Hot on the promotional trail, Amanda Seyfried was spotted making an appearance on the ?Martha Stewart Show? in New York City today (May 13).
The ?Big Love? babe was in the house to drum up interest in her new film ?Letters To Juliet,? looking pretty in a black jacket, blue dress, and beige heels.

What do you think of this dress? I can?t decide. At first I thought it was pretty, but when I got a closer look at it, I kind of thought it looked like paint chips fanned out. I love blue, and Amanda Seyfried wears blue well. But still - is she enough to pull this dress off? You decide.
Amanda wore the dress to the LA premiere of Letters to Juliet, which she?s also promoting heavily in television and print interviews. She sat down with Chelsea Handler a few days ago, and they ended up talking about Amanda?s foot tattoo. I think we?ve already talked about this before (but maybe not) - Amanda has the word ?minge? tattooed on her foot. ?Minge? is British slang for ?vadge?. I think it?s like the English equivalent of ?p-ssy? although the Brits use ?p-ssy? too. I don?t know. If any English people want to correct me, go ahead. Amanda told Chelsea: ?It means vagina and kind of proud of it. It’s my nickname. You can’t see it, but it’s called Minge and it’s slang in England. It has something to do with your pubic hair in the dictionary.” Here?s the interview:
I guess it?s cute. I don?t know. I don?t think I would want ?minge? tattooed on me, anywhere, especially not my foot. But if it?s her nickname? Eh.
Amanda also has an interview in Parade Magazine, but I found it too boring to even put up. She?s talking about long-distance relationships and how hard they are. Blah.

Her star just keeps on rising, and Amanda Seyfried was spotted at the premiere of her new movie ?Letters to Juliet? in Hollywood last night (May 11).
The ?Big Love? babe looked amazing in a sexy strapless black/silver/grey dress as she posed for the paparazzi outside the Grauman?s Chinese Theater.
During her interview on the ?Tonight Show with Jay Leno,? Amanda talked candidly about the awkwardness that comes with her dad seeing her getting freaky onscreen.
?The sex thing doesn?t go so well when my dad?s involved. I don?t like it when he sees me in any way, shape, or form being sexual- which is normal- I think a lot of people feel the same way.?

I know you guys think I give Amanda Seyfried a hard time. Sometimes I don?t give people enough of a chance, I know. Maybe I overreacted to what I saw as Amanda?s snotty, Paltrow-esque statements like ?I sacrificed six years in L. A. I did my job out here. I made the contacts and did the work I had to do? I feel lucky it wasn?t longer.? Oh, and this one, on how she feels about signing on to romantic comedies: ?It?s hard because they pay a lot of money. Sometimes, when you want to buy an apartment in Manhattan, you gotta do one or two. But in most cases you don?t need to be doing them?there are enough action flicks to keep you busy.?
So I?m going to write about Amanda?s appearance on the new (?) issue of InStyle Hair. I love that InStyle thought they needed to devote a special edition of their magazine just for hair. I like looking at hairstyles as much as the next girl, but let?s mix it up with some fashion and makeup too! So, Amanda is the cover girl, and on InStyle?s site, this is the sole quote they have from her: ?I would chop [my hair] all off for a movie, but the role would have to be worth it.? Because she?s Jennifer Aniston now? Like when you think of famous hair, you think ?Amanda Seyfried?. NO, I said I was going to be nice. But don?t you get the feeling that Amanda is a legend in her own mind?

What is Amanda Seyfriend and Dominic Cooper’s secret to a successful long-distance relationship? Racking up lots of frequent flier miles, of course, but the actors also depend on their computers.
“We Skype,” Seyfried, 24, tells InStyle Hair on newsstands Friday about her U.K.-based beau. “It’s boring, but it’s true.”
For the actress, who admits “there’s nothing easy about” a long-distance relationship, and her Mamma Mia! costar-turned boyfriend, talking to each other with a webcam has become so ritual, “We don’t even sit in front of the computer,” she says.
“The other day, I was cleaning, he was cleaning,” she recalls. “We couldn?t see each other ? we were just scrubbing away and talking like we were in the same room.”
But when the two do want to get in some real face time, they hop on planes, though it’s not always easy given their busy schedules.
“I worked hard in 2009, but it didn’t seem that hard,” she tells the magazine. “I spent two months in London with Dominic. I shot in Verona, Italy, [for Letters to Juliet]. I mean, how hard is that?”
So is Seyfriend a sucker for Cooper’s English accent? “To be honest, I don?t even notice it anymore,” she says about her boyfriend of three years. “It was really sexy at first ? and I still find it so attractive on other British men ? but I’ve been with him now for so long, I don?t hear it. He’s like an extension of me.”

What?s the fun in having a skeezy British boyfriend if you?re not around to f-ck his brains out and listen to his accent? That?s the only reason I?d date a skeezy Brit. And trust me, Dominic is a skeezy Brit - who has been rumored to be romancing several ladies while he and Amanda are apart. But she sticks with him for some reason. Maybe she really is trying to be the new Gwyneth? Only Dominic seems a lot cooler than Chris Martin, honestly. Let me put it this way: I have nightmares about Chris Martin?s bug eyes lunging at me and attacking me, and when I hear Dominic speak, I think ?Oh, a skeezy little pocket-sized Clive Owen! Yum.? Big diff.

Last year, there were some accusations and rumors thrown around the British press that Dominic Cooper, best known as that English bloke who is boning American actress Amanda Seyfried, was screwing around on his lovely girlfriend. Dominic was maybe getting busy with a costar named Ruth Negga, amongst others, although I also allowed for the theory that Amanda and Dominic were doing the off-and-on relationship thing. Well, after months without any red carpet appearances together, it looks like they?re back on! Dominic came out with Amanda for her big premiere of Letters to Juliet.
However? their appearance was really strange. I?m a bit bewildered as I go through these photos, because in nearly every one of them, Amanda looks like she?s trying to disengage herself from Dominic?s grasp. Did they have a fight right before they came out? Or does Amanda just not want to do the cutesy, coupley red carpet thing while Dominic just wants to get it over with. Weird. Methinks there will be an official split announcement sometime soon.
By the way, even though I think Amanda is a f-cking brat, I will say that ordinarily I find her to be gorgeous. This is not one of those times. That hair and that outfit are terrible. And the makeup makes her look like a Twihard wannabe- in other words, corpsey.
