Jessica Biel covers the April issue of W Magazine. There?s some debate on some of the fashion sites as to why exactly Biel deserved the cover – technically, she?s doing some early promotion for the reboot/remake of Total Recall, which doesn?t come out until August. So what is Biel really promoting? Could it be her engagement to Justin Timberlake? The timing of the cover fits – she gets engaged over Christmas, and her publicist is able to arrange this cover shoot within weeks, which Biel likely did in February. So, basically, Biel is just going to be known as Justin Timberlake?s fiance/wife now. But she doesn?t mention Justin – which makes the short interview super-boring. She?s a tomboy: ?[The first movie I remember seeing was] The Goonies. I never identified with girls, and the cast was all boys. Girls were nervous about going into caves; they were scaredy-cats?and I wasn?t into that at all. I loved the idea of being with a crew and having an adventure. I was really interested in pits full of snakes.?
She had Barbies: ?I did, but it was always, ?Let?s play sex with Barbies!? My Barbies were usually naked. Once, I took their heads off, cut their hair, drew on their short, spiky hair with some markers, then stuck the heads on Christmas lights. Every year, we?d string our tree with those Barbie heads. It looked demonic. My parents were so cool?they saw it as a form of self-expression.?
W Magazine: 7th Heaven was known for its wholesome, all-American, quasi-religious message. The parents were literally and figuratively blond and blue-eyed. It always seemed to me that, physically, you looked like you belonged in another family.
Biel: Looking back I can see that, but at the time I literally didn?t care if I was the wrong race or wrong gender; I wanted that part. I wanted any part. And that show was fun. I was a basketball player who was going through all the stuff that a 14-year-old goes through, which is, as you know, completely psychotic.
She?s physical: ?I?ve always been physical. I have no concept of what life is like without physical activity.?
Fighting with Kate Beckinsale in Total Recall: ?Fun?so fun! Our fight scene isn?t overtly sexy: just two trained fighters who happen to be women kicking the sh-t out of each other. It could be two dudes, but we just happened to have long hair and boobs and?other things [laughs]? Kate and I usually fight men in movies, and when you knock into a man, he doesn?t care. But every two seconds, Kate and I were saying, ?I?m so sorry?are you okay?? We were both so nervous about fighting another woman. Which is strange, because I have no problem fighting with a guy. In truth, I like doing anything that requires breaking a sweat.?
She?s one of the few who cops to living healthy: ?I know. I think I need to destroy my reputation. This whole I?m outdoorsy, I?m really healthy?it?s too squeaky-clean [laughs]. That?s going to be my new thing: Go dark and unhealthy. It?s time to be very, very bad.?

Does anyone else think it?s funny that Biel still gets questions about 7th Heaven? Lots of actresses get their start on TV shows, and lots of actresses outgrow it. Biel is more than a decade removed from 7th Heaven, but it?s still one of the things that most people know about her: she did a churchy TV show and she?s with Justin Timberlake. Here?s a real question: if she was open to it, do you think Jessica Biel would find renewed career success in television? I have my doubts. But it doesn?t matter – I don?t think she would ever go back to TV. She?s hellbent on making this film career work.

Ending her weekend with an evening of sport, Jessica Biel was spotted at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Boston Celtics game in LA last night (March 11).
The ?7th Heaven? hottie made sure everyone around her saw her massive engagement ring given to her by fiance Justin Timberlake.
Jessica fussed with her bangy hairdo throughout the night, giving the paparazzi and fans plenty of looks at the left-hand sparkler everyone has been so eager to see.
This past Thursday, Jessica debuted her ring while having lunch with Timberlake at the Tavern Restaurant in Brentwood, California.

Finally! Us Weekly got their hands on the FIRST photos of Jessica Biel?s engagement ring – you can see it here (you have to scroll down a bit). It?s funny how Us Weekly keeps getting all of the ?breaking news? stories about Jessica Biel, isn?t it? It?s almost like this photo-op was arranged on purpose with an exclusive photo agency so the first pics would be guaranteed to only the biggest media outlets, like Us Weekly and People. Weird. As for the ring? CB and I think it?s kind of fug. It looks like a decent-sized rock, maybe a princess cut, but the setting is just awful. CB called it ?chunky?. I complained about the ?twirls?. I wonder if Justin picked it out, or Jessica chose it for herself? Because I think if Biel was choosing, she would have gotten a simpler, cleaner setting – that seems to be her style.
In other Biel-Timberlake news, The Enquirer reports this week that Jessica is fighting with her future mother-in-law. You knew that was going to happen – JT is a total mama?s boy. I doubt he?s ever stood up to his mom, and he certainly won?t start on behalf of his bride.
Jessica Biel is locking horns with Justin Timberlake?s mom – and neither woman is willing to back down. Jessica has her heart set on a low-key, private affair in the mountains of Colorado where she grew up, while Justin?s mother Lynn Harless wants the pair to splurge on a star-studded extravaganza at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California.
Lynn even reportedly wants the two to sell the rights to their wedding for a flasshy magazine spread!
?Everyone thought Jessica might become a bridezilla, but instead it?s Lynn who?s turning out to be the villain,? a source tells The Enquirer. ?Lynn has become incredibly hands-on and pushy as planning for the wedding gets underway. Because Justin is her only child, she has dreamed of a huge, glitzy affair for him ever since he was born. Lynn also wants everyone to know about the occasion and thinks they should sell the wedding rights in a magazine deal so Justin can share his special day with all of his fans.?
Jessica wants the event to be a smaller affair and closed-off to the public. Jessica feels she and Justin already live in the spotlight, and she wants their wedding day to be intimate and out of the public eye.
?The bottom line is that it?s not about Lynn and what she wants for Justin,? noted the source. ?It?s Jessica?s special day, too.?

As if we needed more awful evidence that this marriage was doomed from the start. Granted, lots of brides fight with their future mother-in-laws. But I do think Justin?s mommy issues will be yet another problem in this completely disastrous union. God, I?m actually starting to feel bad for Biel. And then I remember? this is all she?s got going on right now. This is her career. Being in the tabloids, flashing her engagement ring, these stories – that?s what?s keeping her relevant. Which makes me doubt that she really does want a small, private wedding. Jessica probably wants to sell her wedding photos too – so maybe Justin doesn?t want it?

Finishing up the work week, Jessica Biel was spotted on the set of ?Emmanuel and the Truth About Fishes? this morning (February 3).
The ?7th Heaven? hottie looked beautiful as she chatted on her mobile phone in between takes on location in Los Angeles.
Earlier this week, Jessica attracted plenty of attention in a backless sweater with a sack-style skirt and orange sunglasses as she caught up with her former costar Beverly Mitchell.
And despite claims that she and Justin Timberlake are engaged to be married, Jess still isn?t sporting any engagement bling.

Turning up for a night of A-List celebration, Jessica Biel was on-hand for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night (January 15).
Looking radiant on the red carpet, the "Illusionist" stunned the shutterbugs as she made her flawless entrance into the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Taking her beauty front and center, Miss Biel has joined a long list of Tinseltowners set to present one of the night's big awards.
Adding to the star-studded event, Salma Hayek, Nicole Kidman, Freida Pinto, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ashton Kutcher will also dole out the evening's trophies.
As for the ceremony, Ricky Gervais is the host of the Golden Globe Awards - which air live on NBC beginning at 8PM ET/PT.

Here are some new photos of Jessica Biel at a W Magazine event on Friday. It was a star-studded event, with Charlize Theron, Emma Stone and Benedict Cumberbatch also in attendance. Jessica was kind of the ?star? of the event, though. Isn?t that weird? It was her first public appearance since every media outlet claimed that she and Justin Timberlake had gotten engaged over the holidays. For the occasion, Biel chose this absolutely gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown – this dress hugs her every curve, and I should just say? I have issues with Jessica Biel as a person, as an actress, and as a celebrity but dear God – her body is really hot. Such a great body? such a bland girl. Anyway, as you can imagine, Jessica was flying solo to the event, but she managed to be the talk of all of the outlets because she didn?t choose this occasion to flash her allegedly new engagement ring. Where?s the ring, Biel?
The future Mrs. Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back — and then some! Hitting Friday’s W Magazine Golden Globes bash at the famed Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood — her first red carpet appearance since her top-secret engagement to Timberlake — Jessica Biel proved once and for all why she’s a keeper.
The stunning New Year’s Eve actress, 29, provoked mass chaos on the red carpet in a skin-tight gold dress by Oscar de la Renta, her hair still a dark shade of brown. (The ultra-private actress declined to wear her engagement ring at the party.) Also turning heads at the bash? Elizabeth Olsen, Jessica Chastain, Kirsten Dunst, Charlize Theron, Miranda Kerr and hubby Orlando Bloom, Rachel Zoe, Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer, Liev Schreiber, Camilla Alves (but no Matthew McConnaughey)…and Lindsay Lohan.
With her hubby-to-be Timberlake, 31, nowhere to be found, Biel was sweet and gracious — but nervous — greeting photographers, pals and well-wishers on the red carpet. The star introduced herself to folks as “Jessie,” not Jessica, and gabbed with one pal about her planned dress for Sunday’s Golden Globe awards, even showing pics on her cell phone of the frock.
Biel (who accepted Timberlake’s proposal during a romantic ski vacation in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in late December) even proved to be a good sport — opting to climb six flights of stairs to Chateau’s penthouse after the elevator traffic got backed up.
For his part, Timberlake (with a new full beard) made his first post-engagement appearance last week at CES in Las Vegas for a MySpace TV presentation. The singer-actor has “never been happier” with Biel, an insider told Us Weekly. “He knew it was the right time to propose.”

Justin and ?Jessie? (??) are such a strange couple. I suspect that Jessie Just did this for more attention – drawing out the time frame in which we?ll actually be interested in seeing her ring. Because that?s all she?s got going? Maybe. I hate that people are telling her that all she?s got to offer is being ?Mrs. Timberlake? though. Because I don?t even think she?s got that – I really doubt Justin will ever marry her. Who knows, though. This couple makes no sense.
I?m also including some photos of Emma Stone at this same event, just because she looked like total ass. I?m sure she?s stoned, but this Lanvin dress and the makeup is doing her no favors. It?s a bad day when Emma falls so far and Jessica Biel looks so amazing at the same event.

If you missed this from the morning round-up, let me repeat it. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel might be engaged per Lainey. A tweet from an art gallery in Jackson, Wyoming read, “Word on the street is that Justin Timberlake proposed to Jessica Biel at the Amangani last night…we’re picking out post-engagement presents for them just in case they come in! Trying to play it cool…”
The Amangani is a luxury resort in Wyoming. There’s no confirmation yet so who knows. Maybe Jessica Biel finally convinced Justin to marry her by mercilessly beating him and asking, “Why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself?”

LaineyGossip had this yesterday, and now major celebrity news outlets are running with the story as an unconfirmed rumor. Allegedly, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have gotten engaged while vacationing in Wyoming. They have been staying at a luxury resort, and there?s some gossip on Twitter that Justin proposed to her. Of course, all of this could be a figment of the imagination of Jessica?s publicist.
With their five-year anniversary fast approaching, have Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel decided to take the next step?
The rumor mill is a-churning with rumblings that they recently got engaged at a swanky Wyoming resort, although details are scarce to nonexistent (not to mention Twitter-based) and their reps have yet to comment.
The question-popping whispers come nine months after Justin, 30, and Jessica, 29, announced their split.
Among the alleged reasons for the apparently mutual breakup: his wandering eye, her desire to walk down the aisle, and their feeling that the relationship had run its course.
But the romantic breather lasted only until July, when they were spied bike-riding in Toronto. From there, they quietly picked up where they left off.
“She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life,” Timberlake told the July issue of Vanity Fair. “In my 30 years, she is the most special person, OK?”
Jessica, meanwhile, downplayed a possible knot-tying in the December issue of Elle, saying, “I don’t feel pressured. I was never one of those girls who dreamt of my wedding and my prince charming.”

I don?t think it should count as ?five years together? when they have broken up a few times, for months at a time. How about ?five years of on-and-off BS with lots of infidelities?? That sounds right.
If this is true and Jessica finally got the ring? congratulations? Sure. I wonder what she really thinks that will accomplish, though. Will she get more scripts as an A-lister?s wife? Ask Katie Holmes. As for Justin? ugh. I just think he?s really screwed up about women, and I don?t really understand it at all. Does he really think that his relationship with Jessica is healthy, and she should be his wife? I don?t mean to be the wet blanket, but this whole thing seems like a disaster in the making.

I?m still in love with the darker shade of brown that Jessica Biel has been rocking for months. Honestly, her hair dye is my favorite thing about this extremely bland and aggressively ambitious girl. These are photos from an event last night benefiting ?water.? That?s all. While searching for the name of the event, I found only this – the ?6th Annual Charity Ball benefiting charity: water.? Jessica has done charity work for water charities before, but I seem to remember those charities had jazzier names. ?charity: water? isn?t really eye-catching.
The dude with Jessica in these photos is named Scott Harrison, and I guess he runs ?charity: water.? He?s kind of cute – he looks kind of like Bob Hope squished together with a teddy bear. Considering Jessica thinks Justin Timberlake?s jock is the best she can do, I wouldn?t mind Jessica having a torrid affair with a normal, decent-looking guy like Scott at all.
As for Jessica?s dress – it?s Valentino. And when the flashes hit it, you can see right through the tiered, gauzy skirt, which is super-tacky. But I just don?t like these kinds of over-worked, fussy, lacy dresses on younger girls. I don?t like them on older girls, either, but younger girls are choosing these fussy, old-lady, widow-wear more and more. Jessica looks like she?s draped in a black doily. Bad.
