Taking time out of her day to catch up with a friend, Emma Roberts had lunch at Urth Caffe on Tuesday (June 18).
The "Scream 4" star looked adorable in a red short-sleeved top, blue jeans, and sandals as she laughed with her gal pal outside.
Last week, the 22-year-old actress stepped out at the Vans Custom Culture 4th Annual nationwide art contest in New York City.
Sitting on the judges' panel, Emma helped choose whose work of art based on a plain canvas Vans shoe would take home the prize.

Stepping out for a spot of shopping, Emma Roberts and Evan Peters showed up at a store in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (May 28).
The ?Scream 4? actress and her hunky beau picked up a few magazines and posed for photos as they encountered a group of fans on the street.
And of course, Emma was dressed in a darling getup, including a paisley printed satin dress with pink, orange, and purple swirls teamed with a hot Pink purse
Roberts was recently announced as a guest star in the upcoming season of her boyfriend Evan?s show ?American Horror Story,? slated to air this October.

Enjoying a couple's day out in the Big Apple, Emma Roberts and Evan Peters took at stroll through NYC's East Village neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon (May 21).
Seeming to be thoroughly enjoying each other's company, the pair walked hand in hand while sharing a few laughs along the way.
Last night, Emma took the stage for Glamour magazine's second-ever "These Girls" event, where the young starlet dished about wanting to exit Hollywood for a normal life.
"I was so busy pretending to experience everything [on-screen], I forgot to experience real life," Roberts said. The 22-year-old actress tried her hand at college when she enrolled at Sarah Lawrence, but things didn't go as planned.
After being the target of a nasty blog, the "Adult World" actress decided it was time to leave, "I wasn't getting what I wanted ... on my quest for real-life experience," she said.
"But I do have high hopes. When I'm 30, playing 21, maybe I'll have the graduation I always dreamed of."

Posing on the gritty streets of the Meat Packing District, Emma Roberts promoted "Adult World" at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Saturday (April 20).
The "Scream 4" star looked adorable in a white-and-navy patterned blouse and navy pants as she smiled sweetly on a stool outside.
Directed by Scott Coffey, the comedy follows a recent college graduate who believes she's destined to be a great poet, but instead winds up working in an adult book store.
Costarring in the film with the 22-year-old actress are John Cusack, Armando Riesco, Shannon Woodward, and Chris Riggi.

22-year-old Emma Roberts looked amazing at the Tribeca Film Festival yesterday in an amethyst Cushnie Et Ochs Spring 2013 satin dress. Although I wouldn’t really describe that color as amethyst. In my opinion, it’s more of a cross between Violet and Acai, like the deep azurite color of a magician’s cloak. And that was exactly what I told my orthodontist when he asked what color rubber bands I wanted, and yet I still somehow wound up with regular old purple. Seventh grade was NOT my year.

In career news, Emma has been hard at work on a new pilot called ?Delirium,? and it seems she?s just finished filming her scenes for the project.

The "Scream 4" star was casually dressed for the springtime weather in a white plaid shirt, denim cutoffs, tan boots, and a light fedora as she carried a couple of cool beverages back to her car.
Soon, you can catch the 22-year-old actress in the upcoming TV movie, "Delirium," set for release sometime next year.
In the flick, Emma plays Lena, a girl who falls in love in a world where love is deemed illegal and eradicated by a simple procedure. Earlier on Saturday, Ms. Roberts tweeted, "Last day on #Delirium! Had so much fun on this one."

Hard at work on her new project, Emma Roberts showed up on the Malibu set of the FOX pilot ?Delirium? yesterday afternoon (April 2).
The ?Celeste and Jesse Forever? starlet seemed to be enjoying her job as she filmed scenes and chatted with fellow cast and crew members in the gorgeous outdoor setting.
And during the course of the day, Emma took to her Instagram account to give her followers in inside look at her new gig, including a shot of the Malibu beach (?View from my trailer today?) and a bloody pair of jeans (?Wounded?).
In the new show, Miss Roberts plays a 17-year-old girl named Lena who has to get a mandatory surgery before she falls in love with a guy.

Keeping her teeth at their best, Emma Roberts made a trip to the dentist in Beverly Hills, CA on Friday (March 29).
The "Scream 4" actress kept her look casual, sporting cuffed jeans, red flats, and a palm tree-embellished tee while chatting on her phone as she exited the building.
Although she was quick to jump on her cell upon leaving, it looks like Emma wasn't pleased with her dentist's rules in the office.
Posting a photo to her Instagram page, the 22-year-old wrote, "I hate the dentist," while showing off a sign that read, "please turn cell phones off."
