A lot of you disagreed with me (vehemently) about how great Jennifer Aniston looked several nights ago at the Elle Magazine ?Women In Hollywood? event. She wore this great silver-grey Kaufmanfranco dress that I STILL love, so eat it. I rarely get gushy about what Aniston wears, but I really did love this dress. However, I failed to mention why Aniston was there - she was being honored with some kind of award, and Reese Witherspoon was the one to ?honor? her (photos of Aniston & Reese here). Reese got extremely gushy, and some parts of her speech were kind of uncomfortable:
?You just want to get your nails done with her, and you want to make out with her at the same time . . . at least I do! First we get our nails done, then we make out! It’s totally awesome. That’s because she’s MY friend, not yours!? Reese said.
She revealed how she first bonded with Jen, 42, when she made a guest appearance in Friends as her on-screen little sister back in 1999.
?I just had a baby [daughter Ava, now 12] and I could not stop watching Friends. I was super duper excited y’all! In all my enthusiasm, I completely forgot something crucial…I had never been on television in front of a live audience ever in my entire life. And I panicked! I totally froze! I couldn’t remember my lines and the writers were yelling … I just stood there absolutely completely frozen. Then Jen came to the rescue, asking ‘Hey, are you okay? You’re kind of freaking me out!’ [She said], ‘You’re going to make a mistake and you’re going to flip your line and whatever - and the audience is going to love it. Don’t try to be perfect, just try to be yourself’. That’s the story that sort of captured Jen the best for me. On one hand, she is this gorgeous breathtaking beauty that men lose their thought process and their speech patterns [over]. And, on the other hand, she is a woman who lets you in.?

So on a night about women getting empowered in Hollywood, Reese Witherspoon makes a ?joke? about being a lesbian with Jennifer Aniston. Because that?s so hilarious. Also, Aniston?s acting advice is ?Don’t try to be perfect, just try to be yourself?? That speaks volumes.

Jennifer Aniston has attempted to shed her squeaky clean image by insisting she has a crude sense of humour and likes to swear regularly. The Hollywood actress, currently dating screenwriter Justin Theroux, told OK Magazine she’s not as well behaved as people make out.
The former ‘Friends’ star explained, “I’m not rude in front of people that I don’t know, but I tell a dirty joke now and then - I’m not squeaky clean”.
The actress also discussed her penchant for swearing, saying, “I would have to say f*ck is my favourite curse word. That’s a pretty good word”.
The actress, now 42, says she’s happier than ever and is learning to accept herself after a string of failed romances with the likes of Vince Vaughn and John Mayer saying, “I think getting older you get more comfortable in your body, in your skin, who you are. And you feel you have more of a ?f*ck it? attitude. I’ve learnt that none of it really matters as long as you’re enjoying yourself and having a really good time”.

I don?t believe Aniston is squeaky clean. I believe she can tell a dirty joke and get hammered and smoke a bong and do some lines and that most of the time, she just cares about getting a refill and getting laid. It?s her fan base that thinks she?s the virginal good-girl who only wants true love and babies. It?s interesting that she?s trying to shake that image, right?

For the most part, when everyone is going on and on about how great Jennifer Aniston looks, I truly feel a sense of mystery. Sure, she has a great figure, and her commitment to blowouts and blonde highlights are legendary. But her style can be hit-or-miss, and the combination of everything she puts together usually gives me a big ?meh?. Now, all that being said, I LOVE the way she looked at last night?s Elle Magazine event. As you remember, Aniston was selected as the cover girl for their ?Women In Hollywood? issue, and so she was one of the biggest names at the event.
Aniston selected this metallic gray Kaufmanfranco mini-dress which looks absolutely stunning on her. I?ve always said that she should try bolder colors, but now I?m saying that she should definitely wear more metallics and grays. I?m not even put off by the ?look at my boobs? vibe of the dress - in fact, I rather like it. If you?re going to do a deep-V-neck, this is one of the best ways to do it - covered arms, a skirt the perfect length, and then hit ?em with the cleavage. Basically, I would love to own this dress. It?s beautiful and sexy and perfect for her. And don?t even start with the pregnancy rumors, either. Those are her normal boobs. They are not pregnant-boobs. Basically, this is the best she?s looked in MONTHS.
Guess who else was at the Elle event? Chelsea Handler, Jennifer?s BFF. Chelsea is a ?woman in Hollywood? now, because she?s an ?actress? now! Chelsea looks okay (for her). The skirt doesn?t fit her, but the colors are pretty. And her face looks less busted too. Well done, Chelsea.

Joining the long list of A-list attendees, Jennifer Aniston and beau Justin Theroux stepped out for the American Cinematheque Awards, honoring Robert Downey Jr last night (October 14).
Known for her fashion know-how, the former "Friends" beauty shined as she took to the stage to speak about her fellow Hollywood heavyweight, sporting a black, beaded floor-length gown for the evening's event.
Additionally, a gaggle of other Tinseltowners joined in on the festivities, including a rarely-seen Mel Gibson, funnyman Jack Black and the always-elegant Jodie Foster.
Downey's prize leaves him in good company, as previous recipients of the valued award have been bestowed upon Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and George Clooney.

Last week, we covered the first excerpts from Jennifer Aniston?s Elle Magazine cover profile. It wasn?t a traditional cover story, though - Aniston was chosen as the cover girl for the ?Women In Hollywood? issue, which? I disagree with. I disagree with using Aniston as the de facto poster girl for a successful women in Hollywood. It’s not that she?s NOT successful in a financial sense (she is), and she?s definitely one of the few women who producers consider ?able to open? (although she has difficulties opening without a strong male lead). But in a magazine issue where you?re trying to celebrate the achievements of interesting, diverse, talented ladies, I just think there are much better potential cover girls to choose from. Think of the ladies who have turned in stunning, award-winning work this year. Kate Winslet. Mia Wasikowska. Viola Davis. Evan Rachel Wood. Claire Danes. But I digress?
So, Aniston and the excerpts. Everyone paid attention to her comments on babies - ?There?s no desperation. If it?s meant to be, it?s meant to be. I?m at peace with whatever the plan is. But will you hate me if I say I don?t want to talk about my relationship?? But there are more gems in the print interview:
On the Horrible Bosses script and typecasting: ?My jaw dropped. I thought ?Wow. What took so long?? I?ve been categorized as that rom-com girl-next-door thing. But we?re actors. If given the chance, we can pull some other stuff off.?
On the tabloids: ?I remember being on the cover of Us Weekly - willingly! Not with my head stuck next to somebody else?s going, Jen Versus so-and-so! Rage! Scandal! Bullsh-t!?
Advice to her younger self: ?Stop taking everything so seriously. Stop being so sensitive. [That changed for me] probably about six, seven years ago. It?s the moment you come from the ashes and go, This is nothing.?
On The Break-up: ?It was summer in Chicago - happy, happy times. I look at this picture and think of marriage. How many times have you been in a relationship when nobody is budging??
On her most surreal Hollywood moment: ?I?ve had many. I?ve been lucky. But I would have to say it was meeting Sophia Loren backstage at the Oscars. That was a pretty good one. I was like Cindy Brady in that Brad Bunch episode where she was on the game show and she just stared at that red light.?
Was there a role she fought for but didn?t win? ?I?ve lost all the battles that I fought for.?
Did she have regrets when she saw someone else in the role? ?No, I sat there and went, ?That actually was better that way.??
On a time when she stood up to a male director: ?I threw a chair at a director. It wasn?t my proudest moment. He was treating a script supervisor horribly? When the director walked in, I threw a chair at him. I missed, of course. I was like, ‘You can?t speak to people like that.’ I can?t tolerate it.?

I found her comments about Horrible Bosses interesting - ?I?ve been categorized as that rom-com girl-next-door thing. But we?re actors. If given the chance, we can pull some other stuff off.? That?s always the hit against Aniston, that she rarely breaks out of the rom-com mold. On this, I?ll defend her slightly: Audiences tend to actively dislike films where she tries to do something different. Remember that one she did with Clive Owen, where she was, like, the femme fatale? Hardly anyone bought it. But Horrible Bosses did okay, and maybe she?ll be doing more of that.
Oh, by the way - she?s not pregnant. Us Weekly had a story yesterday about Aniston and Theroux partying with the SNL cast over the weekend, and they said that Jennifer was drinking Grey Goose. So? she?s still getting her drink on, and there?s no BABY. You can read the piece here - there?s a mention of how ?cute? she and Justin are together, and how he?s a ?complete gentleman?. Because those are the new keywords that her publicist drops into every report these days.

Mimicking each others style for a midday meeting, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were spotted leaving a New York City office building this afternoon (October 10).
Both sporting a trendy fedora and dark sunglasses, the seemingly inseparable pair quickly made their exit before rushing into an awaiting limousine.
Meanwhile, Jen is gearing up for the debut of her Lifetime movie "Five," a premiere she's been anxiously waiting on for weeks, telling press, ?I just can?t wait for people to see it. Making a film that?s special is wonderful, but when it?s actually dealing with a cause and dealing with something that attention needs to be paid to, that?s just something that fills you in such a way that it?s indescribable.?
For her part, Aniston's short depicts the life of an oncologist who dedicates her life to fighting Breast ancer after she is diagnosed with the disease years earlier.
?I just loved the idea of this woman being told that she has a death sentence and she finally decides to start living her life because she?s been given a death sentence, and then she?s given another chance. The theme of it just really spoke to me, about living in the moment and just being aware," the former "Friends" star explained. "Five" debuts on Lifetime later tonight (October 10) at 9 p.m. ET.

Jennifer Aniston tells Elle about one time on set when she stood up for a script supervisor by throwing a chair at the director.
“I threw a chair at a director. It wasn’t my proudest moment,” she tells the magazine “He was treating a script supervisor horribly… When the director walked in, I threw a chair at him. I missed, of course. I was like, ‘You can’t speak to people like that.’ I can’t tolerate it.”
She didn’t give any indication as to who the director was, and given her long career, it’s hard to make a guess. Though no one would be too upset if it was Andy Tennant, her director on “The Bounty Hunter.” HuffPo
Unlike what your mom and society has taught you, violence is the answer. If you don’t like how your boss treats one of your peers, throw a chair at him. Make sure it’s heavy too to really drive the point across. It worked for Jennifer Aniston, why wouldn’t it for you? Survival of the fittest chair-dodgers my dad used to always say.

Stepping out for hosting duties, executive producer and director Jennifer Aniston attended the red carpet screening of her Lifetime movie "Five" in Washington, D.C. on Monday night (October 3).
Held throughout the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, the former "Friends" star was joined in her efforts by Nancy Pelosi and VP Joe Biden's wife, Jill, who both took front and center to speak at the evening's event.
Earlier in the day, Jennifer linked up with Jill, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius and producer Kristin Hahn to tour Washington D.C.'s Inova Alexandria Hospital at Mark Center in effort to bring focus to Breast Cancer Awareness.
While there, the trio of powerful women paid a visit to the medical complex's Breast Care Center, where they listened to heartfelt survivors stories of diagnosis, treatment and the will to keep fighting.

Getting involved in this month's Breast Cancer Awareness focus, Jennifer Aniston toured the Inova Alexandria Hospital at Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia on Monday (October 3).
The former "Friends" actress joined Jill Biden, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius and producer Kristin Hahn during the visit to the medical complex's Breast Care Center.
The hospital visit comes as VP Joe Biden's wife, Jill, is scheduled to speak later in the evening at a screening of the Lifetime original production "Five" - a special in which Miss Aniston directed one of the five short films comprising the offering.
"Five" details the impact of breast cancer on people?s lives - with the debut air date set for October 10th.
