As we reported yesterday, there has been some tabloid discussion over 13 year old Lourdes Leon?s involvement in the Material Girl line for Macy?s. According to Madonna?s own words, Lola pretty much runs the joint, with some help from Madonna and a team of experts and designers. But still, Lola basically has a career now, much to her father?s chagrin. My opinion is that Madonna is probably trying to keep Lola occupied and channel her youthful energy into something productive, rather then allowing Lola to spend her time in a haze of drugs and sex, etc, much like Madonna spent her teenage years, maybe?
Anyway, yesterday evening, there was a press event for Material Girl in New York. Madonna and Lola showed up, of course, as did the panda-face of the line, Taylor Momsen. The photos of Madonna, Lola and Taylor posing together are just? ten kinds of wrong. The body language, the insanity of Raccoon McPantless, and the de facto acceptance and legitimacy McPantless is getting from this - I mean, yes, she?s a total sellout, but she?s a sellout that little girls are going to admire and want to emulate. Girls like Lola.
And look at Madonna?s face! She looks like she thinks she?s absorbing Lola and Raccoon?s youth just by standing next to them. This is what happens when you?re too busy trying to be ?hip? and ?cool? rather than trying to be a good mom. Because I think a good mother would take one look at Raccoon McPantless and say ?Jesus Christ, step away from my daughter, put on some pants and wash your face you little crackhead.? Madge also looks drugged?? Ugh. These photos are making me nauseous. This is some Dorian Gray sh-t. And Lola?s face is saying it all: ?OMG, Mom! You?re embarrassing me in front of Raccoon McPantless!!!?

Enjoying her time overseas, Taylor Momsen was spotted out in Paris, France last night (September 13).
The ?Gossip Girl? first actress headed over to the Laperouse restaurant where she hung out on the balcony, giving the paparazzi a few quick shots of her backside.
Following her delicious dinner, Miss Momsen made her exit only to find a swarm of French shutterbugs waiting for her outside as she headed over to perform at the John Galliano 'Eau de Toilette' launch.
As for the appearance, Taylor has been named as the face of Galliano?s new women?s fragrance Parlez-Moi d?Amour, due out next month.

Taking her rock and roll stylings to late night television, Taylor Momsen was spotted at ?The Late Show with David Letterman? yesterday (August 25).
Joined by her band The Pretty Reckless, the ?Gossip Girl? actress looked her usual punk chick self as she posed outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre.
Taylor has been busy promoting her upcoming album Light Me Up, set to hit stores all over on Tuesday, August 31st.
In addition, Miss Momsen has also been working hard to drum up interest in Madonna?s new clothing line Material Girl.

Stepping out for a press appearance, Taylor Momsen was spotted at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge this morning (August 23).
The ?Gossip Girl? actress looked lovely in a black leather jacket with a black top, black thigh-high stockings, and black platform heels.
During her interview, Taylor discussed the constant comparisons to Hole lead singer/notorious party girl Courtney Love.
She explained, ?I mean, it?s a compliment- she?s great. It?s not really? the sound is very different, I think, than the Hole records, but there?s not that many females that front rock bands.?

The ?Gossip Girl? babe looked super hot as she took the stage at the O2 Academy in Islington in front of a packed house.
Speaking about her personal sense of style, Taylor recently told press, ?I dress for myself. Clearly, it?s provocative, but it makes me feel good. And if the only reason it makes someone uncomfortable is because I?m 16, then that person?s a scumbag because it shouldn?t matter.?
She added, ?People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna?s wearing f? leather jackets, and it?s really annoying.?

I would want to smack 17-year-old Taylor Momsen if she wasn?t so unintentionally hilarious. She constantly reminds me of Megan Fox, actually. Both Megan and Taylor are really, epically stupid little girls who think they are absolutely brilliant, and, like, the most original artists EVER. Both have a way with soundbytes and both try to front like they?re seriously hard bitches when you can tell that both of them would probably rather be curled up in bed with The Babysitters Club collection. Anyway, Taylor has given an interview to Spin Magazine (excerpts at Spin here), and she?s her usual HARDCORE RACCOON self. What does this week?s Poseur Provocateur have to kvetch about? How she dresses like a ?high-class hooker? and how people think she?s a drug-addicted ?crazy f-ckin? psycho? and how Rihanna sucks. Um? Team RiRi. Here are the highlights:
Taylor on how she?s not a role model: ?I am not a role model.? That’s what Momsen told SPIN over lunch in a New York City diner, after arriving dressed in thigh-high black nylons and itty-bitty jean shorts with her bleached-blonde hair cascading over skinny shoulders, a look she describes as “high-class hooker.” “I dress for myself,” she says. “Clearly, it’s provocative, but it makes me feel good. And if the only reason it makes someone uncomfortable is because I’m 17, then that person’s a scumbag because it shouldn’t matter.”
What She’s Not: A “drug addict,” a “crazy f-ckin’ psycho who’s gonna end up in the gutter next week,” or a rebel. “I’m figuring out who I am and what I want to be doing,” she says.
Ooh, a sodomy reference! ?On the Pretty Reckless’ debut, Light Me Up, Momsen wails about getting damaged (the dive-bar anthem “My Medicine”), disrobing (the propulsive “Goin’ Down”) and fessing up to some “not-okay” urges (”Light Me Up”). Elsewhere, she sings, “I’ll let you in through the back door” on a song that could just be about a house party. Right??
On how her ?bad experiences? have f-cked her up: When asked about the basis for these suggestive lyrics, the otherwise chatty Momsen chooses her words carefully. “I’m not really sure how to answer properly yet,” she admits. “I’ve had a lot of bad experiences, and whether that’s from sex or drugs or something else, they are adult experiences that would f-ck anyone up.”
On how Rihanna sucks: Momsen is very protective of what she considers “rock,” a word she uses frequently. “People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna’s wearing f-ckin’ leather jackets, and it’s really annoying.”
Music keeps Taylor ?young? (at 17 years old, mind you): “I was at a point where I was getting up and going to work, but I was drained,” she says. “Gossip Girl gave me a platform to make this happen faster, and I’m grateful, but if I’m not doing something that makes me happy, then I’m dying. Music keeps me young.”
Taylor speaks the truth: “I know nobody wants to like our music. Online, people said, ‘I really wanted to hate [the EP] but I like it.’ I hope things continue on that path. But I’ll be making more records whether people are listening to them or not.”

Just a few corrections I?d like to make to Taylor?s comments: first of all, you do not look like a ?high class? hooker. You look like a cracked-out hooker who sells her body for rock and eyeshadow. And yes, it makes me ?uncomfortable? and thus, I am a ?scumbag?. So sue me, I don?t like that there are millions of photos of your coked-out panda face everywhere, showing off your panties and your bra and your thigh-highs. It?s been done before and it?s been done better. Also: a leather jacket does not equal ?rock?. If Rihanna is not hardcore enough for you, fine. But don?t make it about a leather jacket, for God?s sake. One more thing: I don?t doubt that you?ve ?had a lot of bad experiences, and whether that’s from sex or drugs or something else, they are adult experiences that would f-ck anyone up.” I think you?ve probably had f-cked up teenage sex, probably with one of those creepy middle-aged dudes in your band, and I think you?ve probably also done drugs. These are not particularly enriching experiences, whether you?re a teenager or whether you?re in your 30s. The difference? Your mom should not be allowing any of this.

Last month, Little Miss Raccoon McPantless was acting all hardcore, as usual, and she giving interviews right and left to promote her band (The Pretty Reckless) and their new album (which is getting solid reviews). I kept it in mind that Taylor was about turn 17 years old, after a very long, exhaustive year of being completely ridiculous at 16. Will the seventeenth year be any better? No, no it won?t. Last month, Taylor Momsen told a reporter from Disorder Magazine that her vibrator was her ?best friend?. She also told a local newspaper that she was trying to ?bring back and reinvent rock n? roll? and that she?s tried of people getting all up on her grill for her pantless jailbait act and ?it?s like we?re living in the 1960s again.? Of course, that?s not going to stop her from saying absolutely ?scandalous? things. So Taylor is so hardcore, she gave an interview to a New Zealand radio station (sidenote: I give her credit for consistently doing local press), and she?s so hardcore, she made a joke about priests molesting children! HARDCORE. Here are some highlights from her interview:
Taylor on Catholicism: “I was raised Catholic. I f-cked a priest once — I’m just kidding.”
On writing a song about molester priests: “It seemed like a very fitting song to write at the time. It was kind of a f-ck you to all the molestation going on. It was just insane.”
On not being a role model: “The reality of it is, you don’t know me. You’re not in my living room. You’re not on my tour bus…It’s cool to look up to people and think that they’re cool, but be who you are.”
On her vibrator: “It doesn’t talk back to me, so it’s really not a best friend? I’m not a whore for masturbating, so f*** you if you want to call me one. I think women should equally be allowed to pleasure themselves as much as men. I think that if that has any more controversy than a man talking about pleasuring himself, then there’s something wrong with the world.”
On her jailbait photos: “I don’t take [any of the stories about me] to heart; I just look at it this way: My f-cking tampon’s on the goddamn Internet.”
On Justin Bieber: “I don’t know who Justin Bieber is. I only know his name because it keeps being brought up to me. I listen to Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, so I have no idea who he is. That’s not a dis; I just don’t know.”

You know what the worst part is? This chick is getting pretty legit. She was named the panda-face of Galliano?s new perfume, and she was handpicked to be the raccoon-face of Madonna and Lourdes? line for Macy?s, which, in my book, makes her a pants-wearing sellout, but whatever. I was surprised to read another interview with Taylor where she actually is relatively nice about working with (for) Madonna and Lourdes. She told J-14 Magazine that when she was named the raccoon-face of the Material Girl line, ?I didn’t believe it. I was like, ‘Shut up. Stop it. What are you talking about?’ I was super-excited. It’s a really huge compliment and an honour to work with Madonna. Madonna is super-down-to-earth. She is a very cool chick, which is very nice to see. She’s Madonna. Lourdes reminded me a lot of my little sister. She’s 13 and my sister’s 13. She is a very sweet girl. She has great fashion sense, so it was actually a pleasure.? ?Actually? a pleasure. Like she was expecting it to suck, but she was just doing it for the money. SELLOUT.

Taylor Momsen showed up at Macy’s in New York to help promote Madonna and daughter Lourdes‘ new clothing line, “Material Girl”. I guess “promoting” means standing around looking like a tool. What you don’t realize is that those aren’t sunglasses she’s wearing. That’s her eye makeup.

It?s no secret that Taylor Momsen is the hardest, most consistently-pantless bitch out there. So when Taylor actually puts her little legs in a pair, my immediate urge is to scream at the top of my lungs, ?PANTS-WEARING SELLOUT!!!? Does it make it any better if Taylor was only wearing pants because, you know, like, she had, like, a modeling gig?!? Taylor is the raccoon face of Madonna and Lourdes? Material Girl line at Macy?s, and as such, Taylor made a promotional appearance in-store in NYC yesterday.
Of course, maybe now we know why Taylor always goes without pants. Because she has no idea how to pick a flattering pair. Seriously, this girl has a pretty good, slender, coltish body, and those pants make her look like she?s got a middle-aged pancake ass. And the belly shirt? Well, how Friends circa 1995 of you. Apparently, the whole event was mayhem, as pantless tween girls (who probably think Taylor is, like, the coolest, totally, like, ever) created ?PANDA?-monium.
To celebrate yeserday’s Material Girl launch at Macy’s, the “face” of the line, Taylor Momsen, and her band The Pretty Reckless, made a musical appearance at the store. And while we thought the morning’s promotional events were crazy, the evening concert took the frenzy to a whole other level.
A battalion of press photographers were far outnumbered by the hordes of excited teenage fans, many of whom were under the impression it was in fact Madonna herself who would be performing. While the Pretty Reckless is actually a pretty good jam, would could have noticed?
By the time Momsen took a late start on the stage, we were sandwiched by a group of teenagers who’d taken over the press section, which was not-so-conveniently located to stage left. An inexplicable crush of camera phones and squeals ensued, bodies carelessly shoved us into a clothing rack, and with hardly any time to catch our breaths, we were kicked out of the press section by security as we stammered to explain our credentials.

Those poor tweens. They?re going to be so embarrassed they did that in a year. For real. Also: doesn?t Taylor look like ?Harley Davidson Barbie?? Or like she?s dressed up as the butch biker from The Village People. For Halloween.
