Obviously the current dominating story with Taylor Swift is her budding romance with Travis Kelce. But that?s no excuse to let up the attention on how she?s a certified billionaire, is breaking all kinds of box office and concert ticket records, and has earned a Golden Globe nomination in a brand new category for her self-distributed Eras Tour concert film. As a birthday gift to Taylor, Guinness World Records announced that Eras Tour had become the highest-grossing music tour of all time. It feels incorrect to call this news, since we know she owns us all at this point. So let?s call it confirmation of an inherent truth. E! News rounded up some more facts and figures about this milestone:
Taylor Swift?s uber-popular Eras Tour has officially broken the record for the highest-grossing music tour of all time, Guinness World Records announced Dec. 12.
The Grammy winner?s concert series has reportedly become the first to make more than $1 billion in revenue ? specifically, it has earned $1.04 billion in just nine months after opening in March 2023, Guinness notes, citing Pollstar. (Bloomberg also crowned Swift personally a billionaire in October.)
Before Swift?s achievement at age 33, Elton John, 76, held the record for highest-grossing tour thanks to his farewell concert series, which ended in Sweden in July 2023 after five years, reportedly making $939 million.
So, while there?s only so far new money goes, it?s clear Swift is going the distance. And she has more shows left, returning to the stage in Tokyo in February 2024, before heading to Australia, Singapore and then Europe.
For fans not able to make the trek (or score a stub on Ticketmaster), Swift also brought the experience to the big screen in October with the release of her Eras Tour movie. The concert film has brought in nearly $250 million worldwide in two months and will be available to rent on Prime Video Dec. 13.

Oh man, rub it in more, E! News. 33-year-old Taylor Swift + 9 months of touring = $1 billion whereas 76-year-old Elton John + 5 years of touring = $939 million. But it?s not like Taylor doesn?t work hard for her money. Later on the article quoted some parts of Taylor?s TIME Person of the Year interview where she talked about her training for the tour:
?I knew this tour was harder than anything I?d ever done before by a long shot,? she told TIME magazine in an interview published Dec. 6. ?Every day I would run on the treadmill, singing the entire set list out loud. Fast for fast songs, and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs.?
The ?Anti-Hero? singer then had three months of dance training, ?because I wanted to get it in my bones,? she added. ?I wanted to be so over-rehearsed that I could be silly with the fans, and not lose my train of thought.?

I love when artists talk shop about preparation and processes. And I especially love it when the method turns out to be ?practice, practice, practice!? There?s often a magical notion out there that someone successful simply has something ineffable that makes them destined for achievement. Sure, people can have an ?it? factor. But success comes down to doing the work, even when it?s repetitive or unglamorous. Even when it?s spending three hours everyday running on the treadmill while singing. And since I haven?t been on a treadmill in REDACTED years, that is the (one and only) reason why I am not as successful as Taylor Swift.

You guys, this is the second GREAT Stella McCartney ensemble I?ve seen in as many days. What is happening? Usually I loathe all things Stella McCartney, but Pamela Anderson?s Stella outfit at the British Fashion Awards was amazing, and now look at Taylor Swift?s Stella McCartney coat and matching miniskirt. They?re outstanding! I love that tweed, I love everything about her street-style look here (except the shoes). The coat is apparently $2900. Yikes, too rich for me, but it does look great on Tay.
These are pics of Taylor out to dinner last night in Tribeca. She flew out of Kansas City yesterday I think, or maybe Monday? Some outlets described her flight back to New York as ?sudden,? but? that?s where she lives, and she?s not just going to camp out in Kansas City permanently. Especially when Meredith, Benjamin and Olivia are probably still living in New York. I don?t see any gossip about Taylor?s dinner companions, so it?s possible she just went out with her security guys they went to Paros, a Greek restaurant.
The Kansas City Chiefs will play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and the game is at Arrowhead in KC. Will Taylor fly back down this weekend to see her man play? This past Sunday was the first time the Chiefs lost with Taylor in attendance. I wonder?

Back in May, Taylor Swift released a new edition of her Midnights album, and the new edition included a new-to-fans song called ?You?re Losing Me.? Swifties soon put the pieces together that Taylor was explaining why she and Joe Alwyn broke up he didn?t want to marry her, she didn?t want to conform to whatever image he had of what ?his girlfriend? should look like, etc. I covered the song here it came out when Taylor and her team were in the trenches over Tay?s relationship with Matt Healy, and the song absolutely had the feel of a convenient distraction from that PR mess. It?s also worth noting that while we only found out about the Swift-Alwyn split in early spring, I absolutely had the vibe that Taylor and Joe were on the rocks for a while before then. Taylor Swift began the South American leg of her Eras Tour last weekend in Argentina. The next day, Travis Kelce flew down to see her and Taylor ended up rain-checking that night?s show due to, well, rain. She said on Twitter ?I love a rain show but I?m never going to endanger my fans or my fellow performers and crew. We?ve rescheduled tonight?s Buenos Aires show for Sunday due to the weather being so truly chaotic it would be unsafe to try and put on this concert.? And so it went. After a quick zip back to NYC, Taylor traveled back down for three Rio de Janeiro shows. Much of Brazil was under severe heat advisory last week, with temperatures at times exceeding 100 F. Tragically, one young fan lost her life due to the extreme heat at Friday?s show. Ana Clara Benevides Machado was 23 years old. After commenting on Instagram that she was ?shattered? by the death, Taylor took to Instagram again on Saturday, hours before showtime, to announce she was canceling due to the heat.
On Saturday, the pop superstar shared an Instagram Story, notifying her followers that her second of three Eras Tour concerts at Estadio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will not go on as planned.
The decision, which Swift wrote was a result of the ?extreme temperatures in Rio,? comes a day after an attendee died ahead of Swift?s Friday concert.
?I?m writing this from my dressing room in the stadium,? Swift shared to her Instagram Story in a hand-written note Saturday. ?The decision has been made to postpone tonight?s show due to the extreme temperatures in Rio.?
?The safety and well being of my fans, fellow performers and crew has to and will always come first.?
While Swift?s announcement did not specify a new date for her Saturday show, event organizer Time for Fun revealed in a later statement that the show has been rescheduled to Monday, with all tickets to Saturday?s performance remaining valid for the new date.
The postponement follows Swift?s previous Instagram Story, where she revealed that her heart was ?shattered? by the death of a fan on Friday.
Time for Fun shared in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado had died after feeling unwell at the venue. According to the post, which was shared in Portuguese, first responders attended to Benevides Machado and she died after being transferred to the local Salagdo Filfo Hospital.
?I can?t believe I?m writing these words, but it?s with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show,? Swift wrote on Friday.
?I can?t even tell you how devastated I am by this,? she added. ?There?s very little information I have other than the fact she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young.?

A local Brazilian paper, Folha De S Paulo, says that Ana Clara Benevides Machado arrived at the venue at 11am, and passed out shortly before the show?s 7:30pm start time. While the temperature was technically about 102 F that day, factoring in the humidity means that at times it felt like 138 F. Pivotally, Time for Fun apparently had a ban on bringing water bottles in, despite the extreme heat. Lots of videos have circulated this weekend of Taylor directing organizers to get water to fans clearly in need ? I wonder if she was aware that the very same organizers had banned the water bottles on their way in? Temperatures went down enough that Taylor resumed performing on Sunday, but the Brazilian government still ordered Time for Fun to allow fans to bring their own water bottles into the venue. Time for Fun has additionally said it would provide free water at lines and all entryways moving forward. Thanks, Time for Fun, but all this should have been set in motion on Friday when 60,000+ people were assembled in 140 F heat. Concert organizers should know this. (And let?s face it, severe weather will likely be around for a while.)

When Taylor Swift is touring in North America, she times out the concert dates to have four or five-day blocs where she returns to one of her homes and chills out. I thought it would be different when she?s touring internationally, that Taylor would have a lot to do and a lot to manage, and it would be a giant time-suck to constantly fly back and forth to the US in-between tour dates. I was wrong Taylor flew back to New York after her Argentina concerts, and then shell fly down to Brazil in a few days. She was out last night in NYC like jet-lag doesnt even affect her. After South America, she has a touring break in December and January. After that, it?s Asia and Australia in February-March, then Europe in May through August. A European summer next year! I wonder if Travis Kelce will still be around by then. If we were creating a perfect man for Taylor, we would have written down all of those qualities secure in himself, has his own career, has his own money, he?s respectful, he?s family-oriented, he?s funny and dorky. But sometimes the good-on-paper guys aren?t the ones you end up marrying. Maybe I?m totally off-base here, but what I?ve predicted all along is that Taylor is gonna end up fighting her own urge to sabotage this relationship. As someone with a strong contrarian streak, I understand that completely sometimes when everyone around you is pressuring you or trying to convince you of something, you just want to walk away from it completely.

Last night, the South American leg of Taylor Swift?s Eras Tour began in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She?s performing three nights in a row in Argentina, so she has concerts at Estadio River Plate tonight and Saturday night as well. The big gossip ahead of her first show was ?where is Travis Kelce?? The Kansas City Chiefs have a week off their next game isn?t until November 20th. Outlets like NBC News and Page Six had sources claiming that Travis was absolutely going to South America to see his girlfriend?s concerts. But? he wasn?t in the audience last night in Buenos Aires.
There was a ?Blank Space? in the Buenos Aires crowd Thursday night. It seems that Travis Kelce was absent from Taylor Swift?s first Eras Tour concert in Argentina, despite eagle-eyed fans searching the crowd all night.
Page Six confirmed Wednesday that Kelce would be traveling to the South American country to support the 12-time Grammy winner.
Swift still has two shows to perform in Buenos Aires on Friday and Saturday, respectively, so the NFL star still has the chance to support his girlfriend.
Although Kelce was seemingly not in attendance, Swift still put on a flawless performance in front of over 70,000 fans as she kicked off the international leg of her record-breaking tour.
An insider close to the NFL star, 34, told Page Six Wednesday that he was definitely traveling to see the pop star, 33, perform over the weekend ? yet they didn?t specify which show he planned to attend.

While ?loving autumn? has been commercialized to the point of collective nausea, I really do love everything about this time of year. Cold mornings, cool afternoons. Layers, but rarely heavy coats. Long sleeves, knitwear. Warm cups of tea or hot chocolate. Plentiful apples. Everything feels crisp. Well, Taylor Swift loves autumn too. It?s remarkable to think about this, but she really has lived in New York for a decade now. I don?t think about it like that because I?m pretty sure she spent much of the Joe Alwyn-relationship in England, but still, New York has been her primary residence for a decade. She must love an East Coast autumn, and she has the fall wardrobe to prove it.
These are photos of Taylor out on Friday night. As you can see, she got her autumn clothes out wide-leg canvas (?) trousers in some kind of muddy olive shade and a Gucci sweater in shades of brown. She paired the look with a caramel-leather purse and heeled boots. A very autumnal look, but she has much better cold-weather style than this. I actually think the Gucci sweater is completely fug, but I?m sure it costs thousands.
Taylor went out to dinner with Phoebe Bridgers, who opened for the Eras Tour for several months. Bridgers and Swift have become close friends in recent years. They went to Minetta Tavern in Greenwich Village, and according to the owner of the restaurant, Taylor and Phoebe ate ?baked oysters and foie gras amouse bouche,? and Taylor really liked the foie gras. Ew. I don?t fk with foie gras, but a lot of wealthy people do. Baked oysters sound nice though. Let me look at this menu oh, it?s French cuisine, with sort of a New York twist. The truffle-roasted chicken is what I would get, hands down. The dessert list is BONKERS. I love that Taylor goes out to New York?s cool restaurants with her girlfriends.
Meanwhile, Taylor?s boyfriend Travis Kelce is in Germany this weekend, where the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt. At the team?s press conference in Germany, he was asked if Taylor would be flying in. Travis wouldn?t say, but he did say this: When I mention, or everyone knows shes at the game, the Vegas line and over/under on my catches goes up and down. The spread goes up and down. So I dont want to mess with any of that stuff. Im just going to keep that to myself. He was asked if there was any update on his romance and he said: The latest status is, ?I got to see her last week.' Then he was asked if he?s in love with Taylor and he said, ?I?m going to keep my personal relationship personal.? He handled that deftly.

I love Taylor Swift and her team?s brief little updates to People Magazine. Team Swift has been doing it for a while and I appreciate that they?re pretty matter-of-fact about it. We saw it a lot in the six-week ?romance? with Matt Healy too Team Swift tried hard to stay on top of the narrative via casual briefings to People, and then when Swift and Healy broke up, the briefings were ?it was never that serious anyway, you guys overreacted!? I remember! Anyway, Team Swift wants us to know that Taylor and Travis Kelce are getting very serious about each other.
It seems like romance is burning red between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. A source tells PEOPLE that things are getting more serious between the Cruel Summer singer, 33, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34.
Its quickly turning more serious. They share a strong work ethic and have a huge appreciation for life and their careers, strong family bond and values, says the source.
Kelce is also sweet, goofy and just a blast to be around, adds the source.

The sleep thing is something I?ve noticed a lot recently, where athletes casually talk about sleeping for nine, ten, eleven, maybe even twelve hours a day. Tennis players have started talking about it more (which is how I trendspotted it!) and there?s one 20-year-old tennis player who honestly tries to get up to 13 hours of sleep a day because he thinks sleep is the best restorative method for his body. Maybe athletes have always been like that, but it does feel like it?s some kind of trend and now elite athletes are like ?yeah, part of my recovery is a mandatory three-hour nap every day.? Taylor didnt attend last nights Chiefs game in Denver and the Chiefs lost. After the game, Denver played Swifts Shake It Off while Broncos fans celebrated. Ouch.

It feels like people in the NFL world probably have an image of Taylor Swift as a sophisticated urbanite who only dated posh British guys. But from what I?ve seen and what I know about Taylor, I would imagine that she?s probably quite at home in Travis Kelce?s world, and I would also imagine that she enjoys the time she?s spent in Kansas City. Kansas City has a population of a half a million people, it?s urban (and suburban) and they have nice restaurants and cool neighborhoods and a thriving art/music community. She probably loves it there! Well, Taylor apparently enjoys Kansas City so much that she stayed there even after the Chiefs game on Sunday. Travis took Taylor out to an Argentinian steakhouse on Monday night.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce topped off their picture perfect weekend with a romantic dinner near his home in Kansas City. DailyMail.com spotted the hottest new couple arriving at sophisticated Argentine steakhouse Piropos in his Rolls Royce Monday night.
The restaurant usually closes at 9pm but stayed open late to accommodate the celebrity pair, who at one point had the entire restaurant to themselves for an intimate dinner for two.
After two hours inside, the pair were seen walking hand-in-hand to the car. Travis then gently placed his hand on the small of Taylors back and ever the gentleman, opened the car door and made sure the popstar was safely inside.
The Argentinian meal could be a sign that Taylor is gearing up for the international leg of her ERAs tour that takes her to Buenos Aires in just a few weeks.
They could choose from such delicacies as empanadas and Argentine style crab bisque or go all out on a peppercorn crusted filet for $50, a rib-eye for $52, or a lobster at market price. The restaurant is known for its grilled meats, seafood, fresh salads and vegetables with a touch of Spanish, Italian, French and other ethnic foods to enjoy the cosmopolitan nature of Argentinean dining.
The couple ended the night by diving back to his house followed by the singers security team and three Kansas City Police Department SUVs. Travis was dressed in the blue Celine track suit he had worn all day, while Taylor wore a short skirt, brown jacket and knee high boots accentuating her toned legs.

Some people say you should never eat seafood when you?re that far inland, so I am side-eyeing some of their claims that the seafood is super-fresh. But the loaded baked potato looks amazing! I wonder what Taylor ordered. I wonder what Travis ordered too, because I bet he ordered like three dishes. The fact that he arranged for the restaurant to stay open late so they could be alone? wow. Sure, but now Travis Kelce is dating one of the most famous women in the world. There were world leaders pleading with her to bring her tour to their countries. So? Travis needed to ?level up? in a hurry. Looks like he? just bought a house in a gated community.
Travis Kelce has snapped up a $6 million mansion in Kansas City in a desperate bid for more privacy surrounding his newfound romance with Taylor Swift, Page Six can confirm. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, and the 12-time Grammy winner, 33, have been enjoying frequent rendezvouses in recent weeks, and were photographed holding hands in NYC last week.
On Tuesday, Kelce signed on the dotted line to close the deal, making him the new owner of a plush pad that boasts a waterfall, swimming pool and mini golf course, TMZ first reported. The luxe home is nestled in a gated community, offering unparalleled privacy for Kelce and any guests that stay over in the future.
Kelce began his quest of searching for a private estate after it became clear to him how accessible his previous home was, according to the outlet.
Kelce already owned a custom-designed, seven-bedroom mansion based in Kansas City?s ritzy Briarcliff West neighborhood, which he purchased for $995,000 in 2019, and an Orlando condo which he grabbed for $355,000 in the same year.
Kelce, who has an annual salary of $14 million, signed a lucrative four-deal deal with the team worth $57 million in 2020. The hefty sum does not include paid partnerships, which earn him millions alone.

I really respect Travis here he?s doing everything he can to show Taylor that he?s serious and locked-in, and planning for the future. Hope his new house has a bedroom which can be converted into a closet for Travis?s wardrobe.
