The ?American Idol? judge flashes plenty of cleavage on the cover of Complex magazine, and things only get steamier inside the publication thanks to some amazing snapshots by photographer Steven Gomillion.
Lopez told Complex that she?s tired of being criticized for her sex appeal now that she?s a mother. ?I?m not allowed to be sexy because I?m a mom? It?s like, how do you think I got my children?? Furthermore, ?I feel great about being able to do everything that I did in my 20s better now?That?s what happens as you mature, you get better. You have more experience. And I?m proud of that.?

Meanwhile, J Lo is a favorite to take over for Britney Spears when she abdicates her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood. An insider told press, ?Jennifer Lopez passed the ?Vegas Residency Test? with flying colors on New Year?s Eve, and in the process scored more than $400K. Lopez raked in $410,000 for her NYE performance at Caesars Palace, plus she gets back end. The point of the gig was to see if Lopez was a sufficient draw for a full-on residency.?

I think I saved the most controversial for one of the last fashion posts of the day. Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad. Her hair was big and fluffy. Her gown was the largest on the red carpet. Her boobs were hanging out. The slit was cut to her biscuit. There was some kind of built-in cape/sleeve drama. She was dripping in diamonds. And you know what? I kind of loved it. I loved how EXTRA she was. I love that she wanted to have fun. I love that she came with her costar as her date (Ryan Guzman). I love that Jennifer never thinks ?less is more.? Nope. More is always more. And J.Lo always does more.
I?m sorry, but Kerry Washington was such a disappointment. I think she lost her fashion mojo when she wore Marchesa a few years ago and she?s never gotten it back. This shiny Mary Katrantzou was too stiff and weird. The skirt was bad. The colorblocking (or whatever that is) is terrible.
Felicity Jones in Dior. The only other person to wear Dior last night was Amal Clooney. I wonder if there was a mix-up at Dior? Anyway, I didn?t like this on the red carpet, in motion, but in photos? I sort of get it. I think it?s too conservative and stuffy for such a young woman though.

Treating herself to a smashing good time, Jennifer Lopez headed over to the Beverly Hilton Hotel to catch all the action at the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards tonight (January 11).
Always a fan favorite, the ?Wedding Planner? star looked lovely in her designer ensemble while mingling with fellow famous folks in the arrivals area.
With so many amazing accomplishments to celebrate in television and film, it?s really anybody?s guess who will go home with the hardware. The Best Motion Picture- Drama nominees are ?The Theory of Everything,? ?Boyhood,? ?Selma,? ?Foxcatcher? and ?The Imitation Game.?

Jennifer Lopez is all over the place promoting her upcoming film, The Boy Next Door, which is out on January 23. Judging from the cheesy ads I’ve seen, it’s a thriller in which her older sexy character has an affair with a teen neighbor boy who turns obsessive. Also the 15th season of American Idol just premiered on Wednesday. I expect to see Lopez hustling hard in the coming weeks, which she’s always done.
In a new interview with E!, Lopez explains that she didn’t use a body double for the sex scenes and that “It was all me.” She also called those scenes “embarrassing” and “uncomfortable,” but her costar, Ryan Guzman, praised how well she kept him at ease.
Of course Lopez didn’t need a body double at all because she’s got an incredible figure which she surely busts her butt to maintain. So many of us would love to know how she does it. Well now Lopez is capitalizing on that. She’s launched a new “health and fitness program” called Bodylab in which she’s shilling protein shakes and supplements. Their tagline is “Be The Girl of Your Dreams.” Of course she’s couching all of this in empowerment language and she admits that she works hard, but it’s still disappointing to me that she’s doing this. Here’s how she explained it to Good Morning America:
Bodylab is a line of supplements and protein shakes and all kinds of things where you can enhance your workout. You know, you have to work hard. There?s no like, magic pill. I?m very much about women, women empowerment, being the best you. Different things about our metabolism that is totally different from men. A lot of the supplements out there are made for men. We just want to look good. We want to be hot.

After that she drank a protein shake from her new line and claimed it gave her energy. Food will do that for you. Protein shakes are one thing, but I checked out the Body Lab website and they’re selling week long “cleansing” shakes and “fat burning” pills with pseudoscientific claims. Here’s part of the description for “Thermodynamic TotalBurn,” “Total Burn is designed to switch a woman?s body into fat-breakdown mode in order to preferentially burn away her body fat ‘sinks’ and use them for fuel. This helps us lose weight in the form of actual fat mass.” So there’s no, like, magic pill but there is a pill that claims to “preferentially” burn fat and “switch a woman’s body into fat-breakdown mode.” Also, the “7-Day Ultra Fast Slim Kit,” which is the first product on the page incidentally, claims to be “the ultimate way to cleanse and detoxify the female body and kick-start the fat-burning process.” There are asterisks after many of the these claims which lead to a disclaimer that they have “not been evaluated by the FDA.”
This system sounds very similar to Isagenix, a diet shake program that two of my friends have tried with no success. It bothers me that a celebrity is endorsing a diet shake, but of course many other celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow have endorsed cleanses and shakes. Goop just did it with a higher price point.

Always challenging herself to new levels, Jennifer Lopez introduced her latest initiative in Santa Monica on Tuesday (January 6). The ?Waiting For Tonight? songstress was joined by Dr. Amy Heaton and Chantelle Daines as she unveiled BodyLab, a revolutionary health and wellness brand designed by women for women.
Lopez explained, ?I want to inspire women to be the best and happiest versions of themselves,? as the audience looked on.
"I joined the BodyLab family not only because of their commitment to creating great health and fitness products for women, by women, but also because of their approach to the holistic lifestyle. It's not a solution-in-a-bottle. It's not a fad diet. It's part of a health regimen that makes your metabolism work as hard as you do. It?s a way to love your body.?

Jennifer Lopez covers the new issue of Self Magazine and she?s showing off her crazy body. She?s a 45 year old vampire with the abs of a teenage dancer! But I can?t say I?m totally in love with this editorial ? I?ve never really loved it when Jennifer slicks back her hair completely. I love it when she does big, bouncy hair. Just my personal preference. Anyway, J.Lo talks about dating younger men, love addiction and divorce. Some interview highlights:
She?s a dancer: ?I still consider myself a dancer first and foremost. Well, after being a mother, of course.?
She doesn?t want to be called a cougar: “Enough with the clichs about women. We can date younger guys. It’s no big deal. All the old clichs about women need to be undone. Enough already. We’re in the other position now. We are desirable older, we can date younger guys and it’s not this big taboo. Men have been doing this for years, and it’s no big deal.”
She?s trying not to repeat her past love disasters: “When you have that much pain, you have to anesthetize yourself in some ways. People do different things. Some go out and party and sleep around, but that’s just not my way. I found the comfort in someone else. That’s called being a love addict. When I face myself, I go, ‘You have a fear of really being on your own. So you know what? That’s what we’re gonna do right now.’ But it took me years to get there. So first it was learning to love myself. And then it was about facing my fears.”
Playing a character who cheats on her husband with a younger man: “I can relate. I’ve been through divorce. I’ve been cheated on, just like every other girl in the world. So you sympathize, you understand the emotions. And I’ve dated a younger guy once in my life, so I could definitely understand that part, too?the attraction.”
Producing her own movies: “People would have been like, ‘Oh, a female-driven movie. I don’t know if we want to do that.’ But now we can just go do it ourselves. All I have to do is bank on myself, which I’m in the business of doing.”
Her future: “I want to prove to everyone that I can do everything and be a superwoman. But I have to take time for myself.”

I think it?s a good sign that J.Lo has been publicly ?single? for the last half of the year. I mean, I?m sure she still has a relationship with Casper Smart (he hangs around like a fart in a windless day), but she keeps insisting that she?s single, I?m sort of believing that their current relationship is more like friends with benefits. But Jennifer has been going to events by herself or with friends, and it seems like she?s taking a breather from the dating world. Which is good. She IS a love addict and she is terrified of being alone. Maybe if she gives herself some time, her next boyfriend will be someone really hot. Like? David Gandy.
