Stepping out for a good cause, Whitney Port made her way over to the Esprit store in New York City early on Saturday (November 13).
The MTV reality star was all smiles as she autographed and pounded on a giant drum to celebrate the Big Bang event.
Tweeting about the outing, Miss Port happily wrote, "Just arrived to the Esprit Big Bang event in NYC! come say hi and bang the drum for charity!"
As for the cause, "Big Bang" is "a celebration around the world to raise awareness for the good works of the charity, SOS Children's Villages."
With the public invited to turn up and pound on the percussion instrument, Esprit is set to donate half a million Euros to the new SOS Children's Village in India once the drum counter reaches the 3 million mark.

Spending a fun-filled evening on the town, Whitney Port was spotted making her way around New York City on Thursday night (November 11).
The MTV reality star was bundled up for the chilly Big Apple weather as she ventured over to Villa de Pacri to take in an intimate live performance by James Blunt.
Over the course of the week, Miss Port has also been focused on her upcoming book efforts, as she tweeted, "Meeting about my book True Whit today!!!! I can't believe it's coming out soooo soon!"
As previously reported by GossipCenter, True Whit is described as a ?conversational, fun, and candid guide for girls looking to start out [in life] with style.?
Whitney told of the project, ?Being a twenty-something can be a difficult phase. There are so many questions, and I wanted to write about my experiences for anyone who needs help navigating through life.?

She has already bounced back from having her show ?The City? canceled, and Whitney Port was spotted hard at work on her new project yesterday (November 3) in Santa Monica.
The former ?Hills? hottie chatted away on her mobile phone as she waited to film footage for ?Genuine Ken: The Search for the Great American Boyfriend.?
Since her filming permit didn?t work out, Whitney ended up heading home without having captured any footage.
Miss Port blogged, "The purpose of the show is to find a guy that embodies all of the qualities of Barbie's longtime boyfriend, Ken. Today is the first day of filming and I was so nervous this morning because I've never hosted something before. I called my mom and she just totally eased my nerves (I'm still such a mama's girl haha)."

Fresh off of the announcement that her MTV show's been canceled, Whitney Port was looking for a cheer-me-up as she headed out to get pampered in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (October 26).
The 25-year-old reality star/designer was joined by a gal pal as the two lovely ladies sipped on their coffee after finishing up a mutual mani-pedi session.
Earlier in the day, Miss Port took to Twitter to talk about "The City" coming to an end, as she wrote, "It's always sad when one major chapter in your life comes to a close, but for me, this is the beginning of an entirely new one."
?I loved filming The City. It was just such an adventure and I'm so grateful for every opportunity it gave me,? she continued. ?I want to thank you all for your continued support, you have no idea how much you mean to me. I'll be keeping you up to speed on everything going on in my life right here on my blog. I love you guys!!!!?

There?s been speculation for weeks now, and with the cancellation of ?The City? confirmed on Monday, Whitney Port has taken to her blog to express some thoughts.
Earlier today (October 26), the California girl wrote, "It's always sad when one major chapter in your life comes to a close, but for me, this is the beginning of an entirely new one."
?I loved filming The City. It was just such an adventure and I'm so grateful for every opportunity it gave me,? she continued.

Clad in an itsy-bitsy bikini, the "City" star and her beau embarked on an afternoon stroll by the harbor before grabbing a poolside perch at their hotel.
Once situated in their lounge chairs, Whitney and Ben proceeded to lovingly fondle one another while Miss Port also caught up on her gossip with a copy of Us magazine.
The trip to Hawaii comes as Port joins numerous celebrities in the Aloha state to celebrate the opening of the new Marriott Waikiki "Edition" Hotel.

Joined by a few friends, the "City" chick made the visit to the Aloha state to celebrate the opening of the new Marriott Waikiki "Edition" Hotel.
Also accompanied by her boyfriend, Whitney ended the day with some poolside PDA with Ben Nemtin before taking in the scenic sunset from their hotel balcony.
The tropical getaway comes after a busy past few weeks for Miss Port, as she recently made visits all around the globe.
Blogging about the adventures, Whitney wrote, "Over the last month I have been blessed to be able to travel all over the world. I went to Tokyo, then Dubai and then Liberia. I've been on every plane, train, and automobile! Here are some cute traveling pics from my most recent trip to Africa. My #1 travel accessory for this trip was my itinerary prepared by the travel doctor. My dad, Paige and I each studied up on our guides. As you can see we were a little nervous for what was to come, but it ended up being the most amazing experience of my life."
