Getting some fuel to wind down her week, Emma Roberts grabbed coffee with a friend in Los Angeles on Thursday (October 24).
The "We're the Millers" star dressed casually in a Pink sweater, blue jeans, and ankle boots as she chatted with her companion.
In a recent interview with Buzzfeed, the 22-year-old actress talked about joining boyfriend Evan Peters on the series "American Horror Story" for it's current season.
Describing a conversation with creator Ryan Murphy, Emma explained, "It was a complete surprise when he asked me to be on the show. I mean, I?ve been a fan of 'American Horror Story' since the first episode. I?ve wanted to be on it, but I just never really thought that they would put me on. When Ryan called me, literally, while he was talking to me, I was jumping up and down all around the rooms of my house. I was just so excited and to top it all off, the role is a dream role so I got very lucky.?

Picking up a few things for the rest of her week, Emma Roberts went to Bristol Farms and Rite Aid Pharmacy in West Hollywood on Wednesday (October 23).
The "We're the Millers" star smiled brightly at cameras in a black short-sleeved top, blue jeans, and black ankle boots.
Later that day, the 22-year-old actress plugged her boyfriend Evan Peters' show, "American Horror Story."
This season, Emma herself appears in the series and to help spur viewership, she tweeted, "Who's watching #ahs #coven tonight?" along with a photo of herself as a child in a witch costume.

Emma Roberts hit upDominique Ansel Bakery, home of the cronut, in New York the other day and tried to use her “celebrity” to skip the line. It didn’t work.
Upon seeing a queue of hungry customers winding around the block, the 22-year-old and her publicist allegedly attempted to skip to the front, but were sent to the back of the line by the doorman.
Emma apparently then slunk back to the end of the queue but gave up on waiting after several minutes.
Good. They should have thrown their cronuts at her stupid head too. Slink away in shame, Emma Roberts. Booo! Hiss! Grumble, grumble.

Hard at work mid-week, Emma Roberts shot scenes for "American Horror Story" on Wednesday (July 31) in New Orleans.
Clad in all-black, the "Aquamarine" actress accessorized her look with a black hat and shades as she strolled around the set during a break.
Recently, the 22-year-old niece of Julia Roberts has found support in her father Eric after her arrest last month during a domestic dispute with co-star boyfriend Evan Peters.
Speaking with the press, her actor dad said, "Here's the thing about couples, unless you're one of those people, you do not know what happened."
"It's their business," Mr. Roberts added. "She's in good shape? they're grown-ups."

Following Emma Roberts’ arrest for domestic violence after giving her boyfriend Evan Peters a bloody nose during a fight, Emma’s rep has come to her defense explaining the whole thing was a misunderstanding. “Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it.”
A source tells Us that Emma can get “wound up” during arguments while a second source reassures Us that, “They’re a couple young kids. Their romance is pretty extreme. They just behave in a way that’s very passionate.”
You see, guys. There’s no need to worry. They’re beating each other out of love. The more this escalates, the more they love each other. When one of them ends up with a split lip and a black eye, that just means they just got engaged.

It?s been a pretty rough month for Emma Roberts and Evan Peters, but it looks like they?ve kissed and made up.
The ?Hotel for Dogs? dame and her ?American Horror Story? boyfriend showed up in New Orleans on Tuesday (July 16) and Ms. Roberts broke down crying while chatting outside a film studio.
On July 7th, Emma was arrested for domestic violence after she attacked Peters at their hotel in Montreal, prompting guests to call the police.
Roberts? rep called the whole thing ?an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. The couple are working together to move past it.?

Yesterday, we covered the surprising story of Emma Roberts being arrested for domestic violence after biting and bloodying the nose of her boyfriend, Evan Peters (“American Horror Story”) from within in their Montreal hotel room. I attempted to take a very neutral stance about this incident that occurred on July 7. In doing so, I mentioned Emma’s father — Eric Roberts — in passing but decided not to discuss his violent past because I didn’t feel it proper to draw conclusions about Emma based upon her father’s actions. Certainly, Emma may have been influenced if she ever witnessed her dad’s ways, but it’s not fair to assume she could be violent simply because her father possesses … a history.
Let us be clear that nobody besides Emma and Evan knows what really happened in that hotel room. Also, we’re not sure if these two were under the influence of any alcohol or drugs either, but there seems to be an underlying current of thought, which holds that because Emma is smaller than Evan, she must have been defending herself. Who knows? All we really know is that Emma was arrested because Evan was (according to police) the one with visible injuries. In the aftermath of the yesterday’s revelation, Emma and Evan released a joint statement that explained the entire affair as being “an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding” and that they were “working together to move past it.”
In addition to what we already reported, there have been a few updates from TMZ. First off, there are new photos that show Evan comforting Emma Tuesday in New Orleans. We can assume from these photos that the couple had just learned that the media had reported the incident, but it could have been anything that caused the tears. In these photos, Emma is openly wailing, and Evan has placed his arms around his girlfriend. Strange, right? I’m not trying to talk smack about Emma merely because she is a female, but I do find it strange that Emma has “discovered” this new information on the street. I feel like even in the case of an informative phone call, a famous person would have immediately run indoors to escape the paps. But again, I’m not in Emma’s position. Now there is a disturbing report from Us Weekly that discusses Emma and Evan’s “passionate” and “extreme” relationship. Uh-oh:

As previously reported, Emma Roberts was arrested on domestic violence charges in Montreal July 7 after a heated argument with boyfriend Evan Peters reportedly turned physical. “It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it,” reps for Roberts, 22, and Peters, 26, told Us Weekly in a statement.
TMZ reported that the American Horror Story actor sustained a bloody nose and bite marks during the altercation, which took place in their hotel room. “Emma is very dramatic,” one source tells Us of the We’re the Millers actress, niece to superstar Julia Roberts, adding that she can get “wound up” during arguments. The July 7 episode, says the insider, went “way out of control.”
“They’re a couple young kids,” adds a second source of the “inseparable” and openly affectionate pair, who’ve been dating since spring 2012. “Their romance is pretty extreme. They just behave in a way that’s very passionate.”
This latest spat, doesn’t mean the end of the road for the former Adult World costars, who next team up for season three of American Horror Story, currently shooting in New Orleans. “They will not break up,” the first source insists. “When they are good, they are crazy in love.”

Ugh, the cycle of violence. Without getting too personal, I will admit to having a good friend who has been there to a degree although the first (and only) time she ever experienced the wrath of a violent partner, she hauled her ass out of the situation a few days later. But again, she was in neither Emma nor Evan’s position, and perhaps they’re both violent people. TMZ has also posted a few photos of Emma with bruises and bandages a few days after the reported altercation in Montreal. What a mess.

Well, this story comes as quite a surprise. The world doesn’t know too much about Emma Roberts except that she’s a bit of a Hollywood party girl who constantly gets papped exiting nail salons and blowout bars in between regular shopping jaunts. She’s also a semi-successful actress in that she gets regular work in moderate-to-small budget films, but Emma is a pretty one-note emoter.
Of course, Emma’s also the niece of Julia (and daughter of Eric Roberts), and she has a real chip on her shoulder when it comes to the topic of nepotism, which is “obviously not true.” Emma also tends to date rather nondescript dudes who are in the business but aren’t any more famous than she is. Like, she went out with Chord Overstreet for awhile and then dumped him and generally treated him like crap. Now things have gotten far less bland in Emma Roberts land — girlfriend has been arrested for domestic violence in Canada after she allegedly beat up her current boyfriend, actor Evan Peters (who she has been dating since last October). Supposedly, these two were going at it in a hotel room and were both hitting each other, but Evan was the one with a bloody hose and a bite mark, so Emma was the one who was arrested. This is such a crazy, disturbing story:
Emma Roberts was arrested for a domestic violence incident in Canada — after allegedly bloodying her boyfriend, Evan Peters … TMZ has learned.
22-year-old Emma — Eric Roberts’ daughter and Julia Roberts’ niece — was taken into custody early July 7 in Montreal after getting in an altercation with Peters … who stars in “American Horror Story.”
According to Montreal law enforcement sources … someone called police to report a fight in Evan and Emma’s hotel room.
We’re told when cops arrived … they observed Evan with a bloody nose. Emma was immediately arrested. One law enforcement source tells us Evan also had a bite mark.
Emma was released hours later because 26-year-old Evan did not want to press charges.
Sources close to Emma tell TMZ … Emma and Evan were hitting each other and she was arrested because he had obvious physical injuries. The sources deny Emma bit Evan.
Our sources also say the couple — last seen in public at the The Lone Ranger premiere (above) — is back together and both are working on “American Horror Story.”

Sad. Basically, nothing will come of this particular incident from a legal standpoint because the dude didn’t want to press charges, but it’s safe to say that Emma and Evan are in the midst of a rather violent relationship. And since they’re probably trapped in a cycle of physical arguments, this will happen again until one of them decides to press charges against the other. Nothing good can possibly come of this relationship, but at least the story might spread the message that women are not the only victims of domestic violence. Men can just as easily be physically abused by women, and it sounds like these two need some serious intervention.
Oh, and Emma and Peter are keeping a united front and have already released a joint statement to Us Weekly: “It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it.” Do with that what you will.

Emma Roberts, currently in Montreal shooting season 3 ofAmerican Horror Story, was arrested on July 7 after getting into a fight with her co-star/boyfriend Evan Peters.
Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ says someone called the cops when they heard some ruckus coming from Evan and Emma’s hotel room. Apparently it was from Emma beating Evan like he was Rihanna in the passenger seat.
Cops came and discovered Evan had a bloody nose and a bite mark. Emma was immediately arrested and taken into custody. She was released hours later because Evan didn’t want to press charges. Probably because she only gets like this when she drinks. She’s a good person. It was his fault, really.
Sources say they were both hitting each other and Emma was arrested because Evan was the only one with obvious physical injuries.
I think it’d be funny if, when the cops came, Evan started shouting, “How can she slap?! How can she slap?!”
