It shocks me a little bit to see how quickly everything has turned on Miranda Lambert. I already feel sorry for her, because it wasn?t even 24 hours after Blake Shelton and Miranda?s divorce announcement that a series of very anti-Miranda stories came out. TMZ?s sources claimed Blake really believes that Miranda was cheating. Page Six?s sources claimed that Blake just wanted to settle down with his wife and have lots of babies and she was all “I’m a free spirit, no babies!” Personally, I?m still going with my gut and saying that Blake is knee-deep in some shadiness, but I?m sure that will come out in the weeks to come. For now, Blake wants everyone to think he?s the injured party. According to In Touch Weekly ? who got their hands on Blake?s divorce filing ? Blake even petitioned the court for a protective order. YIKES.
Just one day after it was revealed that Blake Shelton filed for divorce from Miranda Lambert, In Touch magazine has exclusively obtained the official court documents! In the papers, the country crooner, 39, officially filed on July 6, 2015 ? Blake uses only his and Miranda?s initials. He also had the papers sealed to keep them from becoming public. In addition, they were filed in a different county than where the couple lives in Oklahoma.
The couple are divorcing after four years of marriage. The papers also show that Blake filed a ?petition for protective order,? which was approved on the same day.
A source close to the situation tells In Touch that The Voice coach completely blindsided her with the move.

My guess was the protective order was more about their Oklahoma property and Blake wanting Miranda to get her stuff out of his house? But who knows? Us Weekly’s legal experts say that the “protective order” was about the divorce filing, as in Blake wanted the filing kept sealed and protected, which is what he got. Still, it’s news that Blake “blindsided” Miranda with the filing.
As for their property split – Blake is getting their massive (1200-acre) Oklahoma property in the divorce, and Miranda gets the Nashville home. Us Weekly had more details about how they?re splitting their assets, per the prenup: Miranda is keeping all of the horses that Blake bought her and he?s keeping the horses that he bought for himself. Miranda is keeping most of the dogs, but it?s believed that Blake will keep Delilah and Betty. Miranda probably got custody of the chickens, two pigs, three minihorses and three cats.
Meanwhile, Chris Young was named as one of the potential ?other men? in Miranda?s bed by TMZ?s sources. Young is a country singer and Miranda has reportedly been close to him for years. Young took to Twitter to deny the reports, writing: ?I don’t normally address gossip but in this case I will. My name has been mentioned as a contributing factor in Blake and Miranda’s divorce. That is totally FALSE. They are both my friends and I would not betray that friendship. Just wanted to clear that up.” TMZ said that Blake is pretty convinced that Miranda was having an affair with a second (unnamed) man though. Hm.
Oh, and Blake is back on Twitter. He’s tweeting about treadmills and needing a drink. His first tweet back included the word “bitch.” Just FYI. And finally, the Blranda Dramz covers People Magazine and In Touch for sure this week, so we’re totally going to have another post on this, I’m positive.

As we discussed earlier today, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert?s quickie divorce has already been finalized? pretty much. I think there are still some documents yet to be filed and all of that, but this went down really quickly. And some people are asking why. Why did Blake file for divorce in the first place? Why couldn?t they find a way to make it work? As TMZ?s sources claim, it might be because Blake was convinced that Miranda might have been cheating. The sources claim Blake has been concerned for a while but he only recently learned some information that has him pretty convinced that Miranda was fooling around. My gut says that ?he who smelt it, dealt it? goes for infidelity too. Blake has had so many wandering-eye rumors, and maybe he?s looking to preemptively throw Miranda under the bus.
Meanwhile, Blake-friendly sources are busy little bees and they?re throwing down another explanation for the divorce: Miranda refused to have Blake?s babies. It?s like Vintage Pitt-Aniston Divorce Scandals up in here!
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are officially divorced? and despite them putting on a united front, we?re told there were issues. ?He is eager to have children, but she really enjoys not being tied down. I think they both were off on what the time frame would be,? said one source about the country stars.
Lambert also has a more rigorous touring schedule. ?They are never together, and he was wanting them to move close to being together. She really loves her career and touring. She has the ability to go and record albums when she wants and to tour.?

Yes, she tours a lot. Because she?s arguably the biggest act in country music these days. Mama?s gotta make that cash money. Blake and Miranda used to tour together quite regularly, but now he?s spending half the year in LA, working on The Voice. If he?s going to complain about how much Miranda works and how she?s never around, once again? he?s just as busy. He?s just as absent. As for the baby stuff? I don?t even know. I think for so many professional women at the top of their field, there?s a ?strike while the iron is hot? mentality. Maybe Miranda did want to put off babies for a while. Or maybe she just didn?t want to have babies because her marriage was struggling from the very beginning.
People Magazine has another article up about how Miranda is coping ? sources say ?She’s doing the best she can and taking it day by day? she?s sad and trying to process everything.” Process faster, girl, because your now ex-husband is running to the tabloids to paint you as an overly-ambitious baby-hater and cheater.

As we learned late yesterday, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are getting a divorce after a tumultuous four years of marriage. My #hottake was that of course they were splitting, the writing was on the wall for more than a year and that they were barely in the same place at the same time nowadays. I also think that Blake probably does have a wandering eye ? at least that?s what the tabloids have been saying for a while now. Anyway, here are some additional stories about the divorce (which has already been finalized!!!).
Blake is the one who filed for divorce. He filed in Oklahoma two weeks ago and that might explain why we?re only hearing about now ? TMZ doesn?t have a ton of sources in the Oklahoma court system, so they didn?t get any tips ahead of time.
They had a prenup. Neither Miranda or Blake wanted to invalidate the prenup, so they?re basically walking away with their own separate assets. It sounds like even though they?ve been together for years, they always kept their assets separate anyway. Blake is getting the ranch in Oklahoma (which is weird because Miranda has invested in several businesses in the area) and Miranda gets their Nashville home. Miranda has spent the past few weeks moving out of the Oklahoma ranch, and by that I mean moving her menagerie out, which includes ?horses, a camel and a llama.?
The divorce is already done. The judge signed the divorce papers yesterday in Oklahoma ? apparently, the state of Oklahoma has a very expedited divorce process.
They barely spent any time together. People Magazine has released a series of stories (similar to what they did for the Affleck-Garner split) about ?what went wrong.? One of the main reasons for the split, according to People, is that Blake and Miranda really didn?t spend much time together even from the start of their marriage: ?the newlyweds spent only about 150 days together in their first 18 months of marriage.?
Blake didn?t cheat. Maybe. That?s what People Mag?s close-to-Blake source is saying. The source is likely Blake?s manager or something but here?s what the source told People: ?Blake is just that incredibly loyal and dedicated husband. I can guarantee you he has been faithful to that woman? he hasn’t cheated ever.? Except when he cheated on his first wife with Miranda, amirite?
Miranda comes from a family of private investigators. Both her parents were PIs. Just remember that. Blake claimed he gave Miranda access to all of his electronic devices and social media accounts so she could monitor him in case she was ever worried. I?m sure this will come up in future gossip.
Update: In a new story on TMZ this morning, sources claim that Blake believes Miranda was the one who cheated, which is why Blake was the one to file for divorce. Blake believed that Miranda was too friendly with singer Chris Young and that she possibly slept with another guy at least twice. Apparently, Blake is “very upset” and he told Miranda a few weeks ago that she needed to get all of her animals off the Oklahoma property.

The tabloids are going to be SO smug about this. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are over. There were rumors about their struggling marriage throughout their four years of matrimony. It?s seemed especially grim for them over the past year or so, as both have attended larger events solo, and they really did seem to be living apart. Who will get custody of the 15 rescue dogs?!
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are calling it quits after four years of marriage.
“This is not the future we envisioned,” the couple said in a statement to the Associated Press Monday. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
The country singers tied the knot in Texas in 2011, after dating for six years.
Both remained mum on social media about the split leading up to the announcement, with Lambert Tweeting about an upcoming show just hours before the statement’s release Monday afternoon.

Following four years of marriage, the ?Voice? hunk and his ?Only Prettier? wife have decided to throw in the towel on their marital union. Their joint statement reads, ?This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.?
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Blake filed the divorce petition and Miranda responded promptly. Their prenuptial agreement has already divided their assets, and Lambert will retain their Nashville property while Shelton will keep their Oklahoma ranch. Miranda Lambert is the first ever celebrity to cover Country Living magazine. I actually love these types of home-decorating magazines. I don?t like the super-fancy ones, where it?s like ?I combined three massive Manhattan apartments because I just didn?t have enough space for my wine and cigar collection.? Those magazines make me feel like a class warrior. But the home decorating magazines that are like ?I bought a terrible little cottage and I redid the kitchen and just painted everything else?? I love those. Miranda actually guest-edited this issue of Country Living, and she did the cover interview (obvs). Most of the quotes are blah, blah, I?m a country girl, blah. But she talks about trying to incorporate enough space in her home for her 15 RESCUE ANIMALS. Some highlights:
How Country is ?in her blood?: ?I grew up in Lindale, Texas, where the town motto is Good Country Living (really!), so you could say country life has been in my blood since birth. Even now, my husband Blake [Shelton] and I live in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, which is roughly two hours from any major city. There?s just a peace that comes with country life.?
On her summer plans to make jam with Blake: ?My dad taught me to live off the land. I now have my own garden, but Blake is really the gardener. This year, we?re planting tomatoes and strawberries to make jam. I have a little downtime this summer, so I?m looking forward to this task.?
On her beloved pick-up truck, Tammy: ?I?ve had Tammy, my candy apple red ?55 Chevy stepside, since I was 17. It?s named after Tammy Wynette, because that was the cassette tape in the player when I got it. Blake and I had it on display at our wedding, although I still won?t let him drive it!?

I have just one dog and let me tell you? he makes every room his own space. My bedroom is HIS room. The living room his play area. My office is his nap space. The foyer is his other nap space. The hallway is his thinking space. The bathroom is his drinking hole (I?ve grown to accept that he will always drink from the toilet). But I can understand how Miranda might need to create special areas and spaces just for her animals, since there are 15 of them. Good God. Does she have a full-time staff member just to take care of the dogs?
Oh, and the idea of Blake Shelton as a gardener? Interesting. I keep getting a weird vibe from their marriage though, so I kind of think he?s spending time in another woman?s garden.

I feel like there are too many country music awards shows. Does anyone else feel the same way? Perhaps the country music people think there are too many awards shows for pop music though (they would also be right). Anyway, last night the Academy of Country Music Awards were held in Arlington, Texas. The big winners? Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert and current reigning king of bro-country, Luke Bryan. I actually thought Miranda Lambert looked really great last night in this silvery Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2015 gown. Miranda has consistent styling issues, and since her weight has been in flux the past few years, I feel like she?s been having issues finding clothes that flatter her figure. I think this look is flattering without defaulting to the tried-and-true ?country? look.
The most Southern girl to ever Southern, Reese Witherspoon, was there with Sofia Vergara. They?ve been making the rounds ahead of the release of their comedy. Reese wore David Koma Fall 2015 but I don?t have an ID on Sofia?s dress. I don?t like Reese?s David Koma though ? too stiff!
Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline. Are you into Luke? I am not. He reminds me of a lot of douchebags I grew up with.
Kacey Musgraves in Monique Lhuillier. Very girly, very feminine, a little too ?sweet? for a grown woman.
Jana Kramer in Jay Godfrey. Is it wrong to think Jana was the best dressed of the night?

Last night’s Grammys were a snooze compared to past years. There were a few standout moments, especially the duet between Hozier and Annie Lennox (although I am so sick of “Take Me To Church,” sorry Kaiser). I also really liked the Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige duet, but overall there were a lot of slow songs and uninteresting songs. Plus Sam Smith and Beck pretty much swept everything. Kaiser already did our Grammys wrapup post. This is just my rambling introduction to Miranda Lambert’s performance of “Little Red Wagon.” Maybe I don’t keep up with current music enough (true) but this is the first time I can remember hearing this song. (In my defense it only came out as a single last month.) Theoretically I should have been impressed because it was an energetic performance of one of the few rocking songs of the night. It was a fun performance, but I couldn’t get past the fact that it’s a freaking children’s nursery song. What’s next, “Ring Around the Rosie,” “Wheels On The Bus”?

Miranda also won Best Country Album, for Platinum. This is her second Grammy. She previously won Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “The House that Built Me,” in 2010. Oh and Miranda wore a black Gabriela Cadena cutout gown on the red carpet. It’s a flattering dress and I like the fuchsia detail at the neck, but it’s not that interesting. She changed into a deep v-neck Sachin & Babi gown after her performance. I kind of wish she wore the Sachin & Babi on the red carpet, it’s a better dress and is much more interesting.

They?re always up for a good time, and Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert thoroughly enjoyed the scene at the Staples Center in Los Angeles tonight (February 8).
The ?Voice? coach and his ?Only Prettier? hitmaker wife attended the 57th Annual Grammy Awards and both looked stunning in their awards show finery as they smiled for the cameras.
Hosted by LL Cool J, the Grammys is the biggest night of the year for the music industry and this time around Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Katy Perry, Adam Levine, John Mayer and Lady Gaga are all slated to hit the stage.
