With a big ensemble cast of Valentine?s Day, you knew there were going to be some fashion hits and misses. What?s kind of surprising to me is how few fashion misses there were - which is probably why the few bad fashion choices stuck out so much. First, let me ask all of you - what do you think is appropriate for a female star to wear to the premiere of an ensemble romantic comedy? My choice would be a cute cocktail dress or just some sort of simple, elegant outfit that didn?t pull too much focus. Much like what Julia Roberts is wearing (above). Simple, pretty black dress that looks great but isn?t screaming ?Look at me, I?m the star of this bitch!?
Then, of course, there?s Jessica Biel. Is Jessica the star? No. She?s a small part of a large ensemble. But you would never know that because she decked herself out in a big, dramatic gown like she?s the only star. She looks like she?s going to the Golden Globes (where she wasn?t invited). Over-dressed much? And the dress is fug, in my opinion.
I didn?t really like Jessica Alba?s dress, but at least it was appropriate for the occasion. She looks young and cute, even though the dress is kind of meh.
Jennifer Garner shows how should dress for the premiere of an ensemble rom-com. Gorgeous cocktail dress, simple hair and makeup, understated yet beautiful.
Ugh. Anne Hathaway needs to fire Rachel Zoe as her stylist, for real. I get that Hathaway?s coloring makes it a little harder to find great clothes that work, but this dress isn?t working for me. It looks cheap, in my opinion, and it?s too short.
Bradley Cooper: Bronzer much? I like that his forehead is a completely different color than his neck.
And then we have two of the men in the film who came with their higher-profile significant others. Eric Dane brought his very pregnant wife Rebecca Gayheart, who looks very cute in my opinion.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher look good. I kind of think Demi is trying to pull focus, but at least she?s not wearing a damn ball gown, you know? I actually love her dress.

Last fall, the rumors grew more and more persistent that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were either already broken up, or well on their way. A flurry of theories about their alleged break up swirled, everything from a JT?s rumored affair with Rihanna, to his indiscriminate cheating, to Jessica?s clingy ways were all discussed. As of late, JT and Biel haven?t seem particularly close, and it seemed like Kate Hudson might make a play for JT. But now reports indicate that JT and Biel are working through their issues, and Biel even came with Justin over the weekend when he received his Hasty Pudding award at Harvard!
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have had a rocky romance the last 4 months, but friends tell Fox 411 that the couple has recommitted to making it work in the new year. It seems despite breakups and disagreements, Justin decided that Jessica is worth the work their relationship will take.
“Things began taking a turn for the worse for Jess and Justin around the MTV Video Music Awards in September. Justin was staying in New York by himself, working a lot and going out with his friends. He and Jess took some time apart through the fall while she was working, but stayed in touch via phone. They visited each other a little bit and Jess missed Justin, but she was willing to give him space. It really worked out because by the time the holidays were coming, Justin was back and focused on Jess!”
The sexy young couple has mended their relationship and started fresh in the new year.
“Justin loves Jessica and he wants to be with her. She makes him happy, they have so much in common and she is a good fit for him. She’s low-key and makes the effort to spend quality time with her family and friends.”
The friend says Justin was wary of commitment and nervous about the long-term expectations with Jessica, but the couple worked it out and are happier together.
“Justin was being preemptive when he considered breaking up - he realizes what it would be like to lose Jessica and he cares about her so much. He wants her in his life and they are in a great new place in their relationship.”
The couple’s friends and family, including his mom, Lynn Harless, are thrilled they worked out their problems.
“Justin’s mom has often commented that she would love to see him and Jess marry and have her grandchildren. Lynn really does like Jess. Their mended relationship is good news.”

I don?t really get why Biel was so determined to stay with JT, honestly. I never get why women are all over him, and though I don?t think much of Biel, I think she could do much, much better. But she wants him, and she?s got him. For now at least. Probably until she finishes her promotional duties for Valentine?s Day. Do you think JT will walk the red carpet with her? I kind of doubt it, but it could happen.
Going back to the Hasty Pudding thing, while JT was being toasted/roasted, the Harvard dudes teased JT with this: ?This year’s Man Of The Year is a triple threat. He sings, he dances and he goes straight to DVD.” They also had dudes dress up as Britney Spears, Madonna, and Chris Kirkpatrick. JT seemed like a good sport though, telling the audience: ?Funny enough, every time I’ve hosted SNL I’ve ended up in drag at least once. I love stuff like this.” Hmm?

Jessica Biel and Jennifer Garner team up in a best friends-y photo shoot for next month’s issue of Marie Claire, and seeing them side by side like this makes you wonder — which one got the better fake lips? (The last two thumbs below are before-and-after pics of both actresses for your reference.) I’ve been looking at them all morning and I still can’t decide. I think the only way to settle this is with science, by which I mean a good ol’ fashioned girl-on-girl kiss-off. You know, to measure, uh, lip density and overall volume and… um, pressure per square inch and then map it on a graph for an accurate and fair comparison. Or we could just go with a full body contact naked oil wrestling match. See, the great thing about science is that it’s pretty impartial.

She’s always up for a good time, and last night (February 3) Jessica Biel dropped by “The Jay Leno Show.”
The “7th Heaven” hottie was in the house to promote her upcoming flick “Valentine’s Day,” set to hit theaters next Friday (February 12).
But things got a little dicey when Mr. Leno decided to turn his program from a talk show into a Fear Factor-esque situation.
Jay did his best Joe Rogan impression and insisted on feeding Ms. Biel a cricket he dipped into a chocolate fountain.

Always up for a good time, Jessica Biel thinks it is important to have lots of “fun” in your relationship - especially if you’re in the spotlight.
The “Valentine’s Day” actress, who is currently with Justin Timberlake, doesn’t want to take a relationship to serious.
“I think it is important to just have fun together,” she says. “Having fun and just being able to laugh and not take it too seriously, that’s the secret to an LA relationship.”
But where Biel wishes she was more entertaining is the acting world. The actress feels she’s “too boring” to be a great actress. “I might just be way too boring to ever be a really great actress,” she said last month.

On the Help for Haiti telethon post, and the SAG wrap-up post, I noted two very interesting little tidbits about Justin Timberlake. First, at the Haiti telethon, he spent a few minutes flirting and acting friendly with his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz, who is currently single. Then at the SAGs, he and Kate Hudson (also single, and rumored to be JT’s ex-lover) seemed very friendly when they were presenting. I mentioned that after those two encounters, Justin?s girlfriend Jessica Biel was probably having an aneurysm. Well, she got fought back with a well-timed photo-op on Sunday night when she and Justin went to the Radiohead concert in LA. To add to the very obvious ?we?re still together, bitches? photo-op, Biel?s publicist also landed a hilarious piece in Us Weekly. LaineyGossip has noted before how obvious Biel?s shenanigans are, but this one seems so transparent, it?s a little embarrassing.
Justin Timberlake wasn’t by Jessica Biel’s side when she reached the tippity-top of Mt Kiliminjaro Jan. 11 — but now that she’s back from Africa and closer to sea level, the couple are enjoying one another’s company again.
On Sunday, the pair co-attended Radiohead’s Haiti benefit concert at the Box at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. “They were definitely couple-y,” an observer at the Box tells UsMagazine.com. “They were sitting close, holding hands, and whispering.” They weren’t the only A-listers enjoying the band: Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard, Kate Hudson, Charlize Theron, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, Daniel Craig, Patricia and Rosanna Arquette, Famke Jansen, Busy Philipps, Flea and No Doubt’s Tony Kanal all attended as well.
Timberlake flew solo the night before at the all-star Hope for Haiti Now telethon, where he had a friendly, no-drama reunion with Cameron Diaz, his girlfriend before Biel.
But at the Radiohead show, he and Biel “were walking around taking pictures together and never really left each other’s sides the whole night.”
The sometimes reclusive pair “were low key but very cordial,” a concertgoer says. “[They] didn’t mind talking to people that came up to them.”
Biel, who has said Timberlake is “the most precious thing in my life” appeared transfixed by her man. “Justin was holding court and Jessica was laughing at everything he said,” says the eyewitness. “She was always gazing at him.”

Doing their part to support the rescue efforts in Haiti, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were spotted attending a Radiohead concert to benefit the earthquake-shaken nation.
The “SexyBack” singer and his “7th Heaven” hottie both looked to be in a hurry as they pushed past the paparazzi and headed home.
On Friday (January 22) Justin participated in the Hope for Haiti telethon by performing his own version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallalujah.”
Joining Timberlake was up-and-coming singer Matt Morris, a past friend from Justin’s “Mickey Mouse Club” days and a new artist on Timberlake’s record label.

Jessica Biel is the cover girl for the February issue of Vogue Magazine, and while I think the cover shot is lovely, the other photos inside the magazine are? not good. Like, how would you style Jessica Biel if you got the chance? I would keep her makeup very simple and light, and put her in softer, feminine clothes that would give her a chance to look less masculine. But Vogue slapped on some two dark lipstick and tried to make her look tomboy-ish in some of these photos, which isn?t such a stretch. It?s so much of a ?not a stretch? I was looking for Biel?s Adam?s apple. The other word that keeps bouncing around my head is “horsey”. Jessica comes across as very horsey, like Julia Roberts or Sarah Jessica Parker, but not in a good way. Anyway, the Vogue slideshow is here, and the full Vogue interview is here. Now, for some of the highlights:
On her parents: “They are major outdoor people,” she says. “They rafted the Grand Canyon when they were in their 20s. They are an incredible couple.” Her father, Jon, worked for GE for many years and ran his own business consultancy in Boulder. “He is extremely motivated and ambitious,” she says. “I get those qualities from him.”
About her posing half-naked on Gear to get out of her Seventh Heaven contract: “I really wanted to go to college, and it all kind of happened at the same time. I did this photo shoot; the photo shoot came out; it was terribly embarrassing. I had to apologize to everybody, including my parents. It was a big learning experience: learning how to have boundaries and how to say no.”
Her empathy for young girls: “I have this overwhelming motherly feeling toward them. Just do what you gotta do, girls! Hold it together! I wish everyone would just leave them alone.”
Her Hollywood complaints: “The last year in this business has been harsh,” says Biel. “There’s no material. Nobody wants to make dramas. And that’s what we all want to do.” What is getting produced, she says, are “commercial movies?horror movies, big romantic comedies, and action movies. Those can be great, but you don’t want to do only those kinds of films. You can’t live on clairs alone. You have to have a spinach salad every now and again.”
On her new film Valentine?s Day: “I really get to play crazy,” she says gleefully. “A girl who has hit the wall with wanting to find a man. And I get to do some broad comedy; it’s a little Lucille Ball-esque.”
On her style: “I like really berfeminine, classic-looking things mixed with something rougher around the edges. I’ve been looking at Rihanna a lot, checking her out. She’s got something going on that I am sort of craving a little bit.”
On the breakup rumors between her and Justin Timberlake: “It’s definitely been weird and sort of bizarre to deal with. But you have to have a sense of humor about the whole thing. Honestly, I look at a magazine and they know more than I do.” Last night at dinner I brought it up and was met with steely resolve. “I don’t want to talk about it,” she said. “I don’t feel the need to clear anything up. It’s the most precious thing that I have in my life, and I care about it so much that I don’t care about what anyone says or thinks. I have just not addressed it in any real way, and I’m not going to. It’s mine. And I really like that about it.”

Okay, so the interview wasn?t terrible. It wasn?t like some of Jessica?s infamous interviews, where she waxes rhapsodically about her beauty or tries to put her name together with “Oscar”. But there?s still a whiff of the self-absorbed, delusional girl there too, especially when she won?t stop bitching about how there is ?no material?. Uh, there is material, Jessica, they just aren?t hiring you. Oh, and does anyone else think she was comparing herself to Lucille Ball?
