Isla Fisher is the cover girl for InStyle UK Magazines February 2009 issue. Here are some highlights :On Hollywood:?I met with one big agent and he goes to me, ?You are so talented?. I said,?Oh, gosh, thank you. What have you seen me in?? And he said,?Nothing?. It was my first real taste of Hollywood.?On not being an ?exercise person?:?You know the point where somebody working out starts to feel tired? Apparently, you get this second wind and you really start to sweat, and that?s when you get addicted. But for me, that?s the point I get off and have a cup of tea and a slice of cake.?On being funny: ?I was getting rejected so much and Sacha said,?You?re so funny?, so that, coming from him?I just think it?s the fact that I can juggle condiments for him.?On Sacha Baron Cohen: ?Most people can say to their partners,?How was your day at work? What time are you home for dinner?? I have to say,?Are you getting sued? Have you been arrested? Are you in jail? Are all your limbs still attached?? He has more lawsuits than the Baldwin brothers.?On her role in Wedding Crashers: ?The director wanted me to play it like Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct and I said,?No - you mean Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction?.?On love and converting to Judaism: ?Love is an incredible gift if you?re lucky enough to receive it and give it, and I think having a baby is another whole level of love. I think it?s great to have those boundaries and have one day that?s sacred where we don?t talk about work. And I love having more structure and rituals in my life - it?s really enriching.?On fashion catastrophes: ?At the Golden Globes last year, I wore this beautiful midnight blue Herv Lger dress with a fitted bodice and a huge skirt - it was incredible, like a princess meets a slut. But someone stepped on my train and ripped the back. There?s a classic shot where I?m smiling really serenely over my shoulder, but my tush is totally exposed! The Sun called me ?Isla Flasher?, but what can you do??On photographers in LA: ?With the paparazzi, it?s really difficult. You make decisions during your day based around how much privacy you can get for your child, and when you?re protecting a tiny person from scary men swarming around them with massive black things in their face, screaming their name, it takes on a whole new thing.?On being a natural beauty: ?I think nothing?s sexier than laughter lines. I think Lauren Hutton is beautiful and she?s natural. I haven?t done the white teeth - I haven?t really Americanised my look. But we?ll see what happens when you interview me in five years. Maybe I?ll be looking permanently surprised.?On Shopping: ?I shop very rarely and very poorly. ?The [fashion] things I buy are rarely a hit. I?ll see something I like, and then take it home and it doesn?t work with anything else.?Isla Fisher - The February 2009 cover of Allure

| Isla Fischer: Pregnant women are 'subject to body fascism' | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I imagine that a lot of the joys of pregnancy could be utterly ruined by the paparazzi. Living with the constant pregnancy rumors is annoying enough. It?s worse once you actually get pregnant and have to read all the commentary on your ?bump watch.? I can?t explain why, but the whole ?bump? thing annoys the crap out of me. I find it incredibly creepy. Being a pregnant celeb means everyone is chatting about your body and feels free to chime in about it. Whether you?re too big or too small, everyone?s got an opinion.
Actress Isla Fisher pointed out how unfair and upsetting this “body fascism” is.
Isla Fisher says she was stunned someone had said she packed on too many pounds when she was expecting.
“When I was pregnant, I remember someone wrote on a blog that I had gained too much weight,” she recalls in December’s Australian issue of FHM (via London’s Daily Mail). “I remember being really shocked that even during something as incredible and beautiful as pregnancy, you are still subject to body fascism.”
How did the 32-year-old actress — who welcomed daughter Olive with Sacha Baron Cohen in 2007 — shed the 55 lbs. she gained while pregnant? Not by going to the gym!
“I have never been a big fan of working out and I’ve never been a sporty person - I was always more of a book worm,” says the actress, who headlines the 2009 comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic.
“I know it sounds like a cliche, but I’ve been blessed with good genes,” she adds. “My mum is little, and I’m fortunate that I don’t like eating junk food. I just don’t like the taste of it.”
[From Us Weekly]
Carnie Wilson has also gotten a lot of heat for her pregnancy weight gain. She was featured in OK! on October 28th as a weight loss success story. A little over a month later she has put on a ton of weight and looks nothing like her former shape. But she?s freaking pregnant! It?s probably safe to assume that the OK! photoshoot took place a couple weeks before the pictures were published. And frankly, if nothing else, she doesn?t owe anyone an explanation for her weight. Everyone?s body does different things when they?re pregnant. Some women look like the baby is bigger than they are, whereas others have tiny little bumps. It?s just the way it is.
I?d seriously suggest that all pregnant celebrities stay away from the tabloids (and the internet) until well after they give birth.

Isla Fisherlooks hot in FHM magazine! And part ofher that hotness is still due to my obsession about the character sheplayed in Wedding Crashers. Isla looked hot and was such a freak in that movie, part of me hopes and dreams that she is exactly like that in real life. Is she a freak, probably. Will I ever experience that, unlikely. ButI know for sure that Isla Fisher is hot and inFHM! Another great Australian babe… this moving down under thing is sounding better and better every day.

Ever the cool mother/daughter duo, “Wedding Crashers” actress Isla Fisher and her 1-year-old daughter Olive Cohen showed off their shady look at LAX airport on Thursday (December 5).
Shielded by an umbrella on their way into the terminal entrance, Miss Fisher and her 13-month-old made their way past lined up paparazzi and towards security to catch a flight out of town.

Turns out Mrs. Borat aka Isla Fisher aka my wet dream is in the December issue of the Australian FHM. Here she is being modely, cleavagey and probably other words that you can make up by adding the letter “y” to.
Not many people know this but Isla and I dated for a while. She didn’t know of course. One day she might though because as they say, distance, about 500 court ordered yards worth, makes the heart grow fonder.
