One of my favorite things in the world is a Jennifer Aniston fluff piece. Sometimes a media outlet will just make something up, or just fluff up a simple story about ?Jennifer Aniston doing X with Y? for four paragraphs. I also think the fluff pieces are important ? they reveal the priorities of Jennifer?s team. Jennifer?s publicist still hasn?t confirmed or denied on the record many of the brutal stories about the uncool Bermuda Triangle, but her publicist will greenlight People Magazine?s totally EPIC story about what Jennifer is eating while she films a movie in Connecticut. I guess it?s noteworthy because A) Jennifer still drinks like a fish, which means she isn?t pregnant and B) It?s nice to know that Jennifer is branching out beyond her normal comfort zone of Cobb salads and straight vodka with a SmartWater chaser (I?m assuming). Behold, Jennifer Aniston The Foodie!!
Jennifer Aniston has gotten quite a taste of Connecticut. In town for the month, shooting her latest film on a Stamford set, the actress, 44, has managed to please her palate by visiting a number of popular local restaurants.
On Feb. 2, Aniston had an array of delectable items at eleven14 Kitchen, an American restaurant at J House Greenwich hotel. According to the restaurant, as an appetizer, the star enjoyed the organic green salad with pumpkin seeds and fennel pollen in red wine vinaigrette. For an entre, she chose the grilled Amish chicken with pearl onions, fingerling potatoes and mushrooms. For dessert, she indulged in almond dacquoise and chocolate mousse topped with gold leaf.
Sipping on gin and tonic, Aniston dressed casually in black jeans and a black and white print button-down shirt.
Valentine’s Day was ever so sweet for the starlet, whose fianc, Justin Theroux, provided her preferred meal from one of her favorite eateries in the area, Greenwich’s Terra Ristorante Italiano. Aniston’s order consisted of a tre color salad (baby salad, arugula, radicchio, shaved Parmesan and balsamic-lemon vinaigrette) and Parmesan-crusted filet of sole.
“The kitchen was closed, and we made it special for them,” the restaurant’s assistant manager Jean Maxine De Givenchy told PEOPLE.
Then a few days later, on Feb. 17, Aniston and Theroux, 41, headed back to New York and finally found some time to relax. In Greenwich Village, the couple and three pals dined at Il Cantinori, where they seemed “very happy, very casual, [and] relaxed [with] lots of laughing,” according to Tayma Gandur, who dined two tables away from the group.
“[It was a] calm, chatty night out with friends,” Gandur says, adding that Aniston seemed very happy and content. There was no PDA, but the engaged pair snuggled and sipped on white wine.
Also during her time in town, Aniston popped into L’Escale, the restaurant attached to the Delamar Greenwich Harbor hotel.
“She was having a cocktail,” De Givenchy, who happened to run into Aniston at the spot, says. “I was surprised because she drank vodka on the rocks with a squeeze of fresh lemon [when she dined at Terra Ristorante Italiano]. At L’Escale, too, she was drinking the same thing. She was very happy, and she had some friends with her [and some people from the movie]. I [heard] her saying, ‘Drink up girl, have fun!’”

The common themes of Jennifer?s diet are alcohol and salads, but trust me, she has branched out from the days where she would eat the same Cobb salad for lunch every single day. Now she mixes it up with house salads and fish and (gasp!) potatoes. As for alcohol? we?ve got gin and tonics, Vodka on the rocks with a lemon twist, and lots of white wine. THAT is why she works out so much ? because so many of the calories she consumes are empty liquor calories.

People Magazine has a new video interview with Jennifer Aniston’s longterm hairstylist, Chris McMillan, discussing her Oscar styling and his other favorite hair looks. It’s telling to me for a couple of reasons. One is that McMillan explains Aniston’s very staid, very consistent Oscar night styling as her own choice. He’s nice about it, but makes it clear that’s what she wanted. He says “She wanted to keep the makeup natural and the hair natural. I think it?s about, at this point, being really comfortable on the red carpet.” Of course it was Aniston’s preference, but it’s still interesting for me to hear it straight from her hairstylist.
The other thing is that McMillan absolutely gushes about how great the short edgy pixie cuts look on female celebrities like Charlize Theron and Anne Hathaway. He says those women had the best looks of the night “except for of course besides Jennifer Aniston always.” He explains that “short hair incorporates amazing on the red carpet” and adds “their hair looked really modern and simple and chic.”
He calls Michelle Williams “my girl,” and in the video he’s working on a lovely model with a short cut similar to Michelle’s current style. He calls Michelle “the representation of short hair last year” adding that there’s “Nothing chicer [than short hair], it’s fashion. It’s true fashion. My inspiration for short hair has always been anywhere from Twiggy to Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s baby.”
McMillan than goes on to style the model’s hair with some product and she ends up with a look similar to Miley Cyrus. He ends the video with the sentiment “there’s a short haircut for everybody.”
My question is – is this his way of deflecting blame for Aniston’s same old same old Oscar look and explaining that it wasn’t his decision? He loves short hair and thinks it’s amazing, but she wanted to be natural and comfortable.
Remember when Aniston got an updated hairstyle a couple of years ago, which she sported during her promotional duties for Just Go with It? Back then McMillian described it as a “hairline bob” and it was a kind of edgy angled bob that he said was inspired by Julie Christie. That didn’t last long at all, Aniston was rumored to hate it, and she grew it out and put extensions in to get back to her regular length. So at some point McMillan probably stopped trying to convince her to change it.
I have long hair about Aniston’s length and I’m attached to it so I get why she didn’t like it short, but I also mix up the style and will curl it, straightiron it or wear it up. I would be kind of mortified to show up at the Oscars with my “everyday” hair and makeup, is what I’m saying, since I see it as a missed opportunity. As someone who’s into hair and makeup, that’s the impression I got of Aniston’s Oscar look, and that’s basically what the commentators on E! were saying about it too.
Her styling reminds me of Duchess Kate insisting on doing her own makeup before her wedding. It’s a huge day in your life, a day when a change in makeup and hair is definitely in order for the occasion. If you’re scared about it do a trial run, but don’t just stay with the familiar because you know it looks good. So do other looks!
This haircut was cute and flattering but it didn’t last for long.

First comes love, then comes marriage ? and that may be it for Jennifer Aniston, 44, and Justin Theroux, 41! The happy couple has finally set a date for their intimate wedding, but they feel that their love and their lives together is enough that kids may not even be in the cards.
Pregnancy reports have been swirling around Jen since she was married to Brad Pitt (with whom she was married from 2000 to 2005), but the actress and Aveeno spokesperson may not ever add ?mommy? to her long resume.
?Jen never thought that kids automatically mean a happy life,? a source close to the Horrible Bosses actress tells People magazine. ?She?s always said that he would love to have a baby, especially since Justin came into her life, but she won?t be upset or disappointed if it doesn?t happen.?
?She loves life with Justin as it is,? the source adds.
The source tells People Jennifer is ?crazy about Justin and can?t wait to be his wife.?
Jen, 44, and Justin, 41, allegedly have a wedding date set for soon after the former Friends star wraps her current film in Connecticut on March 8. They?ve designed their own wedding bands and Jen has a dress in mind!
?It will be a small affair with their closest friends,? a source close to Jennifer tells PEOPLE. Miranda Kerr, who is friendly with the couple, tells us exclusively that they?re so ?in love.?

Once known as Jennifer Pitt, as she was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, America?s sweetheart plans to secretly take Justin?s last name. ?She plans on privately changing her name to Theroux. She like the way it sounds and jokes that [Jennifer Theroux] sounds very posh. They really seem to have perfect chemistry, like they complete each other. There?s a perfect balance. He was doting when she turned to him [at the Oscars], but the overall vibe was simply fun and effortless,? the source says.
Jen and Justin got engaged on the actor?s birthday last August. Their life has included cozy parties and getaways in Mexico. Before Justin came along, ?Jen was always very grateful for everything that she had. But now life could not be better. And she deserves all the happiness in the world,? the source concludes.

That was a lot to take in one little article, right? So Jennifer is NOW playing the ?I don?t need a baby, y?all? thing? Fascinating. I wonder? I wonder if this is going to be a repeat of Brad and Jen? As in, I wonder if Justin actually wants to become a father and Jennifer is still playing the ?if it happens, it happens? game. As for Jennifer changing her name? I?m fine with it. Some women just like to change their names and some don?t. It?s no big deal, although I think it?s funny that Jennifer wants to change her name because she thinks ?Jennifer Theroux? sounds ?posh???? Also ? ?she deserves all the happiness in the world?!!! Shock of shocks, Jennifer Aniston and her wedding plans got the cover of this week?s People Magazine. You?d think that People would have simply devoted their cover story to the post-Oscar coverage, but the Oscars were pushed to the sidebar so that Jennifer could enjoy her moment. I should have known that Jennifer and Justin Theroux?s Oscar red carpet extravaganza was part of a larger plan to make ?JustJen?s Wedding? a much bigger thing.
She conquered the Oscars, and now Jennifer Aniston is preparing for another very big day.
The actress, 44, is in the process of planning her wedding to screenwriter-actor Justin Theroux, 41 ? and she has already checked off some major tasks on her to-do list, including choosing wedding bands, setting a date and narrowing down dresses.
Just don’t expect the wedding, which is likely to take place soon after Aniston wraps her current film in Connecticut on March 8, to be a lavish production.
“It will be a small affair with their closest friends,” a source close to Aniston tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story.
In the meantime, the bride-to-be is enjoying life with her future groom.
“Jen seems more confident than ever,” says the source, “and they’ve become a great team.”

Wait, what? So, her film finishes on March 8 or that?s the date of her wedding? I think that?s when her film wraps, which means that the wedding will be in late March, maybe. It will be interesting to see if Jennifer continues this trend of subtly letting everyone know her super-private business ? like, will we get details about what wedding gown she chooses? Jennifer Aniston has been filming an Elmore Leonard film adaptation for about a month. Word is that Jennifer demanded that the movie change locations from Detroit to Connecticut because she didn?t want to be in Detroit and because she wanted to stay close to Justin Theroux, who has been staying in New York City, I guess. I always find it hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston gets to dictate those kinds of terms ? yes, she?s a self-styled ?America?s Sweetheart? with a dozen interchangeable rom-coms under her belt, but this Elmore Leonard project is an ensemble film in which no actor could or should pull rank. I bring this up because Radar has a story about Jennifer pulling rank all over the place while on set. Hunh.
Jennifer Aniston is an A-list movie star and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that?s exactly what she acts like on set. While in Connecticut filming the Untitled Elmore Leonard Project with other famous faces like Isla Fisher, Tim Robbins and Will Forte, a source close to the set says the former Friends actress doesn?t socialize with any of the cast or crew and purposely keeps herself removed as much as possible.
?Every day at lunch the entire cast and crew head to a cafeteria facility where they all sit down and eat lunch together for well over an hour,? the insider exclusively told RadarOnline.com. ?But the only person who doesn?t eat with everyone else is Jen. She quickly grabs a lunch to go and leaves.?
The source also claims Jen, 44, has fancier transportation than everyone else ? as well as a trailer that is much farther away from the set than anybody else?s.
?All the actors ride in normal production vans when they head to lunch, but Jen has her own luxury SUV,? the source said. ?And not only is Jen?s private trailer miles away from the set, but she heads all the way back there each day to eat her lunch away from everyone else.?
The source concluded by telling RadarOnline.com that Jen isn?t outwardly rude to anyone on set, but that she just acts like a diva and it?s off-putting to those around her.
?Her behavior is a clear indicator to everyone that she?s not approachable,? the source said. ?And it?s just unnecessary. There?s no reason why she has to act any better than anyone else on that movie set.?

Eh. I?m not sure if I believe all of this ? Jennifer is tight with Isla Fisher, and I can?t see Jennifer acting like she was ?above? hanging out with Isla. But maybe she just want people to know that she eats the same chicken salad for lunch every damn day. Also, I could see her with the fancy trailer and making sure that people know she?s THE STAR (of an ensemble). And in case you have your doubts about Jennifer?s diva antics ? go back and watch that Aveeno commercial. She totally made Aveeno call her ?the beautiful Jennifer Aniston?. That?s one of her favorite things in the world, to remind people that she?s ?beautiful?. Her publicist drops that into millions of stories about Jennifer. Imagine that contract ? ?The company must refer to Beautiful Jennifer Aniston as ?Beautiful? at least twice.?

Jennifer Aniston was one of presenters-to-watch before the red carpet even began. Everybody had such high hopes, and then she arrived on the red carpet and everybody was like, ?Oh. Now I remember. She always looks the same.? When she first arrived, I only saw her from the waist up and I thought she looked so much like THIS ? an old Emmys look from, like 1999. Like, I thought she was wearing the same Prada gown that she wore more than a decade ago. But this Valentino was different ? it was a different kind of gown for her. She usually doesn?t do the big, full skirts. But other than that, it was exactly the same. I can?t believe she didn?t change it up AT ALL with her hair or makeup ? there was nothing ?special? about how she styled herself for the Oscars. It was so weird.
Speaking of EXACTLY THE SAME, Justin Theroux put his hand on Jennifer?s stomach and now everyone is like ?OMG PREGNANT?. Decide for yourself. I do like Justin better with a beard ? although it looks like he?s trying to copy Ben Affleck and George Clooney, right? Like, this looks exactly like Ben?s beard.
Also wearing a shade of red (but it looks more coral here)? Kerry Washington in MiuMiu. This was actually one of my favorite looks of the night! Kerry did something to take away those horrible bangs she had throughout the Oscar season (maybe the bangs were detachable?), and her dress moved beautifully. I think she?s gained some weight back after looking too slender as well. All in all, Kerry was one of the best looks of the evening!

People Magazine has a new brief interview with Jennifer Aniston, in which she’s shilling that haircare line she co-owns, Living Proof. Aniston talks about her 44th birthday, which was Monday, as if it’s just another day in her life. Another day which she spends getting paid millions to show up on set and going over renovation plans for her new mansion during her off time. No biggie.
Jennifer Aniston turns 44 on Monday, but don’t expect her to break out the party hats.
“I’ll just be working. I know that I have a 5:30 am pick-up but that’s not bad,” the actress ? who is currently on location for her next film, Untitled Elmore Leonard Project, in Connecticut ? tells PEOPLE. “I’m lucky; I’m very happy to be working!”
“This birthday is going to come and go, which they all seem to be doing these days,” she adds. “Wasn’t it just my birthday? I have like windburn from this year.”
With the production set to last five weeks, Aniston has relocated to the east coast and continues to fulfill her duties as spokesperson/co-owner for Living Proof hair care.
For her role in the film, she opted to wear a shorter, light blonde wig instead of coloring her famed tresses. “It’s so nice to wear a wig. It’s like putting a hat on,” she says. “I’ve been using our conditioners on my hair underneath and it’s great to be able to watch your hair actually grow.”
The actress, who got engaged to screenwriter Justin Theroux last year, says her idea of a perfect birthday “would be a walk in the city, brunch somewhere, see a movie, have a great dinner.”

People promises to have more of the interview in their upcoming issue, but I doubt there will be any groundbreaking quotes. I mean, going by what she usually says. I have to admit that I’m really interested in her wedding plans, though! I want to know if she has a date set and if she’s actively planning for it, or if she’s just kind of waiting to see what happens. Like maybe she’s waiting to see if a certain ex gets married and what his plans are. I’m not saying she’s going to try and pull focus or whatever, I just think she considers what those two are doing publicly when she makes her own plans, if only to ensure that her own wedding won’t be overshadowed. She’s going to want a People cover too if she ever goes through with it, and I guess I don’t blame her.
As for what she says about birthdays, I can totally relate. I’m hitting the big four oh (I don’t even want to type it) this year and I wish I could coast through that entire day without anyone acknowledging it. After about 35 I didn’t want to celebrate any more birthdays.

I?m sorry these pics are kind of crappy ? you can see better photos of Jennifer Aniston?s ?new look? here at LaineyGossip. Jennifer has been photographed the past few days in Greenwich, Connecticut (when I was little, I used to pronounce it ?Green-witch?), where she has begun her new film The Switch. Obviously, the name of the film will be changed ? we already discussed the movie a month ago. It has a good cast ? in addition to Aniston, Mos Def, Tim Robbins, John Hawkes and Isla Fisher are all in it too.
There?s not much to say except Jennifer looks very blonde. Some sites are calling this a wig, but I?m not quite sure. Is it possible that Jennifer actually changed her hair for a film role? That she would go super-blonde? Hm? it probably IS a wig come to think about it. She would never drastically change her hair at this point.

Bundled up against the cold winter weather in a black puffy coat, the actress, who turns 44 on Monday Feb. 11, was photographed on set wearing a bright blonde wig over her world-famous tresses. She topped off the new ‘do with a brown beret.
The engaged star — actor Justin Theroux proposed in August 2012 — is currently working through freezing temperatures in Greenwich, Conn., where the movie is shooting, being directed by Daniel Schetcher. The flick follows two career criminals (played by Mos Def and Will Forte) who team up to kidnap a jilted housewife (Aniston) but find their plans thwarted when her husband refuses to pay the ransom and she asks for their help in seeking revenge. Isla Fisher, Tim Robbins, and John Hawkes also star.
The Connecticut set is a far cry from Cabo San Lucas, where the actress and her fiance recently enjoyed a romantic getaway together. (Pals Jimmy Kimmel, Molly McNearney, John Krasinski, and Emily Blunt also joined the holiday vacation.)
“Every day they followed the same routine, with a workout in the morning with Pilates and yoga, followed by tanning time all afternoon,” a source told Us of the couple’s warm-weather trip. “All Jennifer wanted was to work out, tan, have margaritas, and be with her man.”

I feel like it?s been a while since we?ve seen a good, gossip-y photo-op from them. Which obviously means she?s pregnant, right?

Last June, there were some seemingly legit reports about Jennifer Aniston being offered an 8-figure endorsement deal to become the face of Aveeno. I thought it was a good match at the time, although nothing came of it at the time, and I thought Jennifer seemed to give up that possible deal to associate herself with a line of MIT-invented haircare products. That was last October ? Jennifer got in on the ground floor, and I believe she owns a stake in the company. Well, now Aveeno has come back to Jennifer and it seems like she has signed on to do an Aveeno campaign after all!
Jennifer Aniston takes great care of her skin?and now that loving relationship is paying off.
The oft-glowing actress has signed a deal to be the new face of Aveeno skin care, E! News exclusively confirms.
“We can confirm that Jennifer Aniston will be partnering with Aveeno for skincare,” the superstar’s rep, Stephen Huvane, confirmed to E! News. “You can expect to see the results of this collaboration later this year.”
Whisperings of such a deal first sounded last summer, but Aniston’s work for the brand is just getting under way.
Previous Aveeno spokesmodels have included lovelies like All My Children actress Daniella van Grass, but Aniston would by far be the brand’s most famous face yet.
The former Friends star has also appeared in campaigns for SmartWater, L’Oreal hair care and her own eponymous fragrance.

Well, Jennifer makes mostly smart decisions about her endorsement deals ? that SmartWater deal has been good to her, from what I hear. Although her perfume (?Jennifer Aniston by Jennifer Aniston? ? for real) was a big dud. Honestly, I was completely fine with Aniston?s haircare thing. She?s known for her hair, and I thought the product line sounded really cool, and like an interesting investment/endorsement deal. And while I know Aveeno is known for their ?clean living, clean products? etc and that?s what Jennifer?s image is too, I can?t say that I?m more likely to buy skincare products with her face attached to them. I don?t associate her with good skincare. I associate her with boozing, smoking and tanning.

Ugh! I purposefully avoided writing about Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux yesterday because I find them exhausting. We keep getting new photos of JustJen on a daily basis ? all from Cabo, all taken from a distance, all of the photos taken with JustJen?s tacit approval (in my opinion). I don?t begrudge them a holiday vacation, I don?t begrudge them a few weeks of sun and mojitos, and I don?t even begrudge them their happily pap-friendly policy (I like having new pics!). But I just wish there was something else going on with them these days, like firmed-up wedding plans or something. People Mag (via Hollywood Life) has a new story which I?m sure came straight from Jennifer?s publicist ? I guess this is supposed to whet our appetite for all things JustJen:
Justin Theroux popped the big question to Jennifer Aniston on his birthday last year, August 10, and now the actress is excited about being a bride again and wants to marry Justin soon, according to a new report.
Jennifer wants a ?very small, low-key wedding soon,? a source told People magazine.
The couple spent the holidays lounging poolside in sunny Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where they read books, worked-out and enjoyed relaxing massages.

You can get away with that when you?re 25 years old and newly married, like ?We?re just having fun, if it happens, it happens.? But for a 43-year-old woman to still be playing it by ear like that? It just seems disingenuous. At this point, Jennifer knows whether or not she wants to be a mother, you know? Unless her ?friend? is going to start telling People Magazine whether or not Jennifer is off the Pill or whether she and Justin are doing fertility treatments, it?s just kind of? eh.
