What a glorious month it was, but now it?s over. Almost one month ago exactly, the Sun broke the news that Taylor Swift was seeing Matt Healy. Swifties and non-Swifties alike did a deep dive into the rumors Taylor and Matt had known each other for the better part of a decade, they reconnected last year through Jack Antonoff, Taylor made a surprise appearance at The 1975?s concert in early January, and implied throughout all of the reporting was the sense that Healy was ?the reason? why Taylor and Joe Alwyn broke up several months ago. In addition to all of the Swealy connections, the Snake Fam also examined Healy?s history as a racist ahole who likes to think that he?s some kind of provocateur. Even Azealia Banks expressed concern that Healy is a ?full incel? and Taylor is letting some scabies-ridden douche ?climb the rich white coochie mountain.? Last we heard, Healy had moved in with Taylor in New York. Alas, it?s already over!!!
Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are shaking it off when it comes to their relationship the singers have broken up TMZ has learned. According to a friend close to the situation Taylor is in fact single again, although its still unclear exactly why theyve now split up.
It was a pretty whirlwind romance just last month Matty popped up at all 3 of Tay Tays Nashville concerts, right on the heels of news she and Joe Alwyn had split after 6 years together. From then on Matty and Taylor were pretty inseparable when she wasnt performing. We saw them out in NYC multiple times double dating with her friends, and hitting up a recording studio. Matty was even spotted sneakin into Taylors NYC townhouse, and he hung out with Taylors dad during her Eras Tour stop in Philly.
Although they just started dating, the artists have known each other since 2014 when Taylor went to a concert for his band, The 1975.
They havent been seen in public together since May 25 when they were out on a dinner date. We still dont know exactly when the breakup went down, but there was a big clue things were over when The 1975 performed this weekend in Denmark. Matty had a history of kissing random people in the crowd, but during a January concert which Taylor was attending he said he was putting the kibosh on that move. Well, lo and behold, during this weekends concert he locked lips with a security guard. Talk about single and ready to mingle!!!

My guess is that it was always going to be more Tom Hiddleston-esque rather than another Joe Alwyn-type of longterm thing. I said it repeatedly, that the whirlwind, love-drunk energy reminded me of the summer of Tiddles (2016). Tiddles happened for a solid four months or so poor Matt Healy couldn?t even handle the bright, hot spotlight for one full month. Honestly, I do think Healy was probably scared sh-tless when he became a household name for all of the wrong reasons. But I also think someone finally talked some sense into Taylor too, probably her team or her publicist or maybe even Azealia Banks.

If you ask me, ?Karma? is not the strongest single from Taylor Swift?s Midnights, so it?s interesting that Taylor chose that song to remix and get another artist to do a drop-in. We?ll probably never know the exact timeline on exactly when Taylor asked Ice Spice to appear on the remix, but I bet it was AFTER Matt Healy said a bunch of racist sh-t about Ice Spice and BEFORE everyone knew that Taylor had started something with Healy while she was still technically with Joe Alwyn. On her day off from tour, Swift, 33, and Healy, 34, spent time with a group of pals, including Zo Kravitz, Margaret Qualley and her fianc, Jack Antonoff ? one of Swift?s longtime collaborators. Taylor and Matty were kissing, adds the source.

It?s hilarious that these official sightings continue to treat Taylor like an 18-year-old doing something scandalous with her boyfriend, like making out at a club. I believe they infantilize Taylor so much because A) she?s white and immature and B) because a big chunk of her fanbase is so young. Tay is 33 years old she?s doing more than making out with a dude who casually did a Nazi salute on stage THIS YEAR. Also: I continue to love the narrative that Taylor had ?a day off? from her tour she schedules her tours so that she has weekdays off and basically only has shows on the weekend. Taylor Swift?s 2016 summer is still burned into my mind. The summer of Tiddlebanging, the summer of the Worldwide Tiddles Tour, the summer where Tom Hiddleston wore the ?I Heart TS? t-shirt. Gossip-wise, it was maybe the best summer in the past decade. The Tiddles Tour is the gossip gold-standard, and while I was happy for Taylor when she was with Lowkey Joe Alwyn, I still longed for Taylor to be messy. Well, I got my wish. Taylor and Joe broke up in maybe March or April. It?s more than likely that she had already been fooling around with Matt Healy for months before the split. And now ?Swealy? is trying to give us some Tiddles vibes.

Matt Healy joined Taylor Swift in Philadelphia over the weekend, for her latest Eras concert. Healy performed with Taylor?s opening act, Phoebe Bridgers, and then Healy hung out in the VIP area for Taylor?s concert. He was seen with Taylor?s parents. After Philly, Healy and Taylor traveled back to New York, which is where they stayed last week, after Taylor?s Nashville concert. Healy is, by all accounts, staying at Taylor?s ritzy New York apartment and ?they?re not platonic? (lol). Healy was even photographed on Monday entering and leaving Taylor?s apartment building when he arrived, he carried a big Louis Vuitton bag, which he left at her apartment.
I thought that was going to be the story, just pointing out that Healy is staying with Taylor in New York and has been for weeks. But then these photos came out, the photos in this post. Taylor and Matt were photographed together as they exited the Electric Lady recording studio, where Taylor seemingly hosted a small reception with friends. As Matt and Taylor left, they were surrounded by Taylor?s security and paparazzi. Matt protectively put his hand on Taylor?s back as he followed behind her. These are the first big ?public outing? photos (I?m not counting those grainy pics in a Nashville parking garage). They are claiming each other.
So, yeah I love this? I love this because the Snake Fam is SO MAD about this. Taylor?s fans are (correctly) calling Healy a problematic person and someone with uncomfortably racist and bigoted views. They can?t believe that Taylor would dump a ?good guy? like Joe Alwyn to carry on with this chaotic and bigoted bad-boy. The snake fam is so mad that they?re bringing up all of Taylor?s old problematic behavior too and it?s glorious. I love it all.

The London-to-Nashville-to-New York tour is giving me a flashback to the Tiddles Worldwide Love Tour in 2016. I?m saying that as a compliment I adored the worldwide Tiddles Tour. They were having so much fun, they were enjoying the game so much. Maybe that?s the silver lining for the Snake Fam? This has a love-drunk Tiddles feel to it, something which is fun and exciting for several months and then burns out quickly. It will be curious to see how often Healy joins her while she?s on tour. The 1975?s summer tour starts in Europe in early June, so my guess is that they?re probably going to spend the next two weeks together or so and then they might be apart for much of the summer. We?ll see.

In February, Healy apparently broke it off with his model girlfriend. And the most generous interpretation of Taylor?s split with Joe Alwyn is that it happened sometime in March, and the announcement came in April. I believe that Taylor overlapped, just because she?s done that before and it seems to be how she operates. She also likes to ensure that breakups are never her fault, and in the case of Joe Alwyn, the breakup wasn?t her fault because he wasn?t comfortable with her fame and he didn?t want to be super-public. So it wasn?t her fault that she overlapped!
Anyway, Healy really was in Nashville last weekend to attend and perform at Taylor?s concert (Healy performed with Tay?s opening act, Phoebe Bridgers). Healy was seen out and about in Nashville, getting coffee with one of Taylor?s security guards. Then the Mail got the first photos of Healy and Taylor together, headed to Taylor?s Nashville condo.

Add to all of that, Taylor stepped out in New York last night and gave the paparazzi some exclusive photos where she looked great. The message: she?s not crying at home, she?s out with friends (Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff) and she looks happy and healthy. Why they split: Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn broke up a few weeks ago after six years of dating, and a source close to the Grammy winner and the Conversations with Friends actor tells PEOPLE the split was largely caused by differences in their personalities.
Rough patches: Theyve had rough patches before and always worked things out, so friends thought they would take some time apart but eventually come back together, says the source, noting that ultimately Swift, 33, and Alwyn, 32, werent the right fit for one another.
The safe bubble in the early days: They had plenty in common and fell in love in a safe bubble while she was retreating from the world during Reputation, adds the source, referring to Swifts 2017 studio album. When Taylor Swift?s Eras Tour began, People Magazine had a story about how Taylor and Joe Alwyn were fine, that after six years together, they didn?t need to live in each other?s pockets and he would visit her on tour when he could. It honestly didn?t seem suspicious to me at the time I assumed they were fine, mostly because we rarely hear anything dramatic about them in the mainstream gossip press. But now? now I think the People story was mega-sus. It was a gossip stop-gap, right? It was Taylor telling her fans: don?t worry, don?t start rumor-mongering if you don?t see Joe around these days. Yeah. Joe opted out, or Taylor opted out, and here we are. JoeTay is OVER.
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have called it quits. ET has exclusively learned that the Lavender Haze singer and the British actor broke up a few weeks ago.
ET has also learned that the split was amicable and it was not dramatic. ETs told the relationship had just run its course. Its why [Alwyn] hasnt been spotted at any shows. Swift, 33, is currently on her The Eras tour, which heads to Tampa, Florida next week.
It wasnt so long ago when Swift and Alwyn were said to have been in a great place in their relationship. They started dating in late 2016, and a source told ET back in October that they were doing great and that their relationship is super strong. That update came just hours after Swift dropped her highly anticipated 10th studio album, Midnights, followed by seven additional songs released in her surprise 3am Edition of the album.

People Magazine also had a confirmation that they broke up a ?source close to the pair? confirmed the news, and they also point out that Joe hasn?t been to any of her Eras concerts (a fact which I find insignificant but I guess there?s a reason why Joe?s absence has been cited by multiple outlets). I know some Snake Fam members believe that this hasn?t been for-real confirmed, but? this is the confirmation. If People AND Entertainment Tonight had gotten it wrong, Taylor?s publicist would have crawled all over those outlets and gotten them to take down or correct the reports. Instead, it?s more than likely that the breakup happened weeks ago and Taylor?s team held the news and purposefully leaked the story the day before Easter because most people had taken off and weren?t paying attention to the news.
As for the split? well, I was genuinely surprised. I hadn?t gotten a vibe from JoeTay, and I really thought they were solid. Some of you might believe that Taylor wanted to get married and Joe didn?t, or that the ?Lavender Haze? lyrics signal something or other. I really don?t know. If Taylor did want to marry him and he wasn?t into it, then so be it and I?m glad she?s moving on. This was her longest, most serious relationship it began in the Obama administration for goodness sake and she kept a lot of her life with Joe private. I do think that?s probably over her next album will explain exactly what happened, I?m sure.

Last week, Taylor Swift?s fandom was in shambles. Tickets for Taylor?s Eras Tour went on sale, but there were a series of terrible events. People waited hours online to pay thousands of dollars for tickets, but most people were shut out of Ticketmaster entirely. There was also immediately a huge secondary market for tickets with exorbitant resale prices. All of it was a catastrophe for Ticketmaster, less so for Taylor Swift personally. If anything, the debacle has put a huge target on Ticketmaster?s back, as the full, punitive force of the Snake Fam has come barrelling down on the Ticketmaster monopoly. Still, Taylor made a statement about it:
?Well. It goes without saying that I?m extremely protective of my fans. We?ve been doing this for decades together and over the years, I?ve brought so many elements of my career in house,? she began her statement that was posted to social media. ?I?ve done this SPECIFICALLY to improve the quality of my fans? experience by doing it myself with my team who care as much about my fans as I do. It?s really difficult for me to trust an outside entity with these relationships and loyalties, and excruciating for me to just watch mistakes happen with no recourse.?
Swift said there was ?a multitude of reasons? why people had ?such a hard time trying to get tickets? and is trying to figure out how to ?improve? the disastrous rollout moving forward.
?I?m not going to make excuses for anyone because we asked them, multiple times, if they could handle this time of demand and we were assured they could,? she continued. ?It?s truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.?
Swift, 32, said she hopes to provide ?more opportunities? to get together with her fans who weren?t able to get tickets.

She made sure she got all kinds of assurances from Ticketmaster that they could handle the kind of heat her tour would bring. Ticketmaster failed her and her fans. The company knows it too, because they issued a statement after Taylor:
Ticketmaster doesn?t want any ?bad blood? with Taylor Swift and her fans. Following the disastrous ticket sale for the ?Eras Tour,? the company offered a formal apology to the singer, as well as her legions of fans known as Swifties on Friday.
?We want to apologize to Taylor and all of her fans ? especially those who had a terrible experience trying to purchase tickets. We feel we owe it to everyone to share some information to help explain what happened,? the company tweeted, along with a link to a lengthy breakdown of how fans were shut out of purchasing tickets.
On Thursday, Swifties were left furious to discover that they had been locked out of the general sale for the ?Anti-Hero? singer?s highly anticipated tour.
?Due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand, tomorrow?s public on-sale for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been cancelled,? Ticketmaster tweeted without further explanation.

Yeah, Ticketmaster fked up and this lukewarm apology is nowhere near enough. Interestingly, the New York Times is reporting that the Department of Justice has opened up an ?antitrust investigation into the owner of Ticketmaster,? an investigation which predates the Eras Tour debacle but will likely be expanded to include this fiasco. The Biden administration is particularly anti-monopoly, so this Eras mess happened at an interesting time politically.
