Here are some catch-up photos from the Golden Globes parties on Sunday night. Can I just say? When the Oscars roll around, I understand why people might want to change out of their Oscar gowns and put on something lighter and more party-ready. I especially understand that for people who are the nominees. What I don?t understand is showing up to the Golden Globes just to present and be a Fashion Girl, then changing into a different frock just for the parties. It seems like a waste of time and effort. But whatever, Jennifer Lopez does it every year. If you remember, I really disliked Jennifer?s mustard Giambattista Valli gown, but I enjoy this Roland Mouret party dress. Surely if she just came to the Globes to present, she could have just worn this, right? This is a fantastic, clean, beautiful gown.
Emilia Clarke in Dolce & Gabbana. Well, it?s better than the goth gown she wore to the Globes. I think I would like this more if the fabric didn?t look dirty. Like, either commit to beige or go with white. This in-between stage looks cheap.
Here?s another example of a party dress being so much more awesome than the red carpet dress, and I?m saying that as someone who enjoyed Laverne Cox?s somewhat matronly Globes look. But this custom Mark Zunino gown is THE BUSINESS.
It looks like the Botox Fairy was working overtime for Globes weekend. Here?s a barely recognizable Kaley Cuoco in red Christian Siriano. She?s trying to do the Jolie Leg of Doom!
Kate Bosworth looks like a creepy doll that came to life in a horror movie. Her look here is Dolce & Gabbana.
Here?s Harvey Weinstein and his wife Georgina Chapman. She?s wearing one of her own Marchesa designs. Do you ever wonder if Harvey thinks her designs are terrible too?
People were debating the level of Taraji P. Henson?s drunkeness at the Globes. I really feel like? by the time she won, most people in the room were half in the bag, so it didn?t really matter. My guess is that she continued to party her ass off at the post-Globes parties too. Taraji changed out of her bridal Stella McCartney gown and into this lingerie-inspired Stella gown. I actually like this one a little bit more? The fit is better.

These are some photos of Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart from October, I just never got around to posting them. Jennifer looks completely different with those glasses, right? Right. Anyway, Casper and J.Lo are still together, much to my dismay. But The Woman Who Is Dumb In Love might be growing up a little bit. Maybe. While I still think J.Lo is an idiot for settling for Casper ? or ?Beau? as she calls him ? she seems to actively avoid the wedding/marriage talk. As in, she doesn?t want to marry him. Maybe she sees him as a placeholder boyfriend until someone better comes along? I don?t know. But I do know that I laughed when she told Ellen DeGeneres what she got Casper for Christmas:
On-again, off-again couple Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are definitely dating, and that’s all there is to it.
“We were down in Miami together for New Years,” Lopez, 46, says in an interview on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Tuesday. “He was working. I didn’t have to work ? I had literally two days off. We were hanging out.”
The singer and actress, whose NBC drama Shades of Blue debuts on Thursday, has been coy about the man in her life, but assures DeGeneres she’s not hiding big plans. After Lopez reveals she gave Smart, 28, a tuxedo for Christmas ? “I’m opening [my concert residency] in Vegas, and I was like, ‘You can wear this on opening night so you look nice,’” she explains ? DeGeneres shares her hilarious theory about the gift.
“Or for the wedding,” the host says. “When is it? Do you know?”
“No ? no wedding,” Lopez replies. “There’s no wedding.”

At this point, I kind of believe her ? or I WANT TO BELIEVE ? about there being ?no wedding.? Please let it be so. Please let Jennifer not need to marry every guy she?s with. As for buying him a tuxedo for Christmas? it?s just funny to me. She?s Pretty Woman-ing him. She buys him clothes and a truck and she styles him like a Ken Doll. That?s what makes her happy ? getting to remake and style some glorified backup dancer she picked up on a music video shoot.

The ?Waiting For Tonight? babe confesses that at 46 years of age, she?s no longer looking to get hitched- ?I need to be happy on my own. If someone fits into that, great. The “Booty” singer, 46, put her cleavage on display in the plunging garment, which featured angular shoulder pads, metallic embroidery, and highlighted her sexy, toned legs. A jeweled belt and fishnet tights added an even more sultry, burlesque vibe to the outfit.
