It?s no secret that Taylor Momsen is the hardest, most consistently-pantless bitch out there. So when Taylor actually puts her little legs in a pair, my immediate urge is to scream at the top of my lungs, ?PANTS-WEARING SELLOUT!!!? Does it make it any better if Taylor was only wearing pants because, you know, like, she had, like, a modeling gig?!? Taylor is the raccoon face of Madonna and Lourdes? Material Girl line at Macy?s, and as such, Taylor made a promotional appearance in-store in NYC yesterday.
Of course, maybe now we know why Taylor always goes without pants. Because she has no idea how to pick a flattering pair. Seriously, this girl has a pretty good, slender, coltish body, and those pants make her look like she?s got a middle-aged pancake ass. And the belly shirt? Well, how Friends circa 1995 of you. Apparently, the whole event was mayhem, as pantless tween girls (who probably think Taylor is, like, the coolest, totally, like, ever) created ?PANDA?-monium.
To celebrate yeserday’s Material Girl launch at Macy’s, the “face” of the line, Taylor Momsen, and her band The Pretty Reckless, made a musical appearance at the store. And while we thought the morning’s promotional events were crazy, the evening concert took the frenzy to a whole other level.
A battalion of press photographers were far outnumbered by the hordes of excited teenage fans, many of whom were under the impression it was in fact Madonna herself who would be performing. While the Pretty Reckless is actually a pretty good jam, would could have noticed?
By the time Momsen took a late start on the stage, we were sandwiched by a group of teenagers who’d taken over the press section, which was not-so-conveniently located to stage left. An inexplicable crush of camera phones and squeals ensued, bodies carelessly shoved us into a clothing rack, and with hardly any time to catch our breaths, we were kicked out of the press section by security as we stammered to explain our credentials.

Those poor tweens. They?re going to be so embarrassed they did that in a year. For real. Also: doesn?t Taylor look like ?Harley Davidson Barbie?? Or like she?s dressed up as the butch biker from The Village People. For Halloween.

She?s been spending her summer on the road, and on Saturday (July 24) Taylor Momsen was spotted rocking out with her band The Pretty Reckless at the Vans Warped Tour.
The ?Gossip Girl? actress looked intense as she took the stage in West Palm, Florida, sporting a bra-revealing torn t-shirt, thigh-high stockings, garters, and clear high-heels.

Here are some new photos of Taylor Momsen acting like an age-appropriate lady on the Warped Tour this weekend. She?s so? delicate! Taylor is still doing press for the tour, and for her band?s just-released album. The Pretty Reckless?s new music video, ?Miss Nothing? came out last week, and people are still talking about it (video below). Mostly they?re talking about how dumb it is. But that didn?t stop Taylor from pontificating about what the video is really about, and how she?s ?trying to reinvent and bring back rock ‘n’ roll.? YIKES.
Taylor Momsen, eyes coated in thick rings of her trademark black eyeshadow, writhes and contorts on a table in a scene reminiscent of the Last Supper. She throws food, smashes glasses, and crawls off the table wearing little more than a leotard and a pair of clear heels.
The scene is from the just-released music video for a song called “Miss Nothing,” but it has people saying a lot about the 16-year-old singer.
Momsen (most well known for playing Jenny Humphrey on TV’s “Gossip Girl”) takes obvious pleasure in shocking people with an aggressively sexual persona. But as the frontwoman for the Pretty Reckless, playing today at the West Palm Beach stop of the Vans Warped Tour punk rock festival, she insists she’s just telling stories.
“It’s the way I live, I grew up looking at rock stars. It’s in my blood,” Momsen says. “I think aggression scares people. But if you’re scared, you’re feeling something. Yeah, there’s loud guitars and drums. The reaction, it’s really kind of sad.”
To Momsen (who will turn 17 on Monday), rock ‘n’ roll is rock ‘n’ roll, no matter how old she is.
“It’s like we’re living in the ’60s again. Haven’t we already all seen this? This has already happened.” She sounds exasperated. “Scantily clad clothing? It’s amazing that it’s shocking again, scaring people now, again.”
As for her public Twitter fight with celebrity gossip Perez Hilton, “That’s just tabloids ? People ask me about my life and try and create controversy and I’ll say what I say.”
If she’s itching to get rid of a previous era’s idea of 16-year-old girl behavior, she has a fonder feeling for that era’s music. Momsen described the Pretty Reckless as “the only real rock band on this tour” and says they shun modern sounds almost completely, listening to Led Zeppelin and the Beatles on the bus.
“I’m trying to reinvent and bring back rock ‘n’ roll,” she says. “I listen to the greats. I try to better myself.”
The band’s first full-length album, “Light Me Up,” is set for release Aug. 31. She credits the chaos of Warped Tour ? playing six days a week, at different times and stages every day ? with allowing the band to find its musical zone.
“You sound different every day, and there’s so much trying to adapt. It’s a very punk, get-up-there-and-hope-you-can-hear-yourself kind of tour. If you think playing every day is hard, I don’t know why you’re in a band,” she says. “I’m not a diva or a prima donna, I’m the opposite.”
She doesn’t mind all eyes on her in the “Miss Nothing” video, though.
“The song is telling an ambiguous story about a lover dying, and I’m depicting Mary Magdalene, and Jesus just died. It’s about not being able to live without a lover. It’s Mary Magdalene’s last supper, it’s my last supper, because I can’t live,” Momsen explains.
“But it’s just a video,” she says, and starts to laugh.

Here?s what I wish Taylor would explain: if we?re not supposed to find all of this oh-so-casual jailbait blasphemy offensive or ?shocking? then what?s the point? Sure, I shrugged and rolled my eyes, but Taylor?s intention was to actually be ?shocking? and by playing this little ?oh, everyone is judging me? game is so tired and stupid. What really scares me is that the act is working to some extent - Taylor grows more famous and more ?legit? by the minute. UGH.

Can you believe this sh-t? Real designers, real fashion houses, real style-makers are lining up to work with everybody?s favorite panda-faced pantless brat, Taylor Momsen. She?s 16 years old, she has a gutter mouth and a Megan Fox-esque habit of saying dumb, offensive, asinine bullsh-t, and she refuses to wear pants! Plus, the blackened eyes, the jailbait short skirts and garter belts, the stubborn need to copy moves from Cherie Currie and Courtney Love, all while never for once admitting it or paying appropriate homage. Is Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen the style world’s new darling?
After being unveiled as the face of Madonna’s new Material Girl clothing collection just last week, it’s now emerged that the 16-year-old starlet will front the campaign for John Galliano’s new fragrance, set to launch this autumn.
This will be Momsen’s biggest modeling gig to date, after making her debut in the New Look ads last year.
And fashion is clearly important to the wannabe rocker - she told MTV yesterday that she had fired her stylist so as to take more control over her look: ‘I think firing my stylist has allowed me to be more free. I was getting moulded into this thing that wasn?t who I am.’

The ?Gossip Girl? babe told press she needed to be able to express herself and didn?t enjoy being put under a certain heading.
Miss Momsen (16) told press, "I think firing my stylist has allowed me to be more free. I was getting molded into this thing that wasn't who I am."

Gossip Girl and ?Material Girl?? Madonna and her daughter Lourdes have teamed up to launch their Material Girl line for Macy?s and have chosen Taylor Momsen as the face for their ad campaign! The 16-year-old rebel rocker and actress will be the face for Material Girl?s Fall ads. The collection, which features back to school basics, also has some edgy, rocker-esque pieces.
Taylor has received a lot of attention for her own fashion sense; however, it hasn?t all been positive.
At least she is wearing something to cover her bum in this ad ? the young actress is known for wearing no pants, pairing shirts with ripped tights.

Having just released their 4-track EP on iTunes, Taylor Momsen and her band "The Pretty Reckless" were out promoting in New York City onTuesday (June 22).
The glammed-up rockers happened to be making an appearance at "Good Day New York" - where they offered up a live performance during the course of their visit.
Meanwhile, the "Gossip Girl" actress and her musical mates only have a few more days left before taking to the road.
The quartet will be heading off to take part in the Vans Warped tour, which will be going on from June 25 to August 15th.

Wrapping up a day in front of the cameras, Taylor Momsen was spotted leaving a photo shoot in New York City on Monday afternoon (June 21).
Clad in a black tank top, above-the-knee stockings and black Doc Martens, the "Gossip Girl" actress was quite displeased to find photogs awaiting her exit - as she gave them the middle finger before disappearing in the crowded city streets.
The sighting comes on the very same day in which Taylor's band, The Pretty Reckless, released their 4-track EP on iTunes.
Receiving solid reviews from multiple press outlets, Miss Momsen and her bandmates will be showing off their stage skills when they embark on the Vans Warped tour from June 25-August 15th.
