This story is kind of funny and kind of weird. Like, it would be fun to laugh at Miranda Kerr for getting pushed out of a lucrative and high profile gig because she does nothing for the brand, but I?m not sure that?s what this is. Us Weekly reports that Miranda has been pushed out of Victoria?s Secret ? she will no longer be an Angel. She?s not being out-right fired, her contract isn?t being renewed this year. So? what?s happening?
This Angel’s getting her wings clipped! Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr will no longer be linked to the sexy lingerie brand, industry insiders tell Us.
According to multiple sources, Kerr, 30, is being let go as a Victoria’s Secret Angel after her $1 million, three-year contract “was not renewed.” The reason for the sudden split? One source tells Us that Kerr “has a difficult reputation.”
The Australian beauty, who is mother to 2-year-old Flynn with husband Orlando Bloom, 36, is also reportedly “not a big seller for VS,” while other Angels, like Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio, are.
“They can still use her for catalogue, where she will get a day rate, but she doesn’t have to be an Angel to do that,” the first source said.
Executives from Victoria’s Secret wouldn’t deny that the contract has not been renewed, but chief marketing officer Ed Razek tells Us that he has already invited Kerr to walk in the 2013 show.
“We have no plans to stop working with her,” he said.

Huh. Does Miranda have a ?difficult reputation? or does Victoria?s Secret just hate that she?s A) not blonde, B) 30 years old, C) a mother, and D) expensive compared to the younger, newer models who will work cheaper? It could be a combination of all of those things, really. It could be all of that plus Miranda doesn?t do much for the brand, although if we?re going to make that argument, I doubt Alessandra Ambrosio does much for the brand. Or Erin Heatherton. Or Lily Aldridge.
Which brings me to my point? I stopped buying lingerie at Victoria?s Secret years ago. I stopped the second I realized that my bust had increased from a D to DD (and even then, I think I?m wearing the wrong cup size) and I realized how difficult it would be to find cute stuff in my size. I?m just putting that out there ? I think Victoria?s Secret is pretty cheesy but I would probably still be buying some stuff from Vicky?s if I thought I could fit in it. If I was a petite woman with B cups? Sure. I would buy from Vicky?s. But it?s absurd to say that women are buying from Vicky?s because Miranda Kerr tells them to, or Lily Aldridge or whatever.

Looking to stay active on her day off, Miranda Kerr treated her son Flynn to a fun-filled outing in Hollywood this morning (April 8).
The Victoria?s Secret stunner held her little guy?s hand as they walked over to a local kids? gym called Romp, and from the excited look on Flynn?s face it seems he?s been there before.
Meanwhile, Miranda recently took her two-year-old son fishing at a local lake, posting pictures from the adventure to her Instagram account.
Kerr captioned, ''Fishing with Flynn! #funfamilyday ... We're going to catch a big one xxx ...We didn't catch a thing but we certainly had fun!?

Miranda Kerr covers the April issue of Vogue Australia, and I?m not wild about the editorial at all. The idea is fine, I guess ? just use one of Australia?s most famous model exports in a minimalist pictorial in which she styled with ?old Hollywood? glamour. But the execution is off, I think? This just reminds me that I don?t really think much of Miranda as a model ? it?s like she thinks her left side is her best side and she refuses to take any photos of her right side. It seems amateurish. My favorite shot is the one where she?s got red lips and she?s wearing the ruby earrings.
There aren?t many interview excerpts so far, but the one quote I?ve seen is? odd. Miranda apparently discusses her habit of posting photos of herself on Instagram and Twitter within the interview, and she claims that she has tons of followers on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram (which is true, she does). She says so many people love her on social media because ?I feel like people really appreciate it when you are authentic.? Er?? I?m guessing that most of her followers are dudes who like the many photos she posts of herself in her underwear?? Maybe? Is that about authenticity or is it about dudes liking to look at a pretty model?
Meanwhile, did you hear that Miranda got into a car crash last week? Her spokesperson said ?She was rear-ended? She is in a lot of pain, but really we are just glad it was not more serious.” Miranda was walking around LA wearing a neck brace and she seemed to be moving stiffly. Poor girl.

Miranda Kerr is currently walking around in a neck brace after a car accident. Her rep says she was rear-ended but she’s totally fine. Mm hmm. A neck brace after she was “rear-ended?” I know a sex accident when I hear one.
The rep went on, “She is in a lot of pain but really, we are just glad that it was not more serious.” No one else was in the car when the accident happened.
Orlando Bloom was obviously very concerned. The first thing he did was ask the doctor,”Give it to me straight. How long before she can, you know…” and then he repeatedly pushed his tongue against his cheek while he pretended to grab a microphone in front of his mouth.

Far be it for me to tell Victoria’s Secret how to run their company, but when you hold a launch for your bra and panties line, wouldn’t it be better if someone modeled them? Call me a pervert, but if I’m buying some bras and panties to make myself feel pretty, I want to know what it looks like on a girl first.

I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, if Victoria’s Secret really wanted to publicize their big launches, they’d get their Angels into the lingerie. Because as good as Miranda Kerr and Behati Prinsloo look here launching the new “Fabulous” collection, it’d be 100 times better in lingerie. But then again, I guess

Looking sophisticated in the Big Apple, Miranda Kerr hit the streets of NYC on Tuesday (February 26).
The Victoria's Secret Angel donned all black in a wool coat, black top, and leather pants with matching heels as she smiled sweetly at photographers.
Tonight, fans will get a chance to get their burning questions about the 29-year-old model during a special Twitter event.
The official Victoria's Secret account tweeted, "live Twitter Q&A w/ @MirandaKerr. Tune in 7 -8PM + tweet using #AskMiranda."
