From my very unofficial survey of Swifties, it seems like there is not a consensus about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce?s portmanteau. Are they Traylor? Tayvis? TayTray? Swelce? You guys need to figure it out y?all insisted on Hiddleswift when, honestly, CB came up with ?Tiddles? and we held the Tiddles line here on this blog. I?m personally leaning more towards Traylor, but I?m sure the Snake Fam is clever enough to come up with something better than ?Taylor and that football guy.? Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce created quite the buzz on Sunday night when they decided to cap off a thrilling game at Arrowhead Stadium with a surprise late-night dinner. The star-studded pairs evening resulted in the shutdown of a popular restaurant as fans and diners gathered for an unexpected encounter with the two celebrities.
Taylor and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end were seen leaving the stadium together, sending fans into a frenzy on social media. The unexpected rendezvous had Swifties and sports enthusiasts alike speculating about the nature of their relationship.
The real surprise, however, awaited fans at Prime Social Rooftop, a trendy restaurant in Kansas City. Patrons who were already dining there on Sunday night found themselves in the midst of an extraordinary encounter.
An eyewitness tells ET, Travis bought out the restaurant for his family and team. Taylor arrived, wearing a denim dress, and was seen snacking, having some cocktails and dancing alongside Travis. The two were very affectionate with one another but kept things fun and lighthearted. Travis teammates also showed up to the after-party, as well as his mom and dad, Donna and Ed. The party lasted until 2 a.m.
A source tells ET, Travis has never shied away from his desire to give dating with Taylor a try, which he even said during a press conference a few months ago after seeing Swift in concert. Travis and Taylor are taking things slowly, and not rushing into anything serious. Both are very career-focused, so the focus is on that for now, but thats not going to stop them from enjoying life when its the right moment.
One diner tells ET, So we went to Prime Social Rooftop for my friends 22nd birthday. They informed us before we left that they had a hard close at 8 p.m. and of course, seeing that Taylor was at the Chiefs game, we were already joking that she was going to be there.
As the clock neared 8 p.m., the restaurant staff approached diners with to-go boxes, informing them that they had to vacate the premises. To compensate for the early closure, the staff graciously offered free drinks at their sister restaurant a few floors down. The restaurant patrons couldnt help but wonder if this unusual situation was for the benefit of Taylor and Travis. When asked about the unexpected turn of events, the restaurant staff maintained a shroud of secrecy, smiling and replying that they cant confirm or deny the reason for the abrupt closure. However, as conversations with the staff continued, it became evident that they were thrilled about the special guests in attendance and even promised to convey greetings to Taylor.

The last part of ET?s exclusive comes from a TikTok of one of the bar patrons who was asked to leave as Taylor and Travis were arriving. Just FYI. I mean, I believe it. I believe that Travis decided to shoot his shot and he?s still reeling because it worked. This has an air of Travis muttering to himself ?don?t fk this up, don?t fk this up.? Dude, it?s not even about you! Taylor is gonna Taylor, either she?ll dip in a month or she?ll stick with you for five years. No in-between.

On Tuesday night, Taylor Swift and Sophie Turner went out together in New York. They never had beef, although I never considered them especially close. Sophie seemed to think Taylor?s history with Joe Jonas was funny more than anything else, and Sophie pursued a sort of celebrity-friendship/alliance with Taylor. Given that Joe Jonas spent a full week trying to smear Sophie for not being a perfect tradwife, it felt like Sophie and Tay?s little dinner was a perfect fk you to Joe from both of them. But what did Sophie and Taylor actually do on their big night out? They went to Via Carota, an Italian restaurant. Then they checked out Temple Bar and did ?caviar bumps.?

A source told us that at Temple Bar, Swift and Turner enjoyed ?martinis with caviar bumps, which they seemed to love.?
?Caviar bumps? ? for those who missed the foodie trend ? consist of fancy caviar that?s luxuriously licked off the back of one?s hand. They reportedly go for $20-a-pop at Temple Bar. The New York Times called it, ?a decadent and naughty way to consume the pricey delicacy at certain restaurants, fashionable bars, art festivals and other showy gatherings.?
Said a spy of Swift and Turner together: ?They were having a fun time,? and added that they ordered the bar?s ?mini martinis.?
Though we?re also told they left with security, and ?didn?t stay long.?
The duo also happened to arrive at Temple Bar ?just as the Internet went out,? and, ?the manager was losing his mind,? an insider told Page Six. The Wi-Fi snafu, however, didn?t put a damper on the evening.

I figured this year?s VMAs would be the same, but MTV somehow got a bunch of big-name people to come out. Of course, I kind of think the only reason Taylor Swift went to the VMAs is because MTV guaranteed that Taylor would sweep, which is what happened she won NINE VMAs this year. For the red carpet, Taylor wore Versace? you guys, this dress is so bad. Like, WTF? Who picked this out for Taylor? And who styled her?

Shakira picked up the MTV Video Vanguard Award, and she wore Versace on the carpet (and on stage). I love how sparkles and metallics are back this year!

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift out in New York on Friday night. She was one again at the Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village. It?s Taylor?s hottest club she?s been recording at that studio for the better part of a year, and she invites her friends to hang out with her there. On Friday, Margaret Qualley, Karen Elson, Cara Delevingne, Sadie Sink, Hayley Williams and several other friends all joined her.
Guess who else was there? Sabrina Carpenter. If you?re in any way familiar with the backstory of Olivia Rodrigo?s first album, Sour, you know that Sabrina Carpenter was ?the other woman? in Olivia?s first relationship. After Taylor and Jack Antonoff sicced their lawyers on Olivia over her song ?deja vu,? Taylor then invited Sabrina to open for her Eras Tour. Taylor and Sabrina are now tight, and Olivia is apparently writing music about how Taylor fking sucks. Behold, Olivia?s ?The Grudge,? which many people believe is about Taylor.
There?s also a lot of discussion about Olivia?s ?lacy,? which is more clearly about a woman a rival, someone who screwed over Olivia professionally and personally?
I have no idea what?s about Taylor and what?s about Sabrina or whether these songs are about someone else entirely. What I do know is that on the same day Olivia?s GUTS album was released, Taylor was in her Bad Blood era with her performative girl squad, which now includes Sabrina Carpenter. Sh-t went down and I?m on Team Rodrigo.

This summer, the economy has been fueled by two women: Barbie and Taylor Swift. Time Magazine did an interesting analysis of why the Eras Tour has been Taylor?s most successful tours yet, and she already had a great touring history.
While there?s much to say about the music, costumes, and production, the impact of the Eras Tour is starkly reflected in the numbers: a projected gross of $2.2 billion in North American ticket sales alone, and hundreds of millions of streams, reaching a nearly 80% spike in those listening to her music catalog in the weeks after the tour kicked off.
Swift?s tour is in a league of its own, even among legendary groups like the Rolling Stones who have been touring for decades, other major touring artists like Harry Styles and Beyonc and contemporaries like Adele with sold-out Las Vegas residencies, as the singer-songwriter brings her mega tour directly to her dedicated fans in various cities for multiple nights.
The reasons behind the Eras Tours unmatched success are many. Nora Princiotti, staff writer at The Ringer and co-host of the podcast of Every Single Album: Taylor Swift, attributes part of the tour?s success to the sheer depth and popularity of Swift?s music catalog. ?I dont know that anybody envisioned a tour of this scale ever happening. She can go three and a half hours and just hit after hit after hit,? says Princiotti.
There?s also the timing: The tour has become the perfect outing for concert-goers itching for a post-pandemic live music immersive experience. ?We are in an experience economy where people crave going out and participating in social events,? says Alice Enders, a music industry analyst at Enders Analysis and a former senior economist at the World Trade Organization. ?Its no surprise that people are flocking to this Eras Tour experience in what is increasingly an otherwise digital environment we live in.?

Taylor Swift has turned down the chance to perform at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show in Las Vegas because she is simply too busy with her current Eras world tour. The 33-year-old singer, who will play several shows at Foro Sol in Mexico this week, has been touring the United States since March of this year but is in no rush to do the legendary musical performance that usually lasts between 12 and 15 minutes.
Taylor doesnt believe that performing at the Super Bowl halftime show in Sin City would be a defining moment for her right now and is very much focused on other projects.

Most touring acts go on the road for months at a time and it?s a whole traveling circus 24-7 with the artists, dancers and crew. Not Taylor most of her concerts are scheduled Thursday through Saturday, and then she has the other half of the week ?off,? where she flies home to New York or Nashville and decompresses and checks in with her cats. Her tour equipment is moved by 18-wheeler trucks and she has the franchise on those truckers: they are solely employed by her for the length of her tour. She?s removed herself from the traveling-circus aspect of touring and the whole operation is a well-oiled machine at this point, because she?s done this for her last three or four tours. Well, now Taylor?s truckers are getting a nice bonus.
Taylor Swift is sharing the wealth from her wildly successful Eras Tour in the form of six-figure bonuses for the truckers hauling her equipment all around the country! Our Taylor sources tell us she gifted each trucker working her tour $100,000 handing out the bonus checks before her Saturday show in Santa Clara, CA.
Were told the folks getting the money are production truck drivers who have been hauling Taylors equipment for The Eras Tour there are around 50 truckers for her U.S. tour, which means Taylor just shelled out about $5 million.
Our sources say the checks were an end of the tour bonus remember, the United States leg is coming to a close next week when Taylor plays a series of gigs at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood before moving down to Mexico.
Taylors nationwide tour has raked in $1 billion in sales and when the dust settles, she could end up having the highest-grossing tour of all time!!!
Truck drivers arent the only ones getting a slice of the pie in the form of bonuses. Our production sources tell us Taylor also bonused band members, dancers, lighting and sound technicians, caterers, and others. Its unclear how much the non-truckers received, but were told it was a very generous amount.

Having a fan base so devoted comes with a dark side, as we have seen in recent years. So this might be something of a first. Ahead of the re-release of her third album, Speak Now, Taylors asking fans not to harass one of that albums main muses: John Mayer. Kind of. She didnt address him directly, but if youre in the know, its not hard to figure out who shes talking about.
She never said his name, but Taylor Swift asked fans not to attack ex-boyfriend John Mayer when she releases her version of the album Speak Now?which contains the song ?Dear John??next month.

There is no doubt the song is about John Mayer. Everything about it points to him, down to the fact that the guitar lick in it sounds just like him. I also think that whatever she says to the contrary, she has some residual bitterness toward him. On the extended edition of her latest record, Midnights, she released a song called Wouldve Couldve Shouldve that is also believed to be about John, since it references her dancing with the devil at nineteen. (If you arent well-versed in her lyrics just trust me on this.) I have to be honest and admit that Wouldve Couldve Shouldve is my favorite song Taylor has ever done. For one thing, Aaron Dessner produced it and it is so much better than her work with Jack Antonoff. For another, I experienced a traumatic event at nineteen that triggered a religious crisis just like she sings about, so the song maps onto my own life in a way thats downright spooky. Anyway in it she sings, I cant let this go/I fight with you in my sleep/The wound wont close/I keep on waiting for a sign. Those dont sound like the words of someone who has resolved their anger, just saying. Maybe she wrote the song years ago, but she also knew her fans would make the connections to Dear John. Theyre right there. I noticed them on my first listen. I think John is a sleazebag but I also think Taylors fans frequently take things too far. Heres what I wonder: if the Swifties go after him after all, is she going to say anything then? Or is she going to let it happen? My gut tells me its too little, too late for Taylor to speak up about this now.

Everything about Taylor Swift?s brief, dramatic romance with Matt Healy has been an utter delight for me. It?s been amazing to watch as Taylor?s fans slowly begin to understand that she?s totally fine with dating a dude who is openly racist and pretty gross. It was amazing to watch as someone on Taylor?s team finally got through to her and convinced her to end things with Matt Healy. And finally, the post-split damage control is absolutely incredible. Personally, I?ve always found Taylor to be this ham-fisted with her image control, but many people are only seeing it for the first time now.
