This Katy Perry and John Mayer perfectly-gross romance is already exhausting, isn’t it? They’re coming up on a month of dating, and neither one of them has bailed yet, which is odd because both of them should realize that when this ends — and it will — they’ll probably both be writing passive-aggressive hate songs about each other. Naturally, John would be outraged and humiliated like he was with Taylor Swift’s “Dear John” song even though he’s douchey enough to write a song about breaking up with Jennifer Aniston.
As for Katy, she’s already pitched a legal fit to keep Russell Brand from saying nice things about her even though she included him in her movie (despite his protests), and she wrote crappy, faux-goth song about him too. So it’s pretty rich that Katy has warned John not to “kiss and tell,” and she believes that he’ll comply. If you ask me (and you haven’t), they’re both pretty naive in that regard. Here’s the story from Star:
John Mayer is one of Hollywood’s most notorious Lotharios, with an ungentlemanly M.O. — he picks up hot stars, dates them for a short time, then blabs about their sex lives to anyone who will listen. But his latest conquest, Katy Perry, thinks she’s one step ahead of him by laying down the law and telling him that he’d better not openly talk about her — or else!
“Katy is a private person,” says a source. “She knows how John likes to brag about his love affairs with some of the women he’s dated. She made it clear that if he ever talks about what goes on between them, she’d have to move on.” John, whose past love victims include Hollywood hotties like Jennifer Love Hewitt, Minka Kelly, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston, thinks she’s overreacting. Still, even he has been apologetic about his oversharing in the past. he assured Katy he’ll never say anything to the media about them, no matter what happens down the road.

Meanwhile, there’s a new story in this week’s Enquirer that also points to trouble in double-douche paradise, but for a different reason — Katy was allegedly John’s second choice for current celebrity girlfriend. The original choice? Rihanna:
John Mayer may have won pop cutie Katy Perry’s heart, but she might not stick around for long after finding out she wasn’t his first choice! The Enquirer has learned the hunk originally had his sights set on Katy’s BFF Rihanna!
Insiders say the 34-year-old playboy — who’s long had a love ‘em, leave ‘em, and then dish dirt on ‘em reputation — put on a full-court press to get a date with the Barbadian bombshell, but she shot him down every time.
John first put the moves on Rihanna at a 2009 music industry party in New York. “They really hit it off,” one source explained. “John was smitten. He tried to lure her back to his place on seeral occasions, but Rihanna just laughed him off, saying she wasn’t his type. That only made him want her more. Rihanna has ALWAYS been a fantasy chick for John”
He tried again to seduce the 24-year-old stunner at a party last year, but Rihanna wouldn’t play along. And it was only after he’d exhausted all his efforts, say pals, that he turned his attention to Katy, 27. “Katy has no idea just how hard he tried to score with Rihanna,” said another source. “Now, her pals are worried she’s headed for heartache.”

I don’t think I really buy this story. First, Rihanna has terrible taste in men, so I think she may have actually gone for John if he truly put the moves on her. Secondly, John’s David Duke c**k theoretically wouldn’t permit him to be attracted to RiRi in the slightest, right? Then again, he claims to not even recall that Playboy interview anyway, so who knows. Maybe he has a very selective memory.

I’ll be perfectly honest here and admit that I only really wanted to write about these new Katy Perry photos (part of her new advertising campaign for the hair brand ghd) because of a certain other set of NSFW photos of Katy at a waterpark and losing her bikini down a water slide. Essentially, her booty was exposed for all of the gathered spectators as well as the paps, and eventually, us as well. Here’s my question — it is now confirmed that Katy has a very lovely figure, right? I know that I hate on her quite a bit, but one can’t deny the power of that (marvelously white) booty.
Now onto the actual subject of this post: Katy’s latest advert campaign, which was shot by the legendary Ellen von Unwerth for hair brand ghd. The shoot itself is rather glamorous and unlike the candy-cane confections that we’ve come to expect from anything associated with Katy. However, I find it quite odd that People has declared Katy to be “naturally gorgeous“ in this shoot (which promises a “a good hair day with katy“) for ghd’s brand, which primarily pertains to hair-straightening devices. This is all well and good except that Katy’s actual hair looks like this right now. Even if one takes into account that this shoot may have taken place a few months ago, Katy’s hair has never really looked like this … except when she wears a wig. So this would obviously be a very clear-cut case of false advertisement, right?

Maybe we’re supposed to be okay with the declaration that this shoot required a “genius hair stylist” who was actually a “wig stylist.” Or maybe it just doesn’t matter that Katy is being just as fake as she always is while selling hair products. Does it really even matter? I’m not currently in the market for a hair-straightening iron, but if I was, ghd wouldn’t even be on my radar thanks to this campaign.

As far as bikini pictures go, these aren’t really the greatest I’ve ever seen, but they’re of Katy Perry and that doesn’t happen all that often so I’m kind of excited. I don’t really understand the weird pantaloon bottoms, it seems like a waste of a good booty, but those big hipster breasts look pretty

Looking to cool off and have some fun, Katy Perry donned a bikini and hit the waterslides in San Dimas, California yesterday afternoon (August 12).
The ?Hot N Cold? singer looked fabulous as she frolicked around the Raging Waters Waterpark with a few friends and plenty of fans.
And during her adventures, Katy even got a little crazy and tried her hand at boogie boarding much to the delight of onlookers.
As for her romantic status, Ms. Perry spent some time with John Mayer again this weekend, though she tried her best to go undetected.

Here’s some photos of Katy Perry outside a movie theater with some friends on Saturday. She left the theater with popcorn before getting into the passenger seat of a car and flipping off photographers. Those photos are below the post because, well, it’s Katy giving the finger, and she’s just so scandalous. On Saturday night, Katy was photographed attending a house party with John Mayer. That they’re even together is still really gross, right?
Meanwhile, Katy is harboring some double standards when it comes to ex Russell Brand. She apparently had no issue with including footage of him in her movie even though Russell begged her not to. This is not to mention her not-so-thinly veiled song about Russell, “Wide Awake,” which arrived complete with a faux-goth video wherein she punched Prince Charming in the face. However, when Russell even makes the slightest mention of Katy, she reportedly isn’t having it.
In particular, Katy’s upset about the Howard Stern interview where Russell tried to evade questions about their marriage but then conceded, “I don?t want anything to hurt her. She?s younger than me, she?s a young woman and she?s beautiful and she?s sensitive and I care about her deeply ? I don?t want to be too glib.” Those are some surprisingly thoughtful words about an ex, and Russell said nothing wrong at all, but Katy was pissed anyway, and now she’s trying to legally prevent Russell from saying even that. Hypocritical much?
Katy Perry is seeking a gagging order to stop Russell Brand speaking about their failed marriage in public. The irate pop star has instructed her lawyers to stop her ex-husband from discussing their doomed relationship in TV interviews.
The celebrity couple are thought to have agreed to keep a dignified silence when agreeing terms of their quickie divorce in January. And Katy, 27, now wants that enforced by the law after Russell, 37, failed to live up to his end of the agreement.
According to friends of the “Part Of Me” singer, the final straw came last week when the comic made jokes about their sex life in a radio interview with Howard Stern.
A pal told the Daily Star Sunday: “Katy is fed up with Russell constantly making reference to their marriage in interviews. While it’s mainly harmless and often even complimentary, she’s sick to death of his comments being splashed all over the news and magazines. Katy went berserk after the interview with Howard Stern.
“She called lawyers and told them to put a gagging order on Russ to prevent him from speaking about her in public again. Katy vowed never to reveal the ins and outs of their marriage breakdown or speak about Russell in any way. All she wants is the same in return.”

Well, it’s not like Russell brought up the topic of Katy in his Stern interview. He was specifically (and perhaps unavoidably) asked about the demise of his marriage, and he kept his answer to a bare minimum. Hell, he even stated during that answer that he didn’t want to give details because he didn’t want to hurt Katy’s feelings. For what it’s worth, Russell not only has been gracious enough to not badmouth Katy, but he also (a few months ago) gave an earful to BBC tellie presenter Graham Norton: “My mum is here. She got upset when you dragged up my marriage. I have come here to promote a film and you made my mum cry. I don?t see you as that sort of person, Graham.” So the journos will ask their questions, but I guess now he’ll have to specify up front that he’s not allowed to even reference his ex-wife. Meanwhile, Katy will continue to earn royalties off Russell’s likeness once Part of Me hits DVD.
By the way, how amazing was Russell singing “I Am The Walrus” during last night’s Olympics closing ceremony in London? He kept it so classy too even though I’m sure he was dying to slip a few well-aimed pelvic thrusts into his routine.
Oh, and here’s an amusing closing note. Russell is also reportedly going to open his own yoga studio in Beverly Hills because — get this — he’s reportedly “had sex or flirtations” with far too many of the chicks at his current studio, and he’s finding it difficult to reach nirvana (or whatever) while surrounded with so many chicks that he’s bedded. Gross, right?

Going further to confirm the dating rumors, Katy Perry and John Mayer were spotted out together in Los Feliz, CA late Saturday night (August 11).
The new Hollywood couple were spotted leaving a house party together before leaving in the same car. The 27-year-old looked darling in a floral-print dress while she gave her aching toes relief and carried her platform heels after changing into simple black flats.
The "California Gurls" singer was spotted earlier in the afternoon heading into Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood with friends to catch a flick.
The brunette beauty donned a short floral print dress cinched at the waist and black flats as she grabbed a smoke and signed autographs for fans. As she exited in a car, she playfully flipped the bird to photographers.
Miss Perry and the "Daughter's" singer have been spotted together all over town, from leaving the Chateau Marmont together to a romantic dinner at Pace restaurant to Hollywood agent Michael Kive's celebrity gala.
For the latter, a source tells Life & Style, "Katy and John never left each other?s side and were flirting and affectionate the entire time. Katy loved it!?

Katy Perry and John Mayer were photographed together on a date at the Chateau Marmont hotel last night, where patrons reported that the walls suddenly began weeping Massengil and Summer’s Eve. Us Magazine says:
The date, the witness adds, was definitely romantic, with the “Teenage Dream” singer and Mayer “holding hands across the table,” sneaking kisses, and laughing.
The newly divorced Perry and Mayer [were also seen together] June 19 at Soho House in West Hollywood. “They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling!” an observer said. The couple met up the very next night at Perry’s place, where they munched on pizza.
I’d say that it might be a good time to invest in the pharmaceutical company that makes Valtrex, but at this point their STDs are probably so highly evolved that they’ve become each other’s antibodies. Our only hope that one of them is sterile.

Lending more credence to the fact that this may be a thing. During a 2009 interview in Australia, Katy Perry admitted she wanted to bang John Mayer.”I’d definitely shag the s**t out of him though. I’ll go on record saying that.”
I’m starting to notice a pattern in Katy Perry’s boyfriends. She goes for whatever guy makes the most salacious comments in the media. Since that’s the case, let me go on record to say I would have sex with Katy Perry so hard that I’d make an indentation in the wall with her face and then when she’s not around, I’d have sex with that indentation. Now I’ll just sit back and wait for Katy to contact me.
