| Miranda Lambert in Pamella Roland at the Grammys: lovely or too revealing? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

We’ll be bringing you more Grammy’s fashion this morning and you can see a performance recap here. First off we have Miranda Lambert, looking slimmed down and hot in a red very low cut red Pamella Roland gown. Lambert toned it down for her performance, right after the in memoriam montage. She wore a black v-neck gown that didn’t show as much of her tatas when she sang The Everly Brothers’ “When Will I Be Loved” along with Green Day’s Billy Joe Armstrong. (Phil Everly passed away earlier this month, and members of his family were in the audience.) So this was Miranda’s “look at me” red carpet dress, which she switched up to show respect. Very nice.
As far as Miranda’s styling, this is very old Hollywood and she looks incredible. I love the sideswept curly hair.
Here are some more ladies in red last night (although certainly not all of them). We have Tamar Braxton in Michael Costello. E!’s Kelly and Ross said that this was a leather dress, which is hard to tell in photos. This is kind of a standard looking fishtail dress, but I like the pointy kind of superhero bustline. Tamar was nominated in the Best R&B performance and Best Urban Contemporary categories, which went to other artists. No sippy cups for Tamar. I don’t think those categories were even announced last night anyway.
Presenter Gloria Estefan was lovely in Gustavo Cadile. That dress is kind of 90s with the satin on the bottom and the lace on the top. I had a similar prom dress, but she’s working it and it looked striking on camera.
Finally Colbie Caillat was in Ezra Santos. Someone commented that it looked like she didn’t have a neck. That is some Marchesa-looking ice skater fugness with the giant single shoulder pad, the feather overlay and the strategic cut out. There’s also a ridiculous train. Not cute.

| Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton laugh off split rumors: overblown or accurate? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I tend to believe the rumors that Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are having problems. Miranda practically admitted that she got together with Blake while he was married to his last wife. She also admitted to snooping his phone. Meawhile Blake has claimed that Miranda is difficult to get along with, while Miranda slimmed down dramatically this year. It just reminded me of how Khloe Kardashian lost weight right around the time that Lamar was cheating on her.
Miranda and Blake’s alleged split, which we’ve been hearing about for over a year at least, takes the cover of the current National Enquirer. Here’s a segment from that story, which claims that Miranda wants Blake go to rehab, and that Blake wants children and Miranda isn’t ready.
Country musics’s hottest power couple got into a “rip-roaring screaming match” after Miranda demanded that the booze-loving “Voice” star check into rehab. And things got even more heated when Miranda – who recently dropped 30 pounds – threw Blake another curve by balking when he got on her case about having a baby.
“All hell broke loose,” said a source. “Blake said he wanted Miranda to be pregnant by their third wedding anniversary in May. He’s sick of waiting. He said that if Miranda was a good wife, she’d give him a baby. Miranda shot back ‘No way – not after losing all this weight…
“Miranda tore into Blake, calling him a ‘stupid idiot’ for thinking that she’d willingly let herself balloon back up after just getting into amazing shape,” said the source. “Then she dropped another bombshell. Miranda told Blake that she wouldn’t even consider bringing a baby into their lives unless Blake goes to rehab to tackle his drinking problem.”
[From The National Enquirer, print edition, January 4, 2014]
Blake tweeted the following in response to the cover, not really denying much, but mocking the rumors in general.
Radar points out that Blake and Miranda were spotted together in Charlotte at one of Blake’s concerts. They point us to this fan picture of the two of them looking happy.

At this point, what?s the popular opinion on Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton? I don?t hate either of them, and in the past, I?ve read interviews with Miranda where she came across very well. That being said, my Spidey Sense is tingling about their marriage. I?m not saying ?divorce? and I?m not saying any big controversy is imminent, but I do wonder if there?s some fire to be found amongst all this smoke. I get a ?cheater? vibe from him and I get a ?I?ll spy on my husband and burn all of his belongings if he looks at another woman? vibe from her, so it will get interesting.
Where was I going with that? Ah, yes ? Miranda has recently lost some weight. It?s not like, say, Christina Aguilera where she looks like a totally new person or something. Miranda was a curvy girl and now she?s slimmed down, especially in her mid-section. I would say she?s probably lost 20 pounds. When I first saw photos of her weight loss, I thought, ?Huh, I wonder if THAT has something to do with her marriage.? What I did not think, however, is that she lost weight in some weird way, like lipo or a tummy tuck. And Miranda just released a statement saying as much:
Though I NEVER care what the tabloids have to say about me? I wanted to address this certain story they are running this week and set the record straight. I DID NOT have surgery to lose weight. That is ridiculous. I lost my weight the healthy and good old fashioned way. Watching what I eat and working out with my trainer Bill Crutchfield. As for the assumed number of pounds lost?? I don?t even know! Like I have always said, it?s not about a scale, it?s about how you feel and how your jeans fit. And on November 10th when I turned 30, my skinny jeans were finally baggy! Mission accomplished! So for anyone who is tempted to read the ?Trash Talk? please don?t. I am proud to be a normal size girl and I want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size. Thanks for the support yall!
Cheers, Miranda
[From Miranda?s blog]
While I don?t think she had lipo or her stomach stapled (seriously, she wasn?t big at all and I’ll believe Aguilera got staples before I’ll believe it about Miranda), I do wonder if her weight loss was ALL healthy? Like, I wonder if stress contributed to it. I wonder if Miranda was following Blake?s wandering dong around and she forgot to eat. But sure, diet and exercise. I?ll believe that too. Why not?
Also: the only thing that really shocks me is that Miranda is 30. That floors me every time. I always thought she was mid to late-30s. I know that’s rude to say and I’m sorry, but seriously, how is she ONLY 30?

Bringing one of her newest hits to the Bridgestone Arena and television audience, Miranda Lambert performed at the 2013 CMT Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (June 5).
The 29-year-old songstress belted out "Mama's Broken Heart" to the energized crowd before returning to her seat next to hubby Blake Shelton.
Though she's nominated for four awards this year and Blake only nabbed one nod, he's not letting jealousy enter their marriage.
The "Voice" coach told MTV News, "You know, as long as one of us wins; people, when they walk in our house, they see some awards on the shelf, but they never really walk over and read 'em. So if they see one of her awards sitting there, they'll be like 'Oh, what did Miranda get a Grammy for?' And I'll say 'Oh, that's mine.' And they say 'Oh, that is yours.' I'll do the same thing with these CMT Awards. As long as it's on the shelf, and people don't actually read the plaque, that's mine."

Our last coverage on Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert was a front-page, publicist-approved US Weekly article with a lot of quotes suggesting severe cracks in their less then two year marriage. Miranda admitted, on the record, that she snoops into Blake’s phone and reads his Twitter direct messages, adding “it just takes the question out of the marriage.” Other, unnamed sources told US that Miranda knew that Blake was “flirty” with other women but that she believed his assurances that he hasn’t cheated and that she’s standing by him. (Remember that Miranda half-admitted that she hooked up with Blake when he was married to his first wife, so she has reason to worry.)
Well that might not be for long, because Miranda and Blake are either about to split or they have already, depending on which tabloid you believe. Radar has the details for us:
?Despite being married, Miranda and Blake are like two ships passing in the night,? a source told the National Enquirer, who is reporting it?s splitsville for the once happy couple.
?Between their touring schedules and public appearances, they?re actually together only about 50 days a year. That?s no way to run a marriage ? and suspicions and jealousies creep up between them.?
Speaking of jealousy, Star magazine is reporting that Miranda is green with envy over Blake?s decision to bring Sheryl Crow onto The Voice as his guest mentor.
?Miranda lit into Blake. She bawled and screamed that he?s heartless, and he yelled back that she needs to chill out and trust him,? a pal told the magazine.
?Sheryl?s been texting and calling Blake during off-hours, and Miranda is extremely annoyed.?
But as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported last week, it was Miranda who turned down the guest mentor gig on her hubby?s talent show!
?Blake originally wanted Miranda to be his celebrity mentor this season, and of course the producers of The Voice were all for it,? an insider revealed to Radar.
?While she had to turn it down because there would have been conflicts with her touring schedule, it still became the cause of a few major arguments between them.?
According to the Enquirer, the two have a difference of opinion of where they?d like to spend their time ? Blake in LA and Miranda in Oklahoma ? and the good looking 36-year-old being constantly surrounded by young beautiful singers isn?t helping matters.
[From Radar Online]
They don’t trust each other, they want to live in different cities, and they haven’t spent much time together. They’ve only been married two years and they don’t have any kids yet, so there’s that. I don’t see how they’re going to last, but at least they can fly to see each other whenever they have a moment free. Miranda should visit Blake unannounced sometimes so she can check up on him.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton cover this week’s US Weekly. It reads like a PR piece in which Miranda admits that she knows people are saying her husband cheats, but she’s pretty sure there’s nothing going on and it’s just rumors. Miranda supposedly knows Blake is faithful, even though she’s apart from her husband most of the time, because she snoops in his twitter account and phone whenever they’re together. The article also includes quotes from Miranda about how tough marriage is and how she’s surprised they even lasted a year. Miranda and Blake are coming up on their two year anniversary.
She knows it looks bad and she monitors his data
“She knows he comes off as flirty,” says one source of the country darling, who has copped to reading her husband’s text and direct Twitter messages. “She questions him at times and asks about certain girls. The rumors are hard for her to hear.”
Blake swears he didn’t cheat with young singer Cady Groves
“Blake swears up and down that nothing happened,” says a Shelton insider – another source says the ugly rumors have taken a toll.
And at the very least, stir up some memories. Lambert herself has confessed to falling for him at first sight in 2005 – even though she was reportedly in a relationship at the time and he was still wed to Kaynette Williams.
She’s monitoring him on set
“Miranda is definitely aware of how Blake can act,” says a Voice insider. “That’s why she’ll hang out on set to keep an eye on him.” Echoes another insider, “She trusts him, but she knows how flirty she appears.”
They won’t be together this summer
Even sharing a time zone this summer will amount to a serious challenge. “Their schedule is truly the harderst part,” says a Lambert source of the couple, who share a spacious rental in the Hollywood Hills, a Nashville pad and a farm in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. “Miranda always has to go to L.A., or they’ll meet in Oklahoma. It’s a lot of flying.”
Miranda told US in January that she snoops
“Either one of us can always look at each other’s phone, and we know each other’s passcode. I don’t have to snoop anymore. It just takes the question out of the marriage. I like to check his direct messages [On Twitter]”
[From US Weekly, print edition, April 29, 2013]
Is this acceptable in a marriage to reach a point where you don’t trust the person and are digging through their data whenever you can? Or is that just being open? If a cheating spouse knows their partner is snooping through their stuff they’re going to get better at hiding it. If one party thinks the other one is cheating, is a non-incriminating data trail going to reassure them?
Miranda has half-admitted that she got with Blake back when he was married. She said in an interview a couple of years ago that she was instantly attracted to Blake when she met him, that she “knew better,” and “I knew he was married.” It sounded like she was trying to own up to an affair without stating it outright. So now she’s fighting for her own marriage after a scant couple years. She seems to think it’s worth fighting for at this point, but it also reads like she didn’t know what she was getting into. She should have, she’s said that her parents are private investigators and “I’ve seen this my whole life – affairs.” I’m sure she’s seen affairs happening in second marriages too, when the husband decides he wants to trade in his second wife/former mistress.

Supporting her handsome hubby host, and putting on a performance herself, Miranda Lambert was the big winner of the night for the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 7).
In addition to belting out her hit "Mama's Broken Heart," Lambert managed to pull in three new pieces of hardware for herself including Song of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
Eager to be recognized for all aspects of her work, Miranda gushed during one of her acceptance speeches, saying, "I?m so thankful to be in this genre. I love everybody to death. Thank you for accepting me as a songwriter and not just a singer and a performer because that means the world to me.?
The 29 year-old country crooner's husband, Blake Shelton, also had plenty of positive words to say about his main lady as they accepted their combined award for Song of the Year for their hit, "Over You."
"Last time this happened, you didn't get a chance to talk and you're not going to get a chance this time either," Blake said to Miranda during their speech, adding, "I'll tell you something, I've learned so much from this human being standing next to me, a lot of things about myself. She blows me away ... I used to think I was a decent songwriter until I started hanging out with her, and she really taught me how to write a good song and this is proof of it. Thank you so much baby, I love you."

Country singer Miranda Lambert wore a Shoshanna floral-print shirt dress and gold-studded orange and Pink strappy suede platform heels to the Pedigree Feeding Project, an initiative designed to help dog shelters across the United States. Fortunately for shelter dogs, they’re mostly color-blind. If only Miranda Lambert had that excuse.
Miranda is short and busty, so big bright floral prints aren’t exactly doing her any favors, but I could let it slide if it weren’t for the shoes. Dear God, the shoes. Texture, studs, straps, stacks, colorblocks — she hit every single branch on her way down the footwear trend tree. It’s the shoe equivalent of one of those one man band belly-drums with the cymbals and the harmonica and accordion attachments. Pick one or two trends and leave it at that.
Do it right:
