Miranda Kerr has a new feature in the September issue of Harper?s Bazaar. It?s not a fashion editorial, per se. It?s actually a decent piece of real estate p0rn, with some really fancy photos of Miranda?s Malibu property ? go here to see the photos. Miranda and Orlando Bloom used to have a homebase in New York, but post-divorce, they maintain separate homes in Malibu where it?s easier for them to share custody on a weekly basis. There are plenty of reports that Miranda?s new billionaire fianc Evan Spiegel has basically moved into her relatively modest Malibu home, rather than Miranda moving into his home or Evan buying a new home for the three of them (including Miranda?s son Flynn). Anyway, this is what I found interesting ? Miranda bragging about how Evan upgraded her Malibu property:
Kerr grows her own kale, and Flynn helps her pick strawberries, blueberries, and lemons. She installed an infrared sauna in the one-bedroom guesthouse at the bottom of the hill, which doubles as a meditation room. A small gym in the pool house is stocked with state-of-the-art Pilates equipment. To create a peaceful sanctuary at night, Kerr had an electrician wire the property specifically so she can turn off devices that emit disruptive electromagnetic radiation (as well as the lights and Wi-Fi) with a flick of a switch by her nightstand.
But the most impressive enviro upgrade was a gift from Spiegel, a machine made by Island Sky called the Skywater 300, which draws moisture from the humidity in the air and produces enough water for the entire house, including showers, drinking water, irrigation, and a waterfall that cascades into a koi pond.
“This property was a dust bowl when I bought it,” Kerr says, “and now it’s so green. Obviously I’m aware of the drought problem in California. This system really just pulls water out of the sky. It was a very thoughtful present because he knows how much I love a garden.”

I?ve seen demonstrations of those Skywater machines and they really are incredible. But? do they really generate enough water for the whole house AND the pool AND her waterfall/koi pond? Do you believe that? I do not. I think Miranda is playing a little fast and loose with how much water she?s using just because she wants a waterfall in the middle of a drought. I also think it?s interesting that Evan Spiegel is gifting her that kind of thing. On one side, it is a thoughtful and cool gift. On the other side, he really doesn?t like to buy jewelry for her, huh?

Well, well. It looks like all of those ?sources? were right! Miranda Kerr is officially engaged to billionaire Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel. Miranda is 33, Evan is 26. The age difference is no big deal ? we wouldn?t blink if the ages were reversed ? except that Evan seems a lot younger. He seems like he?s still a frat bro in college. I?ve long suspected that Miranda is useful to Evan for that reason: she legitimizes him (somewhat) as an ?adult,? as a player, as someone who should be taken seriously. As for what he brings to the table for Miranda? well?I mean, I can only guess.
Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel is celebrating his engagement to Miranda Kerr, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal. The supermodel accepted the proposal from the 26-year-old tech superstar, who she has been dating for two years.
‘They are extremely happy,’ a spokesperson for the Snapchat CEO told DailyMail.com exclusively. Miranda started dating Stanford University graduate Evan in June 2015 after meeting at a fashion industry dinner.

Reportedly, Evan was ready to propose months ago but they were just bickering about the prenup. I assume Miranda will have to sign a prenup at some point (if she hasn?t already), but I also suspect that she?s going to get knocked up in a hurry, don?t you?
Miranda confirmed the news? on Instagram and Snapchat (although most people are just talking about the IG). She posted a photo of her ring (below), which is reportedly a 2.5 carat round diamond with two baguette diamonds. Us Weekly spoke to ?jewelry expert Michael O’Connor? who says that ring probably cost something like $55,000. Which is a decent chunk of change for me, but Evan is a BILLIONAIRE. And the general rule is to spend two months? salary. How does one calculate that when one is a billionaire? That O?Connor guy goes on and on about how the ring is understated and beautiful and ?the couple decided on a timeless style that proves they ‘don’t need to try.’? Yes, that?s just what you want your ring to say: ?He didn?t want to try.? I think it looks like He Went To Jared.

Miranda Kerr is hoping to raise awareness about premature births in a new Royal Hospital for Women Foundation campaign.
The model experienced the complications surrounding the issue first hand five years ago when her son Flynn was born premature, and she pledged to do what she could to help other new parents cope with the drama.
Miranda was named the Australian hospital foundation's ambassador last year (15), and announced the news by praising "the work the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers do here" on Instagram.
Announcing the new campaign role, Kerr adds, "I was a premature baby myself and was saved. Join me in saving the lives of newborn babies everyday..." (KG/WNWCTE/KL)

Here is our Open Post for this year?s Grammy Awards, held tonight on CBS at 8 pm EST and likely go on until 11:30 or longer. I always forget that too, that the Grammys are one of those neverending shows. Your Open Post hosts are two couples from Clive Davis?s annual pre-Grammy party (which was held Sunday night). First, we have Miranda Kerr and her billionaire boyfriend Evan Spiegel. I had been saying Miranda looked knocked up last week, but in these photos, she looks like she?s back to her slim self. So? no billionaire-baby YET. The second couple is? Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. Are they back together? Are they still split up but just friendly? I have no idea.
As for the Grammys, my God, this is going to suck so hard. Prepare yourselves. LL Cool J is the MC/host of the night. Taylor Swift is opening the night. Lady Gaga has eight minutes to pay tribute to David Bowie. Ellie Goulding is doing a collaboration (her voice irritates me), Justin Bieber will perform with Diplo and Skrillex. Johnny Depp and the Hollywood Vampires will perform a tribute. I?m looking forward to some stuff though: Adele is performing, as is The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar (not together). The cast of Hamilton will perform. Gary Clarke Jr. is performing Bonnie Raitt and Stapleton, which actually sounds sort of brilliant.
All that being said, it?s going to be a terrible night for fashion, so buckle up and drink something caffeinated, because there are going to be some extreme lulls during this show. "I was 16, and it was really a turning point. I was depressed and went to a few therapists, but then I realized the only person who could help me was myself,? she explained.
Nowadays, Miranda spends her time with boyfriend Evan Spiegel- "He's 25, but he acts like he's 50. He's not out partying. He goes to work in Venice [Beach]. He comes home. We don't go out. We'd rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early. [But] in some ways he does [feel like a younger man]. I'm telling you, I've got the best of both worlds..."

Model Miranda Kerr will be getting her hands dirty by helping with the Christmas cooking with her family in New South Wales, Australia.
Although the star lives in New York, she has returned to the town of Gunnedah, where she grew up, with her son by ex-husband Orlando Bloom, four-year-old Flynn.
Miranda revealed that she'll be joining members of the Kerr clan in the kitchen on the big day and will enjoy spending time whipping up a Christmas feast with her relations.
"For me it's really important to be with my family this time of year, so we're going to Australia to stay with my grandparents and my extended family," Miranda tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.
"We all get together and we all cook together, there's no pressure on one person to do it all. Christmas is just about spending time with each other and appreciating those bonds."
In a separate interview with Daily Mail Australia, the beauty reveals she hopes her attempts at cooking are more successful than the last time she entered the Christmas kitchen.
"Last time I made gluten free cookies, it didn't turn out the way I (wanted), my son was like, "Mum, you really made this?'," she said. "Seeing Flynn's face was really, one of those moments that I'll never forget. Can't get it right all the time!"
Even if Flynn is left disappointed by his mother's culinary skills, the star thinks he'll have a great time playing with his grandmother.
"Watching my son with my grandma is just priceless," she tells the publication.
"It's incredible to see them together because they're both very cheeky and they both feed off each other (and) that kind of energy. She likes playing with him and running around the house and playing hide and seek."
