funny to hear her talk about her misspent liquor-soaked days like she only realized she should change her ways when she met her current husband. I remember Lily back when she was a mess - and she really was a mess, publicly and vocally. Lots of people were like ?Lily has a problem? or “Lily was so drunk, she had to be carried out of a black tie event” or “Lily got all coked up and started a Twitter feud with —–” or ?Lily is sauced again, she?s ruining her career.? But it took Sam to change her, according to her. Oh well? I hope her pregnancy is healthy and I hope she and Sam stay tight.

Soaking up all of the joys that wedded bliss has to offer, Lily Allen just can't stop gushing about her recent nuptials to Sam Cooper.
Earlier this week, the blushing bride took to her Twitter account to make her married life a little more official (to the world of social media, at least) - by changing her username from @lilyroseallen to @MrsLRCooper.
Newlywed Lily also took to the site to tell followers, "I had the most amazing wedding, Thank you to everyone who went to such extraordinary efforts to make it that way."
Adding to this super-special time in their lives, hubby Sam announced that the two are expecting a baby - this comes just seven months after Allen endured a miscarriage.

Last we heard from Lily Allen, she had her second miscarriage. It was a terrible time for her but undeterred, she tried again. This time keeping news of her pregnancy out of the public spotlight. Until today when The Sun reported the 26-year-old married her boyfriend Sam Cooper at a church for a country wedding while sporting a baby bump because she’s four months pregnant.
The only thing that threatened to ruin her big day was a zit on her nose which she later tweeted she had “lanced with a safety pin. FYI it was gross.” Other than that, there was no miscarriage so it could be said that Sunday was a rousing success.
