It?s one of the most anticipated films at the 2010 San Diego Comic Con, and ?Sucker Punch? made its debut during a sneak preview on Saturday (July 24).
Along with the screening, the film?s stars Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Browning, Jamie Chung, and Jena Malone talked to press about what it was like making the ?Alice in Wonderland with machine guns? flick.
Ms. Browning explained, "We probably at the beginning all felt like, oh my God, we don't look like fighters. We're kind of all little girls. We trained our asses off -- we worked really hard."
"We had Navy SEALs training us. We trained for three months, six hours a day. And we got strong."
Jamie added, "If they weren't fighting [with] guns, they had withdrawal. Jenna was always talking about it ... she was so obsessed."

Making her way to sunny San Diego, Vanessa Hudgens was front and center at Comic-Con on Saturday (July 24).
There alongside her lovely co-stars Carla Gugino, Emily Browning, Jena Malone and Jamie Chung, the "High School Musical" hottie helped to reveal a brand new clip from her upcoming movie, "Sucker Punch".
Also starring Abbie Cornish and Jon Hamm, the Zack Snyder directed film is about "a group of young girls escaping the dark reality of their lives through their vivid imagination, which takes them to various fantasy locations in different realms."
During the press panel, Snyder confirmed that the movie will not be in 3D, saying, "It's not going to be in 3-D. I wanted it to be in 3-D, and we talked a lot about it, and we've looked at a lot of tests. None of us want to get kicked in the knees because our 3-D is crappy."
As for Miss Hudgens, she spoke with press prior to the event about being nervous over the Comic-Con appearance.
She said, ?I have never been before and I?ve heard it?s crazy there. We are promoting my new movie, Sucker Punch, there which I am really excited about and more than a little scared.?

Given the explosive nature of his fame, it?s a wonder Zac Efron hasn?t gone off the deep end with partying and excessive living like some of his young Hollywood peers have done.
But the ?High School Musical? stud says he?s had some help making sure he stays on the straight and narrow- his relationship with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
Zac told press, ?It helped me through quite a bit. There are myriad distractions to fall into in this business.?
He continued, ?To have someone to share with and to relate to is a very valuable gift.? Efron has also vehemently denied any wedding plans with Vanessa at this time.

There?s been all kinds of talk around the gossip mill about a possible engagement on the way for Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, but it turns out it?s all wrong.
According to a report, the claims that the ?High School Musical? pair are getting betrothed are nothing more than a publicity ploy by attention-hungry bloggers.
One source said a pal of Efron told them, ?The proposal has been something Zac has been thinking about for awhile. He already has the ring picked out and I wouldn?t be surprised if we saw the two engaged this summer.?
A spokesperson for Efron declared, ?They are not moving in, getting married, or breaking up,? in response to the story.

The ?Sucker Punch? cutie donned some baggy sweats as she headed out to LA for some retail therapy, covering her face from the paparazzi and moving quickly to her car.
Fresh from the rumor mill, there's brand new (most surely to be untrue) claims that Vanessa?s longtime boyfriend Zac Efron has picked out an engagement ring and is planning to propose.

Stepping out for a morning fitness session, Vanessa Hudgens looked refreshed and relaxed after a yoga class in Studio City, California on Tuesday (June 29).
Joined by a gal pal, the "Sucker Punch" sweetheart headed over to her parked Audi - which had racked up a parking ticket during the course of her workout.
On the work end of things, Miss Hudgens is currently preparing for a short stage stint in Neil Patrick Harris' Hollywood Bowl showing of "Rent" in August.
Recently talking with Glamour magazine about juggling her young fans' expectations and her career path - which is beginning to take on more adult-oriented roles, Nessa tells, "When I am around kids and they come up to me, of course I am going to act a certain way. But at the end of the day, I?m doing this for myself. I?m going to be doing movies kids can?t watch.?

Pushing forth with her career post-High School Musical, the 21-year-old dished about her ties with Disney and her instant attraction to boyfriend Zac Efron.
As for being a former Disney tween queen, Nessa tells, "It?s so funny. Because before High School Musical, I wanted to be a nitty-gritty actress. And High School Musical came along, and, I was like, ?Oh my God, fun!? But the more we did it, the more prude I became?. When I am around kids and they come up to me, of course I am going to act a certain way, but at the end of the day, I?m doing this for myself. I?m going to be doing movies kids can?t watch.?
Moving on to her connection with Zac, Miss Hudgens said, ?We got lucky because we started off together, so I think people like us because they fell in love with the characters. Right off the bat, we had a connection. I think everybody could see it. When we had our audition, they paired us together. And he was adorable. I mean, he wasn?t the guy that he is today. Like, he had a gap in his teeth. Yeah! You wanna see? He was a whole different person. Hold on. [She reaches for her iPhone to find a photo of Zac on it.] You?ll laugh!?

Ending the weekend with a relaxing shopping session, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted making her retail rounds in Malibu, California on Sunday (June 27).
The "Sucker Punch" sweetheart looked summertime stylish as she took to the popular Cross Creek center to load up on new additions to her wardrobe.
Among the stops, Miss Hudgens popped into Planet Blue and Intermix - leaving with a handful of purchases from each spot.
On the career front, Vanessa is enjoying a little downtime before her planned stint on the stage as Mimi in Neil Patrick Harris's Rent at the Hollywood Bowl.
